ok i had a moment to calm down. i’m less seething with rage knowing that there’s hints of jinx possibly still being alive, and that there’s more arcane content to come which she could POTENTIALLY. appear in. but at this point i don’t want them to touch her cause how do you go from the fantastic writing and representation of her that was all of season one, and in act 1 and act 2 of this season. and then being like. she has to die because it’s ending the cycle!!!!! and fuck vi ever caring about her sister cause she’s actually chill with her potentially being dead now that she has caitlyn. cause jinx had to die for her to ever find happiness because mentally ill people are always the problem and they are better off. away from everyone else and dead!!! that is a lovely message to spread about a character who many people relate to ok i need to relax. maybe

Holy sunburn batman 😭😭😭 yall i used so much sunscreen but somehow my stomach, back, and butt are BEET RED. I turned on the light in the bathroom at home and nearly cried seeing it. I took a cold shower and then slathered myself in coconut/shea butter which is the only thing i have on hand. But ugh i think this just killed tomorrow's plans unless my skin magically heals overnight.

That time I wrote 500 words in almost entirely cliches for @theadultfandomproject

“I can’t believe you have all your eggs in one basket, and that basket is my brother,” Sirius growled.

James shook his head in disagreement. “I just want to get my ducks all in a row, and that includes dating Regulus.” He flashed a wide grin. “Time to grab the bull by the horns.”

Sirius groaned. “But he’s such low hanging fruit—a dime a dozen—you can do better, James.”

“To be honest, love is blind.” James shrugged. “It is what it is.”

“I’m beating a dead horse here,” Sirius grumbled under his breath. “You drive me up the wall, James.”

Just then, Sirius’ front door opened, his younger brother walking into their shared flat.

“Look what the cat dragged in,” Sirius sighed, probably regretting allowing James to come over and proposition his brother.

“Finally,” James added.

Regulus instantly groaned. “Can’t you let sleeping dogs lay, James?”

“You only live once, Reg.”

Regulus scoffed. “You’re stubborn as a mule.” He said it as an insult, but James was unfazed.

“The squeaky wheel gets the grease, after all!” James flashed another of his trademark grins.

“You know what, fine,” Regulus exclaimed. “You can be my good deed for the day.”

“Are you yanking my chain?” James asked.

“No, take me out tonight. Come back at eight.” With that, he turned and stalked off.

Sirius sighed. “This is my worst nightmare.”

James simply threw his head back and laughed.

When James showed up at their flat later that night, Sirius was with Remus, leaving the space empty for James and Regulus to enjoy alone.

Regulus had asked if James would take him to a local pub, somewhere casual and unassuming, but it was raining cats and dogs outside, so James had refused.

“Can’t we just stay here?” he had asked, and Regulus surprisingly agreed.

“I guess we better make the best of it,” he had replied, brandishing a bottle of liquor from the cabinet. They could burn the midnight oil right at home.

That’s how they ended up with Regulus sprawled out before him, naked as a jaybird, both of them three sheets to the wind.

“You’re cute as a button,” James whispered, leaning down to kiss up his thighs. “I want to worship your body.”

“Why don’t you reap what you sow then, James,” Regulus asked in his most sultry tone.

“This is too good to be true,” James breathed. “You’re the stuff that dreams are made of.”

Regulus’ breath hitched at the compliments, and James finally dove in, taking his time to worship him just as he had intended.

James had plans to go the whole nine yard with Regulus, time and time again. “Kick your feet up,” James said finally, “I’m gonna knock your socks off.”

As James began to work himself into Regulus, he could only be glad that he had put his best foot forward and played his cards right with Regulus.

He was on cloud nine.

a little compilation of thoughts i have on the tweels:

before they went to school for the first time, jade was a terror. he ate everything, cried a lot, bit pretty much anyone, and clung to his brother all the time. being given a reward by someone outside his family, for doing something "good" is what really started the change in character. realizing, even if he didn't mean well, but acted like he did-- he'd get what he wanted.

they shared everything for the longest time. including rooms. until jade became vice, and his obsession with nature / mushrooms grew a bit too much for floyd. it's actually said they have separate rooms in floyd's bday vignette. where floyd asks to use jades room to put some of his things in. in which jade tells him no. despite having the separate rooms, they do sleep in one another's rooms often. being as accustom as they are to sharing the space.

jade was clingier as a child. but floyd is definitely the clingier of the two when they're older. jade's very accustom to this, and can carry on mostly unbothered even when floyd drops his full weight on his brother without warning. in many cases, it's instinctual for jade to know when it's going to happen( long before it does ). and prepares for it accordingly.

neither of them take well to any genuine ill talk of the other. jade especially doesn't enjoy hearing it. and worst of all is comparing the two of them-- as if one is particularly better than the other. they both have their own unique strengths and weaknesses. and while jade does seem very prideful at times, he doesn't think of himself as less than or greater than floyd. sure, they pick on one another from time to time-- but they're teasing. it's all in good fun, and they don't ever mean what they say. but when sb else does it? not funny haha.

they both dote on one another, and fuss over different things. for jade in particular it's floyd's clothing. he can be seen adjusting his shirt, his coat, his hair ect ect-- which never stays the way he wants it. which is fine, it's kind of funny actually because even though he knows it wont stay put, he keeps doing it anyway. there are a lot of other things jade does-- but this in particular is a frequent occurrence.

we know both of them eat a lot, jade a LOT LOT--- but jade does actually get extra food at lunch for floyd. just to make sure his brother is eating enough. and if he ends up eating the extra food he grabs? thats alright, he's happy to eat more.

they know when either or is in a bad mood. usually without needing to ask. floyd makes it much more obvious than jade. but despite that, floyd can always tell rather quickly when his brother just need space. or something to do to let off some steam.

ik i've mentioned this too--- but "shovel talk" from either twin is very blunt and to the point. they don't care about the details. just so long as you don't hurt them. either twin can make your life a living hell honestly.

so i love nrc, and i love the school aspects of the game and story. but the disney ties always throw me way off. i wont cut them entirely out of my portrayal, for those who do like this. but as a general rule moving forward, i wont acknowledge it. and just emphasize on the fact nrc is a college intended to hone innate magical talent. i mean i know it's just canon but......... like i said. the disney stuff is eh.

one of the biggest aspects of jade that drew me to him-- was the concept of 'passing as human'. which...jade is very good at when he actively tries to be. but otherwise there are quirks, ticks, and habits that give him away. it's generally known on campus that the octa trio are merfolk sure... but i love the idea that it's easy to forget, because jade's just so good at faking it. then getting a startling reminder, be it through his strength, or teeth, or the way he moves and looks. or those moments when either he's dispelled the magic that makes him human- or it wears off.

ofc the way he processes and reacts to things is very inhuman too. again, he can pretend- but deep down he doesn't want to. he isn't ashamed of his selfishness, he doesn't feel guilt for his actions. something that to us, as humans, would be considered a form of psycopathy-- is probably normal for parts of the sea. there are times in game where azul is quick to point out how little empathy jade actually has. like when rook assumes jade would of helped him in the same situation. when in reality he'd of just watched and derived amusement from it. only giving a helping hand at the last possible moment hahaha...

then there's his UM- which has divergence of it's own here. it's an extremely invasive magic, and i'm considering giving it further tweaks. the point though is not the spell itself, but how he uses it. he could use it whenever he wants- but the fact it works better when his victim is under duress is... well it plays into his nature. it really hits home the fact jade isn't human, that he's willing to hurt people, and will likely enjoy doing so. and even worse is that most the people he uses it on wont really know what happened to them 100%.

ig the point of this post is to really give everyone a heads up. im gonna dip more into horror like i wanted to do from the start. the outdoorsy stuff is so cute, and i will NEVER remove it. it's the only time jade seems genuinely relatable and kind. but it's a drop in the bucket when it comes to everything else that IS jade.
