Alcina Dimitrescu: I enjoy jazz music, Big Band, Ragtime, and Bossa Nova primarily, although I make an major exception for Miles Davis. Not that jazz is the only genre I listen to, it simply will be my truest musical love. I listen to it because I've always loved it, but it, it also reminds me of my time with my own band, "Miss D and the Pallboys" those old records bring back so many memories.

sonic lunch was a literal dream come true! after two years of obsessing over concert footage, i finally got to be a part of tally hall history and see some of my favorite songs live. i'm so lucky to have gotten to be there. the concert itself was so fun. i cannot describe how it felt to hear the whole world and you live. it was also really cool to meet other fans who had traveled much much farther than me just to come see this.

to be honest it was a struggle for me to come even though i live in michigan, i have a knee injury that makes it really tiring and painful to stand but i rawdogged it and it was easily worth it.

after the main act andrew ross and bora would be doing meet and greets and signing stuff, there was a huge line which did not move for the entire hour i waited. i eventually had to step out because of prior commitments and i knew there was no way i'd actually get up there in time but it was worth a shot haha... sob.

anywayyy super fun i'm glad i got to go. sorry this was kinda cheesy lol

The 4 1/2 hour ride home from Pennsic with me, Phantom, the Boy, and the Borrowed Girl was pretty much one long rotation on the aux, which is basically the Borrowed Girl's dream come true. She was very particular that we should always all pick a song, always in order. (Meanwhile, Jacob was stuck in the UHaul with FM radio.) I love that the ride is a part of the trip that the kids actually look forward, and not just because we stopped at Sheetz and bled money three goddamn times AND ate Chinese buffet for lunch, all in a group effort to make sure we didn't repeat my collapse from last year. The music really makes it a ton of fun.

The Boy was pretty consistent in his Tally Hall and Lemon Demon picks. Lot more fond of Tally Hall than Lemon Demon, but I still think it's great that every generation has their weird fucking indie rock. I'm aware that Cake and They Might Be Giants aren't universal favorites. Weird Al is universal, though, as evidenced by the Boy's selection of White and Nerdy.

The Borrowed Girl has a somewhat unfortunate love for mashup contests and vocaloid and....I can't categorize it, but hyperkinetic electronica with machine gun highats and heart-stutter inducing tempos a little too much like thrash. We all listened, because such is the unspoken rule of the turn-taking, but nobody really shared her enthusiasm. Which is too bad, because of all of us, she's the only one all that invested in others approving of her music choices. The music she writes is far better than the music she listens to.

I consistently loved Phantom's picks, which leaned heavily on minor keys and were kinda...goth indie? Very nice.

Mine...well....you see my music picks. Sometimes I was wildly inconsistent on purpose, as when I picked Mick Gordon's Rip and Tear one round, and Ice Cream by OMFG the next. Sometimes I picked something that a previous piece reminded me of, like matching Phantom's vibe with Paranoia by Daniel Kang. Sometimes I just needed some damn energy. Crazy Frog by Axel F. Fuck it, we ball.

Personal headcanons that I have for the Kim Possible villains (not all of them). Long post.

Shego loves horror movies and podcasts and once scared the living hell out of Drakken after watching Ringu. She hid under the bed and once he almost drifted off to sleep, she reached from underneath to grab his hand and reveal her with hair covered face.

Shego hates cooking and rather orders take out than go through the effort of prepairing meals. The worst part is cleaning up dishes.

Shego can warm/radiate heat through her hands with her powers in a non-harmfull way. This comes in handy when massaging Dr D's stiff shoulders.

Shego's favourite chickflick is Legally Blonde. She showed it to Drakken once, he too, likes it. Now after every defeat they watch this movie while patching themselves up.

Dr Drakken loves British comedy such as Monty Python, the Mighty Boosh and Little Britain. He often quotes their jokes.

Dr Drakken has a complex bedtime skin care routine that he never skips and follows to a T. Though he only does it before bed, so if he stays awake for several days in a row, he won't do it until actually going to bed.

Dr Drakken actually plucks away stray hairs around his eyebrow to keep the look 'clean' and 'on fleek'.

Dr Drakken's shampoo smells of Lush' sugarplum fairy bodyspray.

Dr Drakken always sings the Mighty Boosh' 'Soup Song' when preparing soup. His secret ingredient to his vegetable soup with mini meatballs is tiny elbow macaroni.

Dr Drakken's 'take over the world by plants' scheme was stolen/inspired from Duff Killigan's failed attempt at turning the world into a golfcourse when the two were over at his place to discuss plans on the Tempes Simia idle and Monkey Fist was away to use the restroom.

Duff Killigan has one of those 'golf-on-your-toilet' golf sets in each restroom/bathroom.

Duff Killigan's favourite Disney movie is Brave, but more so because of the mother daughter bonding aspect of the story. He's a sucker for those kinds of movies.

Monkey Fist loves Shakespeare's works solely because of the infinite monkey theorem.

Monkey Fist has an incredible hatered towards the song "Banana Man" by Tally Hall and 'Day-O' by Harry Belafonte. It's an earworm that never leaves within a day and makes the monkey ninjas dance uncontrollably.

Frugle Lucre's arch enemy is Kim's cousin Larry.

Frugal Lucre collected cuddlebuddies but his mom threw them out because "you're too old for these toys, so I gave them away to your niece Pamela for her baby room" and that's his villain origin story.

Frugal Lucre has a Dr Drakken cosplay that he sometimes wears to (Hench co.) conventions (inspired by @gothicthundra 's Halloween chapter)

DNAmy's biggest inspiration for fashion is Velma Dinkley from the Scooby Doo franchise.

DNAmy hates Tom and Jerry because it promotes 'violence'.

DNAmy actually is pretty chill and wouldn't mind Kim Possible's company as long as Kim apologises for destroying her work. Kim is a fellow cuddlebuddy collector after all.

After Monkey Fist turned into stone, DNAmy tried reviving him. It didn't work out. She eventually moved on and started dating Frugal Lucre. They're in a happy committed relationship now.

The Bebe bots have their own reality show in Japan and are content with the attention and admiration from fans. They were offered a contact as idol group but they denied it because they didn't want to collaborate with Hatsune Miku.

Señior Senior Junior became a top model and worked with the fashionistas but when they got arrested again, SSJ used his privilege to continue his career.

HES SUCH A FAN OF THEM ALL KABEHEH. Ace hatesssss it so he’ll purposely screw up the song, and it makes for a very entertaining comedy act.

Jade + Azul Duo

The only reason is because they have amazing voices. Like oh my god their voices??? Are Heavenly. I was thinking of putting them in the worst category, because azul would get so nervous and jade would just be like… tormenting him silently HEGEHEH. But their voices literally make up for it, they are that good of singers. Also they sing so much abba, oh my god, the amount of abba that they sing is abysmal, it is so amazing (jade is an abba fan.).

Lila + mc duo

Actually so fun to sing with, he’ll dance around, and sing with you, and doesn’t care if you both look stupid of not. He sings more rock/ punk/ pop music, which you don’t mind even if it’s not your favorite genre, and even if you don’t know the words, because he’s actually just that fun to sing with :)

Silver

Beautiful. That’s it. His voice, the songs he chooses. Beautiful. He’s so. Elegant. I cant he’s so freaking pretty. For most of the outing he’ll be asleep, but when it’s his turn to sing he is wide awake, he is chilling, he is just like… blowing everyone away with his amazing voice and he doesn’t even know it :’). He’d pick very like… mellow songs. Which Is a harsh contrast to what most people typically choose, but he doesn’t really care, he’s not one to enjoy very vibrant, or loud songs.

HE ABSOLUTELY POPS OFF. Oh my god, he actually just like… does so well JKWVIE. Like he just??? It’s not the best singing you’ve ever heard, but he goes and does karaoke with his friends often, so he knows how to be entertaining. He also has the best music taste. He chooses a wide variety of music to sing, he genuinely can’t pick one to strictly stick with. (But he’d most frequently choose music that’s like… TWICE’s music?? I’d that makes sense. TWICE is the closest I can think of to what I’m trying to describe JEVJEEH.)

He’s not a bad singer either, he’ll sing along to whatever music he’s playing as he played video games, so you’ve heard him sing and he’s actually pretty good!! He’s got a very nice voice :). He’ll sing and dance with you in one of your rooms though :(( if that’ll make you feel better??

Bad singing voice, bad music taste, bad, bad, bad. He can’t hold a tune for the life of him, he’s good at playing instruments, not singing. Don’t invite him, if he steps up to sing, your ears will forever be damaged.

The only reason for this is, because his turn never ends. He’s but a bad singer, he even typically chooses really funny songs (respectfully Floyd is a lemon demon, tally hall, and will wood enjoyer. I don’t really love or hate any specific genres, but some of my favourite songs are from what people have dubbed the ‘Neurodivergent Trifecta’ (Will Wood, Tally Hall, Lemon Demon (+Chonny Jashes covers because GOD DAMN))- so take that as you will.
