Because of Bitcoin ‘Halving’, Outdated Mining PCs from US Migrate Abroad - Technology Org

Because of Bitcoin ‘Halving’, Outdated Mining PCs from US Migrate Abroad - Technology Org
The Bitcoin “halving” event is driving the relocation of outdated US mining computers overseas.
The process of ‘mining’ new bitcoins requires a lot of computational power and needs energy. Image credit: BenjaminNelan via Pixabay, free license
In Bitcoin mining, specialized machines are utilized to validate transactions on the blockchain and earn operators fixed token rewards. Approximately 6,000 older Bitcoin mining machines in the US are slated to be decommissioned and transported to a warehouse in Colorado Springs. There, they will undergo refurbishment and be sold to buyers abroad seeking to capitalize on mining opportunities in more cost-effective environments.
These machines, among several hundred thousand expected, are being refurbished in anticipation of a significant quadrennial update in the Bitcoin blockchain, known as the halving event. Scheduled for late April, this event will reduce the reward that serves as the primary revenue source for miners. To mitigate the impact, miners are upgrading to the latest and most efficient technology.
Given that electricity constitutes the largest expense in mining operations, companies are compelled to seek lower-cost alternatives to maintain profitability. While older computers may still yield profits, they are unlikely to do so within the US market. Experts note that this trend represents a natural migration, with buyers of older machines situated in regions where power costs are minimal.
The concept of halving, integrated by the anonymous Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto, occurs once every four years to uphold the hard cap of 21 million tokens. The upcoming halving event, the fourth since 2012, will reduce the reward from 6.25 Bitcoin to 3.125 Bitcoin. Despite Bitcoin’s remarkable 50% surge this year to approximately $63,500, the impending halving has heightened the urgency to bring more efficient machines online.
As the halving approaches, the continued use of older equipment poses a risk of electricity costs surpassing mining revenue. While models like the S19 series may no longer be profitable to operate in the US post-halving, they can still yield substantial profits and enjoy an extended operational lifespan when hosted in regions such as Africa.
Some buyers are delaying their purchase of older computers until after the halving event, anticipating further price drops. For example, the cost of used S19 models was approximately $7,030 in March 2022. However, a year later, amidst declining Bitcoin prices, the price plummeted to about $900, further decreasing to approximately $427 this month. The price is projected to drop to around $356 in May, following the halving event.
In response to these price fluctuations, some miners in the US have opted not to sell their hardware but instead, plan to relocate the equipment to regions with lower electricity costs and third-party data centers.
However, not all mining equipment from the US is relocated abroad. Publicly traded companies face challenges in this regard due to the need to consider risk-averse shareholders and concerns regarding transportation costs, equipment breakage, and security.
These machines remain inactive for extended periods, collecting dust, yet companies retain them because they can still yield profits when Bitcoin prices surge, underscoring the cyclical nature of profitability in the mining industry.

What is the dark web? How to access the dark web? What can we buy on the dark web?
Join me as we explore the mysterious and often misunderstood world of the dark web. From its origins to its current state, we'll uncover the secrets and dangers lurking in this hidden corner of the internet.
Today, we're going to take a deep dive into this shadowy world and explore what it is, how it works, and why it's so controversial. But first, let's start with some basics. What exactly is the dark web?
The dark web is a term that has been used to describe the part of the internet that is not indexed by search engines and can only be accessed through special software.
It is a place where people can buy and sell illegal goods and services, communicate anonymously, and engage in criminal activities without being detected by law enforcement agencies.
The dark web is often associated with illegal activities such as drug trafficking, weapons sales, human trafficking, and child pornography.
However, it is also used by journalists, activists, and whistleblowers to communicate securely and anonymously.
But how did it come to be? Let's take a look at its history.
The origins of the dark web can be traced back to the 1990s when computer scientists began experimenting with ways to create anonymous online communication channels. One of these early projects was called Tor (The Onion Router), which was developed by the US Navy as a way for intelligence agents to communicate anonymously online.
To access the dark web, users need to use Tor (The Onion Router) , which allows them to browse the internet anonymously. Tor works by encrypting the user's internet traffic and routing it through a network of servers around the world. This makes it difficult for anyone to trace the user's online activity back to their physical location.
Once inside the dark web, users can access websites that are not available on the regular internet. These websites are often hosted on anonymous servers and have domain names that end in .onion instead of .com or .org.
One of the most well-known dark web marketplaces was Silk Road, which was shut down by law enforcement agencies in 2013. Silk Road allowed users to buy and sell drugs using Bitcoin, a digital currency that provides anonymity to its users.
Since Silk Road was shut down, other marketplaces have emerged on the dark web such as AlphaBay and Hansa Market. These marketplaces allow users to buy and sell drugs, weapons, stolen credit card information, and other illegal goods.
The dark web is also home to forums where people can discuss topics such as hacking techniques, computer security vulnerabilities, and ways to evade law enforcement surveillance. These forums are often used by cybercriminals who want to share information about their latest exploits or recruit new members for their criminal organizations.
Despite its reputation as a haven for criminal activity, the dark web is also used by journalists, activists, and whistleblowers to communicate securely and anonymously. For example, the whistleblower Edward Snowden used Tor to communicate with journalists when he leaked classified information about the National Security Agency (NSA) in 2013.
Journalists and activists in countries with repressive governments also use Tor to communicate with each other and share information without fear of being detected by government surveillance agencies.
However, the dark web is not without its risks. Users who access illegal marketplaces or forums run the risk of being scammed or hacked. Law enforcement agencies are also constantly monitoring the dark web for criminal activity and have been successful in shutting down several major marketplaces in recent years.
But what does the future hold for this hidden corner of the internet?
It's hard to say for sure, but it's likely that the dark web will continue to exist as long as there is demand for anonymous online communication and illegal activities. However, there are also efforts underway to make it more difficult for criminals to operate on the dark web.
In conclusion, the dark web is a complex and often misunderstood part of the internet. While it is true that it is home to illegal activities such as drug trafficking and human trafficking, it is also used by journalists, activists, and whistleblowers to communicate securely and anonymously. However, users who access the dark web should be aware of the risks involved and take steps to protect themselves from scams or hacking attempts.
Remember, if you do decide to explore it yourself, be cautious and stay safe. Thank you for watching this video. don't forget to subscribe me.

Horwitz has written extensively on Austrian economics, Hayekian political economy, monetary theory and history, and macroeconomics.  Choice is an essential feature of the human condition. Every time we embark on a given plan of action, big or small, we make a choice. Whereas many economists model people’s behavior using idealized assumptions, economists of the Austrian School don’t. The Austrian School of Economics takes people as they are and constructs economic theories by examining the logical structure of the choices they make. This book explains the Austrian School’s insights on a wide range of economic topics and introduces some of its key thinkers. It also explains the relationship between the Austrian School and mainstream economics and delves into the criticisms that Austrian School economists have mounted against communist and socialist economic thought.  Lectures on Austrian Economics with Steve HorwitzIn the Marginal Revolution, economics abandoned the cost-of-production theory of value used by the classical economists in favor of the modern, marginal theory of value. This new theory said that value, and prices, depend on the usefulness to an individual consumer of an additional unit of a good, as opposed to the usefulness of the entire stock of the good. One of the three economists who independently arrived at the marginal theory of value was Carl Menger. Menger is the first Austrian School economist, and his emphasis on the subjectivity of economic value remains a big part of Austrian economics today.https://youtu.be/J5Xx736haOAextension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://cdn.cato.org/liber.../books/AustrianEconomics.pdf...

Giełdy kryptowalut zwalniają pracowników/ bitcointok,bitcoin czart,bitcoin kiasz,bitcoin njus,Bitconnekt,bitcoin tu juesdi, Koindesk,koinbejs,eterium,ripl,bitcoin kiasz

side eyeing my former mutuals who said they dislike the miz out of moral reasons yet likes mjf despite getting himself inducted in a zionist org when the genocide was getting massive airtime in the media. also side eyeing my former mutuals who dislike logan paul for selling nft's when mjf have his own line of bitcoins too. i dont think legit scamming people counts as good heel work.
i dont even like logan or miz, mjf is actually one of the first guy who drew me into wrestling i just think most fandom bloggers are actually hypocrites who use moral reasons as an excuse when theyre actually just annoyed or hates something for petty reasons. and honestly, i support petty hating. thats fine. i have guys i dislike purely because i dont vibe with them, not because they actually do anything bad. but you gotta own up to it and be fine with people disagreeing with matters of your personal taste instead of covering it up with social justice excuses when you dont even do organizing work irl or even commit to any boycott.

Hey! I watched the podcast live earlier and just blatantly decided to come to you since I saw you were watching it :) hope you don't mind
My review is honestly that it was so so much better than the last one Dream (and also the last one Sapnap) took part in.
The people there, for starters, were so much calmer and neutral and, while some are odd figures to see for the - probably - first time (case and point, Amouranth) they actually were all knowledgeable, open and not biased. Amouranth actually proved to be likeable in last hour or so if you overlook what her job is which is fine by me and everyone else was honestly not really prejudiced against Dream and Sapnap's fanbase which was a nice surprise. They all were very diverse in their communities which makes discussions more interesting.
Obviously I had chat closed, after the first few minutes of seeing them spam weird stuff, so neither do I know nor do I care what happened there and I advise everyone to follow that strategy.
The topics might appear dry to a degree but that's normal and I actually thought they weren't as bad as others made it out to be either. Cryptocurrency and E-sports may not be everybody's favorite stuff to hear about but it was actually somewhat interesting to hear the conversation. Also it wasn't all they talked about either and it was mostly enjoyable.
People have to remember that this wasn't a podcast about Dream and George, it's a podcast they take part in, it's about Twitch in general, not about Minecraft, and about stuff happening in the world like Covid-19 and whatnot. And the amount of interest the people there actually showed in them despite that was very nice to see. When they talked about Minecraft, others took part in the conversation and brought up own opinions and experiences, and they listened when they talked or asked questions about E-sports and Twitch con.
Onto Dream and Sapnap - they talked a lot more than in most other podcasts they were in before! They didn't seem particularly disinterested either in my opinion? It was just that they were doing stuff in the background, playing games or be on Twitter etc. so reaction times were sometimes a little bit slower and might've made it seem like that but -
The fact that Train wanted to close the podcast but Dream talked about Sapnap wanting to stay more and then they went on for another hour kind of cancels that out for me.
Memorable Dream and Sapnap moments I remember at the top of my head from that were (not in order):
Train tries to explain the 1v5 Manhunt and everyone is kind of confused what he's talking about until he talks about landing in a boat
Dream and Sapnap were asked what's new in the Minecraft community and deadass didn't remember MCC despite Dream streaming the practice server
Ultimately we got Dream doing a few laps in Ace Race from his POV and him dominating in Dodgebolt, even winning 1v2s (on the server)
Dream correcting people on what the best colors for marketing are
Sapnap mocking us with not talking and he's generally just there to fuck with Train and troll everyone
At one point XQC joined and asked to 1v1 Dream in Minecraft. He got demolished and then continued to get demolished by Sapnap
Dream talks about the SMP a bit (once when they proposed that he turns it into an org to make more money and he just blatantly says that he doesn't want to get a check of his friends money; later they asked how he picks the people for it)
Sapnap wants to do one live E-sports event for the experience but not go pro
(Something along the lines of:) Slasher: "You can just pay a million to do some real Minecraft event (probably for live E-sports or whatever) and do it yourselves right?"; Dream: "Oh yeah, let me do that real quick."; Slasher: "I mean, assuming you make like 30 million a year or something."; Dream: "Definitely not thirty."
They're hypothetizing on Obama in MCC
Sapnap is the only one to hear Myth say Goodbye
Train: how old are you; Sapnap: ²⁰
Sapnap just highkey trolling the whole group (Do you live in Canada? Yes. | Are you in New York right now? Yes.)
They talk about conventions and whether Dream and Sapnap would consider going to them. Sap mentions Dreamcon again
They talk about streaming for a bit (They explain the concept behind having alts; Sapnap streamed 6 hours on his main and averaged 177k viewers/19 hours on his alt with an average 48k viewers/everyone is just highkey baffled; Dream: "I have zero hours.")
They pull the George doesn't know what Dream looks like scam again
Sapnap is asking Train if he would give Sap all his Bitcoin for Sap to run into Dream's room and face reveal prank him on Train's podcast
They are theorizing on how they would market Dream's face reveal, Dream and Sapnap find their idea stupid
Train jokingly offers to give out his stream key to Sapnap and Dream and for them to organize a podcast "with the gang" and Sapnap bluntly agrees. Train is baffled. (Pls. Yes. Probably not and a joke but please. Yes, give it to me.)
Maybe I'll look up the time stamps later if you want me to, but yeah :) I probably spammed you. I found it honestly very enjoyable and I only saw people complain so I wanted to give my opinion
(I don't really post myself, so I go to my favorite blog when I wanna say stuff, sorry ,-,)
thank you eveee and don't apologize i'm happy to always read ! i'm glad to read another side of the scuffed podcast because sometimes they can talk about interesting stuff.

Covid e disinformazione
Almeno i fondatori di questi comitati saranno medici, no?
@s-e-m-b-r-o

Bitcoin.org…

After Surpassing $65,000 Bitcoin Goes For New Record High - Technology Org
New Post has been published on https://thedigitalinsider.com/after-surpassing-65000-bitcoin-goes-for-new-record-high-technology-org/
After Surpassing $65,000 Bitcoin Goes For New Record High - Technology Org
Bitcoin surged to a two-year high, surpassing $65,000 on Monday and approaching record levels. Analysts say this cryptocurrency is going for a new record high.

With a session peak of $65,537 in European trading, Bitcoin demonstrated a 4% increase, reaching $65,045. This follows its recent two-year high in Asian trading.
Bitcoin’s impressive 50% gain this year has been particularly notable in recent weeks, coinciding with a surge in inflows into U.S.-listed Bitcoin funds.
The approval of spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds in the United States has played a significant role in attracting new substantial investors, rekindling enthusiasm and momentum reminiscent of the 2021 rally to record levels.
Analysts note that investor confidence remains strong, contributing to sustained positive flows into the cryptocurrency.
In the week ending March 1, the net inflow into the ten largest U.S. spot bitcoin funds amounted to $2.17 billion, with over half of this capital directed toward BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT.O).
Meanwhile, Ethereum, a smaller counterpart, has surged by 50% year-to-date, riding on speculation that it may soon witness increased inflows through the introduction of exchange-traded funds. On Monday, Ethereum traded at two-year highs, recording a 2.6% daily gain and reaching $3,518.
This cryptocurrency rally coincides with record-breaking performances in major stock indexes, including Japan’s Nikkei (.N225), the S&P 500 (.SPX), and the tech-heavy Nasdaq (.IXIC). Simultaneously, volatility indicators in equities (.VIX) and foreign exchange (.DBCVIX) have trended lower.
Analysts posit that in an environment where the Nasdaq is achieving new all-time highs, cryptocurrencies, particularly bitcoin, are likely to perform well, serving as a high-volatility tech proxy and a gauge of market liquidity. The prevailing market conditions reflect a return to a 2021-style market characterized by widespread optimism and upward trends.
