I love the idea of her putting aside her desire for romance and finding that she never really misses seeking it out. that's something that made me realize i was ace, so I think it's rlly cute! 💚🤍🖤 (that's not to say she never will, as she CAN be very romantical, I just think it's very very rare and she's comfier with this label ^^)

been a while since any post has been made on here but i thought, what better time to come back than aromantic awareness week! :3

the only current mod (mod calico) is on the aromantic spectrum! i am demiromantic and aroflux :)

and i also know PLENTY of different aromantic identities, so i thought it would be fun to do a daily definition(s) of aromantic identities outside of the main three that people tend to know (aromantic, demiromantic and grayromantic) aswell as some common misconceptions of aromantic identities and some fun facts!

though for those unaware of what those mean respectively (+ some other definitions that will be useful for this week!)

aromantic : someone who experiences little to no romantic attraction

demiromantic: someone who only feels romantic attraction to someone when they have a close bond with them

grayromantic: someone who feels romantic attraction at a lesser frequency and/or intensity of an alloromantic person.

+ alloromantic: someone who is not aromantic, and who feels romantic attraction in a 'regular' way

+ romantic attraction: the desire to have a romantic relationship or experiences with a specific person

Shoutout to allosexual aromantic lesbians! Your sexual attraction to women is beautiful and normal, and you aren’t bad or predatory for feeling that attraction, regardless of whether it’s accompanied by romantic attraction. Shoutout to aro lesbians who feel some romantic attraction! Your romantic attraction is just as lovely and as real as anyone else’s, even if you may experience yours differently or less often than an alloromantic person would. Shoutout to aroace lesbians. Whether your attraction to women is romantic, sexual, or something else that doesn’t fit neatly into either category, you are no less aroace for being a lesbian, and you are no less of a lesbian for being aroace.

Shoutout to aromantic lesbians who are relationship anarchists, aromantic lesbians who are nonpartnering or polyamorous, aromantic lesbians who are married, aromantic lesbians who have a zucchini/QPP or a foveo/FWB, and aromantic lesbians in soft romo relationships or waverships.
