Hi so this to everyone apart of DMP what is your favorite moment from the first season.
Kikyo: I guess mine would be the halloween town one and the christmas elves one (cuz I love Stabby, he is a good)
Alex: I really liked the part where Dr. McGillicutty was revealed as Fartzor, Ancient Demon of Farting, and to banish him he had to be beaten in a freestyle battle to the death
Kristen: That was also my favorite episode, wow.
Kikyo: Wha-
Alex: or that one where grace recited the complete works of william shakespeare so well a single tear rolled down murder god's cheek and she agreed to stop littering
Kikyo: I'm too tired to question these
Alex: I can't believe you don't remember these moments, they were so heartwarming
Kristen: Indeed, some of the best work we've ever done.
Queen: A part I like to go back to a lot is just before Vincentâs awakening when he confronts and shoots Rose, itâs so tense and heart racing.
And Grace exposing McGillicutty in the western scenario is a personal favourite, because Iâd been paying really close attention to Alexâs portrayal of the Doctor for the whole session, which help me suss out quickly he was the murderer, and the moment I realised I got it right I thought, âfuck me, that actually worked, IM THE ULTIMATE DETECTIVEâ
Jojo: honestly, probably Murder god's breakdown
Kristen: Aw that's nice to hear.
The parts I relisten to most are Vincent's Awakening and the finale, both of which I'm very proud of. I love pretty much every story scene however and I could write novels about how much I love everyone's performances.
To me Vincent's Awakening is just such an important moment and I think Split sold Vincent's intensity so well. I knew the "My name is Vincent Marshall Reid" bit was coming and I still get chills every time I hear it.
The finale just has so many great things about it- how sweet and satisfying Tommy finally being happy is, how Uprising sells how much Angalena loves Tommy, how happy Vincent is to see that going right and the bit where he pushes Tommy into her arms. I love the scene with The Host and McGullicutty so much because the whole "no one can fix you but you" theme is extremely important to me and Alex and Queen did such a good job. I love Vincent shooting MG cause it's such a big move after how awful she's been and I adore McGillicutty's big speech at the end and I just. Also admittedly I'm proud of MG's breakdown, it wasn't perfect but it was pretty close to what I wanted and I think it showed marked improvement from my previous work.
Anyway I'm a huge dork, no one is a bigger fan of the DMP cast than me.
Juno: Dedede
Jojo: I swear you'd fuck Dedede if given the chance
Brodingles: I'VE cried multiple times in the audience for DMP, (I was pacing the floor with my phone in my hand for Vincent's Awakening haha, DMP episodes give me stress bumps) but I can't think of a particular moment.
That said, I'm a ho for good comedy and the Camp Streamix scenario was the right amount of hilarious for me. I was dying relistening to it. Deceased. Dead as a door nail. Everyone who was playing support that scenario really showed their chops and I loved it.
Juno: HUGE AKU will always have a special place in my heart
Kristen: I regret
Brodingles: Never regret Huge Aku
Alex: N E V E R
Kikyo: Never forget Frederick, he still breaks our hearts to this day
Uprising: My fav moment to play was Angelena in the finale that was baller. I also liked when grace killed her uncle.
Adric: Favorite moment is probably either Graeme getting murdered or white Russians. Although the hosts awakening is pretty close too.
Kristen: Oh God white russians. "WHAT WHAT ARE WE VOTING ON? CHAD!? IS CHAD ALIVE!? OKAY SURE FINE WHATEVER."
Alex: okay honestly i forgot what exactly that was referring to for a few seconds. transformation into dr. mcgillicutty 15% complete.
Kristen: Oh no
Scott: My favorite moment will always be getting to play as the interns in the Reality Island scenarios. I've always had fun with those characters. Otherwise, The Host's reveal is definitely up there! Seeing a completely different side of Grace that takes every emotion and turns them up to 11 is terrifying, and I love it!

While I will get to the small backlog of writing prompts I have yet to get to eventually, Iâm feeling up to telling a different story involving the Followers. Today, youâre getting the origin story.
Not the characters, oh no, this is the story of how this shit show came together into something coherent. Buckle up, this is gonna be a long one.
As some of you may know, the Followers are each loosely based around and upon eight members of patrons on the Internet Remix Patreon server. I happen to only truly âownâ Witch; every other character involved belongs to the person that originally came up with them. If you didnât happen to know this, hereâs a quick rundown of everyone involved:
Me (Sunev or Meg): Witch
@hewhowalksbehind (Onyx): Lieutenant
@missvulpix212 (Missfoxx): Old Priestess
@arahul-abyssia (Arahul): Advisor
@archerowl6 (Archer): Huntress
@joy-in-opera (Carl): Bookkeer
@kylethewarrior (Kyle): Part Timer
CollectorOfMyst (Myst): Young PriestÂ
Now, this was right around when Internet Remix was announcing Camp Streamix and all of us on the Patreon server were choosing teams. A couple of us immediately rallied around Kristen and Team Murder, each for our own reasons (Onyx in solidarity for also living in the void state, Missfoxx given her longstanding friendship with Kristen, me for the storytelling and a long running joke that I was Kristenâs witch, Arahul for the intrigue, and Archer for the horror elements).Â
Not long after this, we all got to joking that as the patrons, we were like Kristenâs followers in a way. I was the first one to really create a âpersonaâ as a follower of team murder, someone who vaguely resembled me and was dressed in red (a precursor to Witchâs final design). Given that I was already âthe witchâ in another long since dead RP thing with some of my friends, I began to take the title of The Witch as a joke. Not long after, those of already committed to Team Murder all began discussing what we would each be if we had to put a role to what each of us were.Â
Missfoxx was the older priest of the group, given that she had the longest relationship with Kristen.
Onyx was the right hand, given the two of them were both âvoid denizensâ and he already had jokingly begin to call Kristen âcaptainâ once he declared Team Murder.
Arahul was more of an advising figure, given that most of us consider him especially wise for his age.
Archer, perhaps a bit more on the nose, would obviously be a hunter of sorts given her name, the executioner as you will.
Along the way, we began joking that we needed a younger priest to complement the older, and jokingly said that we could just âstealâ Myst away if we really needed to.Â
And slowly, we began constructing characters.Â
After a little of this brainstorming and realizing that I happened to be really good at putting together something out of sparse details, I made the decision to go everyone and ask âHey, I have this idea for a story, mind if I piece some things together and try and make this more coherent?âÂ
One by one, they each said yes, giving me little details on clothing and background, but ultimately leaving a lot of the larger stuff to me. So I took the threads all my friends gave me, thought about what I could do with it, and began to weave.
The Followers were born out of that weaving, a set of demi-gods and âangels by any other nameâ who loyally serve the Murder God.
As I was writing, I realized with my own character, the Witch, matched perfectly to the witch role within the DMP game, and so that thread was woven into the story thread.Â
Lieutenant and Old Priestess became more than their titles; they were now the two werewolves, partners in crime, and influential beyond belief.Â
Advisor became the seer, able to peek into peopleâs minds and into the future.Â
Huntress became the gunslinger, searching for justice and agency.Â
Young Priest became the gardener, a speck of flavor text and light in a dark world.Â
I was never expecting this little fan project to become as popular as it did, but it absolutely exploded among the people who were involved and among others in the Patreon server. People encouraged me to write more, and once I realized just how far this silly little project had reached, I decided to start plan out a small sequel project that would bring in some elements I had hinted in the original introductory work.
During this continual worldbuilding, things slowly began expanding out of that small, initial circle. Not long after, we brought Carl into the mix, as she was jokingly called the âbookkeeperâ given that she always fills up the out of context quotes chat and had introduced her own sort of âfollowerâ character not connected to the work I had done. Thus the Bookkeeper was born, representing the minion role and the groupâs scribe
Kyleâs character followed soon after, though his was on a technicality. Because he wasnât officially really any team with his penchant of donating to whichever team he felt like, we said that any character of his would just be there part time. Thus the Part Timer was born, representing the Doctor role and the groupâs technology expert and partial spy.
With that, we had eight followers, which was all I could both reasonably write, and perhaps symbolically, represented the eight legs of a spider (given the large theme of webbing and the like). I promised to include these two new characters into the sequel series and give them their own time to shine, along with learning more about the current cast.Â
With all these characters finally listed out, there was only one last thing to do. Give them their proper titles and honorifics fitting of the original five and the three that wandered in.
The Black Stars in the skyÂ
Lieutenant (or the Right Hand): General of the Eldritch
Old Priestess: General of the Tempest
Witch: General of the Arcane
Advisor: General of the Unknown
Huntress: General of the Wilds
The Blazing Comets burning past
Bookkeeper: Admiral of the Scroll
Part Timer (or Doctor): Admiral of the Syringe
Young Priest: Admiral of the Canvas
There was quite a bit more behinds the scenes work involved with this journey, of course, and I could never have done this without the help of all of my friends who helped me build this world, bring it to live, and paint it in beautiful colors. And, of course, it wouldnât be where it is today without all the people who read it and told me âI want to see more of thisâ.
So, believe me when I give my sincere thanks to you all for helping me to get this far.
And as for when the next update is coming? I canât promise anything precise.
But something else?
Give me a week or two :3

Have you ever wondered what happens when the IR members stream by themselves? Some can picture that as being alone for a couple hours, some imagine a few groups running around the playground. There could be a thousand opinions, and all of them would be right.
Well, why am I saying this? On one of @splitguardianâs streams Juno posted a rather interesting message in the chat, which said: âIf Camp Streamix is our big IR thing then Iâd imagine Splitâs streams are Split taking people to his secret spot near the lake at moonlightâ
Thatâs actually what this fic is about. Itâs about that awesome stream, when they played âPapers, Please!â, created of the best memes in the DMP community and blessed our ears with the sounds of guitar and ukulele. Even though the only thing the fic shares with that stream is, pretty much, the cast (oh yeah, all the cast, even those who appeared in the chat), I hope youâll enjoy this! P.S. this is also based off some headcanons, which are explained after the fic.
Midnight Camp
- It's kind of late, you know? Why'd you have to drag us out of the camp past curfew? And why did you ask to bring our swimsuits? - Oh, you'll see it, Bro. Don't worry too much though: itâs not like I want to murder you or anything, - Split said that in an ominous tone. - So you're saying you could if you w-wanted to? - the raider's voice was shaking. - Right. - he turned his face to Bro, creepily smiling. - I didn't. C'mon, Goggles, let's go. - Stop acting like you two are the only ones here. Quite a large group of campers and the visitors of Camp Streamix went to the woods at night. The group consisted of the members of various teams: Juno and Split, who led the way, from Team Murder, Cami from Annihilation and the two raiders of Bro and Goggles, not even mentioning the guests, Queen and Kikyo. The forest's atmosphere was unpleasant: even though it wasn't that dark thanks to the full moon, the weird sounds of the night woods still scared them. Having someone like Split leading the way didn't help either. The only ones comfortable were pretty much only Split himself and Goggles, who felt safe near her brother. - Aren't you enjoying this night hike? The nature is beautiful, isn't it? - Amazing. Are you also having fun? â Queen sounded a bit irritated. - Believe me, I am. However, I'd like you to have a good time either. What's wrong with yâall? - Oh, itâs totally fine. Weâre not out in the woods alone, me and Kikyo donât have to be up early in the morning and we know exactly where weâre going. Nothing is wrong. - I won't say exactly where, but it's a great place. Iâve wanted yâall to come there for quite a while, and today is a perfect day for that. Especially since itâs one of the rare days you and Kikyo are here. â Split stopped to look around. â I discovered it a while ago and go there quite often. - Oh, so thatâs why you caught Atwas and Jojo out the other day? - Yep. Speak of the devil, we're almost there. He said this and led everyone out into the moonlight. As soon as the campers saw what lied before them, they were amazed. Goggles was, as usual, the most amazed of them all: she was squealing in excitement. - Welcome to the Midnight Camp. - Split continued his tirade. Here you can find some rest from your teams and counselors. I know some of us need that. â he paused for a couple seconds. â Every camper of the Midnight Camp shares the same team â Team Delinquents - Wait wait wait wait wait. Team what now? â asked Cami. - Can't you hear me? Team Delinquents. Cause you're out. At night. Yeah, don't tell that to Darby, he might be disappointed in y'all. â replied Split sarcastically. - As I was saying, your counselor is me. You won't find a way out of here without my help, so I wouldn't suggest doing anything unreasonable. Goggles quickly nodded a few times, grabbed Split's arm and pulled it towards the so-called "camp". Her brother looked at her with a smile and added: - Told ya'd like this place. Time to show you around. With that said, the group once again followed Split. The view was gorgeous: turns out, all that time they had been heading for a lake hidden in the forest. At this point pretty much everyone understood why Split had chosen that exact day for a hike: seeing the full moon above the water and the ancient woods was worth it. The "counselor" had a tent nearby, which was where they headed first. From a closer distance it was also possible to see a bonfire and a few logs placed beside it. - This is the central spot of the camp. And, pretty much the only one. It's called "The Tent". - Goggles giggled. - So you took a creative approach to naming, huh? â asked Bro, chuckling. - Exactly. This is the centre of the camp. This is, in fact, the camp. So yeah, that's where you're going if you need something, injured and, or witnessed someone's death. - D-Death?! â gasped Brodingles. - Just in case, I had to mention it. 'Kay, so if you want anything, come and maybe I'll give it to you. Got it? - Yes, sir. - Juno exclaimed. - Is there anything else we need to know? - Nah. You're on your own now. Do whatever ya want. You're all delinquents and you don't need my orders. - A-Alright, Split- uhm, Mr. Counselor. - Kikyo was a little nervous. Split didn't answer, just smiled at her and went to the bonfire. This time Goggles didn't go with him, but joined everyone else, as they ran to the shore. - Yeeha! Time for a swim in this beautiful, beautiful lake! - Cami was about to jump right into the water, but was immediately stopped: - Yeah, no. Don't even think about it. I don't want you to sink without anyone being able to help. No open water tonight. - Brodingles dragged her away. Cami let out a disappointed sigh, but didn't resist. - All right. So what are we going to do? Sit here and look at the sky? - Juno asked smiling. - If there's nothing else to do, I guess so. I wouldn't mind such a view. â having heard that, Goggles got sad. - Isn't there an island in the middle of the lake? - Kikyo was staring into the darkness. â Seems like one. - Now that you mention it, I see something. Although I'm not sure how large it is. - Well, time to go and check for ourselves! Who's up for an adventure?! â shouted Cami. Goggles immediately started squeaking in agreement. Everyone else just stared at them awkwardly until Bro spoke up: - Cami, not to disappoint you, but how are we going to get there? Some of us here can't swim at all, - he pointed at Goggles. - not even mentioning that going there in the dark is plain dangerous. Sorry, but, - Cami interrupted his tirade: - Then why don't we ask someone who knows? Someone like Split? Chances are he might even have a boat or safety vests. - Where would he even get this many?! - Let's ask him and find out. â said Cami and walked off. - We might give it a shot. What's the point of camping near the lake if you can't swim or sail? â Queen followed Cami. Bro sighed. - Okay, okay. Let's ask him. After they all gathered hear the tent, Cami brought the question up: - Hey, um, Split, - she didn't get to finish her sentence. - No-no-no. How am I referred to here? - Hey, Counselor, - this time she was more confident. - Could you tell us if there are any boats or safety jackets available? - Decided to go swimming, huh? Just for your pleasure or there's some specific goal? - As a matter of fact, there is, - said Juno. - We want to go to that island in the lake. Seems like a great adventure. - Goggles nodded. - Ah, so you want to sail to the Island of Treason. - Another made-up name? - Queen looked skeptical. - Nah, a real one. If I recall correctly, a murder took place there. Some criminal stabbed their partner to death. That's where the name came from. Queen raised her eyebrow: - And how do we know that's true? - If you are still planning to go there, I don't need to prove it. You'll see it for yourself. Cami immediately had some flashbacks to the camp and specifically Xander. - Will we see a-a dead b-body?! - she screamed out in fear. - Of course not, dummy. Something way more terrifying. - An instrument of torture with traces of struggle on it? - these words slipped out of someone's mouth and everyone went silent. - What the, no! Nothing like that. â answered Split. - The people who have been to this island saw a ghost. Almost every single one of them returned pale and shaking. Keep this in mind if you're still eager to go. Now wait here. I'll go get the vests. - Split stepped inside the tent, but in a few seconds stuck his head out and added: - Actually, can someone give a hand? - Hang on there, Split. - Juno went inside the tent. In a few seconds, strange sounds started coming out of it. Something metal fell, then some weird Asian song turned on and the campers outside the tent heard some muffled unintelligible scream. - What the heck is going on there? â asked Queen. - Was it Juno screaming just now..? - Kikyo sounded worried. Goggles was shivering. - What could possibly even make these sounds? - Bro wondered as the noise was getting weirder. - What the hell does he keep there? â they heard a catâs screech. The following seconds they watched it flee to the woods. - What even..? - Cami was about to say something, but then the noisemakers came out of the tent, holding the jackets and the paddles. Split looked rather contented, while Juno was all white. - Guys, what the hell happened? You've been there for a couple minutes. - I think⊠I might have an emotional trauma..? â Juno was barely talking. - I'm not going into any details. - Split squinted at him. - You wanted jackets: here they are, all four that I have. Also I brought four paddles. Drop them and you'll have to dive. - Okay, but where's the boat? â asked Kikyo. - On the other side. - What other side? The other side of the lake, you mean? - The docks are on this side, why would the boat be on the other one? - Then where is it? - Near the island. - How has it got there?! - Queen cut in. - I have no idea. I just saw it was there. It looks fine, but you got to bring it here first. - Well, that settles it. Everyone turned to Brodingles. - There's no way to reach it, there's no way to get to the island. Problem solved. - he sounded relieved. - I might be able to make it. â Cami spoke up. - I could swim there and tie some rope to it. - Cami, how many times does this have to be said? No! It's too dangerous! If something went wrong, no one would be able to help! - Brodingles was almost screaming. - Shhh, Bro, Bro. I understand that you're concerned, I understand that you're worried. But I will put a safety vest on, and the lake isn't that deep. Heck, I'm the best swimmer in the camp! I survived Xander's training - that says a lot, doesn't it? - Cami put her hand on Bro's shoulder. - Yes, b-but itâs still- - It will be alright. I can do this. And then we'll see what spooky crap is going on. Okay? - Okay... - Counselor, get the longest rope you've got! With that conversation over, the squad moved on to the preparations. After the vests were filled with air and the rope was tied to the vest's belt, double- triple- and quadruple-checking everything, Cami was allowed to go. At that moment Juno, Bro and Kikyo looked at her the way they would bid farewell to a sailor leaving forever, Queen was waving her handkerchief and Goggles was writing an ode. Split watched this mayhem and only thought: âKids.â The further she got away, the more and more difficult it got to see her. For quite a while they could hear the sound of water splashing, but then it was also gone. Those who stayed on the campside were getting worried. Even though they saw some silhouette on the island, that fact alone wasn't enough to disprove their suspicions. The tension decreased only when they heard the whistle and started pulling the rope. In a few minutes the boat was on the other side, then, after a couple back and forth maneuvers, all the campers (including the counselor) were on the soil of the Island of Treason. - Well, here we are. The scary Island of Treason. Population: 1 ghost. Hope you enjoy your stay. - Split said that in a classic flight attendant voice, which made Goggles giggle. - If you didn't know, there's an old house on the opposite side of island. - That's where they spotted the ghost? - quietly wondered Kikyo. - That's right. Shall we proceed? - Let's go. - Queen sounded determined. - C'mon, don't tell me you're actually afraid. Split, lead the way. He sighed but agreed. And so they went along the shore to the house. It wasn't a long walk, but even those five minutes were quite enjoyable. The view was still great and no one could take that away. The moon's reflection looked even better from this perspective: it was like some fairytale. - There it is, the good ol' cottage. - the counselor stated, as they were standing in front of a white three-storey house. - You sure you want to go in? - I am. - the answer was confident. - Would anyone prefer to stay out? - Meh, I'm going to the docks. Not like there's anything more for me to see. - Okay. Anyone else? The squad remained silent. - Perfect. Let's rock. - she opened the door and stepped in. One by one, everyone walked inside, until only Split and Juno were outdoors. Juno was the last to enter. The first thing he saw there was the squad gathered by the window. They looked very tense, as if they were observing someone. - He really has left. - relieved, Queen stepped away from the window. - Oh, here you are, Juno. - All the campers are here. Let's check this place out. - everyone agreed with Kikyo and the group split up. The owners had abandoned their property, but the furniture was still intact. The reason for that was unclear: maybe it had been too old for further utilization, maybe the transportation would have been too costly, maybe even some other reason. The owners did what they did and there was no way to find out why. The first floor didn't have a lot of space. Only the kitchen and the bathroom were there, the other rooms seemed to be upstairs. - Wooooow! How much time has passed since a human set foot here? - Cami was amazed by the mysterious atmosphere of this place. Although not all her mates shared the same attitude: - At most, a few days ago. â said Bro. - Look at the floor: there are some slightly visible footprints in the dust. Someone must have been there before us. - Aren't those... Goggles' footprints? The pattern seems familiar. - Bro bent down and sighed: - You're right. It matches up. Guess those really are the sneakers she's wearing. Kikyo, who was with her the whole time, decided to comfort the child: - Hey, Goggles? It's alright. No one got hurt and nothing went wrong, see, that didn't lead to anything bad! There's no reason to worry, is there? Now let's go look for some ancient snacks in the cabinets. â Goggles nodded, and pulled Kikyo into the kitchen. â Wooooah! The equipment was ancient: a broken gas stove, a small fridge with a torn power cord and a table of rotten wood.  This room was also inhabited by many spiders (the cobwebs covered everything), but none of their kind showed up. That was probably for the better. - Oh Lord⊠- Kikyo looked inside the cupboard and noticed a stack of rum bottles. â Who even drinks this much alcohol? Ugh, what did I even expect to find? â she closed its doors. Goggles, who was hopping in attempt to see the insides, turned around and hopped back to the hallway. - Found something useful? â Queen looked somewhat disappointed. - Multiple bottles of rum. â replied Kikyo. â Has anyone else found something? Juno, Bro? - Mostly spiders, so nothing great. - Cami and I didnât see anything noteworthy either. Thereâs only that one bookcase, but all the books are gone. Are we going upstairs? As soon as Queen said that, something started howling. The voice was loud and full of grief, it sounded like a cry. And it was frightening. - The g-ghost?! â the swim instructor didnât look so brave anymore. â Maybe we should l-leave? - Donât tell me you actually believe in supernatural stuff. - Have you ever trained with Xander, Juno? - No? Whatâs up with your training regime anyway? - If you did, you would know they exist. And I DONâT want to go through that again. â she shook her head. - Iâm positive itâs nothing but a prank. And Split is probably behind it all. - Why are you so sure of that, Queen? We watched him going away. - Bro, you know better than that. Do you want to say heâs not capable of this? - He is. In fact, every single one of us is. Who knows if itâs even an actual voice, it might as well be a recording! - Even more reason to go there and check for ourselves. Iâm going to prove to you that no âbetrayalâ took place here. â Queen went right to the staircase. â Letâs get up there. - the rest of the squad looked at each other and silently followed her. As they got to the second floor, the howling stopped. The first thing they noticed about this floor is that there were less walls. Those only separated the rooms and the hallway leading to them, but the rooms and the outside were separated only by broken window panes. - This house must have been beautiful back in the day; - Cami was strolling around the room. â What do you think, Queen? Should we split up again? - Hmm⊠We havenât heard that weird sound for a couple minutes, have we? I guess we could. - All right. Then Iâll check out that zone. - Juno pointed at the opposite door. â It probably leads to the next floor. - âKay. Then Bro and I will go with you. That leaves Kikyo and Goggles for the opposite room and Cami for this one. Is everyone okay with this division? â the others nodded and Goggles even saluted. â Then let us head out. â and thus everyone went to investigate. Behind that door was quite a long hallway. It was very dark, almost pitch black. After all, there were no windows and it was difficult to do anything. - We should leave the door open, - suggested Brodingles. You donât want to trip and fall in the darkness. -  I can see three more doors. Bro, do you mind checking the right one? - No prob. So you and Juno will check the other two? - Yeah. So both groups have flashlights. - Weâll meet here after the investigation, right? - Yep. Good luck. In a few seconds Juno and Queen were standing in front of the doors. They looked pretty much the same, but there was something to the right one. Juno put his hand on the doorknob and tried to turn it: - Huh? - Whatâs wrong? - It would seem⊠This one is locked. - Why lock a specific door inside if you abandon a house? - wondered Queen. â Whatever. Letâs go the other way, I think it leads to the balcony. - If so, thereâs barely enough space for one person. Iâll wait here, - replied Juno. - Okay then, take this, - Queen gave her flashlight to him. â Wait for me here. â she opened the door and stepped in. - Ha, so I was right! It is the balcony! And, my gosh, the view from here is even better! The night breeze was blowing through her hair. Queen had stood there for a couple of minutes just enjoying the scenery before her. Then she heard Juno scream. - What happened- Ow! â she reached her hand out, expecting the door to open, but it didnât. So instead of trying to pry it open, she turned the doorknob: - It isnât opening⊠Why isnât it opening?! Juno! Are you okay? What happened? - Juno! â she heard another voice yell. â Juno, what happened?! Why did you scream? W-Where are you? - Whoâs there? â shouted Queen. â Help, Iâm stuck! - Oh, haha. You two got me there! â the person speaking sounded like Brodingles. - Bro, is that you? We didnât! I heard him scream too, I tried to open the door, but it doesnât let me out! Itâs either stuck or locked! Please help! - Wait, what?! â the voice started trembling. â Oh god, so it was true⊠How can I help? - Iâm on the balcony, please find a ladder or something and bring it here! - Okay! Iâll let the others know what happened! â Queen heard that person running away. In a minute of two the whole squad was outside: - Queen, are you all right? â shouted Cami. â We didnât find anything useful inside, weâll try to look around the house!  Câmon, Goggles, letâs hurry! â they ran to the back. - Are you sure you canât just walk out? â Kikyo sounded a bit skeptical. â Maybe it just got rusty. - I mean, I could try, - Queen put her hand on the knob, - but the door isnât going to open. â she turned it and heard the lock click. â What?! I swear to God I tried that! Oh heavens, okay! Get to the second floor, as soon as possible! â she rushed in. - Iâll go get them. â said Brodingles to Kikyo. â Please go help Queen. - I will. Please, be careful. We donât need another missing camper. â that said, they ran in the opposite directions. In a minute Kikyo got there. Queen has been waiting for her. - Where are the others? - Theyâll get here soon. - We have no time to await them. We got to go rescue Juno, and the only place he can be is the third floor. - Gotcha. You found the stairs? - Yes, Iâll show where they are. â Queen grabbed Kikyo by the hand, and dragged her through the hallway. â Itâs here, see? - Right. Time to get up there. The third floor didnât have as many windows as the second one did, but it wasnât dark.  However, the girls didnât pay attention to it and just ran to the first door they saw. - Another locked one! - Look, thereâs another! â Kikyo tried the second knob and the door opened. In the room they spotted Juno sitting on the bed. He looked at the girls and raised his arm. He was handcuffed to the bed. - Oh god, Juno! â Queen ran up to him. â What happened! You are pale! â he didnât reply. And then everyone heard the sound of a door opening. - Heâs coming! â screamed Juno at the top of his lungs. - Who is this âheâ?! â shouted Queen. Juno was looking past her so she turned around and went just as pale. The three of them saw a person, no, they couldnât even be sure that was a human. They saw something shining green. And it was getting closer and closer. Then the howling sounds came back. The wind started blowing through the remains of the windows and three children screamed. *** A sound that loud could be heard on all the floors so the rest of the group headed for them immediately. - Weâre too late, - said Bro. â heâs already got to them. - Even better. That means we wonât have to search the whole house again. â she burst the door open. â Aaaaaah! â she jumped on the âghostâ and it fell down on the bed. Cami went up to it and undid the shining cloak, - Just as suspected. Ladies and gentlemen, hereâs the ghost of the Island of Treason â Split. - Youâve found me out, huh? â said Split. - You⊠You f-f-f, â Queen noticed Goggles standing by the door, - freaking liar! - Hey, donât call me that, itâs rude. Besides, did I really lie about anything? - Yes! Yes you did! Who told us there was a murder, who assured us that there was a ghost! You! And neither is true! - I'm not sure about that. You did look like you had seen a ghost! â said Juno, holding laughter in. - I⊠What? â Queen looked distraught. â D-did you help him? - Yep! - Then why handcuff yourself? - Oh, this. â Juno put his arm down and the cuffs slipped off. â They werenât even fixed. - Just a good olâ prank. â Split got up and patted Queen on the shoulder. â How did you three find this out? Bro, Cami, Goggles? - Goggles and I found the back door, then Bro found us. So we went up the ladder and found ourselves near the door to the balcony. - You went out the locked door, am I correct? - Kikyo was still shaking. - Yes. And then we heard you scream. You know what happened later. - Welp, - Split stretched, - not everything went like I wanted, eh, whatever. Letâs head back to the mainland. Follow me. â he went out the room, followed by Juno, Bro, Goggles and Cami. Only Queen and Kikyo were still inside. - Hey, come on. Everyone is waiting. - Iâm not letting him get away with this so easily. â answered Queen. - So whatâre you going to do? *** - Why am I the one rowing? â asked Split. - Because you made us go through all that horror, now we are tired and can't do this. Stop moving your tongue and start moving your arms, Mr. Counselor. - Ugh. Okay, whatever. â grumbled Split, paddling. The second âcruiseâ was just as nice as the first one. Queen looked up in the sky and noticed that the moon moved, but not far from where it had been. Less than an hour had passed, but it felt like a day. - Too many things happened too fast⊠- she sighed. â Please, donât ever do that to us again, Split. - âKay. I wonât. It was a one-off anyway. - Good. Hopefully no one else will have to run around this goddamn mansion. Why does it even have such a hidden route? - Itâs just as I told ya. Some criminals built a base there and enjoyed themselves. Then they got into an argument. The rest has already been told. - Mmhm. Donât expect me to believe all this made-up crap about ghosts. - Hm? â he raised his eyebrow and turned to the  others. â Hey, Cami, howâd you find out that Queen was trapped on the balcony? - We heard Bro shouting that! - Huh? â Brodingles was taken by surprise. â But I didnât. I was investigating the bathroom when I heard you shouting at the top of your lungs. And thatâs why I rushed to the stairs. - What? So you werenât the one who talked to me from behind the door? - I talked to you? - What is this supposed to mean? â asked Queen, but Split just gave her an ambiguous look. - Ugh, forget it. The answer will just make me more tired. â Queen yawned and looked around. Cami sat with closed eyes, Brodingles also looked quite exhausted, even Split, who was difficult to read, seemed fatigued. «Well, I mean, heâs already took Kikyo, Juno and his sister to the camp», - Queen thought to herself. «Wait, why did I call this a camp? I guess this place really does something to you. Oh well. I canât think clearlyâŠÂ» By the time they got to the shore, Juno had found some rugs and given them to Kikyo and Goggles. When the campers gathered near the campfire, Split took a lighter out and set the wood on fire. - Letâs spend a little more time here, before we head back. - What can we even do here? â Bro's question was followed by a yawn. - There are some nice things. Wait here, - he stood up and went inside the tent. - What do you think he will bring, Bro? - No idea. Oh, there he goes. And... whatâs that, a guitar? - Not only the guitar. Iâve also got something for ya, - Split lifted the ukulele so everyone could see it. - Staying up for some songs tonight? - And for some marshmallows. Roasting marshmallows to the quiet sounds of guitar was more than nice, especially after such a long and exhausting adventure. Goggles leaned on Queenâs shoulder: she was barely keeping her eyes open. No one spoke, the campers just enjoyed the crackling of the bonfire and the music. - You know⊠Even after the mess that happened on the island, this was still a great night. Thank you. - Queen was smiling at him. â How did you even find such a peaceful place? - I had some help. Your screams have probably notified him that weâre here, so he might even show up. As for now, want to hear an actual song? â Queen, Kikyo and Juno nodded. - Which one? â Bro stopped strumming. - Itâs likely you donât know it. So just relax and listen. â Split started playing the chords. S: My old friend, I recall The times we had, hanging on my wall I wouldn't trade them for gold 'Cause they laugh and they cry me Somehow sanctify me They're woven in the stories I have told, and tell again In the end, Goggles fell asleep. Queen took off her rug and carefully placed it under the sleeping child. She was having nice dreams, and looked adorable. Seeing Goggles so quiet was like a miracle: even at the camp she had always been loud up till curfew, but even she couldnât be energetic after the Island of Treason. In the Midnight Camp Goggles wasnât an annoying kid notorious for writing smut. And it was a nice change of pace to see her like that for once. My old friend, I apologize For the years that have passed Since the last time you and I Dusted off those memories Everyone: The running and the races The people and the places There was always somewhere else I had to be And time gets thin, my old friend Kikyo, Bro, Juno and Cami sat next to Queen, and shared the rugs with each other. The place got even cozier and all of them knew that they had made many friends for these two months. The night was quite cool, but the bonfire and the rugs made it warm and comfy. - Hey, Cami, are you all right? â whispered Juno. â You could have caught a cold after swimming at these hours. - Donât worry, - she replied, - Iâm completely fine. Besides, I even dried under these rugs! Iâm okay now and Iâll be in the morning! Cami said that and started quietly singing along. The rest looked at each other and at the moment the chorus began, all of them were. Don't know why Don't know why Don't know why Don't know why A; S: My old friend, this song's for you A: 'Cause a few simple verses was the least that I could do Another voice started singing. It was getting closer and closer and the campers got scared. Only Split was calm and continued playing the guitar, however, he stopped singing. Soon Counselor Alex walked out of the forest and headed straight to the camp. To tell the world that you were here A; S: 'Cause the love and the laughter Will live on long after All of the sadness and the tears We'll meet again My old friend... Alex walked up to the campers and patted them all on the heads. Then he grabbed the bucket, fetched some water and put the fire out, while singing. Bro got that Alex wasnât going to punish them and continued singing along. The others followed their example. Everyone: Goodbye Goodbye Goodbye Goodbye My old friend My old friend Goodbye Goodbye Split played some final accords and thus the song was finished. And so was their time at the camp: - Glad you had fun here. Now itâs time for you all to go back. â the actual counselor sounded friendly, but serious. - What about Goggles? - wondered Queen. â Sheâs asleep and, - Queen yawned, - it wonât be long till the rest of us will be. - Donât worry about it, - Split spoke up, - Iâll make sure he gets to her bed safe and sound. He lifted her up and carefully walked up to Alex. - Letâs go. Goggles, who was hearing all that in her sleep, only thought: âGoodbye, Midnight Camp.âÂ

Queen and Kikyo participate in DMP on a reqular basis (as their characters are a part of the plot). So, while most of the time theyâre busy in the other camps, they come to Camp Streamix every once in a while (at first it was every Sunday, but I thought it would be better to leave it unanswered)
Headcanon â2
Counselor Alex is pretty much a âdadâ character. He/âs always supportive, more reasonable and laid back than the other counselors. He wonât punish you for something he could do himself and he might look like heâs not laying attention to anything, he could get serious if needed.
Also he wouldnât have fun just because he was told so, that would most likely lead to... uhm, what it had led to. However, he isnât an emotionless machine and he can relax and sing by the campfire just like the others do, if heâs in the mood for it of course.
After all, heâs the one who spent the time in the forest looking for a lake. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note to Self
Life isnât pointless and there are a lot of little things worth living for. Sooo Iâm gonna write them down and sure a lot of them arenât clicking and are just making me real sad but they matter other days and Iâm gonna hold out for other days. Not gonna hurt myself or anything like that today. And Iâm gonna make it public even though itâs dumb and personal.
There are good things even on days when you think there arenât. There are things to look forward to even if theyâre really small. You matter to someone even if it feels like you donât. Itâs gonna be okay.
So hereâs a lot of small things and a lot of big things. Life is a lot of things. So thatâs worth holding on for.
Itâs fall, itâs almost hoodie season. Hoodies are like wearing a hug.
Pumpkin Spice lattes are great because youâre a basic bitch.
Itâs cider season. Hot cider is pretty great. You have a great stovetop spiced cider recipe, itâs pretty damn good.
Crunchy leaves soon.
Everything will be gold and red and yellow and so pretty.
Orchard season with the best donuts fact.
People are gonna continue to make dumb Void jokes and Steve isnât real jokes and those are hilarious, fact.
Youâre gonna make those dumb Steve Isnât Real shirts and people want them?? Youâre gonna at least make one for Steve, heâs gonna love it.
Stephen gets more days off and heâll be around more and that just means nice domestic things like asking what he wants for dinner and making plans and maybe going on hikes and nice walks and watching shows together and getting to cuddle together before bed and talking to him in person instead of on the phone.
Stephen loves you a lot.
Christmas is coming and yeah the holidays sometimes cause depressive episodes and things with your family are kinda weird but the lights are pretty and youâll get to make people presents and gingerbread lattes will be a thing.
Popcorn is still pretty great. Best snack. Stovetop popped popcorn and fact is you make the very best popcorn everyone agrees.
Thereâs a lot of comics youâve been meaning to read.
One day youâre gonna create something thatâs gonna really matter to someone. And you have to keep going for that.
DMP will come back eventually. DMPâs the best original thing youâve ever done and people like it? And the cast loves it and you have to keep going because the stuff you have planned is gonna be so cool.
IR does a lot of cool things for a lot of people and people love it and love you.Â
That cool capable âyeah I can do thisâ rush when you manage to follow your schedule and be productive and organize things is great.Â
You like cleaning?? Real weird but good trait to have.
Youâre super driven and smart about some stuff and can be funny sometimes.
You have a lot of friends and they love you very much.
You have a pretty great brother just saying you nerd.
Your art is getting better and better and youâre like... actually a professional at this point? Sure there are flaws but youâve improved so much in the past year. Itâs worth being proud of and itâs only gonna get better.
Someday youâll have a cool art job that pays well and itâs gonna be great.
One day youâll get through therapy and youâll be so glad you held on.
Youâre getting better at managing mental health stuff. A lot better, even if today doesnât feel like it.
Youâre responsible and thatâs good.
You like exercise and running. Fall runs are pretty great. Strength training is fun and one day youâll be like as strong as an average human instead of a weak smol noodle person. Youâre getting more flexible and better at yoga.
Youâre a huge weeb and thereâs gonna be more animu thatâs great and artistic and changes a lot for you.
Youâre getting better at singing and acting. You didnât even think that was possible last year. Youâve grown a lot and youâre more confident and thatâs great.
People want you around, they do, even if you donât feel like it right now.
Morning coffee and writing is so great. The sunrise comes in and you chill on your own comfy oldass couch in your stupid shitty apartment and everything is quiet and itâs. So nice.
You love cooking and there are gonna be so many great new recipes you havenât tried yet.
Things are gonna be okay.
#in case of ever sad#personal#probably delete later or at least make private#sorry#I haven't posted dumb personal shit in awhile#just trying to talk myself up instead of relying on other people

An Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) contact between youngsters and youth in Moldova and an International Space Station (ISS) crew member is set for March 3. The Moldova Peace Corps (MPC) is the hosting organization, and 90 students (aged 10 â 18) from a consortium of educational institutions, rural schools, and libraries from nine Moldovan villages will participate.
MPC promotes economic and civic development with a particular focus on developing local resources in rural and suburban communities. Another focus of MPC is to provide youth in Moldovan villages with access to STEM opportunities and build capacity among local teachers/librarians to implement STEM activities in their curricula.
During the multipoint telebridge contact, students will take turns asking questions of astronaut Mike Hopkins, KF5LJG. ARISS team member David Payne, NA7V, in Oregon will serve as the relay amateur radio station.
In support of this contact, the MPC partnered with the staff at the Centre of Excellence for Space Sciences and Technologies within the Technical University of Moldova (UTM), the US Peace Corps Volunteer Coordinator, and the participating schools and libraries. The contact will be livestreamed via the MPC and UTM Facebook pages.

I just woke up from a dream where the Murder God gave the awakened a library for the book club and then the Grace Killer showed up, Vincent attempted to shoot them, Tommy knock out Vincent with a chair, Murder God showed up with some zucci, Percy stole it and everyone (except Vincent, he's knocked out cold oof) chances him because they wanted zucci. All and all it was extremely strange and I felt like y'all should be informed.
Kikyo: Sounds like a usual day
Queen: "because they wanted zucci" Is it bad to admit I don't know what zucci is?
Kristen: Zucchini maybe??
Alex: urban dictionary says "better than gucci" and google has nothing
Queen: Maybe zucci is the solution to escaping
Kikyo: I thought of zucchini when I saw that lmao
Split: Gotta get that zucci bro

Hello everyone! I just wanted to say that I really love DMP, but as a Christian it gets a little awkward calling Kristen murder god lol. Is it uncomfortable to ask if any of the IR crew is religious at all? I get it if you don't reply. Anyway, love all of you!
Kristen: I am sorry anon that my heathen ways have made things awkward for you, haha. I guess I would describe myself as questioning atm, leaning toward Unitarian.
Queen: I'm Roman Catholic
Jojo: I believe in Karma and good vibes uwu
Cami: confirmed Roman Catholic, but as Iâve grown up I find Iâm more non-denominational. Itâs not strange as long as itâs understood that in no way affects what you believe. Itâs a character in a story
Carl: I'm a non-denominational Christian. I just believe in the Bible, keeping stuff in context, don't be a dillweed to your fellow man, loving your neighbor, don't judge lest you be judged in the same capacity, etc etc. When it concerns DMP, it's good to keep in mind that it's a fictional setting. It is a very dark setting that covers some very real topics mind you, but still just a collaborative story that all the cast has been writing together.
Kristen: Yeah shockingly the murder god and the black stars are not actually real, they're just characters in a story. It'd suck real bad if they were real
Carl: Big oof
Alex: non-demominational christian who believes god has better things to do than worry about the name of a fictional character
Carl: Same boat, more or less. I'd get into the semantics about what taking the Lord's name in vain actually is in the proper biblical context, but I'm on mobile- shot
Juno: it'd totally suck real bad if they were real. mg would get her soul quota really quickly if she were real.
Xander: Hardcore agnostic. But if the Vikings were right I need to make sure I die in battle so I can go to Valhalla.
Juno: The revolution will give plenty of chances for that. of course the ideal is winning the revolution.
Bro: Nondenominational Christian who was actually in the same boat for a while, so I get why you feel like you do, anon. DMP is always weird to talk about because both of my parents are pastors.
I always get along with it by remembering that the story as a whole isn't inherently blasphemous, and that the themes are in line with things that I do believe in. Ideas of self growth, redemption and the complex ways humans interact are not out of line with God to me, so it makes it a lot easier. My parents have also come to understand something along their own lines as well, though they do wish I showed the same fervor for going to church as I did showing up to DMP sessions on Sunday. It's about balance and having fun in a fictional world, and I've even explored some aspects of my faith through it, so there's always that.
Dont feel bad for enjoying it, but also dont feel bad for any conflicting feelings you have. It means you care, and I'm glad you're exploring them by asking others how they feel.
Big love and God Bless
Adric: I am a bundle of weird religious. Former LDS that still follows some of the teachings, but I am far more spiritual than religious now a days. I believe there is something out there, but I also believe inore magical and "other worldly" things being out there especially thanks to one of my alters.
I've never personally had a hard time calling her Murder God, but for every day things, I do have a problem saying "god" as an expletive, hence why if o keed that swear word you will notice I always say "Gods" instead. It's a minor thing but just how I am.
I can agree with the others though, it can be a hard thing to say based on your religious views to call her "murder god", but also remember, it is a fictional story and is 100% as such, no one is trying to claim she is real and am actual God, so at least to my former religious ways, that does not go against the teachings I grew up on.
Uprising: something to note is that in history/religious studies you refer to the god you believe in with a capital g and one you are writing about with a lowercase g bc ur writing about another religion. tho this one is is a work of a fictional character and with the title preceding of murder it stands to reason that she fits with a universe with gods of other things (which is teue- time and space n shit)
I myself am lowkey jewish in a similar way Alex is. sometimes i feel odd about not writing g-d and I have to pause and consider if I'm writing about specifically The G-d from the holy texts of the Torah, Qur'an, and Bible
when it comes down to it tho it's kinda like zeus god of thunder or stuff like that
Ann: Heavy Christian, Nazarene branch. DMP is pure fiction and everyone involved knows this. It's part of telling a story. No one involved believe that DMP is real, so no harm, no fowl.
Phill: Pastafarian, hardcore going 8+ years now
Jojo: That's the flying spaghetti monster right?
Phill: Hell yeah.
Split: twas raised pagan, hold myself a good few pagan beliefs and practices. not so much a religion per se but big shrug. mostly stuff like the world is a big ol pond of big ol fish and no one really knows the full extent of it, just do what you can to either befriend if your so inclined, or simply just not piss off the bigger fish and you'll be fine. so like, agnostic/polytheistic, dont worship any pantheon tho
Phill: So basically what youâre saying is⊠Youâre a heretic.
Split: I would like the record to show i roasted phill privately to save yall from my heresy
Atwas: Darn
Phill: defeated groans D-deus vu-..lt

To the cast of DMP. If the awakened, Murder God, & Christine were Pokemon what would they be? I'm planning on drawing them sometime soon and I wanted to ask. I will be willing to chose what I think would be a good match so if you don't know just give me a outline of their personality I can decide for myself. I have watched DMP but I could use extra help choosing the right match for them.
(Putting this all under a cut since we have a lot of images. I was holding off on posting this one because I wanted to make an Edgy MG colored Jirachi but ehhhhh here you go)
Alex:
Kristen: Yes
Alex: Iâm pretty sure someone already made the McGillicutty looks like Drampa joke but fuck it
Queen: resisting the urge to say Detective Pikachu
Kristen: Do it.
Queen:Â Detective Pikachu it is :3
Kristen: Honestly MG would want to say Mewtwo or something edgy and legendary But like I'm preeeetty sure that doesn't fit cause Mewtwo feels very masculine.
Alex:Â
Adric: IDK I could see MG as jirachi, being about wishes and all
Kristen: Evil Jirachi lmao
Queen: Those are the eyes of a killer *looks to my Jirachi plushie sat right next to me...*
Alex:Â This is my OC itâs a jirachi/darkrai fusion r&r no flames plz
Queen: Look at this evil little shit
Alex:Â Where did you get this picture of Murder God
Adric: So you mean
Queen: What the fuck is that
Adric: That's Alex's Jirachi/Darkrai fusion. As for Tommy I honestly am drawing a blank, the best i got is a unown ? Because it looks tired and confused at what's happening
Alex: I was thinking maybe Shedinja? Also tired and confused but takes a lot in stride, but if you look at him wrong he dies
Adric: That's the one! I could see him in my head but couldn't find him
Kristen: Awww
Adric: The Hollow bug Pokemon that only shows up when no one else has. Oh and he's dead so yeah
Queen: Oof
Split: havent the foggiest
Adric:Â
Scott:Â Should I avoid the obvious answer of Smeargle, or...?
Kristen: I mean... it seems right.
Scott:Â Then Smeargle it is!

Season 2 of DMP has been freaking amazing so far! I wanted to ask, what exactly are the relationships among the awakened? Who are the closest among each other? For example I know Grace and Vincent sometimes conflict with one other, but do they consider each other as friends?
Queen: Ooooh, it has changed >:3 The Detective is full protecc of Percy, now sheâs realised his situation was in ways similar to hers. Besides that, sheâs more or less fine and respectful with everyone else.
The Host is pretty pissed at Percy, but loves everyone else. Drinking buddies with Vinny, fascinated by Tommyâs book talks, and feels the safest when sheâs with the Doctor, because good father/daughter bonding is good :3
Alex: Relationship with Grace and Vinnie hasnât changed for the doctor. Now that Tommyâs not a horrible glitchy mess he considers him a friend and is generally pretty patient with the nerd talk, because doctor goes for hard science fiction rather than Tommyâs more broad tastes. they both watched star trek though so thatâs a plus
But PERCY. Hoo. Saying âthis is a dream come true! Doing it over and over again and then getting a new life, Iâll never get bored of this!â was the exact wrong thing to say to the doctor. He already came in thinking it would be hard for an actual damn doctor with multiple PHDs to have a connection with a farm boy, but that just tipped the scales.
Lucky for the doctor as far as heâs concerned he doesnât have to LIKE the awakened, just make sure they ARE awakened.
If weâre counting Christine despite her still being asleep at first the doctor was like âHuh, I guess she really DOES remember and seems to think sheâs getting what she wantsâŠâ but after a little bit of thought he probably would have realized âWait. She remembers and didnât say anything to me beforehand? FUCKER.â
Queen: Oh yeah if we count her, Detective hasnât met her, Host is very intrigued, definitely wants to find out her full story.
Adric: Tommy is for sure still trying to figure out how he feels about everyone as he was kinda out of it before and who knows how he would have seen them.
Vincent he wants to help as he did help Tommy out to get him fixed from his screw up and seeing him shitfaced would definitely make Tommy want to help him much more.
Grace is a lot a case of heâs wanting to get to know her and help her out more as she seems like she could do so much good if she would just stop stabbing bears. He might be a little peeved at her at the current most moment in time but ya know, wasnât her fault MG made her kill him in the night.
The doctor Tommy would be very very much considering him a friend, Tommy is an introvert by nature but like some, you get his trust and get him talking for 2 weeks about a really good book series, heâs quite likely to consider them a good friend.
Percy isâŠ.still undecided. He seems to be a good person butâŠ.saying this is a dream come true does not sit well, especially bas itâs been months since Percy got stabbed vs Tommy having been stabbed at least twice in the last two murder games so yeah, it might be a dream till you bleed out in your friends bedroom while looking for love.
Christine I donât think Tommy even knows about outside of the âwe almost had one but she said leave me alone and went back to sleepâ so, nothing for her.
And for bonus yeah Tommy no like MG at all, she made his friend stab her in the night and that shit hurts. Plus, ya know, sheâs an evil murder God who gets off on other peopleâs pain sadness and death.
Alex: I think we can all assume the relation to MG for everyone either is or will be âgo fahk yaselfâ
Kristen: What nah everyone loves her
Scott: I donât feel that itâs fair to establish the relationships between Percy and the cast after having just met them. I canât justify anything significant until we progress further into the arc.
Though if I had to say who he is most developing a liking to, Iâd say heâs leaning more toward Tommy and Grace. Tommy has this innocence to him that Percy can identify with, and he appreciates. Itâs nice to be able to find someone who shares such fascination with the extraordinary. And Grace for obvious reasons, due to the established connection the two have in terms of feeling âtrappedâ inâŠ
Split: Vinny hasnt changed much in his relations with everyone, he still cant get enough of the doc due to him being both incredibly helpful and fucking hilarious. Besides thats the first friend he made in this nightmare.
Grace heâs been iffy with for a long time, she was ungrateful, disrespectful, gave him shit for each slight mistake. But over time heâd grown to appreciate her more, even if he doesnt really understand her mental state (and he kind of refuses to acknowledge it since the doc kinda made it clear that theres nothing to âfixâ and that âshes just herâ). The big turning point to âweâre coolâ is whwn he saw her suffering as he has in the most recent game, learning that shes taking swings. She earned his respect.
Heâs very protective of Tommy, still blaming himself for the boy getting so fucked up in the first place. So he already has an unnecessary attachment to him for that, but in the most recent games he learns Tommyâs also capable and smart, reminds him of an old friend of his.
Percy heâs patient with, gets a more somber feeling for, he wants to show him the light and help him out of the dark, and the same goes for Christine.

Don't suppose you'd consider a meet the cast type video for DMP?
It would be a bit weird to make one since over half the cast canât say âIâm so and so and I play insert Awakened hereâ when weâre still missing a lot of cast. Plus I introduce the cast every episode.
So while itâs a cool idea in theory, itâs not really currently worth it in practice and thus isnât in the cards right now. Sorry about that, I appreciate you asking though!-Kristen

Hi have you guys ever wanted to collab with other youtuber and which youtuber would you want to collab with.
Kristen: Man on the Inter- oh. No okay maybe Cami- oh. ...actually tbh there's this youtube channel I super love called Shippers Guide to the Galaxy and the lady who runs it is super cool and chill and smart and I'd love to just sit down and have a conversation with her. Also in my wildest dreams we somehow get TheOdd1sOut or Jaiden from Jaiden Animations or JelloApocalypse on DMP and then I freak out and totally fail at my job and make myself look very dumb in front of my other youtube heroes. When my brain aims REALLY HIGH I pretend the McElroys (who are only sometimes youtube folks) show up for our show but this daydream IMMEDIATELY gets too realistic and awkward, like even in my wildest fantasies I cannot imagine being cool enough.
Alex: oh i see how it is, ditching us for the cool kids to play dmp. i'm youtube famous too you know, i have a silver play button and everything.
Kristen: Sorry Alex, Man on the Internet is much cooler than you. Obviously, cause otherwise you wouldn't steal lyrics from him.
Alex: but for srs both for IR or MOI I'd love to do collab work! As vocalist though, lyricist is a hard maybe (I sure as hell won't write a musical for someone else) and I'd prefer actual established YouTubers to randos (pls mr. no subscribers man quit asking me to "collab" in the sense that I write and get an entire cast for your genocide musical.) That said I'm... really bad about writing to other YouTubers asking "HEY you want to collab I'll happily singy the thingy!" so maybe you could nudge people in my direction wink wink
Kristen: A mood. Although IR's too smol for me to feel like asking anyone to collab with us is justified. Ask people to collab with us except don't because I don't think I could handle the embarrassment.
Alex: Way way back in the day we were writing sketches and wanted one character to be voiced by Dan Avidan, and I was like, hahaha, yeah that's probably not gonna happen
Kristen: I mean that's probably less wild than me going BUT LIKE. THE MCELROYS THO.
Brodingles: I feel like IR has potential to collab with bigger people through basic networking and putting our likeable content. It's a less scary world than it comes off imo. Just getting together, finding we have similar interests or continuing to post until we just naturally make friends who wanna make stuff with us haha.
Kristen: nO BRO WE AREN'T COOL ENOUGH WE'LL NEVER BE COOL ENOUGH
Brodingles: Personally? I've wanted to collab with Andrew Huang one day. The dude has such a good ear and I used to make music with things I would find around my house so it was super cool seeing him make bops with this kind of stuff. I also wanted to do voices or animation work with Jaltoid or JelloApocalypse. ALL YOUTUBERS ARE DORKS NONE OF US ARE COOL ENOUGH
Kristen: no we are dorkier
Jojo: I really wanna collab with Claudia Cacace and Kiwi Byrd... (My art role models)
Juno: ProZD...
Jojo: I believe Juno speaks for all of us
Moon: I've always wanted to do something with Piemations, Jaltoid, and so many other oh god ProZD too cause oh God I love that man
Tex: I wanna colab with all of u honestly (Meaning IR peeps) And i know that my content doesn't match up to this person's but I love BrutalMoose a lot and would colab any day
Jojo: (/;0;)/
Split: Tbh ive met everyone ive wanted to collab with, being most people ive met i would, but i got this brain sidequest to stream with cry one day lol
Moon: You would ;3
Jojo: :)c
Tom: Redlettermedia. Somehow.

Hello, IR! I'm very interested in playing Mafia/Werewolf, but I have zero experience in acting and the game itself. So I'd like to ask, if it's alright, for some beginner's advice on how to act and...well, not be a nervous wreck during the game. Many thanks, and hope you all have a good day! - Dragon Spire
I fielded this to the DMP cast since this is really a question for them:
Kikyo: Improv? And use that nervousness. That's what I do
Adric: My advice for this stuff is to just kinda forget you're playing a game. I do my best to when I play to be in the role that I've been given and just forget that DBGreece exists for a bit. It takes a lot of time to get the hang of putting the nerves aside, but eventually it should start to feel more natural it did for me at least with DMP being my only imorov experience ATM. Probably not the best advice but shrug
Queen: Well number one rule is don't keep quiet - the quiet ones always die first. But make a character who's interesting and engaging, who can lead the situation, but at the same time not cast suspicion on yourself. I always find engaging characters are more fun to interact with, whether you're working with them or accusing them. So have confidence! Don't hide in a corner, and immerse yourself in ii.
Brodingles: Regular Werewolf/Mafia doesn't really involve acting save for good ol' fashion lying, but if you're asking about DMP brand just pretend you're someone else for a while is what I do. I'm not me today, I'm Petrance Pumpernickel who likes pie and shooting. It depends on if you wanna weave a tapestry tale or just win the game how you play that. Improv is really hard, but immersing yourelf into it always helped with nervousness for me.(edited)
Alex: Yeah DMP is just Werewolf plus acting, if you aren't in a group like ours (which even in Ultimate Werewolf Legacy, is a very very rare kind of group) you don't have to worry about ACTING on the level we do. The game is about deception so a lot of it involves saying things with a straight face. Saying something believable and convincing even if it's not true is 90% of acting. If it's just playing Werewolf in a casual setting just play the game and see how others are acting. If people just go straight for the meta and don't bother with characters, great. If they do have characters see what's working and what's not. Characters don't have to be much, I've gone out with nothing but a stupid accent sometimes and people loved it.
Kikyo: Dmp, a game where lying to the face is okay.
Kristen: I mean you right
Alex: There are so many lying to the face games out there tho
Kikyo: True. This one is special to me tho.
Adric: A game of murder and lying bringing people closer, I love it.
Juno: Be like me me me and be Dedede
Kristen: The most important thing to remember is itâs just a game and also things will go wrong, whether youâre playing or narrating. Try not to get hung up on that stuff- the truth is things rarely go as they do in your head, all you can do is roll with the punches. That stuff takes practice, so... well, itâs fine, donât worry about it. Just do your best to relax and have fun!

Old Tricks
A/N: In which the DMP cast talked about McGillicutty angst and then Kristen wrote about it because sheâs mean.
McGillicutty had figured out a number of ways to pass the time in the Void.
Of course, âtimeâ in this case was relative. Time both stood still and sped by here in nowhere, the only true marker being the defined days in which the Murder Games took place. Heâd given up on keeping track of his own imprisonment ages ago. There was no sense in it, and while he had plenty of time to waste there were other ways of keeping his mind sharp. Puzzles were one way, though admittedly concocting puzzles for oneself wasnât the most fruitful of exercises. Still, it was something, and there were theories on the void and experiments and little things he could do.
Most vital, of course, was the careful art of tricking himself into believing all of this helped anything at all and somehow finding new twists on it all. Heâd lost most of himself already, his mind was all he had left.
Today was a numbers day- in a sense. Again, days, time, etcetera. The strings which he found himself in made some truly impossible geometry, and working out well⊠how they worked at could at least while away a few hours. So he counted to himself, pointedly, loudly, just because somewhere out there he knew she could heard the rhythm and it tended to break her concentration.
Unfortunately, today was also a day where apparently that crossed a line. He could probably blame Vincent for that, that boy tended to put her in a mood.
âLetâs see, eight thousand five hundred and thirty three, carry the eight, divide by the imaginary number-â
âHow. The fuck. Is a number imaginary?â
Doctor McGillicutty perked up in his bonds, glancing down through thick glasses to catch her glare. âWell, you see, my dear Murder God, imaginary numbers are-â
âFuck off, I donât actually care,â She grumbled as she gestured lazily, lowering him to her level.
The drop was a bit sloppy for her, possibly on purpose, jerking white curls from his bun and sending his glasses slightly askew. The motion tickled his face but heâd learned to ignore the minor upsets on the days when he couldnât get loose enough to deal with them. âWell, Iâd say you care somewhat, hwat hwat, or else you wouldnât be here, hm?â
The Murder God fixed him with a glare that would have made his heart drop into his stomach centuries ago. Now that heâs figured out she was essentially a petulant child, it just looked kind of silly. âYouâre right. See, Iâm a bit busy, trying to write, and youâre being a bit of a distraction. I could move you further away, but well. Iâm stressed, youâre⊠stressed in a sense, Iâm sure you see where this is going.â
âI have a wife, hwat hwat!â
She rolled her eyes. âUgh, ew, no! Although I mean, yeah, since weâre on the subjectâŠâ A slow grin spread across her face. âYou do have a wife.â
Snap!
And there was his wife. Cradled in red string, her red hair faded by time but none-the-less still flowing and beautiful to him. Each laugh line is a memory, each freckle the kiss of the sun on her face, her long skirt still flowing as it dangles in the air. Her eyes flutter open, still a brilliant, piercing blue as they come into focus.
âGilly?â She murmurs.
To McGillicuttyâs credit, he very nearly doesnât react. He stiffens for a moment, then relaxes, lets this sharp burst of tension drain from his body. This game was familiar and he knew every step. Not a problem.
âNow I know, I know,â The Murder God says, rocking back on her heels. âThis is an old trick and a bit lazy, Iâll admit. But you know, oldies, goodies, so on and so forth. Why donât you say hi? Itâs been so long, Doctor.â
âGilly?â His wife repeats, confusion in her tone.
This is not his wife.
She moves as much as she can in her bonds, begins to look around frantically âGilly, is that you? Itâs been so long⊠w-where are we? Where- whatâs going on?â
This is not his wife.
âGilly- where are we? Where have you been? Whatâs- please, just tell me whatâs going on!â
This is not his wife. He doesnât need to squeeze his fists anymore, his breathing says level, he does not even shake. He watches impassively as she struggles, listens as her voice grows more frantic.
âGilly- Doctor, Doctor please, why wonât you say anything!? Please, please talk to me!â Sheâs afraid, her voice rising in pitch.
âAh,â The Murder God cuts in. âWeâre playing the strong and silent card today. Very cool, very cool, Iâm sure the ten people who read my little diversion are going to be very impressed by what a stone cold badass you are.â She rolls golden eyes, reaches out to drum her nails on his skull. He doesnât even blink.
Sheâs starting to tear up now, voice growing choked. âGilly- why arenât you talking to me? What did she do to you? Whatâs- whyâŠâ
âOh, I can answer this one! itâs because he doesnât love you!â The Murder God chirps as she finally moves away from McGillicutty to approach his wife (not his wife).
âW-whatâŠâ The woman who is not his wife swallows. âWhat are you-â
âSorry, was I not clear before?â The Murder Godâs heels stop clicking as she stops before her victim. âHe doesnât love you anymore. No offense meant, of course, he doesnât love anything anymore! Itâs nothing personal, this is just what happens when you lock an already senile old man in the void for a millenia. No big deal, right? Really, Iâm not sure he even remembers you.â
âI-I⊠Gil- Doctor, is that what happened? What⊠sheâs lying, right? You remember me, right?â Tear filled eyes look back to him.
Yes. He remembers sheâs not his wife.
âG-Gilly⊠itâs me! Itâs Milly, please, weâve been together for years, please! We have a son, Junior, remember? Please, he misses you, I miss you, please, youâve got to remember me!â
Not his wife.
âPleaseâŠâ Her voice is devolving into sobs now, tears and snot dripping down her face and sheâs an absolute mess collapsing in on herself. She sobs brokenly, the sound echoing through the stillness. Her cries do not stop when small fingers twist into her hair, jerk her upward to keep her face on McGillicuttyâs.
âWhat, nothing?â The Murder God asks nonchalantly after a moment. She gives a long, overdramatic sigh. âDarn, I guess I have to resort to violence.â
The strings pull. His wife (not his wife) shrieks as sheâs tugged in several different directions, joints creak and pop. Then the strings twist in different directions, forcing her into positions the human body wasnât meant to be forced in. He knows enough about anatomy to be well aware just how far a human spine is meant to bend, and thatâs for someone younger. Itâs close, too close, sheâs still screaming.
âIs that it?â He asks flatly. âYouâve done this one before.â
The Murder God meets his eyes. âHm. Youâre right. Letâs see. I could go with flaying again? Or burning her alive? Or crushing her, slowly, you get to see her scared eyes while her headâs flattened like a pancake. Or I could break your son in front of both of you again, let you see a life without your kid, watch your marriage fall apart, does that sound fun? More of an emotional thing?â
âHm,â McGillicuttyâs voice is light over the sound of the sobs above him. âOr you could try drowning her.â He watches her flinch. This tidbit Vincent had gathered was useful after all, interesting, but there was no sense in overplaying his hand right now. âAt any rate, get on with it. Go ahead, kill her. Thatâs not my wife.â
A scowl- heâd definitely hit a nerve -but then the smile is back. âWell alright, since you insist.â
Snap!
The strings pull back with a wet squelch, slice into a freckled throat. A familiar body drops to the ground in a twitching, bleeding heap. âG-GillyâŠâ Her voice is a wet choke, a series of awful, bubbling gasps. He watches her painted nails twitch and go still, impassive.
Clicking echoes through the emptiness as the Murder God crosses the patch of blood on the floor, kneels down to lift the womanâs head up so he can get a look. As she moves, there is a glint of gold spattered crimson. For the first time, his eyes widen and he lets out a gasp.
âWaitâŠâ
Golden eyes widen in mock surprise. âWhat? Oh, Iâm sorry, does something seem familiar?â The Murder Godâs voice is singsong as she moves with tenderness to unclasp something from the body. Then she stands, taking a few quick strides before dangling a familiar locket in front of him.
âOh, right. You gave this to her on your fifteenth anniversary, right? Awww, how sweet. 25 karot too, nice!â His tormentor crooned. He feels his face heat up, feels a prickling at his eyes, unbidden. His breath quickens as her grin widens. âWhatâs wrong buddy, did I strike a nerve? Did you really think I didnât know about it? Or maybe I didnât, maybe this time sheâs the real deal.â
He inhales, shaky. She giggles.
âI guess youâll never know, will you? Ooh, whatâs this?â There is wetness running down the left side of his face, she catches it with a dark fingertip. âOh goodie, itâs even only one tear for maximum drama! I love it!â Sheâs grinning from pointed ear to pointed ear now as she steps away. âOooh, I did good this time, damn!â She cackles as she all but dances away from him, swinging the locket with her free hand.
âAlright, I think thatâs enough for now. I feel relaxed again, thank you so much for your help, Doctor. You can just spend a bit of quality time with your wife, okay? Iâm gonna go find a way to bend reality and frame this for posterity! Ta-ta~â
Her footsteps echo away. As soon as heâs certain sheâs out of earshot, McGillicuttyâs breath calms. He lets out a sigh, shuffles a bit to adjust himself in his bonds, rocks back and forth lazily in the air. After a moment, in spite of himself, he laughs quietly. Heâs gotten pretty good at crying at will- one didnât go through her games for centuries without getting halfway decent at acting yourself. He didnât like to break this trick out too often, however, lest she catch on to the fact that it was just another ploy to pacify her.
The only way to really win her games was to indulge her and act like you were playing. Besides, his wife had never had a locket, at the very least not one as cheesy as that.
He takes a look at the strings around him again, tries to get back to the equation heâd been mapping out. He pointedly keeps his gaze upward, does not look at the corpse bleeding out on the white floor.
That was not his wife.
âEight thousand five hundred and thirty three, carry the eight, divide by the imaginary numberâŠâ

Discord Murder Party related question, And sorry if this already got asked. The plot inside of the games, was that planned from the very beginning or was it just a "hey wouldnt it be cool if this happened" Type thing? Also do you preapre what will happen in advance of the game or is it pure improv?
This has been answered on stream before but never here on the tumbles, so here we go.The TL;DR version is I came up with it after the first episode due to the Narrator becoming a character and my love of Groundhog Day Loops and meta shit. I was nervous about it but liked it enough to mention it to Alex in call one day. He was the main one who knew about it (I believe I also told Scott? I canât remember) and he ended up triggering the whole thing spectacularly in episode 3. After that I filled all my cast in and we started working on characters and such.Plot scenes get some basic direction in advance, we map out what beats we want in a scene and the general episode placement, and if anyone comes up with a cool line we write it down. This is just to ensure we maintain pacing and the plot doesnât get too muddy. We try to plan as little as possible and just let scenes flow naturally, however.Longer version of me explaining dumb creative processes and things under the cut:
A long time ago I had an idea for a D&D campaign I had that would essentially get super meta and the final boss would be the DM themselves. Iâd probably center it around like, the nature of characters and stories or something. I got a bit antsy about the execution, since as soon as you start having players break the game things get messy. In theory itâs a cool idea, but the problem is once it starts becoming a fight against the narrator thereâs no way to really maintain the illusion about this being a game. In the end my players could fight the DM as much as they wanted but Iâd have to either confine the DM to the worldâs rules, which felt untrue to the meta idea, or else there would just have to be an understanding that my players were allowed to break the rules and Iâd essentially have to let them âbehind the curtainâ. That becomes progressively more collaborative storytelling than a game, which is awesome, but you need the right players for it. I didnât really have the right players at the time and I found the whole idea a bit nervewrecking since to be honest I meticulously plan my stories... which isnât a great quality for a DM but at any rate. The point is I shelved the idea.
In the very first game of DMP , the Reality Island episode somehow morphed into the Narrator being part of the scenario. Iâve always been a huge sucker for groundhog day loops and I was thinking of how Alex had kept Dr. McGillicutty as his character for both scenario and went âoh, that would be cool, they could all be the same people stuck in these loops but only Dr. McGillicutty remembers and doesnât change.âI combined this in my head with the D&D meta thing but still felt cripplingly nervous about suggesting it, since I had no idea how Iâd execute it and I was really scared people would think my idea was dumb and cheesy and wouldnât work. But the second episode of DMP went well and everyoneâs acting was stellar so I went âoh right. Iâm playing this with a bunch of theater dorks, theyâd probably be willing to run with me on this.â I got more and more into it so I ended up off-handedly mentioning it to Alex in call, to which he promptly went âWhy didnât you say so earlier? I could have been playing McGillicutty last episode!â So the idea was floating kind of loosely out there but I was still kind of waffling on when Iâd kick it off.
And then episode three happened and we dropped some hints here and there and then the end of Reality Island 2 happened and Alex just hecking went for it. He had his whole âSorry if you didnât want me to kick the plot off so soonâ but I am endlessly grateful he did because my anxiety probably would have killed the pacing. So yeah, after that I explained the idea to everyone else and had everyone create characters and the rest is history.
Episodes 1 through 5 really had no planning at all. For the mid-season finale I was kind of panicking because I really wanted some kind of plot hook at the end and I wasnât sure what to do, but Split had Charlie kind of be self-aware. So at the very last second as I was rambling about the âgoodâ ending I messaged Split out of the blue telling him he was coming back to life and to do so now.
Which I guess launches into how our presentation works from here on out. Every episode does take a bit of planning- I do my best to fill in all players on the placement of plot scenes so those who arenât awakened know to step back. So Iâd say âstart of scenario 1 has a plot sceneâ and âend of scenario 2 has plot.â I do try to keep these things loose and let things flow naturally here. I usually have triggers in the game that I set up- I.E. If Graceâs uncle is attacked or dies, Graceâs host scene triggers. If Grace is killed, her Host scene triggers. If both characters make it to the end it will be the end o ft he game. If the scene is triggered before the end of the game then I have to have MG figure out a way to bring the other player characters back and wrap things up. Other times we just rely on character interaction and see where the scene goes. For instance, in scenario 2 of the most recent game we knew Vincent was going to push MG until she snapped and triggered the Tommy end scene. The actual scene was left Split and I feeling out the characters and moment, however. Usually me and the people involved in the plot scenes have some basic beats we know we want. For instance, Split and I mapped Vincentâs awakening as thus: The Murder God sets up the war scenario to mess with Vincentâs PTSD and it slowly breaks him down. Vincent is indeed broken but in this he starts to remember things. MG tries to push this back, finally forcefully insisting âYour name is Jack.â Vincent awakens, and the Murder God responds by just laying out his backstory while Vincent slowly spirals downward. Â The only thing Split didnât know was that I was going to kill Vincentâs kid in front of him, although he caught on as soon as Jojo showed up with the name Marshall hahaha.I do occasionally provide direction in the moment and some things require DM communication: For instance, Split had to warn me Vinny was going to slap MG in episode 11 so I knew to react to it properly, since itâs sound based. So uh, yeah, thereâs the long drawn out explanation. We do plan things and I have an overarcing plot set up, but we try to keep things as loose as possible to help everything feel natural.
