not to pity the high five club or whatever but it kinda sounds like their cleric died and they reinvented themselves in the individual images of the kids who famously beefed it in the cafeteria day 1 and who's principal committed a murder suicide to resurrect. Like, yeah, WE know the bad kids have paid for that help every day of their high school lives by being called on over and over to save the world, but. What the rat grinders know is that someone they spent a minimum of 3 hours with every day killing rats literally fucking died and aguefort didn't even reprint the yearbook to put them on an actual page. I'd be pissed about favoritism, too

honestly echo is probably going to die heroically in the next two episodes. he's not with rex, gregor, and wolffe in rebels, he's not with the greater rebellion, and Echo Base exists.

what i'm more curious about is when cody gets his own heroic sacrifice. he's not with rex and he's not with obi wan, so unless he also fell in a sarlacc or got carbonited, he's definitely dead.

anyways, the last episode's title is The Cavalry Has Arrived. and who could be a more fitting "cavalry" than Cody?

pat in episode 5, waking up in pran's room (which he platonically sad puppy-dogged his way into), stealing his breakfast, hanging out there when pran leaves, getting pran's computer password and looking through old pictures of the two of them together that pran has apparently saved in a folder pat just happens to run across, and then venturing into hostile territory (the architecture wing of the university) to bring pran a usb stick he asked for while wearing pran's shirt because he thinks pran smells so good, where ink catches them while pat is trying to push his face into pran's shoulder to take a sniff at the source and she says directly to pat's face that there's a lovey-dovey aura around them: ha, what, no! i don't even need to consider that because i have a heterosexual crush on you, ink :)

Thinking about how in Flondon there are canonically multiple people on the Boat Man's boat at once. It's not just you and the Reaper in a slow boat passing a dark beach on a silent river, there's ????? other people there too and they can see you. Is it like unspoken public transportation rules where you just Don't Talk To Each Other? Do they chat while waiting in line to play chess or something? If too many people die at once that day does the boat just. Get bigger?? Or do you get left on the shore until the next round? What if you recognise people there. What if you're stuck in limbo with some guy you have beef with, or you get to chill with a friend who somehow happened to die the same day, or (knowing Flondon) you have to make conversation with your Inescapable Aunt the whole time. Just sounds like infinite comedic potential to me

It’s just—sometimes she wonders if he doesn’t fully understand said unique situation. 

Buck told her about Christopher—hell, he practically gushes about that kid in a way Natalia has to admit is kind of adorable—she’s not really thought much about wanting kids herself but it’s more than clear to her that Buck was meant to be a father. 

She has to admit that when she first met the kid it was—a little weird in the moment, having attempted for the second—and last—time to surprise Buck by just showing up to his apartment and finding him in the middle of a baking explosion and being laughed at by a twelve year old sitting at the counter who had somehow managed to avoid being covered in flour despite the thin layer seemingly coating the entire kitchen—Buck included. 

But after the initial shock and mild to moderate weirdness, and the introductions—Christopher had been incredibly polite in comparison to Natalia’s limited previous interactions with pre-teens—it just felt—right for Christopher to be there, with Buck, giggling as Buck admittedly made a bit of a fool out of himself while making a definitely too complicated loaf of bread. 

Buck was good with him, and it was clear that Christopher was completely comfortable being around Buck without his dad there. 

And that’s the other thing—Christopher’s dad—Eddie.

Every time I see those posts about the AO3 F/F to M/M ratios, all I can think is:

Okay, excellent point. But what if you just wrote it?

Like. Yeah, man, I'm sure it's discouraging to see raw numbers talking about how your ship doesn't get the rep it needs. But when you get down to numbers... sometimes the difference within fandoms is less than 500 more M/M works than F/F works. That's actionable. You can fill that gap with a fraction of the people liking / reblogging posts about F/F erasure.

Sometimes the gap is bigger. It's like, 1000 more works are tagged M/M. 2000, or more. Yeah, that's a big gap, but you could make it one less. If every person liking or reblogging a post about the disparity of ship fics on AO3, that number would shrink drastically, or outright disappear.

IDK. I write F/F. I write M/M too, as well as M/F. But I write F/F, and when I see that sorta post. It doesn't feel like a call to action. It feels like somehow, in some way, I'm not doing enough when I post up fanfiction for free about stuff I like.

It makes me feel like I should stop sharing my F/F work, that it doesn't matter, that people don't recognize the effort or love or time that goes into it. Even beyond that, I feel discouraged about the work I have put out, because thousands of words written all about an F/F pairing are only seen in that raw stat format.

"There's X M/M fics and Y F/F fics." Yes, I know, and that has to suck. But look at how many people wrote F/F fics! Have you commented on each of those F/F fics? Have you given kudos? Did you feel inspired to write or draw because of those F/F fics? That's what fandom is for. That's why we create. If that's not inspiring you to "close the gap" on those stats, I don't know what to say.

LMAO unfortunately they weren’t even intended on ever meeting!!! they were the first three sonic ocs i ever made which was like only in may, n that was before i suddenly got obsessed with makin’ the sol dimension ocs. so now i just have three random-ass ocs that have no connection to anything

now i wish they were a trio tho sjfjwjfje the roller-skater n wandering musician would probably get along ‘cause they’re both just there to have a good time n can’t fight, but the cowboy isn’t a fan of kids n they fight bad guys/whoever they get paid to fight for a living, so they’d probably hate the other two lmaodjsjf
