This was the beginning of the epic sunset this evening. It's been the end of the semester crunch time over here. After 3 days of some mega technical details that cost me a lot of time I let go. I told myself it didn't matter if things didn't turn out the way I envisioned. In 3 months this thought never crossed my mind. When it came finally came through I instantly felt more relaxed and grateful. I then realized that my audience has no idea what I had planned. They will have the experience I provide and will likely not know if it was "my plan" or the organic unfolding of my time and presense. This is one of the first songs I wrote completely by myself teaching myself keyboard because DW was clearly getting sick of listening to me explain how I wanted a song to go. Basically about an unhealthy relationship I had with this beautiful pixie punk girl who clearly didn't want to be saved but really enjoyed having me around all the time. To top off the cliche she was gay to boot. But also hanging out with her made me extra creative so I guess not completely unhealthy, it's a weird thing attraction. I only have three weeks of school left this semester. I almost have my studio set up. I've secured funding for my next big project! I am soooooo excited for the next chapter yet I am trying to be present.
