AJ McKee Jr! Submits Darrion Caldwell in the 1st round! Thru to the finals of the Grand Prix!

Wild finish here as Caldwell gets McKee on his back but McKee gets the crank on the neck. Kind looks like a half nelson from guard.

McKee will be part of the finals of the Bellator Featherweight Grand Prix.

Joey Davis dominates Bobby Lee. Takes UD.

All three rounds easily go to Joey Davis. Gets Lee down and beat on him gradually over 3 rounds. Davis never really postured up to get max leverage but he was landing really heavy with those elbows in the first round. A lot of rinse and repeat. Davis tried to trap Lee’s arm at multiple points in the fight so he could wail on him with no defense but Lee was able to free it each time.

I think Davis has a lot of potential. He needs these types of fights to grow and get better. Sucks Lee wasn’t able to push him harder though.

Fun little scrap to open the main card. Historically, 135 has been an overlooked division in Bellator so it’s nice to see them investing resources there. I get Terrion Ware vibes from Stots. A triple a fighter who can do things everywhere but lacks the depth anywhere and the athleticism to really be an elite. But he’s a solid fighter and he showed it here as he had Lee moving backwards and unable to build momentum.
