OH MY GOD! I’ve been looking for strength training workouts (for femme), but they are either about being thin (which I don’t want), are completely IMPOSSIBLE for me to do because of my disability, AND/OR are completely annoying for me (intros, certain music and sound effects, and “why is it so fast?”)
I’ve found a FEW good routines made by femme for femme, but they never stuck for one reason or another.
Kind of a similar issue with SOME masc workout videos, but not as oversaturated as femme (which is disappointing).
A good portion of the men who make good workout videos are ANGELS! To the people who make good strength-based videos, thank you.
I don’t know if there really is any science behind workout routines separated by sex, but even if there is benefit to doing exercise “for women” i don’t give a shit. and i will intentionally seek out guides made For Men. because by and large, this is how the different video thumbnails shake out
#i feel like the reason for this is because often strength based workouts aren’t often seen as a focus for women but weight loss#because we live in a society /half joking mostly serious#especially when you are explicitly looking at strength training but the focal point of the thumbnail is still thinness#also i have no yoga pants so i’m shit out of luck#as a femme presenting non-binary person it just feels dishearting#reblog
