DIY loose wedding ring hackI recently lost a lot of weight and my wedding ring kept slipping off. Jewelers here said they wouldnt resize it because its silver. Bought some cheap clear nail polish painted two coats on the inside and bamfits perfectly now.

"I went through a period when I was younger where I was really self-conscious about my weight..."

Growing up, BAM was an average kid's size up until he hit middle school. He starting to get chubbier than his friends or other kids at school. Although he was active in sports and playing outside in his neighborhood, BAM continued to be a little bit bigger than what seemed like everyone else he knew. BAM said, "I went through a period when I was younger where I was really self-conscious about my weight and no kid should have to feel like that." BAM started working out and immediately felt strong. Not only was he losing his chubby baby weight, but he had really grown to love working out and training. Senior year of high school he started playing football and grew to love that as well. Continuing with his new found passion for training after he graduated, BAM kept hitting the gym hard and thought he might try pursuing a job in the health industry. BAM went to school to become an EMT but it wasn't quite the right fit. He wanted something that was tied closer to working out and personal fitness - so he switched paths to just that. BAM passed his NASM certification test with flying colors and moved to Los Angeles from Elk Grove/Sacramento area to become a personal trainer at Spectrum Athletic clubs. BAM has been working there for 3 years now and has worked his way up to a Level 2 trainer all while training for his first bodybulding competition. BAM hopes to continue working as a personal trainer and advance to Level 3, as well as compete in his first competition - the NPC in San Jose June 2013. Ultimately, BAM hopes to work with children in fitness, educating kids and their parents on the importance of fitness and health from early ages.

B.A.M.

I'm starting this blog as an observer of Brandon Alexander Manalo - BAM - and all that he accomplishes. I want to build support for BAM as he trains and competes in bodybuilding competitions. I also want to help BAM expand his training business, build his clientele, and strengthen his brand.
