Beastars dangly keychains I wanna make with a new manufacturer!

I have already made a couple small changes based on feedback from TikTok (Louis' antlers, adjusting Haru's nose) but I wanted to share here too :3

I'm really excited to get these done, these are the first charms I'm doing where I'm really playing around with the options for where the keychain hole and everything goes!

And yes if these do well I do plan on doing more characters (Juno and Melon being the most requested, possibly Pina too)

I wonder what makes stampede different from beastars and houseki no kuni. I understand that houseki is hard to keep adapting cuz the manga isnt done but I didn't see this much care and attention from the studio, same with beastars, although that one had its seasons basically guaranteed. It didn't depend on attention alone.

I'm not saying stampede is better/worse than the other animes (I watched all of them). I'm just curious why is stampede being treated like a western show and its future depends on people's attention and merch.

Has it always been like this and I didn't know?

AX 2024 🎆

I saw lots of cool cosplays and got many compliments myself, but the highlights this year are definitely the panels.

I went to a panel hosted by Orange Studio where they talked about the next seasons for BEASTARS and Trigun Stampede (more on that in a sec). They also announced the anime adaptation of Leviathan, which I had never heard about before. I’ll definitely be looking out for that later!!

I also got to be at the panel presented by Crunchyrolll where they announced Trigun Stargaze! It was kinda funny how the crowd (me included) absolutely lost it when they revealed the new logo for Trigun’s last season 🔫⭐️

I was able to get Orange Studio’s Yoshihiro Watanabe, the producer in charge of Trigun and BEASTARS, to sign my badge (I didnt have anything else 😭)

And I was able to go to two panels with Witch Hat Atelier’s mangaka Kamome Shirahama. As much as I would love to share pictures of these panels, she requested no photography, so I don’t have any other pics 😢

The best part of these panels was viewing the PV in a room full of ppl just as excited and awed as me. GO CHECK OUT THE PV ITS GORGEOUS 🪄✨

I also attended a live drawing and Q&A panel for Dungeon Meshi. Everyone had great questions and it was interesting to see the drawing process!! 🥘

Also, I was able to buy amazing merch and get autographs from voice actors Griffin Burns (Tartaglia/Childe, Muichiro, Canute) and Robbie Daymond (Goro Akechi, Megumi Fushiguro, Shoya Ishida).

☆ Oh my lord he loves how clingy you are...Your need for closeness, your need to know hes still there is the perfect foil for his insecure, logical self.

☆ He can never spiral too far while overthinking either with you around...He'll be having a whole ass panic attack about something little he did thinking he upset you and then you'll just come up like :))

And everything is okay ♡

☆ He also loves...The fact that you aren't as stressed or uptight as him. It really helps get him out of his shell...And he also finds it just really adorable. Your full of life- a little dumb yeah, a little reckless...More so...But you live life with a smile and it makes him really happy. He would fight the sun if it meant you'd be okay.

☆ Walks you home from class. As soon as he sees you...Tails wagging, dopey smile upon his face.

☆ Not exactly...A PDA guy but you'll notice how he always is full of pride whenever your around in front of his friends. He'll have his arm loosely tangled around you, smiling and be like "This is my boyfriend. Hurt him and you die."

☆ Very protective...Its quite subtle but....Oh lord does he care about you. If you're sick for instance...He will keep everyone away from your room until you are better. Make you soup (try to make you soup actually haha...Hes a bad cook), put on your favorite shows. God forbid someone Hurt you either or hell bother you for being a human...They would have to deal with a very irritated wolf.

☆ With legoshi...He shows his love in little ways. Merch from your favorite shows placed on your bed when you get back from school, waking up cradled in his sweater because you were shuddering in your sleep...You ending up tucked warmly in bed after passing out on the couch.

His hand finding yours whenever your stressed.

☆Hes very reassuring and...He wants you to know he loves you. Deeply. And no matter what anyone says, he'll always be your partner ♡

Current Interests:

Five Nights At Freddys: mostly the games, but i do try to get involved in lore, i have the books and have seen the movie. The amount of merch i have is scary. I was stuck in the fandom in like 2015 - 2017.

Solitaire (Heartstopper): i love the story and am currently annotating it. Michael Holden is my favourite, i love tori so much.

Baldur's Gate 3: i haven't reached the gate yet, but i'm having a lot of fun on it with my friend

Fortnite: mostly picked it up for OG, and then peter griffin came out and i somehow haven't dropped the game yet.

Beastars: I am currently on volume 7 of the manga, and have finished the anime twice through. Am waiting for season 3!!!

tell me about your interests

Warning: I am very boring.

I like video games and cartoons.

On the video game side of things, I really like Nintendo games, especially Pokémon, the Legend of Zelda, Kirby, Kid Icarus, and Xenoblade Chronicles. My shelves are pretty loaded with their merch lol. I do dabble a bit in games outside of Nintendo properties, some of my favorites include Ōkami, Monster Hunter Stories, Katamari Damacy, Yo-Kai Watch, and Elden Ring.

As for cartoons, I did watch a lot as a kid but never really delved into them seriously like I did for video games. I had a very brief anime phase during my teen years, but that was about it. If you’re curious, my favorites are Beastars and Made in Abyss. I also enjoy the Kirby and Parappa anime. Currently I’m trying to get really into western cartoons, mainly Cartoon Network shows, like I did for Nintendo games. So I guess I’ll say I really like Cartoon Network.

My favorite game is Kid Icarus Uprising and my favorite cartoon is the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. I poured a sad amount of my life into both. Maybe I have too much free time…

I also like Japan. Japanese culture, Japanese history, Japanese language… I like it all. I recently visited Kyoto for a month. It was awesome. I highly recommend for anyone to visit Japan if they are able, it is surprisingly accessible for foreigners. Food and people are great too.

Hi! I’m Vava, I hyperfixate on manga/anime titles a lot and my love language is making fanart

A little backstory: for the past three years I’ve been posting my stuff and communicating with fandom fellas on twitter only, then I had a grand art block for almost half a year and stopped posting, and then when I started to recover I realised twitter wasn’t the same anymore and it became less convenient for me, so now I’m trying to get used to new platforms, one of which is tumblr.

Important (for some people) stuff about shipping and all that (sigh)

I’ll get straight to the point: I don’t care what other people ship. If I enjoy it i’ll leave positive feedback, if I don’t I just won’t interact with such content. Or I will but I’ll still leave positive feedback if for example I’m not into the pairing but I love the art. I hate all those internet wars around ships honestly, like just chill?? All the same rules apply to all those so called “problematic ships”: if I don’t like it, I just don’t look at it (also ahem some people love calling everything problematic so… I hope y’all understand there’s no such thing as one list of all the objectively normal and objectively unacceptable stuff to ship)

As for myself, I’d say I usually ship pretty basic stuff, sometimes rarepairs, but usually not something most people find “problematic”. But I don’t owe anything to the strangers on internet, so I hope that if you see me draw/interact with some content you don’t approve of, you’ll just do what you find comfortable for yourself doing without trying to lecture me or cause drama

Atm I’m reading JJBA so I mostly think (and hence draw) about it, my previous major fixation was on AoT, and before that — on danmei, mainly TGCF and MDZS. I also love Chainsaw Man, Beastars, Nana and other stuff.

Some random facts about me

I’m ENFP, aside from art I’d say my main hobbies are baking and reading manga. I love buying lots of physical prints of others’ art and hanging it on the walls of my room, but due to the shipping costs I can only afford buying merch from artists from my country now (but I’ll change that one day!!) I’m pretty certain I have ADHD but I’ve never gone to a specialist to confirm that so idk lol. Aand the last random fact if anybody’s even interested I’m a bachelor of linguistics, studying for a master’s degree right now

ever since the land of the lustrous is released in 2017 by studio orange, the manga has received an undeniable spike in attention, after this artist further developed the manga characters in story.

A decent amount of time passes and Ichikawa does work with galleries, and even works for Nintendo. What’s interesting about her time in Nintendo is that she really only did development of Pokémon sword and shield, she’s still involved with the Pokémon company, though, since she has done trading card artwork for them. What’s especially interesting is that she is a notable character designer within the company, designing some of the most recognizable Pokémon, and npc as of recent.

land of the lustrous, though seems to be ending, and with that comes speculation. Studio orange when they advertise positions they always post their work from land of the lustrous first, and that’s because it was the most groundbreaking artisticly.

beastars makes them money and is easy for them to animate, and the manga is finished

the only comments studio orange has regarding land of the lustrous is “licensing issues”— maybe related to the phos figma in limbo lol

ichikawas pokémon card was diance, a CRYSTAL pokemon. pokemon is familiar of land of the lustrous, and treats ichikawa as a quality artist.

that’s because hnk is big, and it keeps getting bigger.

not saying we’re getting more content or merch, but that advertisement with the anime vas was a little suspicious too!
