LOVE ships that are best friends first and lovers second. childhood friends to lovers is my absolute shit. i know everyone loves enemies to lovers rivals to lovers whatever but i love people who just know each other inside and out. who, when they’re together, are still silly and friendly first and foremost. the type of relationship that can have slap fights and know every single intimate detail about each other. who are constantly glued together and sometimes speak at the same time like freaky twins in a horror movie. i love friendship as a deep aspect of love u bitches js don’t get it

just remembered Buck wanting to bring flowers and take his date on a hot air balloon date and make reservations at a fancy restaurant to woo when he was feeling giddy in his first relationship. And when he dials that up even more with the love of his life? then I remembered that Eddie is a romantic at his core who will gladly dress up in a couple's costume and hold eye contact as he says life-changing lines and loves romances like in the telenovelas he watches. And when he dials it all up too? sorry I feel feverish immediately

“What the fuck was that?” Harry slowly takes his eyes off of you as he watches you walk towards your kitchen so he can turn to give Niall a questioning look.

“What was what?” He asks as he watches Niall roll his eyes as he leans forward so he can grab his beer off the coffee table where the three of you are currently in the middle of an intense game of monopoly.

“What was that look you just gave her?” Niall’s voice is low as he listens for the sound of the microwave to tell him you’re still in the kitchen making a fresh batch of popcorn. It’s Harry’s turn to roll his eyes and he grabs his wine glass off the table and takes a sip of it before placing it back down.

“It was a smile Niall that’s all.” He defends making Niall shoot him a glare. “What? Am I not allowed to smile at her-”

“You know damn well that wasn’t just a smile Harry.” Niall watches as Harry leans back into the couch so he can look down the hall for any signs of your return. “How long have you been like this?” Harry looks back at Niall who now has wide eyes as he’s blankly staring back at Harry.

Harry can practically see it all clicking in his mind, Niall is going over all the things that he’s tossed to the side and told himself “that’s just how Harry is” when it comes to you over the years and Harry feels himself begin to panic. He knows he can do a better job at hiding it, he doesn’t have to stare at you so intently when you speak, doesn’t need to always hold your hand when out on walks, and he surly doesn’t need to insist on cuddles on the sofa as a cure all for even the tiniest of upsets you deal with. Niall opens his mouth as if he’s going to say something but then he hears the loud beeping of the microwave go off letting both men know you’re going to be back in the living room any minute.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about Niall.” Is all Harry says but it’s the tone that he says it in that makes Niall just nod his head and instantly the conversation is dropped. But now Harry knows, he knows that Niall is well aware that he is in fact in love with the girl in the kitchen that they both call their bestfriend.

The knight and her healer, the Morticians wives - Whale and Stargazer! I'm thinking a lot about them. Stargazer has a tendency to work 'till she drops (even when her weak right arm gives up), and I picture that Whale would calmly talk her into going to sleep, then help her get to their nest and cuddle for warmth and protection... I wont lie, it's so hard to imagine Stargazer being cuddly with anyone, but I feel that she could open up a bit more with close ones, particularly Whale and Parhelion. It's certainly their case that brought them together. Both are very passionate and deeply caring individuals with strong moral code, no wonder they developed such respect for each other and, later on, feelings. I like their dynamic a lot, there's no doubt in that, hehe Whale was a hopeless romantic, and Stargazer's practicism would help to ground her judgments. In turn, Whales dreaminess could remind your no-nonsense healer why she gave herself this name all those years ago ;) I mean, look at them. A giant golden retriever of a dragoness and a workaholic grumpy gal make a good match~

Almost nothing changed about Whale's character (and fate) since her first introduction, and I think a lot how her leadership and subsequent passing affected each character, not only her partner. Whale grieved the loss of her community, so she created a new one amongst the Morticians - that is the legacy that outlived her for years. I had an idea to draw canon couples from the story for a long time, it would be cool to draw the others and talk about them a little.I just want to draw some cute interactions and have a reason to talk about characters, that don't get that much attention from me, but I'm up to talking about chars in general. I'm trying to motivate myself to talk more about my characters/stories/the setting, so I'm interested what character relationships you'd like to know more about! Relationships in general, not only romance (we don't have a lot of these to be honest).
