if god wanted me to not write so much about feelings, then it shouldn't have made me such a sentimental bitch in the first place

every time i see someone exclude, mock or ignore queer religious people's existence (whether from bigoted religious people or bigoted queer people) i think it should be perfectly acceptable for us to punch them in the face for that

Kurama getting taller than Kuwabara in his youko form is so funny. Kuwa is not a short man but next to Kurama's youko form he becomes like this. 😆

Becoming religious again after religious trauma is such a weird experience.
I spent years saying I was an atheist because I lived through religious trauma that taught me that religion meant isolation and distrust in yourself. Obedience and submission.
And then I became Pagan and everything changed. I was suddenly praying again. I felt uplifted and confident in myself. I felt heard when I prayed and started reading sermons weekly on online temples. I brought prayer deads and used them. I made a pocket altar and used it multiple times a week.
I felt connected to myself again.
I feel loved and free.
Sometimes religion isn't the problem, but what religion you choose to follow.
Religion can be beautiful. ♡

You who hate Sam are evil.
If I was truly evil, I'd pull out the Ouija board, summon a demon, make a deal to go back in time and give Jared diarrhea before the audition or perform hypnosis on Eric Kripke to make Dean an only child but I'm not doing it, am I?

Is It Weird I'm Atheist And Still Use Christian Slang And Words?
I grew up in a pretty Christian family, so I've developed the habit of using Christian slang and curse words.
But I'm Atheist.
So....
Idk what to do about that....

literally everytime i get into a new media I have the ungodly uncontrollable urge to create a silly little guy to add to the world
not a self-insert, not to ship with a canon character, just a guy who exists in that world, doesn't even have to ever interact with the canon cast

As a kid I actually liked the pray to saints thing. Felt like when you knew parent one wouldn’t say yes to something so you instead go straight to parent two. In retrospect however it does make a grey area out of“no other god before me”
Yeah! Like I don't think it's weird in the sense of like "wow what a bunch of idiots," praying is a significant source of comfort for people! But weird more along the lines of my protestant upbringing being like... isn't that blasphemy? Praying to other guys?? Wasn't there like a commandment about that???

i really have nothing to add aside from the fact that the only people i see doing this above the age of say 14 tend to not exactly be verifiably jewish. i know there’s no wrong way to be a jew, but if all you talk about in relation to judaism is shit best described by the above term “scrunkly”, i’m going to start having doubts regarding whether or not you’ve decided to come on the internet (because this is primarily where i see this phenomenon) and lie about being part of a religious minority for Diversity Points*
*part of why i think judaism may be popular for this is that with being an abrahamic religion, people may assume they know enough about it if they’re coming from a background with knowledge about christianity or islam, the biggest two globalizing religions out there, which also happen to be abrahamic. so people may go in thinking they know enough, apply the quirky internet definition of Uniqueness, and end up with this weird oversimplification
theres this specific brand of judaism thats """all-accepting""" (of women, lgbt ppl, mentaly ill/disabled ppl, etc) and 'fight with gd behind a dennys' and uwu cute and scrunkly and non-threatening that was bred in captivity by secular americans thats somehow treated as the "real", widespread version of judaism by people on social media and its so so funny and annoying at the same time. and often coexists in gentiles alongside antisemitic beliefs, talking points and ideas. anyways. it drives me insane.

Christ is the population of the world,
and every object as well. There is no room
for hypocrisy. Why use bitter soup for healing
when sweet water is everywhere?
originally by Jalāl al-Dīn Muḥammad Rūmī, quoted from The Essential Rumi translated by Coleman Barks
