And with that, the battle was finished. The enemies were down. Though, Hakumen and Xototl look like they weren't giving up.

This isn't over! Not while I still stand!

???: I think that's quite enough.

Hakumen: (shocked) What?!

Behold the true combined power of science and sorcery! Feel my spell!

A powerful force stops Hakumen right where she is, preventing her attack.

Lady Hakumen! Let go of her, you-

Xotot tries to go and save Hakumen, but something flies down and stops him.

Xototl, knowing there's no arguing with Tezcatlipoca, stood down.

Hakumen: ... (defeated) Fine, you win.

Lupin: Hakumen, I know you and I haven't been on the best of terms, but if you really wanted to come, you should have said. I even sent an invite to the Tycoons care of Gyumao.

Cait Sith: Well that explains why I didn't get invited, either. Some urgent business came up and had to leave immediately to sort it out. He probably never got the chance to tell us about your birthday.

Hakumen: Either way, things with at the casino have been rather slow lately. I needed something to do until something exciting comes along. But I do hope for forgiveness for today.

Lupin: Well, as long as you've learned your lesson. Just don't do it again. I just want a happy birthday with my friends and the one I love.

Wakan Tanka: (happy) That's right. I am told that time stands still here, but I don't know how long Bigfoot's spell will last here.

Balor: I'm still unsure about letting my grandchild be romantically involved with an Invader. But I can tell you're a good person, child of the Great Spirit. I hope you and Lugh will be happy for many years to come.

Wakan Tanka: (pleased) Thank you, king of the giants. I will take care of My Lupin, My Heyoka, come what may.

Boogeyman: Now to fix this mess. Kurogane, activate the clean-up feature!

Kurgane's voice: Are you sure, Mr. Boogeyman? We still haven't tested it, yet.

Boogeyman: Well, now's a good time as any. Go for it!

In a swoop of light, the ruined Candyland was now back in one piece.

Boogeyman: There, that should set everything-

Suddenly, the ground begins to shake and everything starts to look glitchy.

Boogeyman: (serious) What's happening?!

Computer Voice: Ah ah ah! You didn't say the magic word!

Kuragane's voice: (angry) PLEASE! Damn it! I knew this was going to happen. The clean-up feature's non-compatible with the system. It's causing the data to become corrupt and making everything go haywire. I have no choice. I'm going to have to reboot the system.

How do you do that?

Kurogane's voice: First, I have to restart the system... That means I have shut it off.

Whoa whoa whoa! With us still in it?!

Kurogane's voice: It'll just take a second... When it comes back on, that's when it gets complicated. Now, get ready? I'm about to shut off the system!

You and Wakan Tanka hold tightly to each other. The others do the same with their close ones.

Then, everything goes black... But like Kurogane said, it was for only a second. After that, everything comes back on and everything wasn't glitching anymore.

Kurogane's voice: Did it work?

Boogeyman: It looks like it did.

Kurogane's voice: Good. But I'm afraid the real work has just begun.

What do you mean?

Kurogane's voice: Now, someone has to restart all seven power breakers. Once that's done, the system then has to be booted up from the main in-world terminal in the Candy Castle. Until all that is done... there will be no coming or leaving the virtual world.

Bigfoot: (shocked) Are you serious?!

Kurogane's voice: There's not much we can do. The connection to the real world is one of the things that's doesn't work after restarting the system. See? This is what happens when you do a rush job.

Boogeyman: Okay, okay, I'm sorry. I'll reactivate the breakers and reboot the system.

Not alone. We'll go with you and help you restart it.

Shiro: That's right. This looks like a task too big even for you.

We'll do what we can to help. We're all with you.

Hakumen: Well, this is partly our fault. I guess we can help, too.

Xototl: We will make it up to you, Quetzalcoatl. Consider it our birthday gift to you.

Lupin: (grateful) Thank you all. We can do this together.

Wakan Tanka takes your hand.

Wakan Tanka: Yes, we will, My Lupin.

Sorry if we're a little late. We were putting the finishing touches on the costumes for Lupin's party when things got messy. And after hearing that you may be going on an adventure, I think we were right to do so.

Shiro: You have costumes for us?

Arachne: Wee. But I have to warn you, we may not have enough for all of you and some of it may already look like things you wear on a daily basis. But, it's the best we could do on such short notice. Now, let us begin.

We follow Arachne and Kuniyoshi to where they had our costumes... When we arrived...

KOKIA in flashback - 2017

In the year of 2017, KOKIA begins a new project: Ton ton ton, a project that initially starts with 1 CD (Doubutsu no ongakukai, 'animal concert'), but with a twist: the CD comes in a tin with 6 different designs, all done by KOKIA herself. All songs are about animals, and for every song, KOKIA makes a separate leaflet with the lyrics and the animal design. The project is aimed explicitly at kids as well as adults, with merchandise and more CDs planned for later.

KOKIA returns to China not once, but twice this year, in January and in December, opening en ending the year with her visits. The year also ends with a Christmas concert as per usual, but this time, it's an orchestra concert.

She also starts counting down to her 20th anniversary next year, launching a special website like she did for her 15th anniversary. This is also when she starts her own Facebook page. The countdown has begun!

Translation of the first BIA Season 1 novelization.

I love sunny days because they always charge me with good energy. But I like them the most when I do two of the things I enjoy the most: riding my bike and being with my friends, Celeste and Chiara.

Riding a bicycle I feel free, as if I were flying, as if I were a blank sheet on which there are no limits. The same thing happens to me when I draw and let my imagination take me wherever it wants. It's hard to explain, but it's like things around me come alive; it's so much fun!

And about my friends Chiara and Celeste, what to tell them? They are everything to me and the best adventure companions. That's why today, as soon as we met in the park, I took out my phone and showed them the teaser that the Fundom guys had just uploaded.

“Now the Fundom has its own channel! A place to collaborate and create incredible content”, Jazmín said to the camera in the video. Next to her were Sebastián Villalobos and Kevsho, who announced: “Today at the Fundom there is a mega opening party! The countdown has already begun…”

"We have to get invitations to the party!" ALREADY! I told my friends.

So the three of us quickly put on our helmets and got on our bikes to go to Fundom, ready to do anything to get tickets.

When we arrived, we found an incessant coming and going of people who were working to prepare the party. Pixie was the one who directed the entire "opening operation", at the same time that she spoke on the cell phone. while she was talking on the cell phone.

Trying not to interrupt her, I greeted her and asked for her tickets, and Chiara also told her that we were on a list. But what a bad move! Without losing her sympathy, Pixie told us... that there was no list!

"Tickets are gone." It was a good try though, girls... Game over - she added as a farewell.

Almost immediately we ran into two boys and one of them, I have to say, we looked at each other for a few seconds, and ufff...! That exchange of glances was very intense! But that didn't make me forget my goal, and when I saw Sebastián Villalobos leaving the Channel with a cup of tea in his hand, I jumped headfirst into asking him for three tickets.

Like Pixie, he told us he didn't have one left. At that moment, an operator called him and Sebastián left his cup on a table. It was our chance! Without wasting a second, I took out a marker from my backpack and drew a smile on the cup. When Sebastian came back and raised the cup to his mouth, the effect was great: the smile seemed to be on his face! I took a photo of it, uploaded it with the caption “A smile is worth everything” and tagged it. Upon receiving it, his eyes lit up and he gave me two tickets that were promised but they had not gone looking for. What joy! Almost mission accomplished! We were thinking about how we were going to get the third ticket, when the guys we had passed appeared as soon as we arrived. Evidently, they had heard our conversation.

"Hello, girls!" Problem solved: I have one more ticket and I can give it to you, but the condition is that you come to the party with me,” Alex told me, looking at me as he waved a ticket. At that moment, Pixie appeared, unintentionally giving me the help i needed.

"Well, what a coincidence, the girls wanted some…" Pixie commented.

I then took the opportunity to quickly take the ticket from Alex's hand and, without giving him time to react, I replied:

—And he gives it to me selflessly... How generous!

Choosing what to wear to the party was not easy. I tried everything, until I was finally able to put together a look that I liked. But since I thought I was missing some fun accessory, I started rummaging through my drawer until I found one of my favorite bracelets and also, peeking out from underneath, a photo with my sister Helena.

The photo was from a family birthday. We were both sitting behind Helena's keyboard. My sister, as always, had the gold scarf tied around her wrist.

I was looking at the photo, when I heard her open the door. I thought it could be my dad and I wanted to hide the picture but I didn't do it in time. Luckily, it was my mom.

My dad doesn't like that we remember my sister, but my mom understands that she does me good. Helena was always laughing, singing, and remembering her brings me joy.

The two of us talked about it for a while, until my mother told me:

"It's a pity you haven't sung again after Helena's accident."

I then reminded her of what she always repeats: everyone has their own way of dealing with what hurts.

When my mom left my room and I finished getting ready, I went to meet Chiara and Celeste to go to Fundom.

The first one we saw as soon as we arrived was Jandino, although Carmín, the “trend girl”, appeared immediately in an old red convertible. Her arrival was so spectacular that even the trees looked at her. She had on some very high heels and an amazing outfit, she looked like a real movie star. With her video channel, Carmín managed to be one of the most important webstars in Laix and the "carminuras" love her. This was noticed at the entrance to the Fundom because they did not stop cheering her and asking for selfies. I think they were especially attentive because in the last video she uploaded, Carmín told about her breakup with her boyfriend and she began to cry on camera. Is it wrong to say that I don't believe her too much?

Her assistant, Mara, was following each of the steps of the theatrical arrival of her, recording it for So Carmín, her channel.

We also took a selfie before entering and there we went, ready to be surprised!

"We are opening."

Inside the Fundom there were colored lights everywhere, a giant totem with a camera to take selfies and a mega party atmosphere.

We were all anxiously awaiting the start of the broadcast, so as soon as Kevsho, Jazmín and Villalobos appeared on stage, people began to shout and applaud.

—Welcome to the Fundom Channel opening party!! exclaimed Kevsho elated.

—Let's go see Jhon Caballero, our first guest! Villalobos announced, and immediately they began to broadcast their performance singing live.

When Jhon's set ended, they took him on stage to interview him and we took the opportunity to go to the studio because I really wanted to see the magic behind streaming.

Pixie was in front of a console and was glad to see us.

—Is the Channel broadcast from here? Chiara asked, pointing to a command.

—Yes… with this you go directly to streaming. We already have everything prepared… —Pixie replied. For a few minutes she kept explaining to us some other technical issues, until she suddenly said:

"I'll be right back" and she left the study.

Seeing the empty Channel set, I had an idea and looked at my friends with a little smile. It was not necessary to explain anything to them: they understood everything.

-Let's go in. I promise you won't regret it," I told them, pointing to the set.

Although Celeste hesitated for a bit, the two finally entered. I stayed tuned, and as soon as the interview with Jhon was over, I touched the button that Pixie had shown us, and BOOM! The faces of Celeste and Chiara appeared on all the Fundom monitors!

The girls started to sing and it was immediately clear that the audience loved what they were hearing.

-Thank you all! Hopefully you have enjoyed! Chiara said excitedly when the song ended.

—I'm Celeste, and this is my friend Chiara. More than a friend she is a sister —Celeste added at the same time that she intertwined her fingers with Celeste to form a heart.

Seeing them put together a heart like we did with Helena, completely shocked me. But also, that day my sister had told me the same phrase: "You are more than a sister.. you are my friend..."

I was so shocked that I looked in a mirror and my imagination began to fly.
