Biography:

When Jupiter learned that she would be unable to get pregnant, she realized that she wanted nothing more than to be a mother, despite having lived most of her life thinking the exact opposite. Like Apollo and unlike Navid, Athena was adopted at birth and spent her first few years in Lebanon with Apollo and Jupiter until Navid came along and they moved back to the states. 

As the middle child, Athena has found herself to be a good balance between her brothers. She’s definitely not shy and can make conversation with most people, but she is definitely not as out there as Apollo is. Her ideal night is one spent with all of her friends at her house, cooking and watching shitty movies, preferably while all of them are high. Though that’s pretty much protocol in the Ahadi house. 

Like any daughter, Athena has had her moments of butting heads with Jupiter but out of the three kids, she is probably the closest to their mother, spending the most time with her and always eager to join her on an extended trip. 

And like her mother, Athena has taken a real liking to fiction writing, though she’d never admit to her mother that her favorite writer is her Uncle Pink ( @think-pink-floyd​ )

She can mostly be found with a book in her hand and she always manages to get access to the car before her brothers do. Which means she often ends up driving them everywhere. 

Because of it, she ended up deciding to drive for Uber but ended up getting too many complaints about her car smelling like weed.

She was glad that Sara was around, but Ava needed to write her dissertation. She had to have six more pages written before meeting with her adviser tomorrow. "Nope," Sara popped the 'p' loudly. "Just enjoying looking at my own personal Indiana Jones. Or do you prefer Evelyn Carnahan?" Sara asked in an off handed manner.

(2/?) "I prefer Marion Ravenwood," Ava offered with a small smile, still not looking up from her work. "Hot." And the conversation lulled for a few minutes, but Ava could still feel Sara's gaze on her. "Sara." "What? I didn't do anything!" Sara pleaded, all innocence. "You are distracting me. I know you have things to do, that don't involve staring at me." Many of Sara's friends, and even her sister, Laurel, lived in Star City and it seemed that very few of them were gainfully employed.(3/?) "I'm hurt, don't you want me around?" Sara pouted prettily, and that in and of itself was tempting. "Sara, I need to get this written and defend it to the thesis committee or I don't graduate or ever see a cent of funding or ever go on another dig again." Sara might play at being cavalier and carefree, but she had to understand, didn't she? "I know, I just like watching you work. You get this cute little furrow between your eyebrows when you're typing." Ava couldn't help smiling at that.(4/4) "If you can let me have a few hours to myself, maybe I can pull out the Indiana Jones fedora I have around here somewhere," Ava offered, grinning at the thought. The idea obviously appealed to Sara as well because she was off the couch and out the door in moments, with barely time for a goodbye. And, when Sara returned later that evening she was greeted by the promised fedora and a small note say only: 'No clothes allowed."omg they're doing Indiana Jones roleplay now cool cool cool this is fine I'm not freaking out at all!!!! and Ava would 100% be the type to be SO cute when she works, I bet she gets SO cute when she's frustrated and typing and focusing hard UGH I love her

CORINNE AHADI. she/her. college junior; twenty.

Before Jupiter was Corinne’s official mom, she was already in love with the sprightly baby girl and even witnessed her being born, her birth mother being a near and dear friend. So, when she realized she wasn’t prepared for motherhood after leaving Corinne at a party, and might never be, she insisted Jupiter take her because, “You already love her…She calls you aunt…I’d do it for you.”

From thereon out, wherever Jupiter was, you were sure to see Corinne’s signature head of curls peeking out from behind her legs. They were attached at the hip, Corinne bringing Jupiter a heightened sense of joy and accomplishment, the kind being a best selling author couldn’t, and Jupiter giving Corinne all the love and room to discover a girl like her needed. 

As a child, Corinne showed great interest in instruments and music, and inspired by Esperanza Spalding, taught herself violin. It didn’t take much convincing after that for Jupiter to hire a music tutor, certain her daughter was truly in love with it, and so Corinne begin studying the clarinet, oboe, and the double bass. Later joining the Chamber Music Society.

By her teen years, she reached the concertmaster position and won a scholarship to Rosewood Academy’s famous music program for being a ‘musical prodigy’. School was easy and boring for Corinne, but with Ravenwood in mind, she stuck it out and graduated with honors. Spending her weekends performing in a blues club that she was much too young for’s jazz band. Now her instructors at Ravenwood praise her for her unique qualities and abilities, but insists she’s beginning to lose focus much to their dismay.

Corinne’s at a crossroads, loving playing music, but feeling the need to branch out beyond such structured and academic spaces. Spaces she never encountered with her mom, unless she was a featured speaker at someone’s college. And return to the feeling she had in the blues club and as a child — limitless, experimental, and creative.

Being raised by someone as carefree as Blue could only be described as a bittersweet — despite being unburdened by the rules and regulations that would ordinarily be instilled by most parents, Ava always felt as though they had to make a set of their own. Control, regularity and routine were all things that they thrived on, and it stemmed from the rampant environment they grew up in. 

Prior to being adopted by Blue, Ava resided in a group home thanks to disrupted placements and absent birth parents, and was taken in by their mom at the age of nine. They settled into their new home relatively well, though it took a few years of effort and love on Blue’s part to get Ava to realise the permanence of the situation. They’ve always been cautious by nature, but after all of the time that has passed, Ava finally knows that they’re in this for the long haul.

Blue never put much emphasis on school or grades, but Ava took it upon themself to take advantage of the opportunities they had at Rosewood for the sole purpose of getting into a good college. Going to Ravenwood would have been nothing but a pipe dream a few years ago, but after graduating at the top of their class and getting in on a scholarship, Ava finally feels like a good future is within reach. 

If there’s one thing Ava has inherited from Blue, it’s their will to make change. With the level of injustice they’ve faced in their life, political science was the only route they could think to go down in terms of study. Their dream is to eventually make it into the political environment of Rosewood, but for the mean time, they’re focusing on maintaining good grades and fishing for internships to boost their resume.

With their dreams constantly in mind, Ava doesn’t have time for fluff. Serious, closed-off and driven are all words that could describe their current state of being. It’s not that they’re opposed to making friendships or having short-term flings — it’s that they don’t know how. All they’ve ever known is being alone, and it’s turned into an odd sort of comfort to be by themself while they focus on what’s ahead. Life is about balance, and that’s something that Ava has to work on if they truly want to have it all.
