Chris Dodd

Physique: Average Build Height: 5′9½″ (1.77 m)

Christopher John Dodd (born May 27, 1944-) is an American lobbyist, lawyer, and Democratic Party politician who served as a United States senator from Connecticut from 1981 to 2011. The the longest-serving senator in Connecticut's history, Dodd served as Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee from 2007 until his retirement from politics. In 2006, Dodd ran for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States, but eventually withdrew after running behind several competitors. Dodd then served as chairman and chief lobbyist for MPAA from 2011 to 2017. In 2018, Dodd returned to the practice of law, joining the firm Arnold & Porter.

The handsome, silver-haired Connecticut native and a graduate of Georgetown Preparatory School in Bethesda, Maryland, and Providence College. He served in the Peace Corps for two years prior to entering the University of Louisville School of Law, and during law school concurrently served in the United States Army Reserve before running for office.

Twice married, first in 1970 to 1982. Afterwards, he dated at different times Bianca Jagger and Carrie Fisher, among others. Wait.. he banged Princess Leia? Respect. Apparently, he was Ted Kennedy's wingman too. Now you know Dodd must have been in some pussy along side Kennedy. Eventually in 1999, Dodd settled down, marrying for the second time and the couple has two daughters.

New Romantics

Anastasia 'Ana' Davis has been uprooted three times in her life. The first time, it was 1942, and her parents decided to immigrate from Bogota, Colombia to Southern California. She was 4. 

The second time, it was 1945 and her parents had passed away. She was shipped to an orphanage about 20 miles from Rydell, California. She was 7.

The third time, it was 1946 and she was just adopted by Thomas and Bianca Davis, the richest couple in Rydell. They wanted kids but after a bad miscarriage, Bianca couldn't have any. She thought Ana was sweet. She was eight.

From 8 to 16, Ana assimilated. She learned English, stopped speaking Spanish, and acted like the perfect daughter. Ranked third in her class for academics, cheerleader, tutored struggling students for free, was dating football player, Wally Winslow, and was best friends with resident golden boy, Buddy Aldridge. She was the definition of perfect. 

But even perfection starts to crack. And those cracks just keep growing when Ana gets assigned to tutor Nicholas 'Nico' Barrera for English. 

Nicholas 'Nico' Barrera was a T-Bird. He was Cuban and lived with his mother Isabel and his older sister Elena. He was smart, no doubt about it, but it's hard to try when no one seems to care.

All of a sudden, Mr. Daniels seemed to care when he assigned Ana Davis, princess of Rydell, to tutor him. 

Every Tuesday and Thursday, at 2:15, Ana and Nico were in the library. Studying, learning about everything, including each other. Sparks flew and Ana panicked. 

This boy made her feel important, special, that she was something more than her family's name. But they could never be with each other, it would never work. 

They thought until Wally broke up with Ana and showed up the next day with Rosemary on his arm. So Ana let herself fall for a boy that could ruin everything she had worked so hard to maintain and she couldn't care less.

Nico and Ana managed to stay a secret for about two months. It wasn't an easy two months. The only people who knew were the T-Birds, Cynthia, and Olivia. They were always careful, making sure no one would know.

You can't plan everything. After unknowingly getting caught by Dot, the next day, Ana arrived at school to a vandalized locker and rumors spread around that Ana slept with the entire Rydell High football team. 

So when your reputation is up in flames, you can either run away, embrace it, or give them something new to talk about.

So when you're forced to be perfect for the last 8 years of your life, all that anger bubbles up and it has to go somewhere at some point, right? 

Yeah, after a rather brutal fight and a two week suspension, Ana was a new person. A person who was still one of the smartest girls at Rydell but also a person who didn't care about impressing anyone anymore.

Come the 1954-1955 school year at Rydell High brings more drama than Ana and Nico could have prepared for. With drama, comes a group of girls who are sick of how Rydell works against them.

So the Pink Ladies were born.

The children of NWR

Here are my first OCs, they are not all because in 1969 most were yet to be born in my history. I hope you like them and yes I have a serious problem designing shoes. a course is required to learn how to draw simple shoes. enjoy

Casper Diesel:

Casper is the first born on the railroad, he is the eldest son of Diesel and Daisy, but temperamentally resembles neither of them. Casper is calm, docile, sincere, and able to listen. he currently lives with his family in Knapford, and is best friends with Elizabeth

Elizabeth Gresley:

Elizabeth was born in tidmouth Sheds and is the first child of Gordon and Henry. she has a sister, Margaret, to whom she is very close. Elizabeth is very sweet, but sometimes tends to boss others around. however he is not as arrogant as Gordon, although he may be somewhat similar in character. she and her family live in Knapford, a little way from the station. Elizabeth and Casper are very close friends, but Elizabeth is definitely hand in glove with Catherine, who is the opposite of her.

Catherine Horwich:

Catherine is the first daughter of Jamed and Edward, she is a bit reckless, and often a bit mischievous. even maybe a little spoiled by James, who buys her anything she wants. (even if Eddy is against it) Catherine always knows how to get into trouble, and she often drags Elizabeth into it, who always takes the beatings from her parents because of her. Catherine has a peaceful one-year-old brother named Dash, who for some reason she hates and is jealous of.

Caleb Diesel:

Caleb is the second child of Daisy and Diesel, and arrived not even thirteen months after Casper. unlike his older brother, he is very mischievous, and his favorite sport is answering back to his mother, who is doing everything to make him grow up as good as Casper. but nothing seems to work with this brat child.

Nicolaj Gresley:

Nicolaj is the first child of Scott and Frieda, and cousin of Elizabeth, Margaret and Anne. lives in Mainland with his parents and his one-year-old brother Michael. Nicolaj, just like his parents, is very self-confident, and plays a lot of sport at the behest of Frieda. she sees her cousins ​​three times a year, when they leave Sodor to visit them on the Mainland.

Friedrich Porter:

Friedrich is the first and only son of Porter and Timothy, lives with his parents in Wellsworth, so away from the other children. Friedrich is very quiet, reserved. but he loves spending time with his parents and above all he loves the ships in the port, sometimes Porter takes him to work and he stays there playing away from the tracks until his father has finished. when in company he doesn't mind talking, but prefers to be alone.

Margaret Gresley:

Margaret is the second daughter of Gordon and Henry, younger sister of Elizabeth and cousin of Nicolaj and Anne. Margaret is extremely stubborn and listens to little or nothing, which makes her look even more like Gordon. her temper causes many problems for Gordon and Henry, who often lose patience with her, and must always be careful to put the chain on the door, as she tends to leave without asking.

Anne Gresley:

Anne is the first child of Spencer and Duchess, as well as being a cousin of Elizabeth, Margaret and Nickly. Anne is a beautiful and sweet little girl, she is very attached to her mother and has never thrown a tantrum. she has a little sister of a few months, Bianca, whom she sweetly calls "B", and to whom she directs many drawings. Spencer is proud of his first daughter, and is often his only topic of conversation.

Rifat Ozbek (1953) è uno stilista turco che all’inizio della carriera ha lavorato anche in Italia, con walter Albini . Negli anni ’70 è in Inghilterra per studiare architettura, ma lascia per iscriversi alla Saint Martin’s School of Art. I suoi primi abiti, commissionati da una catena di magazzini, sono ispirati all’Oriente. La collezione del debutto è dell’84. Si afferma a livello internazionale a partire dalla seconda metà degli anni ’80, con uno stile multietnico, opulento e fantasioso. Collezioni ispirate spesso all’arte, ma anche al costume: tra i temi più celebri, gli esistenzialisti, gli orientalisti, Capri anni ’50, i balletti di Martha Graham, alcuni film o libri, ma anche idee prese a prestito dallo street style e dal disco-look, ripensate in chiave prêt-à-porter. Nell’87 lancia la linea Future Ozbek. Ma è soprattutto dall’88 — da quando cioè inizia a collaborare con l’italiana Aeffe, azienda che produce e distribuisce le sue collezioni — che Ozbek consolida la sua popolarità e i suoi prodotti sono venduti in tutto il mondo. Affronta gli anni ’90 con una nuova visione: una collezione tutta bianca, ispirata alla New Age, che lo rende uno dei paladini della moda avant-garde internazionale. Sperimenta poi il video come forma alternativa di presentazione delle sue collezioni. Nel ’91 debutta nel calendario degli stilisti milanesi; nel ’94 sfila a Parigi; nel ’96 disegna i costumi per l’apertura dei giochi olimpici di Atlanta, lancia il profumo Ozbek, una linea Rugs and “Kilims” e partecipa infine alla Biennale di Firenze della moda. Nel ’97 debutta sulle passerelle newyorkesi.

Dani & Bianca : The Porter Sisters ✨

A while ago, I put out some polls with which Disney characters (or twst versions of them) would be the best partners for the overblot guys. However, I want to go over all my choices for these guys along with my thoughts on their ideal partner in more depth and examples. Like last time, this is only focusing on the Overblot Squad, but I'll make another one with some other characters later on.

Keep in mind this is all personal opinion. If you disagree with me, fine and to each is their own.

(As a side note, while I only listed off girl examples for these guys, that doesn't mean that I see them all as straight. I hc these guys as bi/pan minus Riddle and Jamil, who I see as gay and demi respectfully. It just means I couldn't think of any male examples with those traits. All of this applies to twisted OC versions of these characters too, so their partners can be of any gender. I also used gender neutral pronouns in the "Ideal Partner Traits" section for this reason.)

Riddle

Ideal Partner Traits: Riddle needs someone who's free spirited, smart, creative and is able to call him out before he flies off the deep end. Someone grounded and calm would also do like Trey. Bonus points if they have a loving family that would freely accept him and show him love that his mother never did. Disney character examples: Mulan, Alice (aged up), and Luz (from The Owl House)

Leona

Ideal Partner Traits: He needs a partner who is headstrong, bold and able to stand their ground against him, calling him out on his bullshit. A partner who is smart, but still is able to call him out would do too. Bonus points if they are disabled, but are able to push through anyways to help prove Leona's outlook and worldview along with vice versa, but that's not a requirement. Disney character examples: Merida (aged up), Eilonwy (aged up) and Belle

Azul

Ideal Partner Traits: He needs someone who's ambitious and goal-driven, being able to calm down his darker Girlboss tendances and helping him learn to love and accept himself, even the former fat version. Bonus points if said partner is plus sized to help him learn to accept himself even more, but that's not totally nesscary. Disney Character examples: Tiana, Audrey from Atlantis and maybe Ariel

Jamil

Ideal Partner Traits: He needs someone sassy, smart, extroverted and quick thinking enough to force him out of his shell, bringing out his mischievous and fun side. But at the same time, they have be grounded, reasonable, level-headed and capable enough that they wouldn't give him headaches, cause him to argue with them constantly or make him feel like he's their babysitter. His partner needs to strike that fine balance for the relationship to work. Bonus points if his partner is rich to help him get over his prejudices about the Asims and to give that Aladdin/Jasmine vibe, but that's not needed either. Disney Character Examples: Jasmine, Moana, and maybe Cinderella and a beastman or human version of Bianca (While Cinderella isn't exactly super extroverted or sassy, she's a harding working, empathic and would understand his situation. Tiana could maybe work by that same logic, but I ship her with others more. While Bianca is more introverted too, she's also empathic, caring and thoughtful, being just as cunning and smart as he is.)

Vil

Ideal Partner Traits: Vil needs someone who is intelligent, hard working and capable, who would be able to see him for him instead of as a celebrity and is able to see the good in him. Someone who also won't put up with his harsh judgment calls, even when he has a point, helping him to learn to say his points in a less cruel manner. A bit of an outcast, too. Disney Character Examples: Belle, Jane Porter and Tiana

Idia

Ideal Partner Traits: Someone extroverted, sassy, confident and quick who would be able to pull him out of his his comfort zone and have fun again. They would also have to be just as a big of a nerd as he is, especially if this is an OC in a modern AU. Disney Character Examples: Meg

Malleus

Ideal Partner Traits: He needs a partner who is kind, understanding and open minded. Someone who wouldn't be intimidated by him, wanting spend time with him and is a bit of an oddball in their own right. Kinda like Yuu in the canon. Disney Character Examples: Aurora and Rapunzel

The 1970s - part 1

Some trends from the late 1960s carried through into the early 1970s, the Woodstock festival of peace and music marked the end of the 1960s hippie movement however, the hippie flower child look carried over into the first half of the decade in a non-restrictive bohemian silhouette with a heavy folksy influence.

Arts and crafts were very popular to the era, things such as tie-dye, batik, knitwear, crochet and macramé were present during this time and created a great sense of ease and comfort to early 1970s fashion.

Designers like Laura Ashley and Jessica McClintock popularized the prairie dress phenomenon. The Prairie dress was typically made up of romantic silhouettes with delicate details like floral prints, long billowing skirts, and lots of ruffles.

Thea Porter

Thea Porter pioneered bohemian chic, her shop in Soho instantly drew a crowd of rock and film stars, clients such as the Beatles and Pink Floyd to Elizabeth Taylor, Faye Dunaway and Barbara Streisand took a liking to her style. Thea Porter celebrated ethnic styles in Indian style prints, free flowing breezy gauzy tent dresses and wide legged pants.

During the 1970s skirts could be seen in a variety of lengths, mini, midi or maxi. The maxi dress was a must have of the decade in a multitude of styles and shapes. Rich earthy tones dominated the era, warm browns, burgundy, rust, mustard, and avocado green took centre stage.

The 1970s saw women emerge in to the work place, they began to dress more "masculine" wearing pantsuits, day wear and separates echoed in the film'Annie Hall'. The image below shows Diane Keaton wearing a fitted vest with a collared white shirt and men’s neckties in the film.

From then on, the pantsuit became the next big thing. Bianca Jagger wore a YSL pantsuit at her wedding to Mick Jagger in 1971.
