Kureto Hiragi [Seraph of the End]

Ok with you, I think of little beefy sour patch kids. I think of your faves (the ones I know) as like a little bit mean but a little bit sweet and a whole lot of beefy scrumptious-ness. This man is exactly that. You want to punch him sometimes a lot but he’s not a bad guy really. And he has a really fun demon sword and runs an army full of little revenge thirsty demon wielding humans. This man needs love but also someone that’s going to keep him on his toes and be able to keep up with his fuckery and I think you are very capable. I now pronounce you husband and wife.

Also if you haven’t ever seen or read this and decide to check it out, I highly recommend you don’t just watch it. There’s only one season but the series is so much longer and it leaves off at a part that makes things so misleading if it’s not finished. Also I’m so head over heels in love with the side story (but I’m admittedly biased bc it’s based on my main squeeze), it’s like a prequel, and there’s so much more Kureto content in it vs the anime. The anime gave crumbs of this man when we deserved a feast 😫

and dabis outfit was based off of me messing with the princes outfit in the animated disney movie and also a suggestion from my friend to have dabi wearing a cape and there mightve also be a bit of inspo from thraundil

ok but my answer to people who get upset that quirks are overpowered or don’t have enough drawbacks or don’t make consistent sense or that they’re too conceptual to be genetically based is always to say that bnha is much more like a fairy tale than a sci fi—in that the logic of what is allowed to happen has much more to do with characters and themes than with the science/magic system

this is how bakugou came back to life—on a physical level, tying somebody’s heart back together with another person’s body makes zero sense whatsoever. but thematically, the heroes who once thought bakugou needed to handle himself and left him to be attacked by a villain learned from their mistakes—they stopped the important hero work they were doing and helped him as much as they could, even at great personal cost. the whole story is about what it means to be a hero—because these heroes had learned the right lesson, their efforts were effective. Also, Bakugou had been the embodyment of victory for the entire story. It was impossible for him to lose

so basically what I’m saying is that the state (or non-state) of shigaraki’s body is basically irrelevant. the question we should be asking ourselves is, will midoriya be the greatest hero if shigaraki is dead?

no idea where to start so we'll just start infodumping and go from there

okay so!! the first of my bnha ocs is orion kingfisher, hero name "queen of diamonds." she's a middle aged butch lesbian, and her general theming is like. being princely/knightly.

her quirk is crystalline weapon creation, meaning she can make simple weapons made of crystals (swords, lances, axes, etc. cannot make more complex stuff like a gun or cannon, and any bow she tried to make wouldn't have a drawstring) . however her quirk also comes with a physical mutation, which is that she has clusters of clear gems embedded in her back, kind of like a turtle's shell. they look like cut and polished diamonds, which is where her hero name comes from. the gems in her back are very very durable, meaning orion frequently uses them as a shield in battle.

the gems can be shattered or splintered with enough force though, and those gem do have to be removed so she can grow back new ones. once every year she "sheds" her gems and takes a week long break from hero work, since she's left vulnerable until they grow back in.

her main weapon of choice is a rapier- the weapons she creates aren't quite as sturdy as the gems in her back, but since she can just create new ones, it's really a matter of attacking so fast she can't create anything to defend herself with.

orion debuted a year or two after all might did, and for the last 20 or so years has been floating in the lower half of the top ten wrt hero rankings. she doesn't really care that much about the rankings, however, she does think it would be nice to overtake endeavor in the rankings specifically to piss him off.

orion's always been enamored with fairy tales and the like, and dreamed of being the chivalrous knight or the dashing prince. despite that, though, being a hero was an idea that came to her only in her mid-twenties. before that, she was a ballerina. as a ballerina, she could play those roles- the chivalrous knight and the dashing prince. but it was only when she saved someone's life during a villain attack by physically throwing herself between the villain and a civilian, using her gems as a shield, that she felt like she WAS that knight, that prince.

so! she pivoted careers hard into hero work, and teaches ballet and fencing classes out of a studio in her agency's building in her downtime.

anyways. yes i ship her with trans lesbian all might. because if there's one thing i love more than giant blondes. its giant blonde women.

Anyway I saw a video of the ending of Bnha

All I can say is this is fitting metaphorically somehow and what the fuck?

I know that Deku isn't honestly that bad but I can't deny he's a terrible Protagonist though it's not entirely his fault, the stories have been a hellish dumpster fire up to the beginning, I mean I avoided cuz it ended up way too bad for me, like I got traumatized and couldn't look at it FOR YEARS in order to save myself the brain messes

But the ending sorta RUINED EVERYTHING FOR THE LAST DECADE SINCE IT STARTED, so much it felt like the entire story since the beginning is for nothing and I read some Disturbing fiction WITH BETTER WRITING THAN THIS

Fairy Tail was long, I think it's still going (The original creator's assistant took over the continuation since the Creator is done). But I always feel like it's never boring or going out of great tales to feed us, it's really interesting for me despite all these years. The point is that the stories never lose their charms and stay loyal with their core values since the beginning

I think that Bnha creator just got fed up with his work and fandom so he chose that ending, yikes, so much for a modern classic to die that way

Honestly I wanna share this with someone if you don't mind since I'm not sure who else to go to

Before I answer this, this is just my random thoughts and ramblings on this. Also I talked this out really fast.So excuse me, if it's misspelled or things are left out

Yeah, the ending was really disappointing. I just don't understand why we were Made to feel empathy for the league why we were shown, but they were a victim of the system why we were shown how Shigaraki wanted to be a hero, how Toga wanted acceptance, how Dabi was abused by his Hero father.

I mean, for over 120+ chapters, we were shown how Deku was determined to save Shigaraki just for in the end to have it not happen. Deku was the main character. His goal was to save his villain, which did not happen, and when something like that happens in a story, it makes it feel hollow. It became a very stereotypical story, villains bad, they die. Heroes are good. No matter what they do, they'll be fine. And yes, I know a lot of the heroes were wounded, but they got to live, even Bakugou who had his heart explode was brought back from death (thank god because he is a huge favorite of mine so no hate to him). And yeah, his arm was injured. But of course, at the end of the story, his arm is fine again. Which again? I'm thankful because he is my favorite now.

But it just shows that heroes will survive. It makes it feel like the villains don't matter, like what was the whole point of the story? Everybody thought it was. The next generation will grow and make things better, and they'll save their villains, but none of that happened. And no, I'm not saying I hate this story.

This story has given me a lot, and it was a big part of my life. I've had 3 different favorite characters in this story. Characters I loved dearly, and without this story, I never would have been introduced to those characters, and I'm thankful for those characters. Those characters are Dabi, then Shigaraki ( this man was so important to me. Never in my life have I simped so much for any character ever. Are for this long, over four years of hardcore simping for him, he owns a huge chunk of my heart and always will) And towards the end, the intensity of my love for him lightened, and I think that's because I knew what was coming honestly, And when you simp for a character that hard for that long and shit keeps happening to them again and again and again, it wears on you. Then Bakugou was another favorite.

So the series has given me a lot to love, and it's over now, and honestly, I'm glad, Literally the last year or two of the series, I was just waiting for it to end, literally counting the months. I feel like the story just got disjointed and fell empty.I think the highlight of the whole series was the Villain/ Paranormal Liberation Arc and the first War After that, it just it lost so much.And I think a lot of it was people are tired of seeing their favorite characters hurt. Shigaraki, Dabi, Mirko, Aizawa, Bakugou, Deku These were big fan favorites that kept getting hurt or ripped apart over and over and yes, it is good for shows to leave that cliffhanger and have you think your character, your favorite got hurt, will they make it, But when it's done several times it's just not worth the stress.

And yeah, I feel the pain on the ending of the story, kind of ruining the whole thing for someone I understand. 'cause when the ending hurts you that much, you can't even look at the series anymore. You just wanna wipe it from your memory kinda, and that's sad but understandable
