so last night, about three hours deep into our phone call, i was trying to explain to my sister the “ms frizzle is actually trans lesbian arnold from the future” theory and after i was done presenting the (numerous) facts she just goes, “Grace, that makes no sense. that makes literally zero sense” and i was about to be like BOI did you not see all this evidence i laid out for you but then she goes “arnold is a BEAR. A LITERAL BEAR” and at this point i was just like “no carolyn i just explained it to you, arnold is a trans wlw how could he possibly be a bear that’s a label for gay men” and she goes “no, ARNOLD, from the fist clench meme, he’s a bear, how could he possibly grow up to be ms frizzle” 

and that’s when i realized i had to kill her

Last night I dreamed that I was somehow a mix between Arthur (the cartoon aardvark) and Arnold from Magic School Bus and I did NOT want to be in a space suit floating with my class through weightless nothingness. I managed to find a magical loophole that, through sheer willpower, teleported me back home and I was very pleased with myself until the next time (when we were back floating in space) and I tried it but this time it just took me into a sparse space station right next to everyone else. There was nothing there except a floor, a domed ceiling, several windows, and a garage door. There wasn't even an atmosphere so I had to stay in my space suit, but there was gravity. So then I was annoyed with myself because now I was worried AND bored with nothing to do but watch the others do flips outside.

And it was weird and I felt the need to share its weirdness

I'm not sure if this context was planned for Crowley to hide his emotions behind his glasses, but many see it that way, in any case, whether it is true or not, is there a scene planned in season 3 where Aziraphale removes them from Crowley?

I think this would be a rather intimate moment for them, like the song for Beelzebub and Gabriel

No, the plan for season 3 is for Crowley to have left his glasses at home and to send his wife to get them for him. Meanwhile Aziraphale will realize that he loaned Crowley his best tie and that Crowley has gone home with it, and sends his wife to go and get it. Sadie is just going through Crowley's jacket pockets when Dottie arrives. Sadie hides in the closet -- not knowing that Gus the Gorgeous Gorilla has chosen that closet to go to sleep in. When Dottie hides in the closet as well things get complicated for the two women, with hilarious consequences.

"My dear" has become deeply entrenched and deeply beloved fanon; most fanfics have Aziraphale calling Crowley that as a regular thing. I know, I know, it appears just ONCE in the book, along with a "dear boy" and a "my dear boy," and there's a "my dear fellow" in S1E3… Luckily, rationality is NOT a requirement for membership in the Good Omens fandom, lol!

Anyways: Season 3 is our final chance to hear Aziraphale call Crowley "my dear." And therefore, my ask is: Would you please please PLEASE give us a "my dear"? You know what I mean, NOT a, "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" kind of "my dear," but one where Aziraphale does the big blue eyes look (you know the one I mean, or if you don't, Michael will know), and then says it.

PLEASE can we have a "my dear"? PLEASE?! Please please please?! {grovels shamelessly} Please, Neil, PLEASE give us a "my dear"! A small one?! If Good Omens finishes without a "my dear," I will absolutely DIE! {swoons dramatically}
