When a shooting star streaks across the inky black, you wish on it... maybe something will happen, though stars never seem to care if they do. Toby's wishing star just so happens to nearly crash into the very boat he and his marine biologist colleagues are on- and sinks into the reefs below. Taking a dive to survey the damage done to the landing zone, Toby finds wreckage, and so happens to see something- some one, reaching out for help.

#i love me a good 'scientist out in the field while an alien crash lands nearby' trope. its not a super popular one (or maybe i havent seen- #-many) but they're so good i eat them up #i imagine this would be double toby and krel bonding and then. like. toby's team trying very hard not to accidentally offend krel or tell- #authorities njadnsjkns
