It’s another Wendy situation 😭😭😭 Yesung’s a beautiful singer, but God do I hate ballads. Between & Confession (which, you guessed it! Are the only non ballads) were the only two that really caught my ear, unfortunately.

A song by song review can be found underneath the cut. My favorite track is Between. My least favorite tracks are We, Your Echo, and My Dear.

Plot 3 - The Forgotten Ones (Os Esquecidos):

Sinopse:

 "Quando as irmãs A e B, filhas de "personagem de desenho" e "personagem de desenho" de "qualquer conto de fadas que desejar", descobrem que, tanto elas quanto outros filhos de alguns personagens de outros contos, não foram aprovados para entrar na Escola de Auradon elas decidem se vingar e fazer Auradon pagar por terem esquecidos deles. Afinal, Auradon se esqueceu deles, mas elas não esqueceram disso tão cedo. " 

Essa fanfic era uma fanfic interativa e era baseada em Descendentes. Pode continuar ela como interativa ou não. Pode ser baseada em Once Upon A Time ou qualquer fandom ou ser original. Fica a seu critério... Manter o título (pode traduzir), pois se trata de personagens esquecidos do churrasco no mundo da animação como Anastasia, O Corcunda de Notre Dame, etc.

Plot 4 - In A Flash (Em Um Flash):

 "Personagem A, uma semideusa filha de "qualquer deus grego (não obrigatório), viaja para Central City com seus pais no período de férias. Ela se sente deslocada, mas logo acaba fazendo amizade com a personagem B e "qualquer super herói". 

Além de vários encontrões com "super herói", personagem A vai se apaixonar por "nome verdadeiro do super herói (ex: Clark Kent)", mesmo não sabendo que ele é o "nome do herói" (ex: Superman).

Essa fanfic era uma fanfic na categoria Flash que fazia crossover com Percy Jackson. Você pode continuar com o crossover ou não, fica a seu critério. Essa fanfic é recomendada pra categoria de super heróis como o próprio Flash, Aquaman, Batman, etc. Ou um universo alternativo. Pode ser usado para casais canônicos de série que nem WestAllen, Selina e Bruce, etc.

Plot 11 - Evanesce:

"Miyeon tem uma paixão por Yesung, porém os dois são que nem gato e rato: um dia são amigos, no outro dia estão pegando no pé um do outro; Minnie e Heechul namoraram por 4 anos e do amor apenas o ódio restou e ela não suporta ele até hoje; Taeyeon e Leeteuk já tiveram um affair também, mas a distância os separou, isso não significa que eles pararam de pensar um no outro; Dara e Donghae são amigos há muito tempo, mas será que isso vai se tornar algo há mais?; a tensão sexual de Hana e Eunhyuk você pode cortar com uma faca; Tiffany e Siwon também já se conheciam, porém nunca sentiram algo tão forte assim antes; Seohyun e Kyuhyun namoram antes dele entrar pro exército, porém ninguém sabe desse namoro exceto os membros de cada banda; Yeri e Ryeowook há anos tem crush um no outro e todo mundo sabe disso, mas Yeri tem medo de relacionamentos; e Hyoyeon está de casamento marcado, porém está tendo dúvidas sobre se casar. Como é muito personagem então deixei a sinopse original mesmo kkkkkkkkkkkkkk Essa fanfic era baseada em alguns casais Super Generation e era da categoria do SUJU e personagens originais. Serve para fanfics de kpop (principalmente com grupos com vários membros), com foco em relacionamentos, tinha outros assuntos polêmicos que nem relacionamento no kpop e sassaengs, etc. Pode mudar o título. Indicada para interativas, mas pode-se fazer como uma fic normal.

Plot 12 - Jurassic Dragons:

“Personagem A sempre foi apaixonada por dragões e hoje em dia é bastante reconhecida por ser uma treinadora de dragões. Quando Personagem A vai viajar para (país de sua escolha) ela encontra Personagem B, e os dois têm uma conexão na hora.Só que ele tem uma tarefa: resgatá-la das garras do (insira o nome de algum vilão/monstro)."

Essa fic era uma trilogia dos filmes Jurassic World, eu decidi apagar por conta do necroso do Pratt. Essa fific pode ainda ser do mundo Jurassic Park, histórias sobrenaturais, monstros, etc. Pode mudar o título.

Plot 18 - Midnight Horror Memories:

“Londres. Capital de Inglaterra e Reino Unido e que mantinha uma das maiores faculdades do mundo: a Universidade de Londres. Com isso todo ano a mesma recebia novos rostos com o sonho de brilhar no seu futuro emprego. E não é diferente para Harry, Liam, Louis, Niall e Zayn. Cada um com seu sonho. Até que descobrem algo poderoso e maligno dentro da faculdade que pode mudar suas vidas para sempre....”

Fanfiction antes com o One Direction baseada na série japonesa da Netflix Alice in Borderland. Todos os meninos tinham super poderes, tipo Darwin 's Game, um anime que também está na Netflix. Vou fazer uma fific apenas com minha personagem original de AIB, solo ou com algum par, ainda não sei. Mas fique a vontade para pegar o plot. Plot 20 - Nossos destinos se congelaram no tempo:

“Ha Joon sofreu um acidente misterioso há 4 anos atrás e é até considerada morta por alguns. Flashes e borrões de sua vida são constantes, memórias que ela não sabe se são memórias ou não. Depois de muito tempo ela volta com sua tia e sua prima para Seul com novas identidades, mas por quanto tempo isso irá durar? E quem é o belo estranho?”

Essa fanfic é uma mistura dos Doramas Iris II e o plot da personagem que era mãe adotiva da protagonista do Dorama A Lenda Um Luxo de Sonhar. O título foi pego numa doação de títulos da minha amiga Ingrid, então mantenha o título ou mudar conforme o tema da fanfic.

Plot 21 - The Underground:

Passaram se anos desde que os X-Men venceram os Inumanos, em uma guerra para impedi-los de lançar as bombas de terrígeno que até então estava assolando a população mutante,os Inumanos agora não lançam mais as nevoas terrígenas.E os mutantes por todo o mundo estão a salvo.Porem o governo dos Estados Unidos tem uma pequena amostra do conteúdo químico da terrigênese,e pretende lançar bombas toxicas no mundo inteiro para acabar com os mutantes, porem mutantes infiltrados no governo alertaram aos X-Men do perigo que os 1534 mutantes existentes no planeta corriam,o Doutor Hank McCoy(mais conhecido por seu alter ego Fera) descobriu um jeito de prevenir os mutantes deste desastre.Um tipo de atmosfera que transmite um ar diferenciado, que pode “cortar“ do ar a terrigênese porem nem todos os mutantes,poderão ser salvos, apenas os que estiverem expostos ao ar criado por fera, foram distribuídos capsulas de ar para o Instituto Xavier,Utopia,Genosha e Ilha Muir atualmente os X-Men estão convocando mutantes de todos os lugares com o pretexto de que estão reabrindo as vagas, entre estes mutantes estão os filhos dos Fabulosos X-Men sera que a nova equipe,formada por Lorna(mais conhecida por seu alter ego Polaris) e Alex Summers (conhecido por seu alter ego Destrutor),irá salvar a população mutante de um Genocídio?

Essa fanfic era uma fanfic X-Men que eu tinha com um colega na época e flopou kkkkkkkkk ela era uma interativa. She wasn’t in the first dance rehearsal because of a fansign she had.

They showed clips of her getting ready and clips of her during the fansign

The clip with block b, the boys greeted her with high fives and head pats bc they worked with bangtan before

They put her sitting on the floor in front of Hyorin

The clip with Yesung, she was extra shy bc Yesung was her suju bias. Tiffany said it out loud

All the unnies looked in the direction of the two. They watched her laugh and were about to go up to her, but Jessi and Hyorin stopped them. Yoonmi and Mark walked off in a different direction.

After watching Tiffany’s pre-recording, they watched Yoonmi’s for fire.

“Yah, she’s really different on stage,” Hyorin noted. “I have to learn from her.”

“Of course, she’s doing amazing.”

She wasn’t in the meeting for outfit concepts because she was in Northern Europe (bon voyage filming)

She actually wasn’t in the filming at all.

They showed a clip of Jessi working with Yoonmi for the rap through facetime.

She recorded her parts before everyone else because her schedule was full.

JYP Had her sing the whole song for clearer guide vocals, as well.

She had one free day between promotions and when she left for North America, that’s when she recorded

so when the girl’s heard her voice instead of JYP’s, they showed the clips of her recording.

When Jessi and Tiffany were apologizing to the pds, she also did, knowing her schedule for June was hectic with festa and her solo debut coming up

They made her go after Tiffany, so she did the dance. She hesitated before one part a little. No one noticed but her, Tiffany, and JYP

“Miya, you did well, but don’t hesitate, okay? I know this is different from what you’re used to with Bangtan, but I know you can do it. Good job with learning the choreography.”

She couldn’t make it to the shoot with S.E.S. because she flew to Jeju to shoot her mv (not that anyone knew)

She was shookt when the dancers came in bc

“CHANNIE OPPA!”

The unnies asked her who he was. “He’s a close oppa i trained with before. Now he’s like my brother.”

They exchanged looks like sharing an inside joke, but moved on bc JYP came in. They did the evaluations, and she didn’t hear much from JYP.

They listened to the finished song, and she was hiding herself behind Jessi bc shy

JYP started the next step of the choreography! Dancing with the guys. “Yoonmi-ah, I brought Chan in so you don't feel uncomfortable.”

She did a high five with Chan then turned her attention back to JYP

It was a mess of a run, but she and Chan did it with no problem

She walked in wearing a black skirt that looked like it was laced together at the side, a black fitted crop top, a black cropped denim jacket, and black boots with chunky heels.

They were told to make hot pink points.

“Yoonmi, maybe hot pink accessories?��

She sat and watched in amusement while the older unnies discussed the mv concept

She ended up staying and practicing the choreography with the girls even if it was late. She helped direct the choreography practice with Tiffany.

The practices the next day went mostly smoothly

Then it was mv filming day

She appeared at the location in the same outfit as before but with the modifications suggested.

“This is so weird.”

The filming passed by, and she was shown giving her notes on what she noticed could be improved to the director.

“Channie oppa keeps looking at me weird and saying it’s strange to see my working side.” Jessi in the background nodding along in agreement.

“Yoonmi-ah, facial expressions, okay? Don’t be shy about this being a different concept.”

When they were joking about Miran being a female boss, they said Yoonmi and Chan were her kids.

While Tiffany and Hyorin were on one side messing around with the poles, she was on the bar showing Chan and Jessi tricks meant for the balance beam in gymnastics

She was actively helping direct the girls and talking to the directors throughout the shoot. She helped Tiffany and Jessi direct the solo shots on the poles (Tiffany blocked her eyes when Jessi went and when Jinkyung was doing weird stuff)

She did her solo shots sitting on the bar table and acting a bit more on the cute mischievous side compared to her sexy unnies

They even had her do a few walkovers and cartwheels just because they could

They prepared for the next scene where she was acting as a part-time server

She bowed at Junho with a smile before following Tiffany up the stairs

They took a jacket photo first where she was placed up on the counter leaning back to back with Jinkyung.

Super Junior (슈퍼주니어) - SORRY, SORRY (쏘리 쏘리)

This week’s rec is one of my absolute favourites: Super Junior’s SORRY, SORRY! 

Quick ramble before we get into this: when this song released back in 2009, it was the first time I ever listened to a ‘kpop’ song. I’m not even kidding when I say that this song and entire album was a game changer for me. This was my stepping stone into kpop and, consequently, Korean culture and it really does mean a lot for me! Like, bruh can you even believe that March 2021 will mark me down for being a fan of Korean music for over 12 YEARS. This is honestly such a classic kpop song, as well as being one of the most well known in my opinion.

SORRY, SORRY was released March 3rd, 2009 as a digital single before coming the title track of their 3rd studio album of the same name. The song was their comeback as a complete group since their activities as subgroup in Mainland China and South Korea in 2008. It was Super Junior’s most successful single on the music charts and won them a sum total of 10 recognitions throughout their promoting period.

SORRY, SORRY was a new style for Super Junior, a dance song stimulated with heavy electronic beats in the genre known as ‘urban minimal funky’, and unlike their previous releases. It’s a ‘polished and trendy’ dance song, with an exciting beat and earworm chorus, with influences of American funk and contemporary R&B.

This song was an international hit, though not as we may know it today. Rather, it became the best selling k-pop album in Taiwan, Thailand, China and the Philippines, where they credited Sorry, Sorry to have been the first k-pop album to reach number one in the music charts from the country. It was an instant hit, and stayed number one in Taiwan for an astounding 37-weeks in their k-pop singles chart. Sorry, Sorry achieved both national and international success and this has been their best-selling single in South Korea since.

For fans too, who had been waiting for a return of all 13 members, this was an exciting (if not bittersweet) moment for them, as this marked the last time they came together as a full group again before two members, Hangeng and Kibum, left the group.

Outside of South Korea, SORRY, SORRY, was heavily promoted in other Asian communities. Over 51 subway trains in Taipei were covered in Sorry, Sorry advertisements from April 17th through to May 7th, to promote the Taiwanese release which came out on April 17th. Among these trains was one called the Super Junior Train, which was entirely covered with Super Junior posters.

Not only that, but this song had a big cultural impact, the dance having been covered many times not just by idols, but professional sports players as well. In April 2009, volleyball player Kim Yeonkoung from Heungdeuk Life stated if her team won the 2008-09 NH Nonghyup professional volleyball championship, they would perform the routine. They won and performed this at the award ceremony. Football player Kim Seungyong danced to Sorry, Sorry after scoring a goal against Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma in the 2009 K League. Basketball players have danced to it at the Dongbu Promy Professional Basketball season awards ceremony too, an event which marked the end of the season in professional basketball league.

The honour guard of the South Korean Air Force has danced to Sorry, Sorry (alongside Gee by SNSD) ahead of the groundbreaking ceremony of Airforce Museum at Sanjicheon, Jeju City. Employees of Korean Air created a parody group called 직장인 슈퍼주니어 (jikjjangin super junior) which literally translates to Office Workers Super Juniors, and performed the choreography at an in-house concert held at the Korean Air HQ.

Finally, in the Philippines, a video of inmates known as the CPDRC Dancing Inmates, from the Cebu Provinvial Detention and Rehabilitation Centre, dancing to the song went viral after being uploaded to YouTube.

Super Junior was originally a 12-member group formed under SM Entertainment in November 2005. They debuted with their single Twins (Knock Out). They later became a 13-member group when their youngest, Cho Kyuhyun, was added in May 2006, in line with their release U. Known by other nicknames such as SJ or SuJu, Super Junior have been dubbed by the media and the Korean Music Awards as the Kings of the Hallyu Wave due to their prominent contributions in the Korean wave.

With the release of Sorry, Sorry, their best-selling single, they launched into international recognition. Throughout the years of their career, they have been divided into smaller groups, being able to target different music industries and audiences at the same time. The members have all individually branched out into other Entertainment Industry roles such as hosting, presenting and acting. Due to their success and popularity as all-rounded entertainers, they have led other Korean entertainment companies to begin training their groups in other aspects of the entertainment industry, rather than just singing, dancing and rapping.

These other groups included: Super Junior-M, their Chinese sub-unit. Super Junior-T, their Trot sub-unit, Super Junior-H, their ‘Happy’ sub-unit. Two other more recent sub-units are Super Junior K.R.Y - Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung, their ballad sub-unit, and finally - my personal favourite - Super Junior D&E, comprised of Donghae & Eunhyuk, main dancers and best friends within the group, who cover a myriad of genres in comparison.

As it stands right now, Super Junior have only 9 active members left in their group. In 2009, Hangeng filed a lawsuit against SM, which saw him stop promoting until he finally left the company in 2011. Kibum also took a step back from the group in 2009, opting to focus more on his acting career through a temporary hiatus. Though he appeared in the MV for Sorry, Sorry, and was featured in promotional adverts for their upcoming concert Super Show 2, he did not attend. His contract ended with SM in 2015. Kangin left in 2019, following another DUI incident.

Though Sungmin has not been classified as left and his contract with SM is still active, he has been on hiatus since 2015.

I got so excited when you mentioned Yesung and his eyes (they're so pretty omg), like you said, there's barely any sub!suju content here, and It's so frustrating I MEAN LOOK AT THEM I kinda get why people see them as doms, but baby you're just blind if you're not seeing the sub potential here kshwjd.
