Buds, I Literally just read a fic where the writer forced a character to participate in a civic demonstration. I know! Like, how can the writer just make that character serve their political agenda?! It is literally abuse! I am shaking and crying rn

And AND the character was Injured in the process!! Seriously injured, so he has medical bills now, and a lengthy healing process. The writer did that on purpose! They literally caused a person to suffer for entertainment. Disgusting!!!

And they had the nerve to write dialogue to make it look like the character consented! They made him say that!! That's not consent! I know that character, and he would never do that!! What, do they think that characters are just puppets? that they can use however they want? for their sick fantasies? about hurting ppl? What if someone saw it one day and decided for no other reason to force someone to go to a protest? What if they thought they should just break someone's leg bc, if it doesn't matter in fiction, then it doesn't matter in reality either, right?

Fortunately, I'm a functioning member of society, so I sent them a bunch of messages telling them that I know where they live and I'm gonna send ppl there to assault and murder them. And that they deserved whatever abuse they've experienced and should probably commit suicide, along with photos of real suicides as guides. Any other normal ppl wanna help me find their landlord and employer and try to get them evicted and fired? That'd be fun. 😊
