Diluc had the brains that could combat Crepus in chess matches and a heart of gold that would occasionally shine thru.

Diluc was so much like Crepus.

It must be awful for Diluc to keep seeing that.

Kaeya, however... Kaeya can't help but feel a bit jealous anyway.

When Kaeya looks in the mirror, he gripes at the fact that he doesn't have anything that could remind him of Crepus at all. All he had was blue hair instead of red, eyes with stars that are telling of a cursed civilization, and bony hands that get cold quickly.

Kaeya was nimble and quick, with words that could be like flowers for one instance and poison in the next.

All Alberich and no Ragnvindr.

He doesn't hate his birth father, but some days, he can't help but wish he was a bit more like man who took such good care of him instead.

i have several drafts from back in january comparing some of my old man yaoi ™️ ships which i decided against posting at the time because, quite frankly, they were thoughts no one would appreciate but me. two of the ships i know have some overlap, but the third didn't fit. a different genre. too niche.

but, with a new deadpool movie out and other ppl seeing the buggy parallels, i might as well get this off my chest:

shuggy is cablepool.

(not movieverse cablepool, to be clear. (i enjoy movieverse cable but he is not my mutant messiah.) comics cablepool.)

the dynamic is eerily similar:

we have an occasionally slapstick murderclown with obvious issues about the unusual way he looks, who presents himself as only having selfish motives but is (sometimes) lying about that, is very hard to kill, is disliked by ppl who have to work with him and popular with and beloved by ppl who don't both in-universe and out!

and his ex-bestie, a massively overpowered would-be martyr who is missing a flesh arm, has three scars over one eye, whose continued fondness for the murderclown post-breakup baffles everyone around him (murderclown included), and who refuses to elaborate on his motives for doing shady shit (including manipulating our beloved murderclown) except that he's doing everything for the sake of the future

like. tell me that's not them.

out of curiousity, have you ever read d.gray man? Not really a recc or anything cuz it has a lot of flaws even if it has really compelling stuff esp late game, but if you had i'm kind of curious what you would think about it

I read it in middle school and I think I really liked levi (?) (the redhead guy) and then he disappeared forever and I fell off. that’s all I remember

this is adorable. also sedric better hold onto this man tight because carson fell for sedric while he was like bedridden paranoid and miserable. sedric this comes as a surprise to the both of us the difference is i knew it was happening. im just pleasantly surprised to see how sweet and genuine he is about it. like he doesnt just have a thing for you man he likes you. and frankly sedric neither of us can see why he likes you right now but im gonna chalk that up to your pov bias and say go for it

Jason hadn't been happy when he'd heard there were not one but 2 new robins after he died, something in him hated it and he knew what that something was even if he wouldn't admit it. He felt abandoned, he died and Bruce had replaced him. He was trying to move past it though. It wasn't Tim or Emma's fault that he'd died, that Bruce had just replaced him. Plus, besides how annoying Tim was and how cagy Emma seemed he could spot a former street kid when he saw one they didn't seem to bad. Not that he'd admit that out loud.

That line of thinking was what had him jumping down and butting in when a whole group of goons seemed to come out of nowhere after Batman had run after his real target. From what he'd seen the kid would have been able to handle the few that's originally been there, 15? Probably not so much. “Why are you still out? Isn't it past Alfred's curfew limit?” The Butler couldn't make Bruce sleep worth shit, but he normally made sure he had kids home in time to get sleep before school.

I really expressed this before but it's kinda sad I didn't find DSaF back when my sibling issues were at their peak bc I'd have been like straight up Branded if I met this guy who is a middle child and is rotting and has a strained relationship with his older brother and used to have to take care of his little sister who on top of everything is a redhead and 6 years old and is extremely guilty but also can have an awful relationship with her like my ass wouldn't have survived brother. My ass would have never came back.

just felt like uploading some of my old dolls from the candybar doll maker on elouai (i think?) i had no clue how to save these as working gifs in 2006 but i've kept the static images for years. wish i could make and save better versions now but elouai seems to be down atm :(
