#tbt ... this was the first thing I ever made in Maya (used After Effects for compiling), during grad school at @columbiagsapp in 2012 (Urban Design program). I’d been looking at the forms of jellyfish for a few months prior, and that definitely informed me here. I had, of course, been modeling in Rhino HEAVY to say the least since ‘07 during my B.Arch days at Woodbury. This was the midterm (I’ll look for my final) for a class called DMUD (Digital Modeling for Urban Design). the assignment was to create a small scale urban intervention, and I took the opportunity to use forms I was interested in, and make something cinematic.
