I’m thinking Aziraphale made the first move in 1941
I know it’s not a popular opinion, but:
I’m thinking of the look on Aziraphale’s face when Crowley saves the books.
I’m thinking of Aziraphale meaningfully offering to do SOMETHING for Crowley in the car.
I’m thinking of Aziraphale almost getting discorporated TWICE in one day.
I’m thinking of Aziraphale pulling off not only a magic act on stage in the West End, but then SAVING CROWLEY with a successful act of magic.
I’m thinking at the end of that day Aziraphale was probably feeling invincible.
In Season Two:
I’m thinking of just how handsy Aziraphale was: petting Crowley in the Dirty Donkey, orchestrating the dance, grabbing Crowley’s hand to pull him onto the dance floor. Clearly trying to get something started through touch.
I’m thinking how when Aziraphale was dancing with Crowley he could not listen to him talk about danger-could not seriously entertain the idea.
I’m thinking how Crowley’s answer to getting things started was to talk about it in the final 15.
I’m thinking how when Crowley finally makes a physical move it’s out of desperation, and definitely too much.
I think Aziraphale made the first move in 1941, feeling invincible. He kissed Crowley, and Crowley just explodes with passion that’s been pent up for millennia. Things get further along than Aziraphale planned, or something interrupts them, and Aziraphale puts the brakes on. OR they make love, and Crowley starts talking about a future together (the first “go off together” maybe?) and Aziraphale is SO not into anything that overtly dangerous. Crowley is CRUSHED, and of course, they don’t talk about it, he just leaves.
Then they don’t talk about it for another 80 years, because they’re them, except for “You go too fast for me Crowley” which could just as easily refer to Crowley moving things faster than Aziraphale had intended after Aziraphale made the first move.
I like this idea, probably not gonna happen, but I like it.

I tried to make friends with a writer I really admire but it went badly. When I stopped sharing their fics, they stopped talking to me and I feel badly about it. How are you making friends in the fandom? Is this just a requirement for friendship?
Anon!!
First of all, I'm sorry that happened! I've been there before- trying to befriend someone who doesn't actually want friends, but like...fans, I guess? It sucks. It's not a requirement, though.
I talk to @ablogofsapphicpanic every single day. When I drive home I send her voice notes about bullshit that's annoying us, Taylor Swift theories, how my job annoys me- we literally talk all day. And do you know how many of my fics she's read? Maybe five, and none since the emorie fic.
@the-lonelybarricade and I literally spent a week together traversing the English countryside and we haven't read every fic the other has written.
I could name a dozen other people in the fandom I count among my friends that don't read everything I write- they're busy, it's not interesting to them, they're working on their own projects and don't have the time. The list goes on and on and on and on-
My point is that sharing every fic shouldn't be a requirement to be friends with someone. It's shallow imo. There's more than just that reciprocal relationship that makes fandom friendships wonderful. And if that's all they wanted from you, fuck them. You can do better

Normal people don’t make a post about how people are gross and possibly criminals over some fictional fantasies they have
Treating fantasies the same as criminal behavior is going to water down and normalize actual abuse
this topic is a slippery slope so i want to be careful about it skdsjjds but yes i agree. thoughts and fantasies aren’t crimes, and fictional characters are objects that can’t be hurt. fiction never equals reality and you can have fantasies in fiction that you’d never act on irl, so to treat it as genuine abuse and something to be feared, shunned, and condemned is outrageous. at the end of the day just leave people be. block if you feel uncomfortable with their content. you’re more than entitled to feelings of disgust truly but it’s not appropriate to act on them. fiction can never hurt or cause real genuine harm.
and for the love of god don’t doxx or call people out for the content they create or consume bc truly its none of your damn business bc they are not hurting anyone real. fiction isn’t real. thoughts aren’t crimes. simple as that

Text: A little bird told me that the children have been misbehaving a lot lately— Don't get me started on what they have done this time... They are already a handful, but it seems like they are even worse at nighttime—
Text: Would you mind giving them a lesson for me?
Text: They aren't fragile, as you already know, so feel free to go all out on them. They might try to dress you up by force, so I thought I would warn you about that. I hate to bother you, but I hope you wouldn't mind handling them... I would handle them myself, but things have been... stressful. I promise I'll talk to you soon.
Text: I promise I'll make sure to bring you something nice to make up for all of this. Did you have anything you would like?

As soon as Banana had entered, the puddles alerted him. Whispering that someone is intruding upon the studio. Expecting it to be another nosy human, he dropped what he was doing && slunk towards the entrance. They get many of those this time of year, much to his annoyance. It's the spooky weather, he reckoned.
But as he turned the corner, he heard a familiar voice. Banana. He perked up upon recognizing who this surprise visitor was. Excitement won over caution, && he quickened his pace. Gosh, he hasn't seen him in a while!
... Okay, maybe he shouldn't have grabbed him. But can you really blame him? He beamed at the other toon, clearly excited to see him. ❝ Howdy! ❞ A part of him is surprised that no fear is coming from Banana. Most would be terrified of this large, imposing form.
Oh. At the question, his smile faltered, && he chittered. Great, he doesn't recognize him. It hurts a little, hearing that he looks nothing like his toon self. He sighed && moved to set him back down on the floor. ❝ ... I know him, yeah. What about him? ❞ Bendy tries to not let his displeasure be shown.
