Hello again!

Are you enjoying my blogmas so far? Bcos I am! haha

I feel like I have a goal now....... 1 post guaranteed every 2 days. It’s actually quite a bit, not gonna lie. On average, it takes me about 45mins to 1hr per post. & that’s the time for uploading of pics onto Tumblr (sometimes certain photos don’t upload the 1st time, & I don’t know why so I have to log off & try again), looking at the restaurant’s menu if I don’t have photos of it myself, & writing the content, which takes the longest. PLUS, oftentimes, I like to streamline things: I transfer photos to my laptop 1st, then upload from my laptop. So yeah.. on avg, 45-60mins/post. Longer posts take longer, & more reflective posts take longer, like for example the last one on the whole “dessert talk”.

Today, I have another dessert post for you, & it’s on eclairs.

Back on Robson Street again, Susan, Brenda & I checked out some shops & passed by this place. It didn’t attract me much, tbh. But we stopped & looked at the display thru the glass window.

So we ended up going in, totally unplanned & started staring at the eclairs. Join me for a closer look!

Ok so Passion 5 in Seoul is the only place where I’ve seen such a large selection of eclairs. I would say.. . by looks, these look like they belong to Passion 5 lol. Honestly, I never crave desserts despite being such a (biased) dessert fan so I would never go into one of these places in Edmonton - if there are any. (Are there any?!)

Super fancy-looking chocolate! They look very astronomical. Look at the purple & blue one in the center. Do they not look like planets are something?

On this side, we had the warm color series. Also very cool-looking.

I’ve been watching the YG survival program (yes, if you didn’t know.. . he has ANOTHER one recently) called MIXNINE. Upon watching it, I got links to another show called Stray Kids. I later found out it’s a JYP x MNET collab reality show that showcases trainees from other agencies vs JYP trainees that will debut, & how they “compete” with each other. There was an ep recently (I didn’t watch the episode, I only watched YouTube clips) that showed Bang YeDam & Choi RaeSung from YG! Omgggggg!!!!! I literally had my eyes on them since Kpop Star days! I knew they signed with YG but holy.. . it has been yrs!! If it weren’t for the subtitles, I wouldn’t have recognized Choi RaeSung but Bang YeDam still looks recognizable. Gahhh Choi RaeSung is like the next B.I. :D I cannot wait for them to debut & be a noona fan~! YouTube it, everyone. Search for something like Stray Kids YG trainees or something.

Ok, back to your guess. Which one did you think was mine? The answer is A: lemon yuzu.

I tried a bit of the raspberry pistachio & raspberry passion. Tbh, I felt like their “base” flavour was very similar, which didn’t surprise me since they both contain raspberry. The raspberry pistachio was sweeter, while the raspberry passion was more fruity & zesty. Mine? It was so good! The pastry was soft, & a LEEEEEEETTLE flaky, & the flavour & the filling was nice, refreshing, lemony with a hint of yuzu finish. It was so light that it didn’t feel like a dessert at all.

yeahhhh 10/10~!

Eyes were on the box of eclairs when we were outside looking in.. . I completely did not see the éclair tree until we were heading out XD
