i love that we got this whole flashback with son goku and his previous jinchuuriki who was the first human to treat him like an intelligent being instead of a monster, but we never once got a flashback of how mito became the very first jinchuuriki ever and how that must've been for her

i love that we got a whole founders flashback and where hashirama talks abt his and madara's story in detail but not once does mito, his wife, even get mentioned and funny enough, there are no women during the flashback except for a standstill image of touka whose name we only know thanks to the data books

i love that during the chuunin fight all fights got shown, some longer, some shorter, except for the temari and tenten fight where all we got was a "30mins" later and then a cut to tenten laying defeated over temari's fan (anime addition doesn't count)

i love that jiraya is a badass in his 50s and that his age doesn't hinder his shinobi skills, but that tsunade, who's the same age, is super vain and uses a jutsu to appear as if she was in her 20s (with big boobs she's fine to show off) and the few times her jutsu falls all we see is her hand that kishi drew like she was 1000yo and not merely in her 50s

i love that 2 out of 5 hokage are women and both love to show off their deep cleavage and one of them is obsessed with marriage and pretty boys, while the other male kage all are of different ages and despite their ages show how strong and capable they are

i love that during the grief/revenge arc shikamaru got to shine and defeated hidan all on his own, while ino (and chouji) were useless against kakuzu and just standing there while kakashi was there to save them (and then naruto)

i love that neji got a whole arc, got to talk to hiashi, got to change to instead of succumb to his fate and try to actively change the clan, while we never got hinata's view on any of that at all, but hey, at least she grew and got really pretty and has now massive boobs so that naruto's final love interest is aestethically more pleasing bc that's all that matters amiright

i love that none of the medics are male (random no-name background characters that all look the same don't count) and only female (tsunade, sakura, rin, chiyo etc)

i love that we got some background info on the parents' of konoha 12, but only the fathers are cool fighters (shikaku, chouza, inoichi, fugaku etc), while the mothers are all housewives happy in their roles (yoshino, mikoto, kushina) - except for tsume who is made fun of her brash personality and that this is the reason her husband ran off

i love that all shinobi and kunoichi have cool and practical outfits, except for kushina whose outfit is literally an apron bc she's just naruto's mum that's all there to it

look, credit where credit is due - kishi writes women still SO much better than a fuckton lot of other male mangakas. when sarutobi died, jiraya was considered as hokage but he said he knows someone better for that job; and that someone is a woman in her 50s who can crumble mountains, is loud and brash and a drunkard and gambler - and doesn't even stop being any of that even after becoming hokage. she continues being loud and punches stuff and drinks a lot! and she's loved by the village! she shows madara who's boss and srsly if he hadn't been edo tensei'd and therefore unkillable, she would've obliterated him. that's huge actually!

sakura is shy and sometimes naive but she's also smart and she comes out of her shell and she becomes strong and independent (in theory), and she learns not to focus on romance and looks so much, but still keeps the feminine side of her while being loud and proud!

shikamaru is defeated by a girl and saved by another one who defeats the girl easily and cockily and he stops being an airhead!

kishi also draws the women and girls well. these gals look their age and wear age appropriate outfits that are practical to fight with, instead of some skimpy outfits (*cough* that one cover of sarada from boruto *cough*) and the women with the big breasts at least look normal and anatomically correct, instead of being firm and bouncy

but the problem is that he created such amazing, well-thought out, sometimes downright iconic male characters, that in comparison all his female characters pale, despite leagues ahead of the female characters from other shounen mangas

and i generally agree with the post "i don't care how bad naruto is - it has heart" bc yeah, i wouldn't be here if that weren't the case. but sometimes it gets incredibly frustrating when i think of all the potential these gals and women had and never got bc kishi couldn't be bothered to at least try

i'm sorry i'm still not over the fact that kishi couldn't fit sakura's parents anywhere in the manga, so he gave the creative rights over to sp, but he had plenty of space to fit in a catholic background for kabuto, which we all clearly needed thank god

it's also so important he included the hanzo vs. mifune fight and gave them a whole backstory but the girl from suna whose name i don't rmbr anymore sorry vs. her dead sensei pakkura only got a single shocked "sensei!" and nothing more bc uuuhhhh,,,,, plot reasons. they're just some unimportant background characters whereas hanzo and mifune aren't

i think it's sooo cool how team 7 became the new legendary sannin but only naruto and sasuke got god-like powers and it was kakashi who actively helped against kaguya without god-powers and even formed a whole ass susannoo deapite not being an uchiha while sakura. got to punch kaguya once (1) (which was not even needed in that situation either)

i think it's so interesting how bee had this sad backstory with that dude from the turtle island, but the backstory of kurosutchi (?) and deidara and the kind of relationship they had considering she calls him deidara-nii is clearly not relevant to the plot, please be realistic

konan could obv not be brought back with edo tensei bc she blew herself up to the smithereens and nothing was left of her anymore but deidara could be brought back bc.... uhm. hm. bc he clearly did not completely blow himself up nope

these are all perfectly reasonable explanations and have clearly all to do with plot and absolutely nothing with the fact that they're women nope

Me, after finishing Naruto: omg Sakura, you useless sack of grass, she did literally nothing but get in the way, people told me she would eventually get badass but I finished the whole anime and NOTHING?? Goddammit the character has potential, so I better hope she’s made SOME progress in Shippuden.

What they watch

He's kinda particular but not really. If it doesn't catch his attention fast, then he won't watch. He can easily tune stuff out.

If it's chaotic or has fighting/killing in it, he's good to go.

He likes watching Hells Kitchen. He mainly watches to see Gordon yelling in peoples faces and cussing at them; and he does so fantastically. Mostly everyone on there just takes it, still even respecting him after he calls him a donkey. He likes that display of dominance and power; wishing he could do that to random people just to see them cry. But he doesn’t really talk. The only person allowed to hear his voice is you.

Does watch anime and some cartoons with you. But he only likes the ones that are gory and dark; very actiony. He isn’t with the whole, ‘I fight for my friends’ BS. 

Michael is a secure enough guy to admit he likes Bad Girls Club. Just random girls going at it and even getting into fist fight; it’s like the producer knew exactly what he likes. The chaos in the show is unreal. He doesn’t care for the partying and calm moments.

 His favorite BGC girl is Meghan. She beat two bitches, at the same time, down a hallway. No sweat, they barely got a hit on her, and she had a straight face throughout the whole thing. Badass shit.

Give him all the cartoon. Don’t hold back cause he will sit and watch every single one.

One of the only times where he will sit still 

He likes the interactive kids shows like Dora. He will yell at the screen in frustration, as if the characters can hear him. Just let him be.

The one show that always makes the both of you laugh is ed, edd, n eddy. It’s such a classic for you. He likes the random nonsense that goes on. It never gets old and you both watch the episodes over and over again.

Obsessed with DC/Marvel cartoons. If you order him some superhero apparel he will love you forever. His favorite superhero would probably be the flash

They are all over with their tv preferences. They don't really have a genre that they stick to like Brahms.

1000 ways to die was their shit back before they stopped showing it. That show was their gateway into watching liveleak once they discovered it.

I can see them mainly watching mtv/vh1 old school era as they grew up. They would watch the bam margera show religiously.

Stu would like regular show, I feel like it really goes well with his type of humour. Billy would like sitcom shows like boy meets world and fresh prince

Y'all all like watching the real housewives of Atlanta. They don't know why they like it, but it's always entertaining watching real life drama. Also they get to secretly drool over the women in the show. Stu love/hates Nene while Billy likes and respects Kandi.

Ravi Chakrabarti (iZombie, 2015-2019)

- He was born ready, his best friend is a zombie for hecks sake!

- Takes it seriously, his costume is badass.

- I'm seeing him going as an X-Ray machine, bones and everything.

- Either that or something classic, like Michael Meyers.

- He has so so much candy ready for the trick or treaters, and the children love your house because of it.

- Not only do they get full-sized candy bars, but they each get TWO.

Owen Sharma (The Haunting of Bly Manor, 2020)

- Doesn't care for it that much, so he gives candies to the kids who come earlier (5-7pm) and leaves a bowl out

- I see him going as a tomato, and you go as a pepper shaker.

- They're comfortable and practical costumes, and they don't need to match, that's okay!

- The two of you watch The Halloweentown Trilogy before going to bed

Sheriff Hassan el-Shabazz (Midnight Mass, 2021)

- Fuckin' hates Halloween, but makes the best of it for you.

- It was always the worst night of the year when he was on the NYPD, and he can feel the energy shift when people start to get "halloween-y"

- After Crockett, he doubly hates it.

- He'll still wear a bear hat for you. Just to get into the spirit.

- The two of you basically board up the windows and eat candy until the night passes.

- It's usually Real Housewives, or one of those weirdly animated 80s movies that you like so much (The Last Unicorn, The Hobbit, etc.)

Naruto takes that might enrage you (girl addition)

Warning, some of these takes might enrage you- that’s fine.

Fillers don’t count as canon, don’t even bring them up if you talk about this post lol. Also it’s been a while since I’ve seen the whole series, so some of these might be disproven as I continue with my rewatch. The excuse that Shounen is for boys is also very weak and holds no weight, as tons of girls (and nonbinary folk) relate to the characters in this show, so that doesn’t excuse Kishimoto for his weak writing of women.

To preface, I love this show. Love it to pieces. It was part of my childhood and holds a very special place in my heart. But there are some things I personally don’t like or wish could have been done better. I love every character and will go blue in the face talking about how much I still love this show. That doesn’t free it from my criticism. I’m also only listing what I don’t like and what I would change, though I’d be more than happy making a post about what I loved.

Let’s start off with my girl Sakura Haruno. She is easily the most hated girl in the series, and all because of how ‘weak’ or ‘annoying’ she is. As if that’s not the fault of Kishimoto himself lol. She was shoved off to the side continuously and never given cool storylines, unlike the other members of her team.

What I took issue with about Sakura:

-What were this girls dreams?? The whole reason she became a ninja was never really talked about nor were they really developed as time went on. She was all about Sasuke, which would be fine if she grew out of it. But no. 

-Her crush on Sasuke was super stale. He was handsome and powerful, but what else was there to him? He was a jerk to her most of the time (there are some instances he’s somewhat kind to her, but if we go off canon, it’s not enough to make her deep love make sense). I think it would have been so much more interesting to see her grow out of her infatuation for him. If they had to have ended up together, watching them relearn each other and fall in love would have made them more compelling. She stayed loving a boy who thought very little of her. 

-She’s pitted against her best friend and doesn’t develop much of a relationship with other girls her age. It’s kind of sad, and I think they should have fought over something other than a boy. 

-We are told repeatedly that she’s super powerful by other characters, but she’s never given time to truly shine. She got like a single battle with Sasori and she deserved more cool moments like that!

-She was a healer, which makes perfect sense. But why is it mostly girls who are the healers? It’s a bit weird, when there’s also Neji with his perfect chakra control. She only has her healing abilities and her super strength; but even then someone like Kabuto has more offensive healing based techniques than her. Like his chakra scalpel. 

What I would fix:

-New dreams. Show her find a dream outside of her team and grow into it. Also give her more of a backstory. Sai has more of a backstory than she does and he’s way newer than she is.

-I would let her fuck up one of the Peins instead of Konohomaru- she’s a main character and passed over for that little brat?? She should have gotten to do more than scream out for Naruto and heal people :/ 

-She her intellect a bit more. She’s so smart, and yet we don’t really see it.

-She’s perfect for genjutsu, Kakashi himself said so. So why not give that to her? Or play more with ninjutsu. She has earth and water on her chart, so why not give her those abilities? Maybe even wood jutsu to even her out with her super OP teammates. Idk how, it could have happened, this is a show full of demons and god like abilities, it could have happened someway.

-She should have grown out of Sasuke and not married a man who doesn’t really appreciate her and isn’t there for her at all.

-I would totally have expanded on Inner Sakura more. Imagine if it made her mind impenetrable? Could have woven that in with her skills for genjutsu and made her unaffected by other’s illusions.

Next, let’s go with a more beloved character of the fandom. Hinata. Now personally I don’t care much for her- she could have been so cool but just like Sakura, they kind of messed her up.

What I didn’t like about Hinata:

-Her entire existence is revolves around Naruto. Naruto this, Naruto that- and yet she simply sat back and watched as his life was shit and did nothing despite her ‘love’ for him. And then fillers/movies are added to show that oh wait! she’s been there this entire time!! no lol. Build her up from the start as his love interest at the very least.

-She stayed super meek the entire time. Shy girls are okay, but I wanted to see her grow into herself more and not need as much reassurance. She’s a ninja and should stand on her own two feet more.

-She’s less skilled then Neji and I would have loved to see her outmatch him at some point, even once. Or gain abilities outside of her clan, or do something that made a name for herself outside of being the heiress of the Hyuga.

-She never fixed her clan which was one of her few spoken goals. That was a huge bummer.

-I think it would have been cool to see her mess up Pein a little more. She only stepped in because it was Naruto, which reinforces that she’s only about him. But at least let her land a hit if she’s as powerful as people say she is. 

-She makes the most sense to be a housewife or a healer with the way her attitude is but in Boruto, she’s kind of rewritten to be a ‘scary’ mother which just doesn’t fit her. Plus, she tells Boruto to go and take care of his dad?? Bro, that’s your child and your husband is the hokage. 

What I’d fix:

-Prove her dad wrong and show him that her compassion isn’t a weakness but a strength. 

-Fix the Hyuga clan bs.

-More character growth and showing more of her life away from Naruto. Her romance with him could also have been better. I hated her always watching him but never standing up for him, it kills me.

-Neij dying for her proved their clans hierarchy bs to be right and it just doesn’t make sense for him to die for her. It showed that he was right to feel caged and that he simply existed for the benefit of the Main family.

Now with the others, there’s much less I have to say about them because they aren’t main characters or the love interests.

Ino-

-Jealous of Sakura, no dreams of her own, stupidly loves Sasuke and for what? WHAT’S SO COOL ABOUT HIM?

-I like her growth for the most part, it was cool watching her fight in the War Arc with her team. 

-Why is she the medical ninja? I never got that.

-She got with Sai but they didn’t really show their development and how they fell in love with each other. It’s like she only likes him because he looks like Sasuke and called her pretty once.

Tenten-

-Should have gotten to train with Tsunade at some point, since she was the one who originally idolized her. 

-We know nothing about this girl at all. She doesn’t even have a last name.

-Her weapon usage was meant to be so cool and yet she missed so often- there’s a disconnect there. Her abilities could have been built up more. Imagine if no matter what she never ever missed. That would have been cool.

-Her weapon shop isn’t doing well. Just because it’s an era of peace doesn’t mean the need for weapons is totally over, not if there are still active ninja??

Karin-

-I actually like her, she’s kind of funny and I like that she’s mean even if she can get annoying.

-Again, another healer, though she’s also sensory which is more interesting. I’d like to see her with some jutsus though. That would have been neat.

-Her love for Sasuke makes sense since he saved her and smiled at her, making her think of him as her hero. And she’s the only one he apologizes to without Naruto strong arming him into it.

Temari-

-She’s pretty solid in my opinion. Though I would have loved to see her more without her brothers.

Konan-

-Her goals in life were to support Yahiko and Nagito’s dreams. It would irritate me so much if other girls in the series were more well rounded and din’t also have some sort of dream involving a boy.

-She was underused. I would have loved to see her fight more.

Tsunade-

-Only becomes hokage to support others dreams...All of them men. And then later passes the title onto Kakashi who doesn’t even want to be Hokage either. 

-No other justus used, she’s on par with Jiraya and Orochimaru and yet she’s only super strong and the best medic. She should theoretically be more well rounded than that, right? She also should be shown fighting more even if she’s a medic, she’s also s legendary sannin 

-Had to be saved by 12 year old Naruto. I know it’s a show about him, but she’s meant to be a literal badass but needs a kid to save her.

Kushina-

-Wanted to become the first woman hokage and then didn’t. Her husband did. and then she became a housewife?? What?? She should have become the first woman hokage with a badass husband or had another prominent role in the village like as a council member or something.

Kurenai-

-Always lost a fight? She’s some genjutsu using badass but always lost fights.

-No real personality, she’s just chilling there. Sexy as hell though. Has a kid and that’s about it.

-What I will give her is that I’m so glad she was allowed to age. So many anime mothers always look the same as their teenage self and she looks like she can be anybody's mama.

Over all, the girls could have been handled much better. I wouldn’t find issues with any of them being housewives or all about boys if that weren’t what seems to be the standard in the anime. I just wanted more of a variety and better character development, especially for Sakura and Hinata who are the mains 😩

Now to what might REALLY piss people off- ships! I’m not trying to start some war here, this is just my opinion and you can take it or leave it.

Sakura- Naruto, since they had the most development and showed more than two seconds of caring for each other. Even Sai in Shippuden has more of a connection to Sakura than Sasuke did.

Ino-Shikamaru, if she had to end up with a guy it makes sense it’d be him since they spend more time together than her and Sai did. (inosaku for the win tho)

Hinata-Shino or Kiba, again, because they spent more time with her. Naruto and her felt very rushed and I don’t quite understand the appeal.

The one that made the most sense and became canon was Shikatem, though their son’s design was lazy :D 

If I do a second part, it’ll be about the boys and the ships with them that made sense to me. For now, this is all I have. If you’ve made it this far, thank you lol

Give me a character and I will answer:

Why I like them: In the beginning, like anime season one, I didn’t think much of her beyond, ah, another tsundere character. But Izumo is probly my favorite amongst the human characters besides Shima and Lewin bc she had Rin’s back from the start and didn’t let the opinions/peer pressure of the others sway her from telling them they were being dumb. I appreciate her bluntness and love her aesthetic in general (demon-possessed kitsune Izumo was SO GOOD).

Why I don’t: She’s still a little generic tsundere to me. I think she has a lot of growth potential I hope Kato explores more.

Favorite episode (scene if movie): Definitely the possessed by Inari scene, it was such good heartbreak for her.

Favorite season/movie: Illuminati arc, though this seems given, considering the whole focus was on her this one lololol

Favorite line: “Some people go on about defeating Satan and making friends but chicken out when it counts. I hate cowards like that.”--Just let em have it, Izumo XD

Favorite outfit: That casual purple sweater with the tank top under it and leggings was such a look tbh. I want to go out and get one like it XD

OTP: If I ship her with anyone it’s Rin or Shiemi. Both are for similar reasons. She just brings out the confidence in them and they in her.

Brotp: Again, her and Rin, though it’s been fun to see her with Bon these recent chapters. And Amaimon would be perfect if they’d had the chance to interact more.

Head Canon: I tend to have that she’s got latent demonic instincts in her bc of her ancestry. They’re diluted, but she still “gets” demons and their reactions better than the pure humans.

Unpopular opinion: I know she’s come far from the stand-offish tsundere, but she doesn’t seem to have had the same growth the other main cast has.

A wish: She gets to meet her sister again at some point.

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: Not sure I have one for her. Maybe not getting together with Shima? Not that I couldn’t see it explored in fic form, but not canon. Also I really hope Kato doesn’t pull a Kishimoto and end it on the ladies of the cast retiring to become housewives while the guys go on to be badasses :|

Just because it’s been on my mind, here’s some of my unpopular or at least maybe somewhat controversial FMA opinions. Just for fun. Putting it under a read more because it’s kind of long and I also don’t know how to make things short and simple at all, lmao. 

-I find Greed smoking to be very unattractive. I find it unattractive in general, anyways. I know he smokes in 03, and it may be implied in the manga, idk, but I just grew up to despise cigarettes due to how I grew up and I just...the smell...the way it discolors things and sticks to things... I love Greed but he’d just have to keep it outside, away from me, lmao. 

-I find Ling/Greedling to be more attractive than first Greed. There, I said it. I love Greed. First Greed is very attractive, don’t get me wrong. But I’ll be honest...when I first watched FMA, he really was not my type. Not quite pretty boy enough for me, I guess. After I got to know his character later on...he naturally became more attractive to me. But I still have a bias towards the overall Greedling look. That’s totally my type. 

-I know some people see the slapstick in FMA as glorifying abuse, but I think that’s a stretch. I don’t think Winry is automatically an abusive wife because of the slapstick in the series. Going by Arakawa’s works, she seems to enjoy using physical slapstick a lot. Maybe physical slapstick is not something that should ever be used for comedic purposes, but it happens in so many cartoons that it seems to be kind of the norm. It personally doesn’t bother me, and I can see where it my bother some, but I don’t think it’s something Arakawa or her characters should necessarily be condemned for. 

-I don’t think the reason that the fandom seems more saddened by the Nina situation and Hughes’ death than the Ishvalan genocide is necessarily because the fans are racist. Nina and Hughes were named characters the viewers got to see and maybe even get attached to. They were also personal to Edward’s story and experience. Yes, the Ishvalan genocide is definitely a greater tragedy, but it happened pre-series, and there weren’t any Ishvalan characters shown who died in the genocide for people to get attached to beforehand. It’s kind of like watching an anime where lot’s of people die, but lot’s of those people are background no-name characters. Of course people are going to care more the named characters that were established in the story. That said, I’m most saddened by Greed’s death above all else in the series. Yes, I realize the genocide was worse, but Greed was a character that I love and feel attachment to. It’s just that simple to me. 

-It’s okay to be a Kimblee fan. Liking villainous characters who are all around bad people is totally okay. It’s different if someone is excusing their actions. Envy literally killed an Ishvalan child with no remorse. He’s still pretty loved. I like Envy as a character, but he/they’re still a pretty remorseless piece of lizard dung. 

-The thing with Nina doesn’t make me as sad as most people. I knew about it way before watching the anime and it’s been memed so much that I feel unaffected by it at this point. 

-I think Roy and Riza are inherently good people at heart and don’t deserve to suffer/die/be unhappy for the rest of their lives because of what they did in Ishval. They’re working hard to make things better and help the Ishvalans, and that speaks volumes to me. 

-I’m neutral on whether Roy should have stayed blind or not. Either way, I’m fine with it. I can see both sides of the argument though. 

-Lan Fan isn’t as bad or flat of a character as some people may think. The anime missed out on a big part of her character development, though granted it’s because her Japanese VA couldn’t be available to do those parts. It’s understandable, life happens, but it’s still kind of disappointing. Also, she’s not just some obsessed Ling fangirl. She doesn’t even act that way. She’s protective of him mainly because it’s what she was raised to do. That said I totally think she loves him and Lingfan is beautiful. 

-The color blindness thing with Ed and Miles was poorly executed. I won’t lie. But I can also see where it came from and can understand where Arakawa/dub script writers/etc may have thought it was “progressive” or “good.” I myself used to think that was a good way of thinking until I learned better. Also, I think the dub did make it sound worse than it was originally intended, but it may have still been a bit...eehhh beforehand. I get where it’s a flaw that shouldn’t be ignored, but I don’t think Arakawa/the series should be dragged for it either. Good intentions, poorly worded/executed. 

-I can see Ling being bi/pan, even het. Not so much gay. 

-I don’t see the Win/Fan ship so much. I get where it would be interesting if they actually had some meaningful interaction in the show, but they didn’t. In theory maybe I could see it? But I usually don’t pay much attention to ships that don’t have a lot of canon backing/heavy interactions. So it’s probably just a personal preference for shipping. 

-I’ve said this before, but I really don’t like the idea that Ling went back to Xing, took his 50 wives, had babies with them, and continued the same twisted system that’s hurting his country. It does’t align with the fact he said he’d accept all the other clans and not continue the clan wars. 

-Adding to that, I don’t like when people say Lingfan CAN’T happen because Ling MUST take these wives and have a bunch of babies, and he has no choice in the matter, or he wants to keep the 50 wives system for some reason (because he wants trophy wives??Idk?) Or you know, because Lan Fan is a guard and it would never be allowed. No one knows for sure what happened after he went back. Lingfan could totally happen...or not. No need to shatter hopes.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

-Not saying fma is some ultra feminist series or feminist at all (not intended to be at least), but I think the female characters are in general well rounded and have different things they do in their lives, and that makes it feel more realistic. We have badass fighters, leaders, guards, housewives (nothing wrong with being a housewife if that’s what someone wants), mothers, mechanics, etc. It may not be perfect but the reason it gets praised so much for female characters is that it does them better than a lot of anime. Could it be better? Yes. But there are those that claim that FMA is just so misogynistic that it may have well been written by a man (I’ve seen this)...and well...can’t agree at all. It’s pretty well handled considering cultural context. 

-03 and Brotherhood are good in their own ways. I prefer Brotherhood a million times over (plus the manga!) for my own reasons (Ling and Greed’s development are huge reasons why) but sometimes the hate for 03 gets a little out of hand. A lot of people hate it only for not following the manga and characterizing the characters a bit differently. However, that was a part of the point. It was supposed to be different. And Arakawa herself approved of it and loved it (also if anyone thinks they “took her work and bastardized it” she wanted them to make it different). The 03 vs BH comparison arguments are so tiring and pointless. Actually when I see people who think 03 is so superior and constantly put down Brotherhood, it actually at times made me feel bad for preferring BH (because I’m insecure), and drove me further away from 03. I also know that 03 fans have to deal with people crapping all over their favorite series far more than BH fans do, so it’s all annoying. 

-There should be more FMA Pokemon aus. The characters with Pokemon teams. I’m always a slut for Pokemon. 

-Greed has a good heart. (Is this unpopular? Probably not, but adding it anyways)

-Ling is a good-hearted caring person who would try to do the best for his country and people and make it a better place. (Probably not unpopular, just have to say it. 

-Ling and Greed, at the end of the day, are wonderful people, no matter their flaws. 

-okay these opinions are becoming less unpopular so it’s time to stop.

Star Sightings: Yara Shahidi Gets in Festival Mode, Kelly Clarkson Fangirls Over Justin Timberlake & More!

Happy festival season! Tons of celebs flocked to Indio, California, for week one of the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, rocking their best desert queen gear to celebrate the beloved two-weekend event.  Though Yara Shahidi couldn't make it this year -- "I'm a little too short to see everything, which I realized there last year, so I'm just living vicariously through all my friends that went." she told ET -- the Grown-ish star did chat about her fave looks at the Teva Festival Season Styling Suite at Mama Shelter in Los Angeles on April 18, and she admitted that it was always tough to figure out what to wear throughout the festival. "I think a lot of it is about function," she mused to ET. "Sure, look cute -- pastel and glitter and all of it -- but I feel like when I was there, you’re out in the sun for hours at a time, so I ran into the problem of not being able to find the perfect outfit because it’s like, 'Am I cold right now? Do I want to carry a jacket with me? Do I want to wear heels in the grass? You can’t do that! It’s a special kind of talent... I literally live in sandals." And though they're still finding out what will happen to her character, Zoey, on the second season of Grown-ish, Shahidi is counting down the days till production starts up again. "We start shooting in the fall. I'm just really pumped because who knows where Zoey starts? I'm really excited to watch her go to class. I think she'll maybe have more than one this year!" she said. "The way season one ended, she's in a relationship now and she has other things to explore, which I'm really excited for."
