could I request maybe shy!reader trying to play dnd with eddie but she's suuuuuuper nervous and confused and internally panicking about him not liking her anymore if she can't get into it?? Or if you wanna change it up please do!! love you!!
love you! hope you like it! — you get insecure about not liking d&d when a girl joins hellfire (shy!fem!r, hurt/comfort ish, established relationship, 1.4k)
The Hellfire room is void of the boyish bodies that usually fill it. The abandoned classroom, turned freak sanctuary, is now littered with pieces the rogues, clerics, and bards left behind — in half-empty soda cans and crumbled-up bags of potato chips.
While Eddie packs up his binder, filled to the brim with miscellaneous papers, you wander around the long table with a trashcan in hand. The wild-haired boy squints when you chuck Dustin’s crushed Pepsi in the bin. “You don’t have to do that, you know?”
“It’s okay,” you shrug. “I don’t mind.”
Eddie huffs through his nose, feeling too exhausted now to argue. He slides his binder into his bag and watches you rake Gareth’s chip crumbs into the trashcan. The urge to stop you becomes unignorable then.
“Okay, well, you know what? I mind—” the boy retorts, striding the very short distance to you and snatching the bin from your grip. He smiles a crooked grin and continues in a fantastical accent. “—‘Cause the Dungeon Master’s queen shouldn’t have to clean up after a bunch of lowborns, alright?”
You roll your eyes with a subdued giggle. “Someone’s gotta do it, Eds,” you insist as you reach for the plastic container he took. You exhale sharply when he hides it further behind him, pulling it further out of your way. “I wanna be of some use around here!”
Eddie’s face twists. “Don’t say that.”
You cower beneath his stare. “Well… It’s not like I actually play or anything. I just kinda… sit around… And watch you guys do everything…”
“Well, why would you play?” he laughs. “You don’t even like D&D.”
Something in the way he says it makes you ache. You’ve always felt distantly horrible about it — failing to take interest in something he holds so close to his heart. Hearing him reiterate that fact twists the knife lodged in your chest.
“That doesn’t bother you?” you wonder, impossibly shy. “That I don’t play?”
Eddie shrugs and sits the bin down again. “Why would that bother me?” he scoffs.
“I don’t know… ‘Cause you like it. And it’s your favorite thing to do in the whole world.”
“Well… Maybe not my favorite thing,” he croons with a mischievous glint in his eye.
Your nose scrunches in disdain. His laughter fills the empty room as his ringed hands spread warm along your sides. “I just feel bad,” you confess, gaze averted to the scuffed tile beneath your feet. “You know, that I can’t get into or whatever.”
Eddie meets your subtle pout with an unbothered grin. “There’s nothing to feel bad about. People like different things, babe. That’s life,” he assures you, squeezing softly at your sides. “I mean, it’s no different than me hating The Smiths, right? I still let you play their cassettes in the van, and you still sit in on all my campaigns— and that, sweetheart, is the meaning of true love…”
Unswayed, you jerk softly back when he leans down to kiss you. You frown up at him with your arms crossed between your bodies. “But Rory loves D&D. And she’s super pretty…”
Aurora Edwards was the newest edition to the Hellfire gang. She goes by Rory for short, though, ‘cause she’s cool like that and everything. Her dyed blonde hair is as wild as Eddie’s, cut into a makeshift mullet that sits sort of shaggy on her head — intentionally messy in a way only she can pull off.
She likes cool music and cool clothes and cool hobbies — because everything she does seems to have some sort of subverted flair to it. She’s smart and she’s nerdy and she’s beautiful. None of which seem fair. You’ve been stirring with feelings of inadequacy since you met her.
And Eddie doesn’t seem to get any of it. His brows furrow at your words, like none of them have any sort of meaning to him.
“She’s way more your type than I am,” you blurt.
A laugh sputters from his plush mouth. “You think my love for you is contingent on some stupid game?” he chuckles.
The way he says it makes you shrink. You feel sort of stupid about it now. “I don’t know…”
“Well, then, I have done a very shit job of being your boyfriend.”
Your chest stings. “No, you haven’t, Eddie—”
“Mm,” he hums, half playful, as he tilts his pretty head to his shoulder. “I have, though. ‘Cause if you think some other girl liking Dungeons and Dragons is gonna make me love you any less, then I have done something horribly, horribly wrong.”
You bite back a smile at his words, pursing your lips to the side of your mouth until the beam becomes impossible to ignore.
“‘Cause you’re kinda stuck with me, turns out,” the boy continues. “Unfortunately for you.”
“Unfortunately?” you echo with a scoff.
“Yeah. ‘Cause if some other schmuck comes around who likes listening to The Smiths and sitting in the sunshine, he’s gonna have to go through me.”
You breathe sharply through your nose in place of a laugh. “I don’t want another guy, Eds…” you confess, going shy all over again.
His nose scrunches as he plays coy. “Even if he doesn’t smoke?” he wonders in a sheepish murmur.
“Even if he doesn’t smoke.”
“Good,” he beams, pulling you into him by your belt loops. His breath fans over your jaw in a minty-nicotine concoction as he ducks his face closer to yours. “‘Cause I don’t want anyone else, either, alright? Even if they are almost as good as me at D&D… Actually, it’s kinda a turn-off, now that I’m thinking about it…”
“Is it?”
“Yeah… ‘Cause, like, I love teaching you about it and everything.”
“Even when I have no idea what you’re talking about?”
“Especially when you have no idea what I’m talking about,” he laughs, smiling so hard his cheeks speckle pink. “‘Cause you know how much I like it, so… You let me talk all the shit I want.”
“’S just because you’re so pretty when you talk about things you like,” you confess.
His face twists. “Am I?”
“Well, you’re pretty all the time, but…”
“You flatter me,” he huffs and pulls you closer. He smirks and goes quieter when he says, “And flattery goes a long way with me.”
“Does it?” you hum with a sunshine-coated giggle.
Eddie doesn’t answer you with words. He just presses his lips to your mouth and hopes you get the gist. His tongue swipes against yours, soft and sudden, as he guides you towards the table. You run into a rogue chair before he can get you on top of it. It screeches against the linoleum tile.
With his face in your hands, you giggle against his mouth. His denim-clad knee slips between your thighs.
The door squeaks softly open then. Rory enters, swift and unthinking. You and Eddie pull apart — one looking much more horrified than the other — as the blonde girl stands frozen in the doorway. Drowning in her sweatshirt and baggy jeans, she points a lanky finger towards the table.
“Sorry,” she apologizes, voice gritty and deep. “I just left my girlfriend’s jacket here, and she doesn’t know I stole it, so… She’d definitely kill me if I forgot it.”
“That’s okay. Come in,” Eddie shrugs with a tightlipped smile, nodding his head in a silent invitation. When Rory plucks the coat from the back of her chair, he says, “Tell Jess I said hi, yeah?”
The girl scoffs as she heads back towards the door again, leaving just as quickly as she came. “She still hates you, you know that, right?” she laughs. ‘Cause Jess was a cheerleader — pretty and sometimes kind, but dreadfully conservative. Her uptight nature often clashed with Eddie’s much more chaotic one.
“Well, tell her to get in line,” Eddie chuckles.
Before Rory leaves the room, she glances at the two of you over her shoulder. She winks with an eye smudged with black liner. “Have fun, you two,” she croons in a pretty voice before shutting the door behind her.
You stand, still and silent in place, wringing your anxious hands into a knot. Feeling like a total idiot, you refuse to meet Eddie’s gaze. You know he’s got a smug look on his face. You can hear the smirk in his voice when he says, “See? Not my type at all.”

Tumblr media
The world outside Azkaban had always felt like a distant memory to Mattheo. The walls, the cold, and the constant torment of his own mind had been his reality for six long years. But now, walking the streets of Diagon Alley as a free man, the memories felt sharper, more painful. He had imagined this moment so many times—stepping back into the life he'd left behind, finding you, and maybe, just maybe, picking up the pieces of what you two had.
But nothing could have prepared him for this.
It was supposed to be a simple walk—an aimless stroll to ground himself, to remind himself that he was no longer trapped in that hellhole. But as he turned the corner, there it was: Brews and Stews. The same café you both used to sneak away to when the world got too loud. His heart clenched at the sight, and before he knew it, his feet were pulling him closer, as if some invisible force was guiding him back to the past.
Then he saw you.
You were sitting at one of the outside tables, sunlight bathing you in a warm glow that made you look almost ethereal. His heart stuttered in his chest as he stood frozen on the cobblestone street, staring at you like a man starved. Six years, and you were still the same. Beautiful, captivating. You were reading a book, the furrow of your brow as mesmerizing as ever.
For a moment, he considered turning back. He didn’t belong here. Not anymore. You had probably moved on; you had to. Six years was a lifetime. But just as he was about to retreat, the small figure next to you caught his eye.
A little girl, her brown curls bouncing as she laughed, sitting beside you at the table. She was a blur of motion—happy, full of life.
"Mama, look!" the child giggled, holding up a small trinket, her voice full of excitement. "Isn't it pretty?"
You smiled, reaching over to stroke her hair, and that’s when Mattheo felt the world collapse around him. Mama. The word echoed in his head, ripping through his chest like a knife. His stomach twisted painfully as he watched the scene unfold before him.
You had a child.
For a split second, his mind couldn’t process it. A child. A little girl. With you.
His heart thundered in his chest, and his fists clenched at his sides. It wasn’t possible, was it? You had moved on. Of course you had. Six years was too long for anyone to wait, especially for someone like him—a man who had done unspeakable things, who had been imprisoned for it. Why would you wait for him? And yet, the thought of you with someone else, of you having a family, was enough to suffocate him.
He took a shaky step back, the weight of the realization crashing down on him. He wasn’t ready for this. He hadn’t prepared himself to see you like this. But just as he was about to turn away, you glanced up.
Your eyes locked with his, and the world seemed to stop.
"Mattheo?" Your voice was a breathless whisper, as if you couldn’t believe what you were seeing. The expression on your face shifted from shock to something else—something he couldn’t quite read.
His breath caught in his throat as he stood frozen, every muscle in his body tensing. You were staring at him, those eyes he had dreamed of every night in Azkaban now filled with confusion, and something else... regret, maybe?
But then the girl looked up too. She had your eyes, but the rest of her—the wild brown curls, the soft slope of her nose—it was like staring into a mirror. She had his features.
He couldn’t move. His gaze flicked between you and the girl, heart hammering in his chest as his mind screamed for answers. The question hung heavy on his lips, but he couldn’t bring himself to ask it.
"Come on, Aurora," you said quickly, standing up and gathering your things. Your voice wavered, the panic evident as you scooped the girl into your arms. "We have to go."
You brushed past him without another word, holding the little girl tightly as you hurried away from the café. His body moved instinctively to follow, but his feet were rooted to the spot. He watched you walk away, the weight of the unanswered question heavy in the air.
Aurora looked back at him once, her big, curious eyes staring into his, and then she was gone, disappearing down the street with you.
He stood there for what felt like hours, his mind spinning. That girl—Aurora. She was his. He could see it now, clear as day. He could feel it. The brown curls, the shape of her face, the way her eyes had stared at him with that same intensity he’d seen in his own reflection.
His daughter.
The realization slammed into him, nearly knocking the wind out of his lungs. How could you not have told him?
With heavy steps, he set off down the street, following the path you had taken. His heart pounded in his chest, each step bringing him closer to the confrontation he had dreaded but needed. He wasn’t sure what he would say, wasn’t sure how you would react.
But one thing was clear: he wasn’t going to lose you again. And he wasn’t going to lose his daughter. Not after everything he had already lost.
Mattheo’s heart pounded in his chest as he strode through the narrow streets, the weight of what he’d just seen pressing down on him with every step. The world felt suffocating, spinning around him in a blur of emotions—anger, betrayal, heartbreak. His hands shook at his sides, clenched into fists as he tried to keep his mind focused on the only thing that mattered now: finding you.
You couldn’t have gone far.
Aurora. Our daughter, the thought kept repeating in his mind like a relentless drumbeat. His daughter—his little girl, and you had never told him. He hadn’t known, hadn’t been there for anything. The rage simmering inside him was barely contained as he searched the crowd, every face blurring together until he finally saw you, ducking into a quieter street with Aurora still in your arms.
His legs moved before he could think.
“Y/N!” His voice was a shout, desperate, raw. You didn’t stop. “Y/N, stop!”
You glanced over your shoulder, eyes wide with panic, but you didn’t slow down. Mattheo’s breath was ragged as he pushed through the crowd, forcing his way closer. He wasn’t letting you run from this. He wasn’t letting you run from him. Not again.
Finally, you reached a quiet alleyway, and Mattheo caught up to you just as you were fumbling with your wand, trying to Apparate. His hand shot out, grabbing your wrist.
“Don’t you dare,” he growled, his voice a low, dangerous rumble.
“Mattheo—” you started, but he cut you off, the fury burning in his chest.
“Are you fucking kidding me?!” His voice boomed through the narrow alley, raw and loud. “Is this what I think it is, Y/N? Is that my goddamn kid?”
Aurora flinched at his raised voice, her small body shrinking into your arms. You immediately shifted her to your other hip, turning her face away from him.
“Mattheo, not here,” you hissed, your voice barely above a whisper as you glanced down at your daughter. “Please.” And the first conversation you’re having after six years is going to be an argument.
“Not here?” he spat, eyes blazing with fury. “That—That’s my daughter,” he sputtered. “You fucking kept my daughter from me. Don’t tell me to calm down.”
You winced at the venom in his voice, but you didn’t move, your eyes pleading with him to lower his voice. “You don’t understand. Let’s just talk about this. I didn’t know how to—”
“Are you fucking kidding me?” he repeated, louder this time, his voice trembling with rage. “You didn’t know how? You knew damn well how to keep her from me! You didn’t even try, Y/N.”
“I…” You hesitated, the guilt written all over your face, but Mattheo wasn’t letting you off the hook that easily.
“Do you have any idea what I’ve been through?” he forced out, the pain bleeding into his voice now. “I fucking rotted in Azkaban for six years, thinking I had nothing left. And all this time, you had her? I—I had a kid? ”
Aurora shifted again in your arms, and Mattheo’s heart wrenched as he saw her big, curious eyes peek out from beneath your hair. She didn’t know him. She had no idea who he was, and that realization broke something inside him.
“How could you?” His voice cracked, his eyes burning as he stared at you, searching for some explanation that would make any of this hurt less.
You closed your eyes, breathing deeply as if steadying yourself before meeting his gaze again. “I didn’t know what to do, Mattheo,” you said softly, the edge of panic still there but buried beneath layers of hurt. “You were in Azkaban. I didn’t think you’d ever get out.”
“That’s bullshit!” he snarled, his hands trembling as he ran them through his hair. “You could’ve written. You could’ve found a way! You could’ve let me fucking know I had a daughter!”
Tears welled in your eyes, your lips trembling as you looked away, the guilt eating at you. “I… I was scared,” you whispered, barely audible over the sound of his labored breathing. “I was scared she’d grow up without you. That she’d grow up knowing what you were forced to be… and I didn’t want that for her.”
Mattheo’s chest heaved with the weight of your words, but it only stoked the fire of his rage. “That’s not your decision to make, you had no right to keep her from me!”
You blinked, tears spilling down your cheeks as you clutched Aurora tighter. “I didn’t do it on purpose. You weren’t here. You literally couldn’t be here. I was trying to protect her—”
“From me?!” he shouted, the words scraping from his throat like broken glass.
Aurora’s tiny whimper cut through the air like a knife, and Mattheo’s heart shattered. He hadn’t meant to scare her, hadn’t meant to let his anger bleed into his voice, but it was too late now.
You stepped back, rocking Aurora gently in your arms, trying to soothe her as you looked up at him with tear-filled eyes. “I wasn’t trying to hurt you, Mattheo.”
“Then what the fuck were you trying to do?” he spat, his voice low now, hoarse with emotion. “Because it sure as hell feels like you didn’t give a shit about what I’d feel. I missed everything. Everything, Y/N.”
Your breath hitched, and the weight of his words settled over you like a blanket of regret. “I didn’t know how to tell you,” you whispered. “I didn’t know if I could. And by the time I thought about it, too much time had passed. I thought… I thought maybe it was better this way.”
Mattheo let out a bitter, hollow laugh, his eyes wild as he stared at you. “Better? Better?! How the fuck is this better? I lost all six years of her goddamn existence! Six years! I didn’t get to see her first steps, didn’t hear her first words, didn’t even know she existed. And you think that was better?”
You sobbed, clutching Aurora close to you as if the little girl could shield you from the onslaught of his anger. “I’m sorry,” you cried, your voice breaking. “I’m so sorry, Mattheo.”
But sorry wasn’t enough. It wasn’t enough to undo the years of pain, the years of loneliness and anguish he had endured in that cell, thinking he had lost you, lost everything.
He took a deep, shaky breath, forcing himself to look at the little girl—Aurora. His daughter. She was watching him now, her big eyes wide and confused, her small fingers gripping your shirt. She looked so much like him.
“Aurora,” he said, his voice a broken whisper.
She blinked at him, tilting her head slightly as if she didn’t understand why he was looking at her that way. Of course she didn’t. She didn’t know him. He was a stranger to her. And that hurt more than anything else.
“I can’t fucking believe you,” Mattheo whispered, his voice barely audible now. “You kept her from me.” He shook his head, tears of his own threatening to spill over. “You took everything from me.”
You wiped at your eyes, shaking your head. "I didn’t want her to grow up around this—around what we were part of. I didn't want her to know the darkness.”
“But that darkness is a part of me, Y/N,” Mattheo snapped, his voice breaking. “It's who I am. I can’t escape it, no matter how much you want to pretend it’s not there. And you—you kept my baby from me because of it?”
You let out a shaky breath, the weight of your decision hanging between you. “I made a mistake, Mattheo. I thought I was doing what was best for her.”
The words hung heavy in the air, and for the first time since you’d left the café, Mattheo’s anger began to ebb, replaced by something even more painful—regret.
Mattheo stood frozen, his chest heaving with the weight of all that had just transpired. His gaze shifted between you and Aurora, trying to piece together the shards of the life he thought he’d lost. His anger still simmered beneath the surface, but as he watched you, tears streaming down your face, and saw Aurora clinging to you with wide, confused eyes, something inside him softened.
But the more he looked at you, standing there with Aurora in your arms, the more the anger started to unravel into something deeper, something rawer.
Because it wasn't just about Aurora. It was about you. You, the woman he'd loved so fiercely before everything fell apart. The woman he had held onto in the darkest hours of Azkaban, when hope was the only thing that kept him from losing his mind.
He had missed you— fuck, he'd missed you— and now you were here, standing in front of him with his daughter. And as furious as he was, as shattered as he felt, that love hadn't gone anywhere.
He hadn't seen you in six years, but you still made his heart race in ways he couldn't control.
“Y/N,” he whispered, the anger in his voice beginning to crack, replaced by a deep, aching sadness. “I’ve missed you. I’ve missed you so fucking much.”
"I used to run my fingers through her hair every night," you whispered suddenly, your voice cracking as you glanced down at Aurora's curls. "Because she has your curls. And it made me feel closer to you."
Those words hit Mattheo like a punch to the gut, his chest tightening as the reality of it all began to sink in. You hadn't forgotten him. In all those years, despite everything, you had tried to keep a part of him with you-through Aurora.
He swallowed thickly, his throat constricting. "Why didn't you write me?" he asked, the question soft now, almost a plea. "I could've—hell, I don't know what I could've done, but I would've known. I would've been there in some way. Anything but this."
You sighed, wiping another tear from your cheek. "I didn't think you'd ever get out. I thought..." You took a deep breath, struggling with your words. "I thought it'd be easier if she didn't know. If you didn't know. And I was wrong. I see that now."
He falls silent for a while, his eyes trained on the beautiful girl in your arms.
“She’s really ours?” Mattheo asked, his voice softer now, though the tremor of rage still lurked. “That’s her name? Aurora?”
You nodded, wiping at your cheeks as you pressed a kiss to Aurora’s head. “Yes,” you whispered. “That’s her name.”
Mattheo let out a shaky breath, his heart clenching at the sound of it. Aurora. His daughter. Aurora’s wide eyes met his, so innocent, so big and full of wonder, but also a little shy, hiding in the safety of your arms. She didn’t know him. How could she?
His heart broke even more.
“Well, you do look like quite the princess,” he murmured, his voice soft and careful as if speaking any louder would scare her away.
Aurora’s brow furrowed, still unsure, but Mattheo could see the curiosity shining in her eyes. She stayed pressed against you, her small fingers clutching your shirt.
“Mama,” she whispered, looking up at you, her voice trembling. “Why are you crying?”
Your breath caught as you tried to answer, but words seemed to fail you. Instead, you simply stroked Aurora’s hair, trying to steady yourself. Mattheo watched, helpless, as Aurora’s small hand reached up to touch your cheek.
“It’s okay,” you said softly, forcing a smile that didn’t quite reach your eyes. “I’m just—just a little sad, baby.”
Mattheo could feel the weight of everything pressing down on you both. He had a million questions, a million things he wanted to yell, but none of it would make sense right now. Not with Aurora watching, her innocent eyes darting between the two of you, trying to make sense of something so much bigger than her little world had ever allowed.
“Who is that, Mama?”
"Remember when you asked me where your Daddy was and why he wasn't here?" you whispered to Aurora, your voice shaking as you cradled her close. "Remember how I told you your Daddy loved you, and that he'd find us one day?"
Aurora’s gaze flicked back to Mattheo, her little forehead creasing in confusion.
“That’s him, sweet girl,” you whispered, your voice barely audible. “That’s your Daddy.”
Mattheo’s breath caught in his throat as those words hit him like a tidal wave. That’s your Daddy. For all these years, that’s all he should have been—her father, her protector, her everything—and instead, he was a stranger. He blinked back the sting in his eyes, trying to keep himself together for her sake.
Aurora’s little fingers clung tighter to your shirt as she processed what you’d said. She looked back at Mattheo, her eyes wide and uncertain.
Mattheo’s heart ached with the silence, with the lost years that could never be undone. He wanted to reach out, to touch her, but he knew he couldn’t—at least, not yet. She didn’t know him, and that hurt more than anything else.
You looked down at Aurora, gently prying her small hands from your shirt before setting her down on the ground. “It’s okay,” you whispered softly. “You can say hello.”
Aurora hesitated, her little body leaning toward you, and then slowly, cautiously, she moved to hide behind your legs. Mattheo’s heart squeezed painfully at the sight of her shy little face peeking out at him. His own daughter was scared of him.
He crouched down to her level, making himself as small as he could, hoping it would make him seem less intimidating. He had no idea how to be a father, no idea what to say to this little girl, but he had to try.
“Hey there, Aurora,” he murmured softly, trying to keep his voice gentle, steady. “It’s okay. I’m not going to hurt you.”
She didn’t respond, just kept her wide eyes on him as she clung to the back of your leg. Mattheo’s heart shattered further, but he swallowed hard, forcing a shaky smile.
But Aurora, as shy as she was, was still a child. And as she looked at him again, her small voice broke the silence. "Are you really my daddy?"
Mattheo's throat tightened, the words lodged there, unable to come out. He was scared—terrified, really— of what to say, of how she would react. But he nodded, his voice breaking as he whispered, "Yeah. That's me."
Aurora stared at him, her eyes big and full of questions, her small hands clutching onto your shirt as if grounding herself. But after a long, silent moment, she seemed to relax, her lips parting into the tiniest smile.
"I always wanted one," she said softly, her voice full of innocence. "All my friends at school have daddies. I wanted one too."
His chest ached. He was the stranger here, and yet, in her little mind, he was still the man she had been waiting for. The man you had told her would one day come for her. He could see it— the confusion, the shyness— but there was something else in her eyes too.
She'd been missing him. She just didn't know who he was.
Mattheo's chest ached, the guilt and sorrow clawing at him from the inside. "I wanted to be there," he whispered, his voice cracking. "I wanted to be with you, with both of you. I didn't know."
Aurora looked at him for a moment longer, and then, to Mattheo's shock, she smiled a little wider, still shy but no longer fearful. She reached out tentatively, her small hand gripping his for the first time. The warmth of her touch sent a wave of emotion crashing through him, and for the first time since seeing you again, something inside him shifted. Maybe this wasn't all lost. Maybe he hadn't missed everything.
Aurora giggled softly, her small hand still wrapped around his. She brought her other hand to his face, pressing her palm to his cheek. "You're my daddy," she said again, as if testing out the words.
Mattheo's throat tightened, tears stinging his eyes as he smiled-truly smiled-for the first time in what felt like years. "Yeah, princess," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion. "I'm your daddy."
Aurora's little laugh was music to his ears, and when she finally released his hand, she took a step back, hiding behind your legs again but peeking out from around you with a shy grin.
“You know, when I look at you…” He trailed off, his throat tightening as he swallowed down the lump that had formed there. “I see so much of your mum in you. But I see me too.” He let out a soft, shaky laugh, blinking through the tears that threatened to spill. “You got my curls, huh?”
Aurora’s wide, curious eyes flicked between the two of you, her tiny fingers gripping the fabric of your pants. Mattheo felt a surge of protectiveness, an instinct that told him to reach out, to hold her, to assure her that everything would be okay. But he hesitated, unsure if he even had the right to touch her after all this time. She had been a stranger to him just moments ago, and now… now she was his entire world.
Her small voice broke the silence again, tentative but filled with the kind of honesty only a child could muster. “Do you love my mama?”
Mattheo’s heart lurched at the question. His gaze snapped to you, meeting your teary eyes. The question hung in the air, heavy with expectation. You quickly glanced away, biting your lip as you tried to keep your composure.
Aurora blinked up at him, waiting for an answer. “All my friends’ parents love each other,” she continued, her voice soft, innocent. “They kiss and hold hands. Do you love her?”
Mattheo’s throat tightened, and he felt his pulse quicken. How could he even begin to explain the depth of what he felt? The years apart hadn’t dulled it—if anything, the ache had only grown sharper. You had been his world before Azkaban, and every lonely, torturous day behind bars had been filled with memories of you, of your laugh, your smile, the way you used to look at him as if he was the only person that mattered.
He had loved you then. He loved you still.
But now, standing before you, the mother of his child, the weight of everything left unsaid between you was crushing.
He swallowed hard, his gaze shifting back to Aurora. “Yeah,” he said quietly, his voice thick with emotion. “I do.” Mattheo’s eyes softened as he glanced at you again, his heart aching with everything he wanted to say. “I’ve always loved her,” he admitted, his voice low but firm. “I’ve never stopped.”
You looked at him, your lips trembling as another tear slid down your cheek. You were trying so hard to be strong, but the years of separation had taken their toll on both of you. And now, with Aurora standing between you, the bond that had once been so unbreakable felt fragile, like it could snap at any moment.
Aurora, still holding onto your pants, tilted her head, watching the two of you with that same curiosity. “Mama,” she said softly, “why are you crying again?”
You let out a shaky breath, wiping your tears with the back of your hand. “I’m okay, baby,” you whispered, brushing a hand through her hair in a soothing gesture. “It’s just… a lot.”
Mattheo stood up slowly, running a hand through his curls, trying to compose himself. He felt a swell of love for you, something he had been suppressing in his anger. You had raised this beautiful little girl all on your own, carrying the burden of their absence in silence. You had done it for Aurora—for him. And even though he was furious that you had kept it all from him, a part of him understood. You were protecting her, protecting yourself.
He took a deep breath, his voice soft but unsteady as he spoke again. “I missed everything,” he whispered, more to himself than to you. “Her birth, her first words, her first steps... all of it. I wasn’t there.”
You flinched, guilt flashing across your face. “Mattheo, I—”
“No,” he cut you off gently, shaking his head. “I’m not trying to blame you. I just… I missed it all. And I don’t know how to make that right.”
Aurora, sensing the tension, leaned into you, her arms wrapping around your leg. “Mama, is Daddy staying with us?”
Mattheo’s heart clenched at the word. Daddy. He had never thought he would hear it—never thought it was even possible. But now, hearing Aurora say it so casually, so innocently, it hit him all over again. This was his daughter. His family.
“I’m not going anywhere,” he promised, crouching down again to her level, his voice gentle as he tried to meet her eyes. “I’m going to be here. I’m going to make it right, okay?”
Aurora blinked, processing his words, and then her lips curved into a small, shy smile. She still seemed a bit confused, but there was a trust forming, something fragile but real.
She looked up at you, her tiny voice full of hope. “Does Daddy love me too?”
You sucked in a breath, your eyes flicking to Mattheo, waiting for him to answer. His throat tightened, but he didn’t hesitate this time.
“More than anything,” he whispered, his voice cracking slightly as he held her gaze. “I love you, Aurora. I loved you before I even knew you were here.”

teacups and princesses | max verstappen
an: i’ve never been to disneyworld/land so sorry if anything is wrong lol
Tumblr media
Max had promised Ophelia a trip to Disney World whenever they made it to Miami. That’s all the little girl could talk about. She even made a list of all the things she wanted to do and characters she wanted to meet. Max would do anything to see his baby girl happy so your little family of three arrived to America earlier than you usually would so Ophelia could spend a day at Disney.
Max wanted her day to feel magical so he bought her an identical sleeping beauty dress and pink glittery flats instead of those plastic heels that came worth the dress.
“Papa, you have to wear the ears!” Ophelia pointed at the Mickey wars that were on display. “Please!”
“You think papa would look cute in them?” Max grabbed her hand and walked with her to the store. You couldn’t help but take a picture of them.
“Yes! And mama can wear this one!” Ophelia pointed to the Minnie ears.
“Oh, mama is going to look so beautiful in these. Can you pick some ears for me? I want to look beautiful like mama.” Max grabbed the Minnie ears and placed them on your head. He then took his phone out and took a picture of you.
Ophelia was taking the job of finding the perfect Mickey ears for Max very seriously. She had changed her mind at least four times. When she spotted the perfect ones, she immediately grabbed them and showed them to her dad.
“I love them, phee. Here, put them on.” He crouched down so Ophelia could place the ears on his head.
“You look pretty! But mama looks prettier.” The girl giggled.
“I’ll take that.” Max chuckled.
After paying for the ears, the first stop was a ride that Ophelia had been wanting to ride for a while. The line for the teacups was a little long, but Max kept Ophelia entertained by asking her the most random questions.
“If you were a any color of the rainbow, which one would you be?”
Ophelia thought about it. Orange? No, she didn’t like it. Blue? Not even close.
“I wanna be every color!”
“That’s what I was going to say!” Max replied.
“What about you mama? What color of the rainbow would you be?” Ophelia asked you.
“I would be red. I love the color red.” You nodded.
“Traitor!” Max said jokingly.
After a while, it was your turn to ride the teacups. A while back Ophelia had told Max she wanted to ride the pink teacup so Max, wanting to be the best dad ever, raced to get to the pink teacup first.
“You know you were the only adult running for a teacup, right?” You laughed at Max. You helped Ophelia get into the teacup.
“If my girl wants the pink teacup, she’s getting the pink teacup.”
When the ride started, you all turned the wheel as fast as you could since Ophelia wanted to go super fast. Hearing your daughter laugh was like a sweet song that you never wanted to end.
“Faster!” Ophelia yelled.
You looked at Max. The smile on his face never left. It warmed your heart seeing him so happy.
When the ride ended, you were all tired from turning the wheel. You were pretty sure your arms were about to fall off, but it was worth it.
“Where to next, princess Ophelia?” Max questioned.
“I want to meet Mickey and Minnie and Sleeping beauty and Cinderella . . .” She listed all the characters she wanted to meet.
Of course Max made it all possible. He never broke his promises when it came to you and Ophelia.
As you walked around, you were on the search for sleeping beauty. Ophelia was getting disappointed that she was no where to be found, but her dad assured her that she would meet sleeping beauty.
“Phee, look over there.” You pointed towards a small group of children that were gathered around Princess Aurora.
Ophelia looked and practically fainted at the sight of her favorite princess. “Mama! Papa! It’s sleeping beauty!” She pointed at the blonde princess.
“Let’s go!” Max grabbed Ophelia’s hand.
When you got to where sleeping beauty was, Ophelia had gone shy. She was in the presence of her favorite Disney princess, how could she not be shy?
“Look at you! We have matching dresses! Oh, I love your shoes!” Princess Aurora told Ophelia.
“My papa got them for me.” She said in a low tone.
“Well your papa definitely picked the most beautiful shoes for you. They’re so glittery, I love them. Can I keep them?”
“But they’re too small for you!” Ophelia laughed at the thought of the princess wearing tiny shoes.
“You’re right,” the princess said sadly. “But maybe we can ask someone with magic to make the shoes bigger?”
“Wait! My papa knows where to buy these shoes but bigger for you! And then we can match more!”
You and Max watch the whole interaction with smiles on your faces. It was too cute.
“You know, Ophelia asked me when is she going to have a baby brother because she’s our princess and now we need a prince.” Max told you.
“And what do you think?” You ask him.
“I think . . . that’s she’s right.”
“A boy. A mini you.” You kissed Max. “Just you, me and our little girl and boy, sounds like the perfect dream.”

Period headcannon
Gavi
- Pablo has a sister so he knows about periods and understands that you won't be feeling your best overall before and during your period
- As much as he knows about periods when it comes to you it's different he used to just ignore Aurora and try not to interact with her too much but he cant do that with you and he doesn't want to as he wants to make you feel as good as he can
- To find out what to do he calls his sister who helpfully goes over all the details which Pablo hated hearing but he listened for you he even wrote some things down so he wouldn't forget anything he was supposed to do or get
- After talking to his sister he goes out and buys all sorts of things like all your favourite snacks and plenty of chocolate as well as a selection of pads and tampons which was a complete minefield to him so he just picked up a range of things and hopes for the best
- He will do pretty much anything for you when you are on your period if you finish your water he's up and refilling it for you before you can even move to do it yourself and he'll make dinner for you especially on the days when your cramps are the worst
- Once Pablo gets used to being around you when you're on your period he really is the best he always knows what will make you feel better and he's willing to cuddle anytime you want which he does when you’re not on your period but he's especially cuddly when it's your time of the month
Pedri
- Pedri isn't stupid so he knows what periods entail but his mum tells him more things he should know when he told her about your relationship so he definitely has a pretty good idea of what goes on with your body
- As much as he has some knowledge his mum made it very clear that periods are different for everyone and so he was very aware that he'd have to get used to what it was like for you and how you feel on any given day
- It doesn't take him too long to work out things like when your cramps are going to be at their worst and when you will be feeling the most sensitive he also picks up on the signs that your period is due soon so he roughly knows when to go out and get you all your favourite snacks
- Pedri is really good at dealing with whatever you throw at him for example he knows when you are angry it's nothing to do with him it's just your hormones making you act like that so you don't mean to be short with him and he understands that
- He knows exactly what to do when you are feeling certain emotions when you are angry he knows to give you some time alone when you are feeling upset he knows exactly how to comfort you as well which is usually with lots of cuddles
- Pedri always wants to keep you happy especially during your period so he’s more than happy to do whatever you need him to do that will keep you happy and make life a bit easier
Jude
- Jude quickly learns what not to do or say when you are on your period which he definitely learns the hard way
- He made the fatal mistake of calling you moody one time after you'd had a small argument which did not go well for him as it only made you more angry for a few minutes before your burst into tears all of which took Jude by surprise but after a scolding by his mum he learnt to not do that again
- From that day on he never utters the word moody ever again instead he learnt that during your period you are more fragile mentally and things that wouldn't get to you on a normal day can make you cry for hours
- To make you feel better he always gives you lots of compliments on anything that he knows you can be insecure about on a normal day he also makes sure to tell you that he loves and that he thinks you are beautiful just the way you are
- Even when you are being moody Jude just leaves you be because it never lasts long and he's found it's best if he doesn't try and help because he can never do it right so it only makes you mad at him which neither of you need
- Most months Jude gets you flowers when you are on your period as he notices that little things make you happy and it's something he can do quite easily that you always really love
Joao
- Joao is always prepared for when your period comes he keeps the bathroom stocked with the products you use and he makes sure that you have the right pain killers in the house as there are certain ones you like to take to help with cramps
- He usually has a pretty good idea of when your period is due he doesn't track it a he thinks that's weird but he is able to pick up on the pms symptoms you get which gives him a pretty good indication
- He likes to know when your period is due so that it doesn't catch him off guard as that has happened a few times and when you come home in tears after work he always thinks something bad has happened but that’s never been the case so he likes to prepare himself for the few days of heightened emotions and pain you'll be experiencing
- When he can he likes to make your favourite meals for dinner as not only does it mean you don't have to cook but having your favourite comfort foods always makes you feel better and Joao likes to be able to make your day just a little better when he can
- Another common occurrence is relaxing nights on the sofa usually by the end of the day you don't want to do much so when Joao is home you both cuddle on the sofa under a blanket together watching movies or whatever tv show you've been watching together at that time
- Joao likes to try and make you feel as happy as possible on your period everything he does is to make you happy because he knows you never feel your best during that week so if he can brighten your day in any way he will
Hector
- The first time you told Hector that you were on your period he freaked out a bit he didn't expect you just to say it and he didn't know what to do as he didn't want to do or say the wrong thing and upset you or make you mad
- He is quick to text some of his older friends who have girlfriends and ask them what he should do and after making fun of him for freaking out and acting like you were some sort of alien they told him the best things to do for you
- From then he's pretty good he knows to just read each situation as it arises if you seem down or upset then he knows to try and cheer you up but if you are getting frustrated with something he knows to just let you rant or leave you alone
- Hector will usually do pretty much everything you ask so if you want ice cream he will get you some as quickly as he possibly can even it involves going to the store to buy some, sometimes you don't even have to ask he will just greet you with your favourite chocolates when he sees you
- He will also go and buy you pads/tampons if you are out but it will take him over an hour and require many texts to you as he doesn't know what all of it means although eventually he figures it out and gets what you need
- He's always extra sweet to you when you're on your period as he definitely wouldn't want to go through that every month so he likes to treat you even more like a princess than he usually would as he thinks you deserve all the extra love
Marc
- Marc always does his best to be as supportive as possible when you're on your period whether that's giving you someone to rant to, a shoulder to cry on or just simply being there he'll do all of that just to make you feel better
- He knows that being on your period isn't much fun and he knows that the hormones mess with your self confidence so he likes to make sure you feel beautiful at all times because he really does think you're perfect so he doesn't want you thinking you are anything less than that
- Marc is always really helpful when you're on your period he always likes to bring you lunch while you're at school and if he can stay to eat with you he will and he will help you with any homework or assignments you have too as sometimes your brain just isn't working properly so he helps keep you on track and figure things out
- Another thing Marc does is give you his clothes to wear he knows that being on your period is just generally uncomfortable so you like to dress as comfy and cozy as possible and Marc is happy to facilitate that by topping up your wardrobe
- Whenever he sees you he brings another one of his hoodies for you and it's always one he's sprayed with his cologne as well because he knows you love that and you will secretly sit there and sniff anything he gives you which you think he doesn't notice but he does
- Over the week or so of your period Marc just becomes the best boyfriend he's like an angel not that he doesn't treat you well on any normal day but he's extra attentive and sweet during that time as he knows you don't need anything else on your plate

‘Promise’ - Javier ‘Javi’ x Kate Carter & F! reader (angst!)
someone asked for a part two and I realized how good of an idea that was lmao. I need indirect ways to incorporate my past experiences into my fics anyway.
part one
prompt: you made a promise to distance yourself from Javi and Kate
TW: mentions of smoking, some detailed mention of self harm, suicidal thoughts, mentions of nausea, disordered eating, breakdowns, smoking, angst :(
Do NOT proceed if the triggers mentioned above upset you greatly. You have been warned.
Tumblr media
I made a promise
To distance myself
Once Tyler dropped you off to the train station, you smiled and waved until you couldn’t see his truck anymore. You wanted to hang onto any last string of familiarity for as long as you could.
Especially since your life would change completely - for better or worse.
You took a deep breath, closing your eyes for a moment, trying to calm down your trembling body.
5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
5 things you see - the train station, the crumbling yellow bricks, the jolly red-white-blue american flag, your luggage, and the people. Lots of people.
4 things you hear - the people, obviously, the cicadas crying, the heavy bell ringing inside, the honking of cars for you to get out of their way.
3 things you smell - the heat - somehow, the smell of smoke from cars, and the thick air.
2 things you feel - terrified. hurt.
1 thing you taste - bitterness.
Shaking your head, you take another deep breath. Eyes dead set on the mission in front of you, you marched into the train station, bought a ticket to Oklahoma City, and settled down inside.
But now was the hardest part; waiting. What made it harder was you didn’t want to think about anything that happened yesterday. So, putting your headphones on, you made a playlist with none of the songs that reminded you of Javi or any of the ones he recommended to you. Essentially, you just listened to 3 songs in total, over and over again, but the knowledge you knew what was coming next was comforting, something you couldn’t apply to your current situation.
Took a flight, through aurora skies
Honestly, I didn't think about
How we didn't say goodbye
Just see you very soon
You woke up when the train jolted to a stop - you had fallen asleep, waking up to hear the opening notes of some song you were listening to earlier. Looking out the window, you reached Oklahoma City. With a sigh of relief and trepidation, you got your bags and headed out of the station, hailed a taxi to the airport. Booking a last minute flight back home to LA, you made your way to the gate. Setting your bag down, you sat in a char near the huge windows. Deciding it wasn’t close enough, you sat on the little raised platform attached to the window and leaned your head against it like you saw so many children do.
The boarding call was announced, and everyone sat up groggily. It all went by pretty quickly. Standing in line, getting your boarding pass stamped and your passport checked, finding you seat, putting your bag away and sitting down. Taxi and take off was a blur; luckily you got a window seat, and stared out at the pink clouds, tinted by the setting sun, a peach tone.
Peachy, just like your favourite pie.
You groaned, covering your eyes and rubbing them as your mind started to think about Oklahoma. About Javi, and the last time he saw you. And the last thing he said to you. It wasn’t even a proper goodbye, but you couldn’t blame him because he didn’t know it was goodbye.
And honestly, neither did you.
But you made yourself a promise - to distance yourself.
Those last words of his echoed in your mind.
“I- Okay, alright. Take care, (Y/N)”
It hurts to be something
It's worse to be nothing with you
You half expected a text from Javi - it had been around 24 hours since you last saw him. Since you told him you had a ‘family emergency’ to take care of. Who wouldn’t expect a little ‘you doing okay?’ or ‘safe travels’ when someone saw you break down in the middle of a field, distressed as hell? Sure, you and Javi weren’t dating, sure you both drifted apart ever since Kate got closer with him instead, but were you two not even friends anymore?
Did you mean nothing to him?
This wasn’t the first time he ghosted you - after the EF5 tornado, he didn’t say a word to you. But it was understandable why - everyone was hurting, and maybe he couldn’t bring himself to talk to you. In Oklahoma, the only times he’d talk to you is when you started a conversation, otherwise you could sit silently and he’d happily talk with Kate, leaving you be. It was never him starting anything.
And Kate. Did she figure out you liked Javi? Is that why she didn’t text you? Did she feel guilty? Part of you wanted her to feel guilty, but the other part of you didn’t want to be pitied. Part of you wanted to go back, but this - this was best for you right now. Nobody could tell you otherwise.
Instead, you got a text from Tyler.
‘hey there cowgirl - how you getting along?’
You chuckled - ‘cowgirl’ was probably the worst way to describe yourself. Instead, you typed down a response, your heart a little less heavy.
‘hey, Tyler. thanks for asking. means a lot’
He was typing, the three dots appearing on screen
‘of course. lemme know if you need anything at all okay? stay safe out there’
You sent him an affirmative text, thankful to actually have a friend who cared enough to check in on you, helping you out without questioning anything, having only known you for a week.
So I didn't call you
For sixteen long days
You found comfort in some form of familiarity in your life; back home in LA, everything looked duller, more still. Like the whole world knew about your heartbreak and was mourning, or mocking you. You tried to plunge into work, distracting yourself but sometimes, you’d just stare at your work, screen or paper, and just zone out. Your was brain still trying to process everything, and you were losing a lot over it - sleep, peace, overall joy, your will to wake up, and more.
It felt like after the EF5 tornado but worse because you knew somewhere in Oklahoma, Kate was with Javi, both of them happier than ever. It felt worse because you could never have him anymore. He was gone. And someone got to see him every day, sometimes wake up next to him, sometimes stay up all night with him. You felt like you were gonna be sick.
For a fortnight, all you could eat was cheese, bread, and grapes. It was the only thing you could keep down.
It was so hard not to text Javi. After you had just left, it’s like you were isolated for 5 years, given a taste of him, then forcing yourself to stay away. It was something you chose to do, not something you were forced to live with.
But you won’t call him. No matter how long the days felt they were dragging by.
And I should get a cigarette
For so much restraint
Walking by a drugstore to entertain yourself, you entered the establishment with an electronic ding notifying your presence. Strolling through the ailes, you picked up Sourhead Extremes (so in case you wanted to call Javi, you’d have to go through a gustatory agony first) and some nail polish, just to look pretty. Walking to the cashier, you mindlessly threw in a pack of cigarettes onto the counter, before putting them back in a jerky motion.
“What the hell…” you murmured to yourself, ashamed of what you were about to do. Buy cigarettes - to smoke.
Walking out of the store briskly, you speed-walked home; chiding yourself for almost ‘rewarding’ your no contact mission by smoking, you realized how truly pathetic you were.
“God, what is wrong with me…” you muttered, keeping your head down, watching the wet streets reflect the light of the sun and your dark sorrow.
No matter how long I resist temptation
I will always lose,
Eventually you did buy the cigarettes. You went home, lounging in your bed, a pretty china plate acting like an ashtray for you. Legs up in the air, swinging occasionally, eyes half lidded from the light high, you felt the chalky smoke fill your lungs, watching it come out in little clouds of grey air.
You felt in control for the first time since leaving Oklahoma - the cigarette sitting pretty between your red tinted fingers and lips. You smiled softly, satisfied by finally scoring a small win. You didn’t tell Tyler that you smoked. He’d say it’s a horrible habit you should give up.
Obviously it was more of a lose - giving into an impulse, and now you were at risk of falling deeper into addiction. You weren’t in control, you never really were.
But why would you make yourself feel worse when you were on the literal brink of crumbling?
Although, you didn’t get addicted. After the high wore off, you felt disgusted, throwing out the pack of almost full cigarettes. You wouldn’t tell Tyler, of course.
It hurts to be something
It’s worse to be nothing with you
Two weeks went by, and though you pretended everything was okay, it really wasn’t. You didn’t know if you missed Javi or not, but you really didn’t want to.
You don’t know if you want to see the face you loved so much, the face that lights up when he sees Kate, the face that Kate holds, kisses, caresses.. the face that she admires alongside you.
You wanted to get over him, you really did, but you cared so much about him. You didn’t want to stop caring about him, when loving him felt so… lovely.
But it hurt so much.
You barely got any sleep this past fortnight. Having a reverie about the man who daydreamed about another woman. The things you wished he did to you, he did to Kate. He was hers. So assured, so confident. No doubt in that.
For a fortnight, there you were, stripped of any text backs from him.
You were starting to think you just wanted his attention, which you dont know if you wanted anymore, knowing his attention belonged to Kate. Why would you care so much about him texting you?
But then again, weren’t you two friends?
I’ve done the math
There’s no solution
We’ll never last
Why can’t I let go of this?
Right now, you, broken, needed comfort. May it be fake hope again. Nobody was there to stop you anyway, so in your free time, you started to think of the ways Kate and Javi would have problems with each other.
‘She’s too arrogant sometimes, and he’s really down to earth’
‘She can’t communicate her feelings!’
‘Kate’s one to settle, Javi isn’t’
Of course, you knew it was wrong. Of course it was a bitchy thing to think. But who were you to care right now?
You were hurt, and you needed to feel better to even try and start to get a grip on reality. you didn’t want to rip of the band aid yet.
Not yet.
Even worse, your mind started thinking of ways you and Javi could get together; Kate could leave him in the dark again, she could get into a fight with him…
But nothing made sense - she wouldn’t leave when she looked at him that way… and any fights would be cleared quickly with Javi’s forgiving nature.
He would do anything for her.
All in all, you realized how shitty you were being, and texted Tyler, saying you couldn’t hide from Javi - couldn’t hide from the pain that haunted you. The bright lights of LA looked dull. The sun felt like a false light.
Your world was falling apart, how could the sun be shining when your world was falling apart?
‘Just walk around. Wear something that makes you feel good. Grab some good lunch downtown. Spoil yourself. Act like a damn tourist, I don’t care. Just do anything that reminds you that there’s more to life than Javi’ he wrote.
So I broke my promise
I called you last night
I shouldn’t have, I wouldn’t have
If it weren’t for the sight of a boy who
Looked just like you standing out on Melrose Avenue…
It hurts to be something
It’s worse to be nothing, with you.
Three days later, you sat on the roof of a building. The sun was setting, you looked at the streets below. People were walking - their dogs, their toddlers, and whatnot.
You were so disappointed with yourself. Closing your eyes, you thought back to everything that happened yesterday.
Following Tyler’s advice, you woke up ready to face the day.
Waking up bright and early, you went for a run, saw some pretty things on the way. You found it insane how easy it was to overlook the small things in life.
Coming home, you made breakfast; oatmeal with bananas, almond butter and chocolate chips. You savoured every bite with a smile.
You hopped into the shower, using your favourite body wash. Putting on an outfit, doing your hair and makeup, slipping on your shoes, you left the house, ready to explore the city…
All was going well until sunset.
You were walking along the streets of LA, acting like you’d never seen anything like it before. A coffee in hand, you walked confidently down the path, turning a corner to browse a bookstore on Melrose Avenue, when someone caught your eye.
A boy, waiting for the light signal to turn green, who looked exactly like Javi.
You froze.
Suddenly, you didn’t want coffee any more. You didn’t want anything right now but to go home.
You rushed home, trying so hard to control your breathing, then stumbling desperately to your room. As soon as your face crashed against the pillows, the soft, gentle fabric a perfect medium to absorb the tears now flowing down your face. You sobbed, curled into a still-bedazzled ball on your bed, hugging yourself, contracting into a fibonacci.
Reaching for your purse, you pulled out your phone, scrolling through your contacts. Through the wet and blurry lens of your tears, you scrolled into the alphabet until you reached the ‘J’ section. The first name was Javi.
Pressing on his name, then the ‘call’ button, you held it to your ear, taking shuddering breaths as you tried calming yourself down. The your phone cooed like a pigeon, signalling his phone, somewhere in Oklahoma, was ringing.
You were clean. Clean for a little over 2 weeks. Clean from his voice ringing in your ears, new words exchanged and whatnot.
But as you held your phone in your hand, crying, watching it reach Javi’s phone, waiting for him to answer, it all felt like a relapse.
Like the feeling of the cool blade on your skin, slicing through, leaving an angry red river in its wake.
The sick, high feeling you get from it - the ecstasy, watching you destroy yourself, finding beauty in the rubble.
Some part of you, the logical part of you was screaming to press the red button. To leave Javi alone. It wasn’t fair for you to reach out first, right? Why would you make a fool out of yourself by calling him? You’re not that desperate for him, are you?
But the hurt, emotional, desperate part of you didn’t, daring him to answer. Just to remind him of your existence. Just this once.
Still fighting the internal battle, you delved deeper into why he didn’t call you yet.
Did Kate tell him everything? Did she finally find out? Did she realize at all about how hurt you were?
The anger only just started to hit you, claiming your brain as a new population to be corrupted, a new host for the parasite, a new fruit to rot.
You were mad. You didn’t know at who. But you decided you were mad at Kate. For dating him. You knew it was wrong to be mad, because you had no claim over Javi, but you were too deep into your anger to actually think of a better way to cope. Suddenly, you were so mad at Kate. So, so mad. Part of you wanted to tear your house down, scream like a mad woman, but you didn’t. Your dwindling self control kept you in check.
Then came the sadness. You were so mad at Kate, but she was so happy right now. She didn’t care or know how your felt right now. how hurt you felt right now. She had Javi. Her Javi. And they were both happy - oh so happy, oh so blissfully unaware of how you felt right now.
They were happy - they were perfectly fine without you. Because they didn’t need you as a friend, not like they did in college - maybe they didn’t back then either, because they had each other. That’s all they needed. Each other was all they needed.
You were so deep into the crevices of your mind, drowning in both pain and relief, you almost didn’t hear your name drenched in Javi’s voice coming from the speaker.
‘[name]?’
follow + stay tuned for part three!!

I know your requests are currently closed, but I have this adorable idea for a story featuring Pablo.
How about a future story where the reader attends a wedding with him and his family? They decide to wear matching outfits. Before his family member's wedding, when they see each other in their wedding attire, he wants to give the reader a kiss. She asks him to kiss her gently so that her lipstick/lip gloss won’t smudge, and they share a very cute moment together. Maybe even his parents or Aurora tease them playfully, but in a fun and non-offensive way.
Hope you like the idea, and maybe consider writing it in the future! I just wanted to share my thoughts with you
the sweetest wedding guests - pablo gavi
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: gavi and you attend his aunt‘s wedding
genre: so fluffy it actually hurt to write
a/n: i‘m so sorry anon for taking so long but here you go😭, also quite short:/
———
„Mija you look beautiful!“ Belen cooed as she entered her daughter’s room, peeking inside to see how far you two were.
Aurora proposed the idea of getting ready together, that way saving time instead of having to pick you up from home. Your boyfriend Gavi still had recovery and only got the afternoon off by persuading his physiotherapist with optimistic words and promises to work even harder next week.
Of course they let him go to his aunts wedding, but they loved to lead him on for a bit.
You‘ve met Gavi‘s family countless of times, but a wedding still was something special and exciting. Everyone would be dressed pretty, dance around and smile all night long, celebrating the love between two beautiful people.
You already felt giddy inside when thinking about Gavi in a suit, getting ready in the locker room of the facility, only to get teased by his teammates. You could literally see his annoyed glare, flipping his friends off while trying to adjust his tie.
„Thank you Ma.“ You both simultaneously replied, giggling once you realized. It was just so normal for you to call Belen your „Mamá“ as you were a part of their family since childhood. What was friendship between Gavi and you in third grade first, turned into love during teenage years.
Also Aurora and you were like sisters, lending each other’s clothes, makeup or got ready together like now.
After finally being done with everything, Pablo senior drove you all to the Ciutat Esportiva to pick up his son and head to the wedding venue.
Pablo elegantly stood there waiting, hands put relaxed in his pockets while your eyes widened at the sight of your boyfriend.
„You’re drooling by the way.“ Javi sassily commented, nudging your shoulder which you quickly swatted away.
„Shut up. Who was trying to come inside Aurora‘s room like two hundred times to see their girlfriend?“ You questioned back, knowing exactly you had him there. Aurora only quietly giggled, patting Javi‘s thigh softly.
Your gaze quickly turned back to Gavi who was now walking to the car, his smile spread wide across his face. He looked absolutely stunning to you, your mind already drifting to the next event where he would need to wear a suit - the ballon d‘or ceremony 2025. Or you hoped one of your friends would marry soon, so you could take him with you as a plus one.
„Bon dia!“ Pablo chimed, sitting down next to you and patted your thigh softly like he did ever so often.
After everyone greeted him, you turned your head to face Pablo, flashing him a toothy grin.
„You look good.“ You stated, cheeks turning red, hoping none of his family members heard.
Pablo immediately smiled even more, quickly leaning in to give you a small kiss.
“Thank you amor, you look stunning yourself. But I need to have another proper look at you once we get there.“ He flirted, winking at you while he took your hand in his. Javi and Aurora would tease you from time to time, even getting Pablo Senior to join them, but Belen and Gavi shot back with their own little teasing comments.
You were used to it - banter and jokes were a big part in the Paèz Gavira family and after all, they loved to see how you two felt about each other.
The car drive was short and you soon already greeted the bride and groom, as well as the rest of Pablo‘s loving family.
Pablo and you stood a bit behind the rest, just quietly observing the bustling ambiance until his head leaned down a bit.
„You look gorgeous mi amor.“ He whispered, his gaze still trailing over your figure. You turned to face him, your manicured hands softly pushing a lock away from his forehead. His hands found your waist and his gaze was now fully focused on your eyes. You only smiled, being too shy to say anything in that moment. Even though you had been together for almost five years now, Pablo still made you feel nervous and shy, what he of course loved to achieve.
„¿Puedo besarte?“ („can I kiss you?”) Pablo asked so quietly that only you could hear, already pulling you a bit closer to himself.
„Of course, just gently, I just reapplied the lipgloss back in the car.“ You giggled, placing your hands on his chest as Pablo leaned down to peck your lips softly, trying not to smudge your gloss.
„I don’t think Isabel needs to throw the bouquet anymore! We have our next bride and groom right here.“ One of Pablo’s close cousins teased, making your boyfriend and you blush at the same time.
„I actually wouldn’t mind that. She‘ll be my future wife anyway.“ Pablo playfully shot back at him, earning laughter from his friends and family.
„Te quiero.“ You turned your focus back on your boyfriend to give him a second and last kiss, before heading to your designated table with him strolling behind.

It was finally spring. Its arrival had always been a cherished event in the Woodland Realm, and this year was no different. A homely warmth seeped into Thranduil's skin, embracing him tenderly. The royal garden, awash with the tender hues of spring, was alive with the soft whisper of cherry blossoms. The sun’s tender touch enlivened soft petals that danced in the wind. They swirled, fluttering gently to the ground like the delicate brush of eyelashes in the morning. The King stood, a spectator to the seasons, his thoughts drifting back in time.
Many springs ago, this very garden witnessed the first meeting of Thanduil and his beloved wife. It had been an arranged marriage, as is custom for elven royalty. The sun had been gleaming with the same fond brightness as it was now. It cast a golden hue that glittered in the iridescent dew that adorned the grass: nature's pearls. He was waiting with bated breath to meet his betrothed when she floated in. A breath of life. A sigh of sunshine. Ripples of grass blossomed beneath each step she took, leaving a constellation of wildflowers and daisies behind her.  The air was thick with pollen, heavy with the promise of new life. Otherworldly, even amongst elves. Her very essence seemed intertwined with the earth, and the elven king had been entranced from that first moment.
“Thranduil,” her voice had been soft, melodic, “it is an honour to meet you.”
“And you, my lady,” he had replied, bowing with a grace befitting a king, though his heart had skittered like that of a newborn deer. His eyes of starlight met hers, the deep hue of the sun at dawn. Sunshine incarnate, flowers bloomed before her, but none more so than the elven king. Her smile made the world itself seem dim, her laugh was purer than the tinkling of a rushing stream. He had worn his finest robes, plaited his silver, moonlight, hair in traditional braids. Yet, hers was ornate beyond compare, decorated with a rainbow of blooms, as opalescent as an aurora.
In that moment, two souls had entwined, as is common in elven life-bonds. Once a sapling, their marriage blossomed into a bond that neither could have anticipated. The famously icy temperament of the king thawed beneath her touch and gaze. He melted before her. Their hands, desperate for the nourishing affection of the other, would reach out, hopeful, longing like ancient roots seeking water. The time in his life before her was but a shadow of a memory, too distant and too dark to recall.
"My King," a loving voice broke his reverie. She approached, eternally radiant, still leaving a trail of blossoming flowers behind her.
"My queen," he replied, his voice thick with warmth and reverence.
She joined him. "It is a beautiful day, is it not?" she asked, her hand slipping into his, fitting perfectly as it always had.
"It is." He replied, their eyes met, twinkling with the same light that had captivated the other all those years ago.
Together, they stood in silence, watching the cherry blossoms continue to dance in the breeze. The soft murmur of spring stirred around them. The garden, once a witness to the beginning of their love, now stands testament to its enduring strength. Its growth, how they had flourished, was much like the nature that his queen so cherished.
As they stood there, enveloped in the beauty of spring, they both knew that their love would continue to bloom, season after season, for all eternity.

OCTOBER SUN pt.10
You were six, sitting on your sister Aurora's lap in a hospital room. Monitors beeped—long intervals, pitched notes—and, below that, your great-aunt's rattled breathing. Everything stank of disinfectant.
Ginny lay in the bed; pruned and pale, translucent skin hanging from her bones. She was just past seventy, but had aged several decades in the two weeks since the symptoms had started. Now, she looked like the skeletons your neighbors strung up for Halloween. Ghastly. Small.
Dead.
Mommy dozed in the armchair across from you, her head at an awkward angle, mouth ajar, one hand rested on her swollen belly. For days, she'd subsisted on nothing but good ol' fashioned Celtic stubbornness, running herself into the ground to undo whatever had put Ginny in the hospital. Nothing worked. Potions, pastes, blood spells, smudging rituals; it didn't matter what Mommy and Nanna did, Ginny's doctor insisted her condition was deteriorating.
It was so strange, you thought, that Ginny didn't just tell them herself. After all, she was able to stand in front of you without assistance and seemed much healthier than she had even moments ago.
She'd been asleep, silvery and thin and wheezy, and then her eyes had popped open and she'd gotten to her feet with the grace of a ballerina. Auburn hair in fluffy curls, pinned neatly away from her face; lips bright, Victory red, and skin peachy.
She was as pretty as a picture in a church bell skirt and smart, collared blouse, the colors much more suited to her than the starch white of the hospital gown. The pendant of her necklace was now one of a pair dangling from her earlobes, silver circles glinting in the sterile light.
"Are you better?" You asked her, marveling at her loveliness.
Ginny crouched to meet you at your level and placed her hand on yours, green eyes bright as emeralds in the sun. She smiled, "Don't tell mummy. This will be our little secret." She addressed Aurora next, "I'll be back as soon as I can, pet."
Aurora nodded, solemn, and you both watched Ginny greet a young man in similarly outdated dress as he entered the room. You didn't know who he was, but Aurora must've because she offered him a watery smile, eyes glistening.
"Where's Ginny going?" You asked her.
She shushed you, murmuring, "You can't tell mom, okay?"
Annoyed, "I won't." You weren't 3, you knew how to keep a secret. You'd kept plenty for your new friend Hana. Like her crush on the crayon stealer, Simon Elroy, or how she always took two milks at recess instead of one.
"She's saying hello to Grandpa Jack." Aurora told you, but you sensed there was a lot more to it than that. You gave her your best glare. She rolled her eyes, "They're probably going to try and find out what's wrong with her."
But, "She's better, dummy," you said, craning your neck to watch her swan out of the room with a man who'd died before you were born.
Aurora sighed the way she did whenever she thought you said something stupid and pressed her hand to your cheek, forcing you to look at the bed.
You gasped, astonished that, there, under the layers of quilts your Nanna had brought, was Ginny; breath rattling, monitors beeping, white as a china doll and asleep.
That was how you learned that Traveling meant something different to your family.
‗‗‗‗•‗‗‗‗
One second you were clung to Wally like a limpet, the next you'd vanished into thin air. Snapped out of existence like you'd never been there at all. Frantic, Wally looked left, right, to the back of the stage, and then spun around to face the rows of seats.
His jaw dropped, blood draining from his face. You stood at the top of the center aisle, shirt no longer rucked up the way Wally had made it; hair as tidy as it had been before he'd run his fingers through it; skin no longer sporting the perfect blush he'd coaxed to the surface.
Even from where he stood, Wally could see that your eyes burned a nebula of colors, the way they had when Wally caught up to you outside the school earlier. As soon as he'd registered it—proof that something magical had just transpired—they dimmed to their normal hue, just as the man behind you, Mr. Anderson, Wally identified, demanded, "What are you doing in here?"
He seemed angry, more so than the time Wally had watched him chew out a group of boys in the locker room showers for smoking weed. Mr. Anderson grabbed you by the arm and hauled you out of the theater like you'd been trespassing.
Wally charged up the aisle, thoughts of how you could fucking teleport taking a back seat to the desire to shove Mr. Anderson to the ground for assuming he had the right to touch you like that. The connection between you and Wally bittered, shrieked, fear and fury swirling together to pump through Wally's veins.
Oh hell no.
"I'm sorry," You apologized. Mr. Anderson released you, causing you to stumble from the momentum he'd used to force you into the hallway. "I won't let it happen again."
In an ill-fated attempt to wedge himself between you and Mr. Anderson, Wally checked the man's shoulder with his own, but little happened. Mr. Anderson had repositioned himself, almost like he'd anticipated the action, and the intention waned into a light graze. One that had no impact on the man, but that caused Wally to trip into the wall.
Mr. Anderson escorted you through the school toward your locker, gravely explaining that you'd overstayed your welcome by an hour and a half; the Wednesday team practices and club activities already packed up and gone.
Glancing outside, Wally was shocked to see the sky was dark. Apparently, making out with you was the equivalent of pressing a giant PAUSE button on the fourth dimension. He was sure no more than twenty minutes had passed since you'd jumped into his arms and kissed him within an inch of his sanity.
Teleportation and time manipulation? Wally gaped, images of his favorite comic book heroes swarming his mind. Holy shit, you were an X-Man. He had big fat feelings for a Mutant prodigy. Was he the Cyclops to your Marvel Girl?
Needing to do something to ensure Mr. Anderson wouldn't try to grab you again, Wally inserted himself between you and him. A move that appeared to influence Mr. Anderson to maintain the space Wally enforced with his presence.
Good, Wally thought, cracking his knuckles, because while he had no problem trying to beat his way into the living world to knock a few of Mr. Anderson's teeth out, he knew that would take a lot more than noble intention to pull off.
He loathed feeling helpless. Back in the day, he'd stood up for the kids who got bullied, had done his best to fend off the misguided idiots who'd used their post-puberty size for evil. Trouble was that now he couldn't do more than make a light flicker by concentrating really, really hard.
Don't be fooled: Dawn made it look easy, but it wasn't.
Finally reaching your locker, Mr. Anderson reiterated, "What were you doing in there?" His demeanor all wrong. Wally knew enough about the guy to know that, usually, he was a cool kind of dorky. Relatable. However, something had obviously possessed him because he was acting like you'd discovered his hidden collection of porn mags.
Wally didn't like it. He wanted Mr. Anderson to fuck off and leave you alone more than he'd wanted anything for a long time. Retaining his position between you and Mr. Anderson, chin up, hands balled into fists at his sides, Wally willed Mr. Anderson away.
You began, "I was just—" when Wally gritted out, stare fixed on the man's haggard face, "You don't owe this dickhead an explanation, baby."
But you spoke over him, "Mathilda asked me to look for something she'd forgotten in there yesterday. She's in the Mean Girl's Musical?" You supplied, and, jeez, you were quick on your feet.
Mr. Anderson was unimpressed, "For two hours?"
"No! No. I was studying in the library when she texted me."
Wally began to wonder how many yarns you'd had to spin for it to come so easily. Part of him was uncomfortable with the notion that it seemed like second nature to you, while another, bigger, part of him seared the way lemon juice stings a papercut.
He recognized it was self-preservation. A lifetime of harboring a massive secret that, okay, might not get you carted off in a straitjacket these days, but definitely wouldn't make it easy for you to go through life normally. He'd seen people ostracized for less. Like Katelynn who, a week before her death, had been spurned by her scene kid friends because she'd admitted to being a fan of Hilary Duff.
"Do you have to get anything from the library, then?" Mr. Anderson wanted to know, the V between his brows deepening when his phone buzzed in his blazer pocket. The third time in the short minutes since he'd found you.
"No." You said, cowed, even though you shouldn't be. He'd been the one whose conduct had been inappropriate. He should be begging for your forgiveness, not making you feel terrible like it was his job. "I swear, I won't let it happen again."
Wally's blood boiled.
"See that it doesn't." Mr. Anderson warned. His phone buzzed again. "Get your things and go home."
"Yes, sir."
Mr. Anderson unpocketed and checked his phone as another call lit up the screen. Private, the caller ID claimed.
"You'll have to use the main entrance." He said, already backing away, "Everything else is locked up." Then he leveled you with a dark look of authority, "I assume you can make your own way out?"
Wally could feel the tension in your muscles, could hear your heart stutter behind your ribs. His fingers twitched, itching to bust the man's head right off his shoulders. And, damn, when had he last felt such violent inclinations? Even against those prima donna bullies, the rage hadn't distended into anything remotely close to this.
"Yeah, I..." You cleared your throat, "Yes."
Mr. Anderson retreated and took the next call that came through, his bark of, "Give me a minute," resonating through the empty hallway as he disappeared around the corner.
As soon as he was out of sight, Wally spun on his heel to face you. You shrunk against your locker, arms folded around your middle and eyes faraway, chewing the inside of your bottom lip as you lost yourself in thought.
Wally moved into your bubble, the connection between you calmed, and smoothed his hands down your waist; one into the back pocket of your jeans, the other gliding back up and into your hair.
He pulled you gently against him, tucked your head under his chin and asked, "You good, pretty girl?"
He felt you nod into his chest, "Yeah. That was just every shade of weird imaginable. Something was off about him." You leaned away just enough to gaze up at Wally. "He's usually so...friendly."
Wally pressed a kiss to the top of your head, "I don't want you to stick around, babe. I don't trust that dude not to do something stupid if he finds you again."
"For real?" You sounded stunned, "Him?"
"Honestly? Yeah. He was giving off serious Bundy vibes. You didn't do anything wrong and he acted like you'd cold-cocked his mama." Wally glared in the direction Mr. Anderson had gone, concluding, "Maybe he's the reason Maddie's blood was splattered all over the boiler room."
"Jesus, Wally, it wasn't a Fear Street massacre." You shunned the idea, disentangling yourself from him to open your locker. After a moment of reflection, "Do you really think he's capable?"
As you grabbed your backpack and started to shove what you needed into it, Wally leaned on the locker beside yours, shrugging, "Like I said, Bundy vibes. And I can't stop him if he decides to come back with a machete, so please," he implored, "Get your stuff and let's go."
Thankfully, you took his advice without further argument. Pulled on your leather jacket, slung your backpack over one shoulder, and held your hand out for Wally to take as if it was something you did all the time.
Champagne-fizz burst in Wally's chest as he accepted the invitation, lacing your fingers together and setting a leisurely but purposeful pace toward the atrium.
"So," He began, "You lie like that often?"
Shame bled into your features as you cast your gaze to the ground. You didn't look at him when you said, "Only when I have to."
"Do you have to do it a lot?"
"More than I'd like, yeah." You shrugged, audibly unhappy about the fact. "Trust me, it's not that I want to. But my family has a strict No One Can Know policy when it comes to our..." You lifted your free hand and air-quoted, "gifts."
Wally bumped into your side sportively. He took a beat to consider his question before he asked it, unsure if he was ready to hear anything other than what he wanted to. "Do you feel like you have to lie to me?"
You stopped and drew Wally back the two steps he'd taken ahead. Looking him square in the eye, you promised, "I'm not going to lie to you, Wally. About anything. Ever." Once he nodded to accept he understood, you moved along, "And anyway, you're now in on the one thing I have to lie about. So, unless I'm under a Fidelius Charm, I honestly don't have anything else to hide."
"A what charm?"
"Do we not have Harry Potter in the library?" You asked as if to no one in particular.
"Oh man, yeah. Rhonda got really into those books for awhile." Wally sloped toward you to stage-whisper by your ear, "She's a total nerd for them. Says she's a Slytherin." Wally straightened and snickered, "Whatever that means. She'd kill me if she ever found out I told you."
You drew an X over your heart, "I won't tell a soul," before you released Wally's hand to push the door to the atrium open with both of yours.
As he followed you down the ramp toward the front entrance, Wally was unable to ignore the elephant in the room any longer, "When were you going to tell me you could teleport?"
It startled a laugh out of you, the kind that starts with a snort. A wave of fondness washed over Wally and he grinned stupidly at you, all teeth and soft eyes.
"I can't." You corrected. Rather, "I can, uhm, project...astrally."
Whoa. You were officially the coolest person Wally had ever known.
A barrage of questions threatened to spill out of him, ranging from reasonable to unhinged. And who could blame him? Normal people couldn't leave their bodies at will and surf the cosmos!
"Astral projection is real?" He asked in as even a tone as he could manage.
"Being a ghost is real." You countered bluntly.
And, "Touché." He conceded, "But you can't blame a guy for being surprised when something out of the Twilight Zone can happen in real life."
You seesawed your head, lips adopting a playful smile. God, you were beautiful. "Fair." You said, winking at Wally who was then forced to swallow the need to pick you up and pin you to the nearest wall with his mouth.
The air was crisp when you both exited the school. He walked you to the picnic tables near the bus stop, resting on the end of a tabletop and pulling you between his legs. Like this, you were pressed flush against him, body fitted so perfectly into his.
The connection rumbled and flared, erupting volcano-hot, piloting Wally's actions. He slid his hands from your waist down to squeeze the pert swell of your ass, and dragged your hips against his.
You gasped, delicate, and let your head fall to the side to expose the column of your neck. Wally took advantage. Brushed his dry lips from your collar to the hinge of your jaw, little darts of tongue and drags of teeth.
"Fuck, baby, you don't know what you do to me," He groaned, his dick fattening in his sweatpants. And he sure as shit meant it. The connection between you was driving him crazy, keeping teenage boy hormones in check an impossible battle.
He rolled his hips, chasing the friction, using the leverage he had with his hands in your back pockets to drag you into his lap. He rearranged himself on the table, slid back to sit more comfortably, and encouraged you to rut against him.
Wally kissed you like it was the last time, like this was the only chance he'd ever have to do it. Slow, deep, slick. The sounds you made, fuck, wanton and needy; moans and gasps and punched-out sighs.
And then, because, of fucking course 'and then'—your phone buzzed right in Wally's palm. Long, sequential blitzes of vibration. A phone call.
You groaned in annoyance, taking your phone when Wally graciously handed it to you, and answered.
"Hey," You greeted, head on Wally's shoulder and body still.
His mama had raised a gentleman, he reminded himself and curled his long arms around you in a loose embrace, repeating football stats in his mind to cool his erection.
"Yeah," You were saying, "Yeah, I know, but I got caught up in the...Well, mom's a big girl, I'm sure she can find someone else to shake the floorboards this one time."
Wally tried to give you an inquiring look but the angle was too awkward, so instead he filed that tidbit away for later, above astral projection but below In Betweens. And, shit, that's right, you were both supposed to discuss your fritzy ghost powers, not dry hump on school property. Oops.
You growled, climbing off of Wally altogether and hopping to the ground, pacing as you expressed with sarcasm and sass, "Why don't you get your new husband to do it, or are we still keeping him in the dark about the family business?"
Wally barely made out the, "Could you stop being such a selfish little brat for o—" before you hung up on who Wally surmised was your sister. With your back to him, he couldn't tell how you felt about the exchange, but from the tension in your shoulders and how forcibly measured your breathing had become, he thought it was safe to assume not great.
"You guys don't get along?" He ventured.
On a last, heavy breath, you twirled back around, "Actually, we get along really well." You sucked your teeth, "It's our mom's choice of occupation that puts us at each other's throats." Wally knew what was coming, couldn't soften the disappointment. "I gotta go." You said regretfully.
He plastered on a smirk, aiming for levity but sounding too dismayed to stick the landing, "You'd think the universe didn't want us to help Maddie."
In what Wally could only describe as a fit of absolutely fucking not, you strode right up to him, slung your arms around his neck and pulled him into a hot, middle-finger-to-the-sky kiss.
"Fuck the universe," You said when you parted, breathless, perfect, his, "I'll come in early tomorrow. Like, seven-thirty-early. Can you meet me in the parking lot?"
Repeating his words from earlier, "Anything for you, pretty girl," Wally vowed, grinning at the prospect of cuddling up somewhere intimate with you in the morning.
Although his thoughts weren't wholly innocent, he recognized within himself the genuine desire to do anything to be near you, for however long you'd give him. Whether that was two minutes or two hours, Wally would be grateful.
"Great," You smiled, bright against the dark autumn evening, "I'll see you then."
A final, sweet stamp of your lips to Wally's cheek and you went on your way, Wally having to watch as you stepped over the boundary of the school grounds and into a world where he couldn't follow.
"Can't wait," He uttered and the connection between you both quieted completely.

Headcanons: The Ghoulettes + Mountain first meeting / Developing a crush on you
Part 1
Here's part 2 :p IM SO SORRY MOUNTAIN GHOUL ENJOYERS HERE'S YOUR FOOD
Cumulus
• She immediately stands out to you because of her long, curly, white hair. She flashed you a smile and welcomed you to the team.
• The more you got to know her, the more she stood out as the mom-friend of the group.
• Bascically adopts you into the ghoul-friend group. Anyone says anything bad about you will have the 'lioness' to deal with.
• You help her with practicing piano and keyboard. She likes to harmonize with your voice, and sometimes she sings along.
• Winter arrives and the fire ghouls are usually working to heat up the ministry. She invites you to cuddle, since that's what ghouls do to preserve body temperature.
• Presing your body close to hers, you tuck your head under her chin. She whispers an 'Oh my' as she feels her heart beat getting faster. She purred as you fell asleep in her arms.
• Swiss wanted to join, but she growled and swiped at him. "My bad"
• That's a thing that became more common between you two, even if it wasn't cold outside anymore.
• She starts to fuss over you more like she's your wife, which you jokingly call her.
Cirrus
• Is pretty similar to Mist, the only thing that's different is how quickly her mood changes. It's super scary
• At first she was stone faced like the previous Era of ghouls, but as soon as you said hi she was smiles and rainbows.
• Was the one who seemed the most trust worthy at the time, so she's your main ghoul to talk to.
• Pretty playful and flirty, like a mix of Aurora and Swiss. Loves it when you pet her or scratch under her chin.
• Started to feel more attracted to you once she realized her attraction to you wasn't just friendship. It was romantic. Pretty simple when she came to terms with it.
• Overthinks her crush. Is it real? Is it just ghoul hormones or your pheromones? Does she just want you, or does she want all of you?
• Gets jealous pretty easily. Doesn't like it when the Ghouls flirt with you, or you give them attention.
• Almost starts a fight with another ghoul because they stared little too long at you
Aurora
• Is bascically the stereotype of that one girl that wants/ is friends with everyone.
• Very excited to meet you, shakes your hand vigorously. Introduces you to the rest of the ghoulettes instead of letting them do it.
• "Yeah, Aurora's one of the newer ghouls" Cirrus tells you.
• Wants to hang out with you 24/7. You are her bestie afterall! Sleepovers, making friendship bracelets, gossip or shit talking. Her personality is heavily inspired by chickflicks.
• Her hair is naturally a very light green which fades into a dark blue at her roots. One day she decides she wants to dye some strands a neon pink. You help her ofc.
• You had changed into a shirt that was way too big on you, it slid down your shoulders and it took every ounce of her willpower not to shove her nose in her neck. The smell of a human was irresistible to a ghoul.
• "Shit, I can't get this one spot" you sit on her lap and hold her face while you use the brush to finish the bangs. Her ears turned red and her tail wrapped around your leg.
• "Uh, Rora. You good?" "Yeah totally!"
• Didn't keep it a secret that she had a crush on you when talking to the other Ghouls.
• "Ugh I want them so bad" "(Reader) and I already have 27 children in the scenario in my head" "I would kill for them ngl"
Mist
• The most imposing ghoulette, despite her stature.
• Doesn't say anything the first time you see eachother. She only stares you down, watching your every move.
• She's so serious at first, so you start teasing her. The Era 1-3 ghouls have darker skin, so a way you could tell she was blushing was when her cheeks turned a dark purple.
• Doesn't want to admit it, like it all. But she loves it when you tease her.
• "Where's (Reader)?" "They're in the left wing working today. Why?" "Nothing, if you tell (Reader) I asked about them I will end you"
• Not good at emotions. At all. Conflicted all the time because she fell in love so quickly. She has never been in love. Never.
• Refuses to talk about it with the others so she doesn't ruin her 'tough chick' persona.
• One time you snuck up behind her and poked her waist. She let out the cutest whine/yelp you had ever heard. She chased you around though.
• Also very protective
Mountain
• Oh where do I begin.
• Scares the living shit out of you because of how tall he is, by accident because bro just appeared out of the ground and dusted the dirt off his shoulders.
• Doesn't usually interact with the siblings of sin if at all. He's afraid of them
• Is actually very sweet though, he thinks you're a little weird at first. Not a bad weird, just very unusual.
• Stuff you say is usually hilarious. Your humor shocks him at first, but he gets used to it
• Mountain is usually very stressed, there's a lot going on in his head. Practice, more practice, duties, mental health. But for some reason, the loud thoughts in his head disappear when you say "hello"
• When you're not looking, he'll put flowers in your hair until you notice them.
• Ofcourse he knows he's in love, the earth ghouls at usually the ones most aware of emotion.
• When he follows you around the lawns and the gardens, a small patch of purple flowers are left in his footsteps

You could see the perfectly chiseled contour of his face, only lit by a soft lightsource as he's pulling back the arrow in his bow. His chest moving calmly, his bicep tense while he focuses on the target. Quiet, pleading whimpers echo through the room, yet the man in front of you doesn't seem bothered at all. With another exhale, he let go of the arrow, the bowstring caressing his cheek as he sent the arrow flying. With a quiet crack, splat and a thump, the arrowhead pierced through the obstacle before sticking in the target itself. Then, silence, only disturbed by the slow sounds of liquid dripping onto the wooden floor.
Your eyes wide when you stared at the girl whose head got pierced right now, the arrow had hit exactly between the eyes, the blindfold ripped and fallen to the ground. “Ah, silence. Finally." He hummed softly, as if nothing had happened. At the sight in front of you, you just couldn't hold back the frightened sob that escapes your throat, causing the man to tilt his head and look at you. “And here I thought you would have learned, little mouse.”
His voice sounded bored, almost a little disappointed when his full attention turned towards you, ignoring the other man in the shadows entirely, who had just moved. “You know, Yeosang, how about you keep a girl for more than a day? The one you just - discarded - was actually quite pretty.” The other said, playing with one of the first ones, Yeosang's, arrows. “Why doesn't it surprise me that you prefer the pretty ones who don't shut up, Wooyoung?” Yeosang asked in a rather monotonous voice, his eyes never leaving you though.
When he took slow steps towards you, you tried to move, to scramble away, but your body just didn't listen to you. There was no rope, no chains holding you, so why couldn't you flee? Then you saw it; a syringe laying on the small table, right besides a long hunting knife and some spare arrows. “Don't try to flee, little mouse. The last girl who tried didn't get far.” Yeosang's voice didn't change at all, still calm and low, a smirk on his face as his cold hand grabbed your chin to turn your head towards the door. The floor was clean, a beautiful oaken wood, but when you let your eyes wander, you gasped.
A dark stain, you honestly hoped it was just red wine that had been spilled, yet, considering the man who owns his place, it probably was no beverage that had been spilled there. “Yah, don't you dare to do that again, Yeosang. I bet there's still some bits of brain in the grooves of the flooring. You know how hard it was to scrub that wooden floor?” Wooyoung scoffs, stepping out into the light as well now and you were able to see the other one's face. Not less handsome than Yeosang, yet in a different way, he looks very familiar.
He was the one who had approached you on the street and asked for directions. You knew something was weird, his English was too clean and he had an accent, of course he was no tourist. Your eyes lingered on the second male for too long as it seemed, because Yeosang forced your head towards him again, his grip on your chin tightened. “Wh- what do you-” “Want? Don't worry little mouse, I don't want much. And as long as you do as you're told, you won't end up like that loud one over there.” Yeosang chuckled, his angelic face turned into a slight grimace as he did. He always had been different, always had an excellent taste. His women have always been beautiful, his food and beverages expensive and his weapons deadly. This time however, Wooyoung brought him someone different. Imperfect and a local.
“You know, usually I would just get rid of you, little mouse. I don't like loud girls, I love when they're quiet, when they don't get on my damn nerves with their annoying voices. But Woo just had to pick you. What am I supposed to do with you? Your hair is disheveled, your eyes are too fearful and you are too short. How could I show you around as my girl, hm?” The whole time he spoke, Yeosang let go of your chin, your head dropping against your chest and tears running down your face. He had grabbed the knife off the table, crouched down in front of you again and you could feel the cold steel against your neck as he used the blade to lift your head up again slightly. Without looking away, Yeosang spoke again, his voice now laced with a hint of excitement. “When a human’s tongue is removed, they can't properly talk anymore, did you know that? But then you still could make annoying noises. How about we dissolve your vocal chords, hm? Wooyoung, do we still have the acid here that we used the last time?”
“Yeosang…c'mon man. Tone it down a little will you? I don't want to dig another hole again so soon.” Wooyoung whined, stepping closer now to place a hand on his friend's shoulder to pull him away from you for now. Using this little distraction, you wiggled your fingers, noticing that whatever they injected you has worn off mostly already. You could try to flee, or you could try to snatch the knife and fight. Although, maybe your body might not be fully back in your control. Anything would be better than to sit here and have your tongue or vocal cords removed. Your eyes on the knife in Yeosang´s hand, you decided to fight, after all, you had taken taekwondo classes when you were younger. When the feeling in your legs returned fully, you quickly moved your body forwards, your hand reaching for the knife as you pushed the man against Wooyoung and snatch the knife away.
Holding the handle of the knife tightly, you pointed it towards the two men now, eyes wide and your breath going fast. How long were you out because of what they had injected you with? You didn't know. The expression on Yeosang´s face didn´t ease your mind at all, why wasn't he scared or confused? No, he just had a slightly annoyed, yet curious smirk on his face, taking some steps closer to you, Wooyoung´s hand wrapping around the older one´s upper arm. “Yeo, wait. don´t do something stupid-” He hissed, but Yeosang only shrugged him off, eyes fully focused on you, not giving any thought to the knife in your hand. “You are holding it wrong, little mouse. You´re not only stupid, but also quite courageous. Maybe I actually do keep you. It's rather boring here, I always wanted to have an adorable toy, you know?” He hummed with his low and somewhat soothing voice. What surprised you was the quick movement that followed, his hand grabbing the knife off yours without giving you any time to react at all and one swift motion later, you felt the cold steel dive into the flesh of your thigh. “And now, cry for me, my little mouse.”

Can you do where they go to the club with aurora and her bf and she brings a friend and she like flirts with Gavi and the reader get jealous
Pablito- Pablo Gavi
Tumblr media
"Just-please don't pay her more attention, she can be.. really difficult."
You were in Aurora's room, getting ready to go tonight in a club with Gavi and some friend of hers. You didn't mind at all, new people weren't a problem to you.
"It's ok, Rora. Really. You don't have to worry."
After a few minutes, Gavi came to his sister's room, took you, and then drove you to the club. You had to meat, Sara, the new girl's name, there.
You saw a girl, dressing in a very short black dress. She was really pretty and you were excited to meet someone new and make a friend tonight. That didn't happen at all.
It all started since she saw your boyfriend. She was always between you two. Sara was finding a way every time to touch Gavi.
You first didn't mind, thinking she is just a fan and after a while she would leave your boyfriend alone. You were so wrong, cuz every minute she spend with Gavi, she started to get more touchy with him.
"Doesn't she know he has a girlfriend and that she is right behind him!?"
"I told you, y/n, she is difficult sometimes." Aurora tried to console you, which didn't help at all.
"But you didn't say that she would be all over my boyfriend!?"
"I didn't know either. I'm sorry."
You had enough of Sara's behaviour and decided to go to Gavi, thinking that that way she would leave him alone.
"Amor, wanna go grab a drink with me?"
Gavi turned smiling at your voice and nodded quickly.
You grabbed his arm and guided eachother at the bar and sat down on some chairs.
"What do you want to drink, mi amor?" Gavi asked you while looking at the options.
"Something with alcohol, whatever you choose."
Gavi seemed shocked by your answer. You rarely drink alcohol, especially at parties and clubs.
"You sure?"
"Why, can't you think I'm capable of drinking it?"
"No, no-"
"Then you answered your question!"
Gavi was confused by your sudden moody, and he just thought that it was before your period started.
"But, amor, I don't think alcohol is good for you these days" he told you, knowing that it might not be ok to drink while being at that time of the month.
"Oh and why so?"
He didn't want to create a fight with you, so he just didn't reply and bought you some cocktail without alcohol.
You as well didn't want to make a big deal for it, so you took the drink without saying anything.
"What do you want?" you asked him.
"Nothing, really."
"Why?" you were confused. He was always drinking something. Soda, juice..
"I don't feel it."
Right after he said that, Sara came and hugged Gavi from behind. When he felt some arms around his body that weren't yours, he panicked and stood up, coming next to you.
"Oh, why are you running away from me, Pablito?" she said with that voice.
"Sara, enough!" came Aurora to take her outside.
"You are coming home. You know that he has a girlfriend, right in front of you, and you still flirt with him!?"
"What? I didn't flirt with him at all!"
"Oh, not at all right" you said, now really angry.
Gavi put your head on his shoulder to calm you down a bit, which helped you a lot. Feeling him closer to you made you feel comfort at any time, especially now, knowing that his arms were around you and not on that girl.
You've been jealous before, but now seeing it coming this far, made you really angry and frustrated.
"Ok, I'm only going home to prove you all that I didn't flirt with that handsome" she said while walking out of the club.
Her hands went slowly on her black dress, and she pulled the material up, everyone seeing her butt more clearly now.
Gavi closed his eyes in disguised at her gesture, while the single boys were eying her up and down. That girl was really stupid.
You didn't stay long either, deciding to go home. None of you were in the mood anymore and it was better if you would go to sleep.
"I'm really sorry, y/n." Aurora said after knocking at your door.
You smiled at her, knowing that it wasn't her fault.
"It's ok, Rora. It's finally over now."
"I know, cariño, but I ruined your night and-"
"Not you!"
"It still was my fault"
You made a face to her and went to hug her, saying that it was fine. After she left the room, Gavi came and cuddled with you.
"It really hurt me when she said to you "Pablito"..." you said it like a whisper.
He looked into your eyes and then kissed you.
"You are the only one that can call me that, amorcito."
You smiled at his words and kissed him again.
"Do you feel ok?" he said, still thinking that you were on your period.
"Yes, why?"
"Well...it doesn't hurt you?"
"Sara or-"
"No, no, your stomach."
You were now really confused.
"What do you mean?"
"Aren't you on your period?"
You started to laugh and shake your head.
"No!!! That was the reason you didn't give me alcohol?"
"Yes.."
You made a "awh" face and kissed his nose, while he blushed.
"I am not, cariño."
"Oh, thank God" he said before kissing your neck.
You started to chuckled, but eventually let him do his job.
"Let me show you that you are the only girl for me"
"Show me then, Pablito"
He blushed hard at the name, but still managed to show you pretty good that you were only his and he was only yours.
I hope you liked it!!

hey I was wondering if you could write something where warren and reader say ‘I love you’ for the first time? <3 the warren brainrot is real 😔😔
I Do Love You Warren Rojas x Reader
summary: walking to a diner with your favorite drummer and some very lovely words are exchanged. fluff
notes: omgomg thank you so much for requesting!!!!! i haven’t written anything in so long, and i’ve really been wanting to write for warren!!! i hope you guys like it!! <3 also it’s pretty short and sweet so sorry that it’s not longer…
Tumblr media
being a female bassist was hard. especially when you were dating the drummer in the band you were in. interviewers always made snarky comments about your guys relationship, and groupies always ignored warrens hand that was always around your hip at parties.
that’s why you and warren decided to take it slow. you didn’t want journalists marketing off your guys relationship. or paparazzi sneaking pictures of you guys making out on the side of the tour bus. (which may or may not have happened…)
Warren: Man she was horrified when those pictures came out…. i thought it was pretty funny.
Y/N: He said that? of course he did….
the band was in the process of recording Aurora. you and warren often spent long days at the studio, and on weekends when you weren’t partying with the rest of the band, he would take you on romantic dates.
Eddie: Those two were inseparable. you would never see one without the other. many people didn’t take relationships that seriously during the 70s… but man, those two were really in love. i’ve never seen warren be so in love with a girl before.
during gigs, warren would stare at you nearly the whole show. he wouldn’t miss a beat either. he loved watching you feel the music.
one day the recording session ran later than usual. it was almost 1 am. since you guys didn’t eat dinner warren had the great idea of grabbing a bite at the 24 hour diner around the block. the entire band agreed and started walking.
as you guys walked out of the studio, warren noticed you shiver as the cold night wind breezed through your hair. he immediately took off his denim jacket and put it around your shoulders.
“thank you.” you mumbled as you slipped your arms through the sleeves. you instantly felt relieved as the denim blocked the wind.
“no problem pretty girl.” he gave you a smirk that made your cheeks redden. “you know, you did really good today, the riff you wrote for kill you to try is amazing babe.” although billy is extremely stubborn, he gave you almost all creative freedom on your part. he knew what you were capable of and he trusted you enough to sound great.
warren always knew how to compliment you. and although you guys have been dating for a couple of months, he still gave you butterflies in your stomach.
“thank you, i like how billy let you start off the song all by yourself.” warren grabbed you around the waist and gave you a dramatic kiss on the cheek as a way of saying thank you.
Eddie: Like i said. inseparable.
Karen: Those two were the cutest couple ever. You can tell what they had was real.
The band walked fast in front of you, while you and warren lingered a couple feet behind them. you felt warren’s gaze linger on you in your peripheral vision.
Warren: Man, back then she had these jeans that she looked gorgeous in! she also had these chunky gold hoops in. i’m pretty sure she was wearing both of those that night. plus she always looked hot as hell in my clothes! if you were there you wouldn’t be able to stop staring either!
your boyfriend’s staring made you anxious, even though you know that he would never think bad of you.
“why are you staring at me?” you asked him with a smirk. if it were sunny out, warren would be able to see your red stained cheeks.
“what, am i not allowed to stare at my pretty girlfriend?!” warren replied.
“you’re so cheesy.” you giggled, which was music to warrens ears. he loved hearing you laugh.
“ohh you know you love me.” warren joked.
“i do love you.” the words slipped out of your mouth before you even comprehended them.
now it was warrens turn to blush. he wasn’t expecting your words. he looked at you stunned, and hesitated a bit. his hesitation worried you and you were about to take it back before he spoke.
“i love you more.” warren looked at you very seriously, taking in every single one of your facial features. he looked at you like you were the only girl in the world. you smiled.
you guys kept walking as a comfortable silence fell over you. warrens arm rested comfortably around your shoulders as you rested your head by his neck.
Karen: Those two were extra flirty and quiet that night at the diner. i figured something was up, but i didn’t think too much about it.
Y/N: That night was the first of many where i told him that i loved him.

Mushy May Day 9 and 10: Warming Them Up and Quiet Nights
Combining two days from @forlorn-crows mushy may list! We got Dewdrop warming up Phantom on a quiet winter night :3
Pairing: Dewdrop/Phantom and implied Cumulus/Aurora
Rating: Everyone :D Lots of cuddling and fluff up in here ya'll ^-^
Word Count: 655
Dewdrop had been hearing whispers amongst the siblings of sin that it was going to snow soon. The very thought made him shudder. He never really enjoyed the snow. While the rest of the pack was out playing in the snow and getting cold and wet, he preferred to stay inside either by himself or with Rain who had mixed feelings about the snow.
The fire ghoul walked by Cumulus and Aurora who stood in front of a window, the older ghoul educating the younger about snow. Aurora was amazed as she pressed her face against the glass, looking out at the snowy night in awe.
“It’s amazing! We can play in it too?” She asked.
“We sure can, hon. It’s so much fun and we can drink lots of hot cocoa after,” Cumulus chimed. Aurora looked absolutely delighted at the mention of hot cocoa.
Dewdrop kept walking, eager to turn down for the night. He walked into the ghoul den and felt a chill in the air. It didn’t affect him that much. He just needed to rub his hands together and take several deep breaths before he was warm again.
He got to his room and made quick work of undressing and getting into bed, curling up with his blankets. He couldn’t help but think about which of his packmates would join him after getting too cold. Swiss would most likely join him. He played the hardest in the snow and would need warming up. There was always Aether who loved spending cold nights with him and made those nights all the more cozy.
Dewdrop slowly closed his eyes, his soft purrs filling the air. He looked forward to the treats the elder siblings of sin made on snowy days. He just knew they would ask him for help with heating up the hot cocoa and that he would have the privilege of getting the first cup.
His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a knock at the door. He groaned and sat up in bed, rubbing at his eyes. That was quick.
“Come in,” he grumbled.
The door opened and Phantom walked in, shivering nonstop and looking miserable. Dewdrop sighed, ready for the inevitable whenever a new ghoul joined the pack and experienced winter for the first time.
“Um…Hi…Dewdrop. Can….Can…Can I join you? It…It’s really cold and Swiss…he said that staging with you…when it’s snowing…can help,” he stammered, rubbing his arms.
“Get over here, Bug. I’ll warm you up,” Dewdrop said, lifting the covers.
Phantom chirped happily and quickly crawled into bed with him. The younger ghoul wrapped his arms around his middle, nuzzling his warm chest with a happy sigh. Dewdrop let the blanket drop and he held him close, purring softly while slowly running a hand through his hair.
“I didn’t know that snow was so cold. It’s so pretty to look at,” Phantom murmured.
“It is,” Dewdrop replied, his tail slowly thumping against the bed before curling around Phantom’s.
Would it just be the two of them together tonight or would another ghoul join them? Either way, Dewdrop couldn’t complain. He slowly moved his hands up and down Phantom’s back, making him sigh in content.
“You’re a lifesaver,” Phantom said, smiling up at the fire ghoul.
“Anything for a member of my pack,” Dewdrop smiled back.
Phantom chittered happily before snuggling closer to him. Dewdrop continued rubbing his back, purring softly. They didn’t have to talk anymore. Both of them were tired from a long day of chores and rehearsal and needed some much needed rest.
Dewdrop looked down and noticed that Phantom was fast asleep. Good. He had heard from Swiss that Phantom took forever to fall asleep most nights. Some cuddling and warmth on a cold night was just right for the new member of the pack.
“Sweet dreams, Bug,” Dewdrop whispered, kissing the spot between Phantom’s horns.
The younger ghoul’s smile grew in his sleep.

Drabble-A-Thon Prompt #9
Pairing: Shigadabi
Rating: Explicit
Prompt: From @zehei, Alien!Dabi from their previous commission Hunter's Favorite with feminization.
Contents: Alien!Dabi, hermaphrodite!Dabi, mating cycle/heat, infertile egg, feminization, non-human genitalia, oral sex, fingering
Tomura really had no idea what to expect when he took Dabi off of his planet and out into the wider universe with him, but he knows he didn’t expect to find that Salkeh were incredibly adaptable and beyond clever. He’s pretty sure the only reason that they hadn’t achieved space travel on their own is because each small family unit spends all of their time making sure that their egg bearer is well taken care of throughout their heat. But they don’t need to hunt to get Dabi the food he needs to ensure that his egg is born healthy, and as the Galactic Foundry is able to outlaw the sale of Salkeh eggshells unless a Salkeh themself are selling the remnants of their eggs, Tomura stops having to take poaching jobs. One of Dabi’s eggs sells for hundreds of thousands of credits, the unique wavy patterns of the outer shell already being well-sought after, and the aurora borealis glow that the inside of the shell makes as it oxidizes means that the wealthiest of people across the galaxy want it to be made into jewelry and nicknacks that showcase their status at just being able to find something so rare. The money is all nice, but Tomura definitely just likes it because it means that he gets to book hotels like this one for them to spend Dabi’s entire heat in.
The lavish room has a large circular bed sunk into the floor and he’s brought two bags of their own pillows and blankets so that his little mate could be as comfortable as possible. He was able to have four servings of roasted bone marrow sent up to their room along with two plates of beef tartare, and a special treat of piles of whipped cream and fresh fruit– though he was very very clear that there could be absolutely no papaya that could poison the Salkeh– and as soon as Dabi was in their nest and Tomura was bringing him his food, he started purring. Tomura’s chest is tight from how adorable Dabi looks. The Salkeh is around four feet tall, a long, thin tail with a tuft of dark fur at the end of it that is nearly as long as his body. The rest of him is covered in a fine, but very, very tough, white fur that has varying splotches of the darker color over it, long pointed ears sitting at the top of his head with a messy nest of black hair, big blue eyes with pupils that are blown wide as his sharp fangs crunch all the way through the bone once he’s licked out every drop of the tender marrow, claws glossy and black on his fingers and toes, his feet more bird-like than anything else. He’s cute and small, and when people notice his eyes and size first, they think he might be young. But his species is just small, after some discussion and some math, Tomura learned that Dabi is actually four years older than himself as far as earth years go.
Dabi finishes the last bone, having started with the meat, and licks his claws clean before using a napkin to wipe away whatever his tongue missed. Tomura expects him to start in on the dessert, his heat always making Dabi absolutely ravenous because he barely eats when he’s actually in it, but instead Dabi coils his tail around Tomura’s wrist and tugs him closer. He goes happily, crawling into the nest with him. Dabi purrs louder as he lays back against the pillows and blankets, the smell of citrus and lemongrass starting to waft around them as his body heats.
“You’re not still hungry?”
“I’m hungry for my mate.” Dabi responds easily, spreading open his legs. He usually can’t see his cock or his cunt, and his cock isn’t out yet, just barely pressing against his sheath, the lips of his cunt opening more readily and already starting to flush in sharp contrast to his white fur. Tomura leans in and gives Dabi a kiss, which he accepts happily, but he wants his hands and mouth elsewhere, and Tomura isn’t going to make him wait. He knows that no matter how they’ve discovered they like to play at other times, when Dabi is getting into his heat, abstaining or edging crosses the threshold into genuine pain all too quickly.
He brings a hand between Dabi’s legs, thumbing over the barest press of his cock, and half-purring himself, “You’re so cute like this, princess.” It’s amazing how kinkiness has been able to transcend species barriers, and how readily Dabi has been eager to explore ones that Tomura hadn’t even tried before. His mate always has a giggle about people mistaking his gender because he’s an egg layer, but he likes it when Tomura calls him his baby girl when he’s playing with him. “Like you have a pretty little clit.” He strokes his thumb over him again and feels his cock pressing out a little more from his sheath as he kisses down along his chest. His fur is fine and deceptively soft under his lips as he does so, delighting in being able to feel the vibrations of Dabi’s purrs beneath his mouth. Dabi spreads his legs as wide as he can when he moves between them, but they always end up hooked over his shoulders, his three talons and dew claws digging into his back and leaving him with a distinctive line of scars that he delights in seeing whenever he catches sight of them in the mirror.
He moves between his legs and immediately drags his tongue in one long lick over him, from his center up to his emerging cock, circling his tongue over it twice before closing his lips around it, the taste of him that herbal lemony tang that he’s started to crave when they don’t have time for this. He sucks gently on the tip of his cock, coaxing it out as his lover moans and digs his claws into Tomura’s skin as he does, and then he moves his mouth down to his cunt. He’s gushing properly now, definitely in his heat given how quickly the slick has started to soak their nest, and he licks inside of him, trying to get his muscles to loosen up for him. His walls squeeze his tongue in a burning, constrictive wetness that he knows feels a million times better around his cock, but he lives for the sounds of his princess falling apart for him. He’s more than happy to bring him to his first orgasm with his tongue and fingers alone as he takes three to play with his baby’s cute cock, teasing the little bumps of bone that line his underside beneath his skin.
He’s barely started working his mate to the edge when Dabi tangles a hand in his hair, careful not to slice through his scalp or hair with his claws, and pulls on his locks to get his attention.
“What is it, baby girl?” Normally his lover can be patient for at least the first orgasm, needing to be stretched a bit before his smaller body can accommodate his much larger cock. He presses a kiss to the base of his cock, “What do you need?”
“You will mate me properly, now.” Dabi insists, digging his talons into his back just hard enough he’s forced to move up his body if he doesn’t want to be skewered. “I can accept your cock without being prepped.” He can but it’s not as comfortable for either of them.
“Why are you in such a rush, princess?” He asks, kissing at his neck, over his soft cheeks, and up to his forehead. Dabi starts purring again despite himself, especially when Tomura shifts his hand from his cock to his cunt and starts to press one finger inside to at least stretch him a bit before they move on.
“I want my egg.”
“Baby, it’s still going to take a few days.” It always takes at least two for him to be able to produce enough seed to satisfy Dabi’s body and get the egg to form, infertile because of their genetic incompatibility, but still. If he didn’t have a partner, it would take a full week before he produced a completely hollow one.
“You have three. Mate me, now.” He rolls his hips and Tomura gives him a second finger to watch his back arch and his ears twitch so cutely as his eyes close and he lets out a soft mewl at the stretch.
“Why three, baby girl? You know we have the room for eight.” They’ve never had Dabi’s heat last that long, but Tomura always wants to be safe.
“But the house will only be available for three!” His mate whines.
Tomura stops moving his fingers inside of him. “What house, Dabi?”
Dabi is panting a little, his walls clenching around his fingers and a slight tremble going through him as he lays underneath his body, looking up at him with those big blue eyes. “I found a permanent nest for us. On Nesoter. If I can bring my egg to them in the next three days, it will be ours without any other payments. We can have a territory all our own.” Dabi was kicked out of his family because his coloration was unfavorable for hunting, because he should have stopped laying eggs when his younger brother was picked to carry on their bloodline, but his body never stopped. Tomura hasn’t had a real home since he was five. They’ve talked about settling down somewhere, but he didn’t realize that Dabi had actually found somewhere for them to live.
“You’re amazing,” He murmurs because there isn’t room for any other words around the warmth in his chest.
“Yes, that is why you worship me like royalty. Now make me a queen by giving me your cock.”
“You’re not a cat.”
“Nyan.” He scratches lightly at his skin, but Tomura doesn’t complain. He doesn’t care. He’ll happily fill up Dabi’s pretty pussy as many times as he wants it if it means that he can keep being as good to his mate as his mate is to him.

Sorry if this is a weird question but I would want to hear someone else opinion on a matter that i hadn't pay much attention at the first time but now its really interesting..What your opinion on the fact that Klaus Mikaelson seems to be into B.D.S.M? It was kinda stated by Aurora but I don't remember the episode. Or about kol and Rebekah ,they also gives me vibes that they are into B.D.S.M too ,i cant really explain it. I never saw someone adressing this topic.
It's not a weird question, don't worry, especially when it comes to discussing the Mikaelson siblings.
Yes, you're correct, Aurora did state Klaus was into BDSM in 3x07 of The Originals and the line was "Oh, how you loathe me, so certain I've come to do you harm. Yet, as I recall, we did plenty of harm to each other. And, if I'm not mistaken, we both rather liked it, didn't we?". For me, it's not a surprise Klaus behaves that way sexually. He's desperate to be in control of everything, of course that would apply to his sexual/romantic partners as well, and with how his parents made him feel and the added bonus of his hybrid state, it's very much in character for him, at least in my opinion.
But, if I'm being honest, I mainly think Aurora just meant to let clear he likes to hurt the person he's having sex with - with their consent, obviously. Make them find pleasure in their pain, which really relates to his personal life and his personal experiences for me. Of all the Mikaelson (and honestly, all the tvdu characters) I believe Klaus is the roughest when it comes to sex, which it's quite ironic considering vampires have the highest sex drive yet Klaus is seen getting nearly no action.
Kol and Rebekah do give those vibes as well, especially Kol. I believe Rebekah is more of a merciless tease, while Kol just loves to make you cry (in the good sense). Elijah, in the other hand, seems pretty vanilla to me, just like Stefan and Caroline. Damon likes to paint himself as some kind of sex god, and yet Elena looked so ready to laugh sometimes when he talked dirty to her. Hayley, in all of her sex scenes, is always being absolutely manhandled and getting thrown into walls/tables/any surface available, so it's safe to assume she's into a more rough aspect of sex as well, which of course, makes sense considering she's a werewolf.
I'm so sorry it took me this long to answer! It was a funny ask, though.
