"Carisi has a crush, Carisi has a crush~~" Rollins teased in a sing-song voice once the ruthless ADA, (and Sonny's aforementioned crush) Rafael Barba had left earshot.
"I don't have a crush!!" The other exclaimed defensively. Ok, maybe he had a tiny crush on the ADA, but who wouldn't?? Especially with those fierce forest green eyes and the way they twinkled on the rare occasion that he laughed, or his pretty little "I'm Winning" Smirk that only showed up in court, but that Sonny would pay to see.
"Yeah and you didn't just stare at and flirt with Barba for..." She checked her watch "Half an hour" She snorted, poking at Carisi's side.
"I wasn't staring I was... being an attentive listener" He stated, hoping that his excuse would get the other detective to leave him alone about this.
"Right, so you weren't staring straight at his lips the whole time" She said skeptically, raising one eyebrow up. He'd seen her use this tactic in interrogations, but it wouldn't work on him, not today at least.
"I wasn't staring at his lips!!"
Yes he was.
"And the flirting?" She inquired.
"He was flirting with me and i was being polite. How do you know that its he who's crushing on me and not the other way around? Check and Mate" He smirked, crossing his arms.
"What ever you say tough guy" Rollins snorted before going back to her work.

Unbeknownst to either detective, Rafael Barba was in fact crushing on Sonny Carisi. Somehow the lanky detective had wormed his way into his heart, with his absolutely kissable lips, bright blue eyes, and those god damn dimples that would certainly be the death of him. But, sadly, Rafael was pretty sure that Sonny was straight, as he'd always seen him flirting with women at NYPD parties that he was encouraged (forced) to attend.
Although this knowledge didn't prevent his heart from melting as a result of Carisi's laugh or the way he was constantly leaning over things, giving Barba a nice view of his ass. It also didn't stop him from being slightly jealous when he caught someone else eyeing those long perfect legs, connected to that perfect ass. Still, he acted professional, he kept his feelings under wraps, he willed himself to look away whenever Carisi leaned over something (Most of the time), like he did literally every time Barba visited the precinct, and he never actively sought him out unless it was pertinent to the current case. He was slightly afraid of his feelings for the detective getting the better of him. His train of thought was cut off as Carmen entered his office to say
"Mr Barba, Detective Carisi's here to see you"
Sonny walked in as Carmen was leaving and he flashed the ADA one of those award winning smiles that Rafael couldn't get enough of.
"Good evening Detective, what brings you here?" He asked, not looking up from the papers he was working on
"Well, I was wondering, Counselor, if..." He paused "You'd like to go to dinner, with me" the Detective added looking down, which made a few pieces of his hair fall to his forehead, free from the  grip of the hair gel he most likely used.
Barba for once was at a slight loss for words, he looked up from his papers and a slight smirk appeared on his lips, "Are you asking me out on a date, Detective?"
"Would you say yes if I was?" Replied the detective, looking up, his baby blues brighter then normal.
"Are you free tomorrow at 8?"
"Y-Yeah, I am"
"Meet me at DiAngelo's at 8"
Carisi smiled brightly and nodded, "I gotta go now or Picatso will get all weird when I get home. See ya tomorrow Counselor!" He said, waving his goodbyes before exiting Barba's office happily knowing he had a date with his crush.
Meanwhile Barba was rethinking all of his life choices that had led up to when he had fallen for a man who'd named his cat Picatso.

~*~
The next day at 8 o'clock, Sonny Carisi walked up to the DiAngelo's restaurant in a nice white pressed shirt and dress pants with a navy tie, not his work clothes, Barba was too good for him to wear his work clothes on a date with him, he saw Barba standing outside the restaurant, wearing a suit, like always. Sonny wondered what he looked like in home clothes or pyjamas, hopefully, if dinner went well he'd have a chance to see that.
"Hey counselor!" He called, waving to the hot ADA as he walked towards him.
Rafael smiled warmly at the tall blue-eyed detective, waving back.
"You're not late Carisi, I'm surprised" He joked lightly, giving the detective a quick look down, he dressed nice, better then what he wore to work at least.
Carisi smiled at the comment. "I try counselor." He chuckled, "Shall we go in?" he asked, offering his arm, internally panicking about this, he was trying to follow the WikiHow article he read on how to act on a first date, so far it was working.
Barba smiled again, "Call me Rafael" He said, taking his arm and the pair went inside, where they were seated quickly in a little booth in the corner. The date went rather well as far as first dates with your co-worker are concerned, they chatted and laughed, happy in their own little world.
Rafael was sure he'd just fallen even harder for the blue eyed detective sitting across from him. He talked with his hands lot, this was something he had never noticed before, when telling funny little stories of his childhood in Staten Island suburbia, he made grand gestures with his hands, whether he was explaining his sisters giant crush on his best friend, or how he fell off of the playground structure when he was 10 and had to be in a wheelchair for a month.
Carisi noticed how Rafael's eyes softened when he talked about his grandma or his mom, telling stories of his childhood, how he poured himself into his studies and go to college against the odds, go to Harvard, it was truly inspiring and Carisi was reminded of why he fell for the green eyed ADA. He was the most interesting man he'd ever met.
"My apartment isn't far from here, wanna come over, end the night with a few drinks?" Carisi asked as they exited the restaurant after dinner, looking down.
"Sure" Barba replied, after a few moments of hesitation. "Lead the way" He chuckled.
As they walked, they chatted some more, sharing thoughts about cases, the law, and ridiculous perp names that Sonny had encountered during his years as a detective, ("You arrested a guy called Dick Hertz?" "Crazy right?")
Carisi was happy to learn more about Rafael, see the softer side of him, which was just as hot as the snarky work version of him, (in Sonny's opinion at least). Meanwhile Rafael had learned that Sonny was just as loud outside of work as he was in work, which to be honest wasn't surprising and kinda endearing to say the least.
Once they entered Sonny's apartment, Picatso rubbed up against the pairs legs, seeking attention from his owner and this new person he'd brought into the house.
"Hey stinky man" Sonny greeted the eager cat, leaning down to give him a quick pet, before shutting the door behind them and putting up his coat, "Want anything to drink? I got wine, whiskey, tea, coffee, water" He stated, turning around to look at Rafael, smiling a bit. Hopefully his apartment was clean enough, he didn't have much of a chance to clean up beforehand but he thought it looked presentable.
"I'll have a whiskey" Barba replied, hanging up his coat and glancing down at the cat, it was rubbing up against his leg and trying to sniff him to make sure he wasn't an enemy. Rafael wasn't particularly fond of felines but Picatso (what'd the cat do to be named that) seemed reasonable, he leaned over, giving his hand to sniff before he gave the cat a hesitant pet on the head, Picatso purred quietly, liking the attention from the new human.
"He likes you" Carisi smiled, coming back with two glasses, one with whiskey and another with wine. "I think thats the fastest ive ever seen him warm up to someone" He chuckled, handing the glass of whiskey to Barba as he got up. Picatso protested the end of the attention with a quiet meow, he looked to his owner for more but he paid him no heed.
Rafael smiled softly, taking the glass.
"Come, let's sit" Sonny lead Rafael inside, sitting on the couch and motioning for Barba to sit next to him, which he did.
They sat in awkward silence for a moment, before Rafael spoke up.
"How long have you wanted to go out with me" He asked, Sonny looked slightly embarrassed.
"You don't have to be a  detective to notice that" he chuckled, sipping at his drink.
Sonny turned slightly pink, and sipped his wine
"Its fine,  it's kinda cute actually"
At this Sonny blushed harder, "A year  or so" he mumbled.
Rafael smiled a bit, but hid it  by taking a sip of his whiskey. "If it makes you feel any better I've probably been pining for you for longer" He chuckled.
Sonny laughed at this quietly, "Wanna bet?" he joked. "During the moustache or after?" he asked
"Oh god, please never again remind me of your awful moustache"
"I thought it looked good"
"It made you look like a cheap pornstar from the eighties"
"I bet teenage you would've jumped at the chance to sleep with a pornstar back then"
Barba just laughed, and Sonny laughed with him. Both men unconsciously leaned closer to each other. Sonny would never be sure if it was them being comfortable with eachother, or him being slightly more confident (due to the alcohol from dinner and  the drinks now), or a bit of both that made him do it but he closed that gap between them after a moment of  silence, by pressing his lips to Rafaels and kissing him,  softly and slowly.
Rafael kissed back after a moment of surprise. Sparks flew between them and Sonny was astonished that  the other would kiss back. Soon enough, the  drinks were abandoned and Sonny deepened the kiss, moving closer.
That endeavor, however, soon devolved into Sonny kinda straddling the ADA and them hardcore making out, Rafels hands in Sonny's hair, removing it from the hold that the detectives hair gel had it in, and Sonny's arms around Rafaels waist, keeping the pair close.
By Sonny's standards, this was probably the best make out session her ever had the pleasure of being involved in, and judging by the way it was going he was hopefully going to be experiencing it much more.

Family always comes first for the Kardashian-Jenners, but what’s family without drama? During its two decade-long run, Keeping Up With the Kardashians has witnessed some of the most explosive and scathing fights between the family members.
RELATED: RHOBH: Every OG Housewife & Their Most Iconic Scene
While some feuds fizzled faster than the others, some of the scuffles got too ugly. As Kourtney decided to distance herself from the show, tensions flared up between her and her sisters. Plus, Kim, Kourtney, and Kylie began setting up certain boundaries as their family grew bigger which shifted the family dynamics somewhat. Here's a ranking of some of the most engaging and explosive fights and meltdowns on KUWTK.
10 Kylie Lashes Out At Kendall, Kris, And Tyga
Tumblr media
During a family vacation, Kris asks Kylie to spend some time with Kendall since the sisters rarely get any time to hang out with each other. Kylie was devoting a lot of time to her then-boyfriend Tyga and his son. As Kylie leaves the room, Kris complains to Kendall and Tyga about Kylie and tells them that she acts cranky at times. “She doesn’t get life, she’s too far ahead of herself,” Kendall tells Kris. Kylie was actually within earshot and could hear them talk about her which annoyed her and retaliated; this was actually the first time the viewers got to see Kylie put her foot down and establish boundaries. “Are you guys talking about me? Can you go somewhere else and do that?” Kylie lashed out at them.
9 The Candy Fight Between Kim And Kourtney
Tumblr media
This disagreement was quite tame as compared to other Kardashian fights, but fans noted that the argument between Kim and Kourtney had created friction between the two, as tensions had started flaring between the two sisters season 17 onwards. Kim basically wanted a candyland-themed birthday party to celebrate their daughters’ joint birthday. But Kourtney wanted healthy, sugar-free candies for the bash, which Kim thought was ridiculous.

“There are other treats that are not disgusting and filled with chemicals,” Kourtney told Kim. “It’s a candyland-themed party! Yes, that’s like what the party is about - Candyland. It’s not gluten-free land over here,” Kim retaliated.
8 The Bizarre Fight Between Kourtney And Kendall
Tumblr media
Post their ski-ing trip to Aspen, Kendall ranted to Khloe about how ridiculous Kourtney made her feel during their trip. Kendall basically told Khloe that Kourtney teamed up with Kendall’s friends to laugh at Kendall and she felt bullied. Kourtney, on the other hand, told Khloe on a separate occasion that Kendall was being very controlling during their whole trip and she would try to micro-manage everything and wouldn’t even let the squad spend their own money at the supermarket. Kendall and Kourtney soon confronted each other and Khloe was put in a tough spot because she was caught between the two sisters, so the fight actually escalated quite a bit due to Khloe’s involvement.
7 Khloe’s Meltdown Post Tristan Cheating Scandal
Tumblr media
As details of Tristan Thompson’s fling with Jordyn Woods started emerging from various sources, the Kardashian-Jenner clan struggled to cope. Things took a turn for the worse when Khloe found out that Jordyn was planning to make an appearance on Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Red Table Talk show to talk about the fling. Kris Jenner told Khloe that Jada’s team had gotten in touch with her and Khloe lashed out against her mother for not taking a stand against the interview.

Khloe was also seen going through a few difficult family roundtable discussions where she blamed Jordyn for not apologizing to Khloe one-on-one before agreeing to be part of a show.
6 Kourtney And Khloe’s Fight About Furniture
Tumblr media
Season 15 onwards Kourtney began to express how she wasn’t ready to be so open about her personal life on KUWTK. Kim and Khloe thought Kourtney’s distancing act could mess with the show and would often be seen talking about Kourtney behind her back. During one such instance, Kourtney comes to visit a pregnant Khloe and Kim as they’re planning a cherry blossom-themed party for Kim’s newest arrival. Kim pointedly thanks Khloe particularly for being "so present," which was a clear dig at Kourtney. And soon after, Kourtney began criticizing Khloe’s choice in furniture which offended Khloe. “Well thank you for coming over, thank you for being so lovely,” Khloe told Kourtney sarcastically. “Seriously what is wrong with you these days? You’re so b****y,” added Khloe.
5 Kylie And Kendall’s Fight Over Clothes
Tumblr media
In 2015, as Kendall and Kylie were getting ready for the ESPY Awards where Kaitlyn Jenner was about to be honored, the sisters got into a huge fight over clothes. For any other siblings, a fight over clothes is rather commonplace, but things got heated during this incident, as Kylie put her foot down and refused to lend Kendall any of her clothes.
RELATED: 10 Best Keeping Up With The Kardashians Couples, Ranked
Kendall basically wanted to borrow a brown dress from Kylie and asked one of Kylie’s assistants. “No she can’t borrow that,” Kylie tells the staff member. “You’re literally the biggest f****ng b**** I’ve ever met,” Kendall roared at Kylie.
4 Kim And Kourtney’s Photoshoot Tussle
Tumblr media
On the Season 15 premiere as Kim struggles to schedule a family photoshoot, Kourtney tells Kim that she can make herself available till 4 pm and will leave post that. That didn’t work out for Kim and as Kourtney continues to stand firm on her scheduling issues, Kim lashes out at her sister and tells her that no one wants her at the photoshoot because she’s the least exciting to look at. “Maybe if you had a f****ng business that you were passionate about then you would know what I’m talking about,” Kim yells at Kourtney as she leaves the room.
3 Kim's Meltdown Over Kourtney’s Look
Tumblr media
This was actually one of the moments when the fans got a look into what really goes behind Kim’s iconic fashion looks. As Kourtney and Khloe try to come up with a look for Kourtney, they settle on a vintage Dior number. They FaceTime Kim to ask her opinion when Kim accuses Kourtney of copying her look as Kourtney vehemently denies ever dressing like Kim. “I don’t think Kourtney realizes the legwork that goes behind this, I don’t think anybody understands. You have to really have a relationship with the designer…. She has no idea how this works,” Kim said.
2 Kylie And Kendall’s Palm Spring fight
Tumblr media
This has to be one of the most shocking fights in the Kardashian-Jenner history. During a trip to Palm Springs, Kylie had promised to lend Kendall something to wear for dinner but eventually backed out due to some misplanning in scheduling. Kendall has a meltdown as she yells at Kylie in front of family members as everyone tries to calm her down. Kylie doesn’t respond to Kendall and instead does shots with Corey Gamble in the kitchen. Later that same night, Kendall and Kylie get into another scuffle as they travel in the same car while on their way home from dinner; in fact, Kylie allegedly got physical with Kendall, forcing Kendall to leave the car and run out crying.
1 The Altercation Between Kourtney And Kim
Tumblr media
The physical scuffle between Kim and Kourtney has often been dubbed the most brutal in Kardashian history. A discussion over work ethic gets heated between the two as Kim implies that Kourtney doesn’t work as hard as her sisters. “You have this narrative in your mind… no, no. I will literally f*** you up,” Kourtney threatened Kim, as she launched an attack on Kim who was sitting opposite her. Things escalate really fast as Kim hits back and slaps Kourtney twice. Khloe and Kendall weren’t much help as they too were pretty shocked, and it took many days before things were back to normal between the two sisters.

(Ice) Princess, Part 3
Title: (Ice) Princess, Part 3.
Pairing: Taehyung x Reader
Type: Fluff/ Angst (this one is pretty angsty, but I promise it will get fluffier soon!)
Rating: PG
Word Count: 2,915
Link to:  Part 1, Part 2
A/N:  It’s 12:30AM on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, but I wanted to get this up on schedule for you, dear readers!  I wrote this in two hours with minimal editing time, so please let me know if you see anything I should change or have feedback. I had no idea which direction the story was going to go in until I actually sat down and wrote it. As of right now, I’m thinking there will be two more parts! As always, thanks for reading 💝
Your head drooped forward as the stylist did your hair for the day. You had thought that you had been tired when working the grueling hours you put into the family business, but that was nothing compared to the schedule you kept now. In an attempt to protect Tae’s image after your “sort of” date, you had used all your family and business connections possible. While you were able to keep the photos of your and Tae’s outing out of the press (though every now and then, speculation would pop back up from the fan blogs), it had come at a cost. One of the biggest media conglomerates in South Korea (name redacted for legal purposes) offered you an exchange: the disappearance of the photos in exchange for unprecedented access to one of the wealthiest  (and most reclusive, or so they marketed you) young heiresses in the country. Nothing in this world was free, as you had quickly come to realize.
The price you paid was this: a reality TV show. The show followed you around to different meetings and work trips, presenting you as a high flying, 21st century woman. But when that proved not “exciting” enough, the directors had scripted additional outings, shopping sprees and brunches. At first you had been hesitant to present an image that wasn’t your reality, but the producers assuaged your guilt by reminding you that “no reality TV was really reality.” You knew it was pure justification, but what could you do? You didn’t really have control over your image, what with the photos that the company still had filed somewhere. You now had more Gucci, and every other designer brand, than your closet could hold, but you had never felt more trapped or unfulfilled than at any other time of your life.
In a mere six months, you had become one of the most recognized faces in South Korea, with your show garnering record viewership in the 18-25 category, a number of sponsorship deals, and a spinoff was being planned (though your down-to-earth parents were strongly resisting, trying to protect the family’s privacy). It had also garnered cameos on variety shows, though this was the first series where you would be a recurring guest. The show basically paired up celebrities and simulated what it would be like if they were married. It was to be your most intensive filming yet, but it was this or live in the jungle for two weeks. You couldn’t afford (literally or metaphorically) to be gone from the family business for so long. Despite your filming, you were still responsible for running the business. You had never slept less, or felt so worn around the edges, but your public image, and that of the family business, had never been better.
You were nervous about who you might be paired up with, hoping for someone laid-back. You knew that the producers would find ways to create drama somehow, but you didn’t want this to be too much additional stress. In order to make the reactions as authentic as possible, they weren’t going to tell you who your “husband” was until the cameras were rolling. You sighed and lifted your head back up as the stylist finished your hair. For this first episode, they had everyone at the studio to reveal the pairs, and then they would give you the first mission for the week.
As you were guided to your studio chair, the crew was checking the lighting, and stylists were doing last minute adjustments to wardrobes and hair. In going with your public image as Korea’s young, trendy professional woman, they had put you in a classic black dress, spike heels, a blazer, and a silver statement necklace. A few weeks ago on your show, the producers had mandated that you get a haircut, so you ended up with a super sleek, asymmetrical bob. Looking around though, it could have been much worse. Another woman had hair down to her butt, which the stylist was still desperately trying to finish curling, and another was in a skirt so short that you were grateful for the business concept. You would never have been able to sit comfortably in that.  Your hair and wardrobe weren’t low maintenance compared to your life before, but it struck you that it was all relative. One of the guys had so many gold chains, you thought he might topple over, and another had guyliner that would give Marilyn Manson a run for his money.
As your eyes wandered around the studio, you noticed only one empty chair, directly across from you in the semi-circle. You wondered who would cut it that close to a filming. Before you could even finish the thought, a familiar face plopped down. Tae. You felt a blush immediately form on your cheeks and neck. You were feeling a weird mix of nostalgia, yearning, and….anger. You hadn’t heard from him since that eventful day six months ago. You knew he had been touring internationally, but it wasn’t THAT hard to send a text, or grab a coffee in between concert obligations. Did he even realize how much your life had changed because of him, and what you had traded for him to get off scot-free? You could feel your pulse in your neck, and took a few calming breaths. You had learned how to suppress your emotions and control your facial expressions for the camera. He was looking at his phone, while his stylist fixed his hair. Everyone was fawning over him, as BTS had just won a Billboard award. You were proud and happy, but it was always bittersweet to see him on TV. You wondered if he ever watched your show or other appearances. Would he even recognize you? Here you were sitting across from him, but he hadn’t even acknowledged your existence.
Before you could descend further into self-pity, the camera crew gave the countdown and you were recording. You were having a sort of out of body experience, where you were physically present, but your mind was elsewhere. Before you knew it, the other couples were paired up, and the MC was calling your name.
“And for the final couple this season, we have Y/L/N Y/N and…..Kim Taehyung!” The MC was drawing it out for maximum drama, but you felt time stop as his gaze locked with yours. If you were having an out of body experience before, you didn’t have words for what this was. Your face remained impassive, but on the inside, the same hurt and anger were surging. You guys were given the concept of “power couple” (whatever that meant). Were you being subtly bullied by the media company? The first mission was to get to know more about each other by “scheduling” time for an elegant dinner. Since their was an airdate though, the production crew of course scheduled things between his team and yours. You were whisked away for individual filming, where you gushed (appropriately) about how excited you were, how attractive Tae was, and how you were looking forward to getting to know him more. God knew what he was saying about you.  It wrapped up quickly, and you were herded by your manager back to your house, where your show would be filming a “spa-day” with all the best aestheticians in the city. Hopefully it was a fraction as relaxing as they would make it out to be on TV.
To film the first mission, you found yourself back at the French restaurant where you and Tae had quite literally run into each other at your mother’s birthday celebration. You rolled your eyes that this was the place your staff had chosen. You were pretty sure it was bullying now. You were in a red turtleneck sweater dress and nude heels. You opened the door, cameras following you, and smiled to them.
“I can’t believe he chose this place-it’s like he already knows me,” you beamed. “I have so many good memories here, like my mother’s birthday party.” You always tried to put a grain of truth into your lines for the show, hoping it felt more real. You felt like an imposter, but Tae played the role perfectly. He briefly hugged you, pulled out your chair, and was charming the entire time, keeping the conversation going. You felt yourself smiling more naturally than you had in months, and had to remind yourself to keep your walls up. There were cameras here, and it was all an act. Hadn’t that been the reason your mother had liked him to begin with? His acting skills? And you weren’t the type of person to let yourself make the same mistake twice. So you tried to deflect the charm back to him, leaning in close, laughing at his and making your own jokes,  and sharing your hopes for the program. With both of you on your best behavior, the filming sped by, and the meal was over before you knew it. The crews then separated you to get the “behind-the-scenes” commentary, and asked what you thought.
You looked “nervously” into the camera. “I hope the whole show can be like this,” you murmured. “I knew he was talented at singing, dancing, and acting, but who knew he was so charming!” You felt bile rise in the back of your throat at that one. You had pushed the truth a little too far, there. “I hope we can spend more time together!” you said, trying to redirect to safer, more generic commentary that wouldn’t test your emotional control. The crew adjusted the lighting, got a few more angles, and you repeated your lines with more or less enthusiasm. After what felt like ten years, your car arrived and you excused yourself. You had actual business to attend to at the company, and you were grateful for the excuse. Managing the company, and knowing that your parents, brothers, (future) children and grandchildren were provided for was one of the few things that gave you genuine happiness anymore.
A few days later, as you were looking through the dividends paid to investors and the residual earnings you had left to put back into the company, your phone began to ring. It was your manager- the footage of you and Tae and the restaurant had been the most popular of any of the new couples, and garnered the highest viewership of any episode that season. People on social media were speculating about “the chemistry” the two of you supposedly shared, and the tension” between you. If only they knew what that tension was really comprised of. Due to this, the producers were working on a “special surprise” (you cringed at this) for the next episode. Your manager told you to clear your schedule for the following week, and when you protested, she negotiated that you could keep your phone with you to take business calls. You knew this was as much as she would budge, without bringing up “the collateral.” She wasn’t a bad person, per se, just one trying to protect her own cash flow.
An hour later, you found yourself in a coffee shop, sitting across from Tae. He was in full on-charm mode, and you again found yourself fortifying yourself with your anger. You were both there to learn about the next mission. The staff handed you a piece of paper, which you unfolded and promptly dropped to the floor. No amount of anger could have prepared you for this. The producers were sending the two of you to his hometown, where you would meet his parents and family, and work for a week on their farm. The idea was to see how the modern professional woman would cope with small-town values and expectations. On Tae’s side, it would allow him to show you his upbringing and to show you the ropes of rural life. It was clearly meant to be a touching moment, but you were in shock, and there was no way for you to cover it.
“Look, she’s so excited, she’s speechless!” Tae bubbled, buying you some time. When it was clear that they weren’t going to get any better reaction from you, they cut and suggested that they follow you as you packed and prepared for farm life.  You knew they would dub that section over later and play up your shock. You numbly agreed to let them follow you around, still not processing anything. Only when Tae gave you a goodbye hug did a little color return to your cheeks. You actually did have a lot to do, as you had to get everything ready to go by tomorrow (since BigHit had cleared Tae’s schedule only for the following week, just for this show. You rolled your eyes-had anyone thought to consult your schedule?) and take care of as much business-related stuff as possible before leaving. Your mother looked concerned when she saw that you were still up at 3AM. She had come down for a glass of water, and the glow from your computer reflected throughout the cavernous white and silver kitchen, casting the space in an eerie, artificial blue glow.
“What are you still doing up?” she tsked her tongue.
“Trying to get these reports done before I leave for Daegu at six,” you muttered.
“Daegu? Why?”
“Well, not even Daegu, if we’re being specific, but a farm outside of it.”
“My daughter? On a farm? You’ve never worked in manual labor or lived outside Seoul,” she chuckled. “You’re the brains of this family, not the brawn.”
“Tell that to the producers, please,” you replied acerbically.
She came around the island you were seated at, and gave you a warm hug. It was the most comforting thing you had experienced all day, and before you knew it you found yourself crying into her shoulder, explaining everything about the new show you were on, and your partner. She already knew why you had your own show in the first place (nothing was a secret between you), but she still sighed as she rubbed soothing circles in your back.
“You’ve given up so much to protect someone who hasn’t given you anything in return. For a supposed ‘ice princess,’ you’re going to awfully long lengths to help someone else. Are you sure that you want to keep up with all of these filming and shows? You were never a person who wanted the spotlight.”
“I know. And I feel like the more they pile onto me, the more I resent it, and him. I just want to run the family business and spend time with you all,” you sniffed.
“Is there a way you can turn them down? Say no and stand up for yourself! The daughter I know wasn’t scared to speak her mind or to negotiate,” your mother countered, trying to give you a pep talk.
“Not without hurting his image and our business.”
“The business isn’t everything,” she replied, pulling you tighter. “You’ve done more than enough for this family.”
It had been too long since the two of you had sat down and spent time together. You were normally so composed- you rarely cried, and didn’t want to burden her. But it was the best feeling in the world to know that you had someone in your corner no matter what. She made you feel strong and brave, and you decided then that whatever happened on this trip, you were going to be your truest self. If you and Tae had a second away from the cameras, you would maybe even be honest with him about how you were feeling. While you guys hadn’t had anything serious, it still hurt that he had dropped you without a word and no inkling of what you had done to protect his career.
You stayed in her arms awhile longer, before you sent her back up to bed. At some point around 5, you woke up with a keyboard imprint on your face.  You knew that it was as much sleep as you would be getting, and got ready for the train ride to Daegu. You had to be at the station by 7. Though you knew there would be cameras, you decided you didn’t care. To test how much “reality” they actually wanted, you slipped on your favorite oversized hoodie, yoga pants, and a pair of bright New Balance sneakers.  You grabbed your duffle and were out the door. As your driver sped expertly through the early morning streets, you messaged your manager that you were on your way to the station, where the camera crews and staff would meet you. Your trip to Daegu had officially started.

Do you have a list / can you make a list of everything Matt was in (even if it's for only five seconds) so i can satisfy my ultimate need?
Having a BS in Education and a MA in Library/Archives and an overwhelming need to please people and a slight case of OCD makes it almost impossible for me to not answer these types of questions in a ridiculously comprehensive manner.
Anyway, gather ‘round, Children, and Behold! – A Matt Bomer Mattsterpost! I’ll be adding to it as my energy and motivation permits.
Note: I don’t have links for everything, especially the newer TV shows and the movies. Sorry about that. I only linked to where you can steam or download something. The movies and newer TV shows you can pretty easily find elsewhere, either legally by buying or renting on Amazon/iTunes, or illegally via torrents. Whichever is your jam. Just don’t ask me for torrent links. I will not provide them. I don’t want to be blamed for viruses or trackers!

At the Oscars of American Fashion, Lots of Winners, Less Relevance
So much for politics. After two years in which the CFDA awards — the annual celebrity-and-model-infused “Oscars of the Fashion World” bestowed by the Council of Fashion Designers of America — had celebrated and called out the need for diversity, the power of immigrants, the rights of women and questioned the very meaning of what it was to be a designer; on an evening that symbolized the turn of an era as Diane von Furstenberg the longtime CFDA chairman passed the torch of leadership (literally) to Tom Ford; at a ceremony where more designers of color were nominated for awards than possibly ever before, the winner was … the status quo.
It started off promisingly enough. On Monday night at the Brooklyn Museum, as the sun set over Prospect Park and guests finally took their seats in the rotunda after two hours of air-kissing, Hasan Minhaj of “The Daily Show” appeared on stage to present the Menswear Designer of the Year award. And he began by poking pointed fun at Gucci for “putting white guys in turbans,” a reference to a recent cultural appropriation brouhaha that suggested the show would not be without currency.
But then Rick Owens, the American designer in Paris who won the Lifetime Achievement Award back in 2017, got the prize — beating out Virgil Abloh, the most nominated designer, who went home empty-handed (kind of like Jay-Z at the 2018 Grammys). And so it went.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen of The Row were named Accessory Designers of the Year for the third time; they have also been Womenswear Designers of the Year twice.
In presenting Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen with the Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti International Award (on the same night that the Duchess of Cambridge wore a McQueen gown to the state dinner with President Trump in London), Anna Wintour showed a family wedding picture, of the gown that Ms. Burton made last year for Ms. Wintour’s daughter, Bee.
Barbie, the Mattel doll celebrating its 60th birthday this year, won the Board of Directors’ Tribute, a recognition that previously went to Michelle Obama, Gloria Steinem, Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and Cecile Richards of Planned Parenthood.
Though, while accepting on behalf of the doll, Lisa McKnight of Mattel pointed out that Barbie had been an astronaut before a man went to the moon, and president before “a woman won the popular vote,” it was hard to get away from the sense that a plastic toy was not quite the same thing. Especially one that, despite coming in numerous iterations, is still most famous for being Caucasian, blond and the sort of female shape that exists only in virtual reality.
They were such familiar names on this particular podium (Bob Mackie won the Lifetime Achievement Award), the announcement that Brandon Maxwell, the maestro of Lady Gaga’s four-in-one Met gala look, won the Womenswear Designer of the Year award, practically qualified as an upset — even though he also took home the Emerging Womenswear Designer trophy in 2016.
In any case, Mr. Maxwell’s name was met with many cheers, as was his emotional speech, in which he announced he had not expected to win and so had been taking full advantage of the free bar, revealed his pants were too tight, and celebrated being “part of an industry like this where we wake up every day charged with the idea that making a woman feel good, that making someone happy, is valid.”
That was Jennifer Lopez’s message also as she accepted her Fashion Icon award in a Ralph Lauren ball gown skirt and cropped top, noting that as a girl who grew up in the Bronx, she had to wear a designer who also grew up in the Bronx.
Introducing her, Mr. Ford had hailed her as a pioneer of the body positive movement, though the closest anyone got to really taking a stand on an issue of the day was Eileen Fisher, who was given the Positive Change Award for her work in sustainability. And though she did acknowledge that fashion as an industry was in no way sustainable, instead of excoriating the people in the room, she simply asked them to engage with the problem, and think about what they could do.
Maybe that was a clue to the import of the event: In a world that is increasingly angry and divided, this was a time for an industry to just come together and make nice. But while inclusivity and a warm, cuddly embrace is important, is it enough?
New York fashion — American fashion in general — is in the midst of an identity crisis. The old guard is treading water, and a new generation (many of whom, including Telfar Clemens, Mr. Abloh and Kerby Jean-Raymond of Pyer Moss were nominated, but none of whom won) is coming to the fore, wrestling with entirely different ideas about what role fashion plays in the world.
By avoiding the topics that have the most urgency, whether gender fluidity, the tension between digital and material culture, race or women’s rights over their own bodies, and the designers trying to remake those narratives, the CFDAs also avoided controversy. And risk.
As a result, after Ms. Lopez finished her speech and the attendees melted into the night and their Ubers, it was hard not to feel that despite all of the winners, something had also been lost: relevance.
