First Sunrise, First Moonfall - A Child of Ame-no-Uzume

🎶 O, Sunkissed Moon, beloved by the Sun, Its rays kiss your face, love questioned by none 🎶

He didn’t know what he expected. But, definitely not this.

If only he could get into a spar right now. Bust some bad guys with a jab, left-right, and a 'kapow!' that would be sure to wake him! But instead, the insanely boring stacks and stacks of papers made his eyes heavy even though he usually slept with his eyes open. Like, dude, what were these even for? It was a waste of good trees if you ask Itto.

If only he could catch some awesome beetles, he would have some fun with a bunch of kids by now and finally break his ridiculous losing streak which has been a major headache! However, two out of three cups of tea got cold from the incredibly long conversation by nerds who he would rather not upset unless he wanted to live in a nightmare.

Without having anything fun to do, he just spaced out. After all, Itto was surrounded by walls made of the finest purple silk and materials. Its design resembled the gentle waves of the sea and the eloquent color of electro. He eyed the gifts of foreign jade trinkets, placed proudly on quality wooden tables and the illuminating lanterns crested with Inazuma’s proud element. The scent of fine sakura perfume wafted through the air in the dim yet well lit room in Tenshukaku.

Man. He shouldn’t be spacing out like this! He is Arataki Itto for archon’s sake! The Arataki "Above All, Bold-Blooded" Itto! He can do whatever he wants… So why couldn’t he do all those he would rather do?

Well, it was because of you, The reigning ruler of Inazuma. He didn’t realize there was another ruler other than the Raiden Shogun. He didn’t really care who is in charge of Inazuma as long as he can live life as much as he wants, but maybe, you were also the reason why the humans became friendly to the onis and the rest of the yokai. He huffed, only a little as to not interrupt the conversation you and Shinobu had.

If only he wasn’t so awesomely charming and handsome that night!

You were just looking around that night. You were tiny, small compared to him, maybe, a little shy. With your cloaked figure, were you possibly a traveler?

"Hey, man! You look like you ain't around here!" he chirped as he tapped your shoulder and his hand returned to his hips. "Enjoying the festival so far?"

"Oh. I actually live in Inazuma. I just don't come out often." "An introvert! Hey, gotta respect that. You know, a lot of cool people I know are introverts like the renowned golden-haired traveler! Savior of Dragons, Conqueror of the Abyss, Teyvat's hero! Too bad, they ain't here though. Miss 'em." You nodded at his words as you dropped your hood down. And here it is, Itto always knew he was talented since birth at making friends! You finally lowered your guard, and you even gave him a smile.

…Hm? Pretty?

"Haha. I did meet them. I'm glad they reunited." Oh, so you knew the Traveler’s goals too? You’d have to get pretty close to them to do that. Just who are you, small mysterious person? "I haven't enjoyed the festival yet. I don't really know what to do," you added with fingertips pressed together and an awkward smile.

A smile curled up and a loud boisterous voice emerged from Itto, "Hahaha! Well, you are in luck, my compadre! I, Arataki the "Festival King of Fun and Revelry" Itto is here to serve you! When there's fun to be had, I am most undoubtedly there!" Oh, he could feel that adrenaline pumping into his veins! He has to get the gang into this! He looked over at his growing gang and shouted, "Hey, guys! Let's show 'em how to rock a real Festival!"

That was how the great Arataki Itto managed to get the seemingly-uptight you to a night of holler and laughs. What surprised him the whole night was not during the height of the clinking drinks and shared enthusiasm, but during the distant singing of an old man and the diminishing hype of the night. Shinobu had just pointed out your status as ruler, as the esteemed sun of Inazuma.

No way. No way.

You know how to party, he'll give you that. But, he can't believe he has been picking up, carrying you, oni-handling the second-in-command from the Raiden Shogun like a bunch of boxes… For the whole night no less!

He was also crazy loud, and he hoped he didn't say a joke that was offensive that could ruin his 150-day streak without getting into jail.

He began to shove the feeling of cold sweat in the backroom of his mind, and Itto smirked as his pointer and thumb framed the chin of his gorgeous face, "Heh, looks like Arataki the "Festival king of Fun and Revelry" served a hotshot tonight! Was my service just as awesome as you expected, esteemed sun?"

You let out a laugh. "Mister Arataki, you are adorable."

Shinobu and Itto flinched and widened their eyes. A hoot of laughter was so unusual to see from someone who is deemed stoic by the public. And, a compliment? Surely, Itto has greatly achieved many things tonight compared to everyone else in Inazuma. Of course, it is expected of the oni king! And, "Mister Arataki"? Prissy and pretty name to add to the long list of titles and all, but where did the sudden politeness come from? He just remembered that you were calling him "Itto" as the whole gang hollered while you were trying to scoop some goldfish.

"Of course, I had fun," you grinned.

Phew. Good thing you aren't nitpicky. He bowed exaggeratedly as he chuckled, "I am glad to be of service."

Itto knew you could see how his head was getting bigger than his body now. You smiled a little wider, "I enjoyed it so much that…"

Huh. There's more? Well, he was ready for you to compliment his entertaining charm.

"I wish to be your betrothed. Arataki Itto, will you marry me?" Itto witnessed you shine and sparkle to coax him to agree— you placed your hand on your chest as you knelt down on one knee, staring into his eyes with eager glee.

….HUH?

You met eyes with your day-dreaming future husband, and gave him a welcoming smile in the midst of an important discussion, cold tea, and stacked papers. It was a little forced, but the way he smiled back was so genuine and infectious, your true eloquent smile appeared. His infectious aura and presence was what made you enjoy that night and what made you choose him.

Good. He is the perfect candidate as a husband for you: an intimidating resting face everyone will cower in fear from, then the friendliest smile that knows no inequality, inclusive and outgoing personality, the leader of a gang that has been giving itself a good name in recent years, and no true influence to the government of Inazuma.

You were glad to have met him that night.

It was your time to rest in the stuffy yet plain room. Tired eyes fluttered to the beautiful sights of the Festival. Dancing sakura petals of the wind waltz with the lights of the city. The hustle and bustle sang and harmonized with the music of Inazuma. Culture of games, masks and silk infested the streets to satisfy the people and Yokai. Commissioner Kamisato was right; the Shirasagi Himegimi outdid herself this time. The night was too alluring to stay in your room as warmth started to bubble in your heart. Maybe, you won’t spend your night in your stuffy room today.

Indeed, those elders would criticize and lecture you, but at the very best, those grimy sons or selfish daughters of theirs will have no room in your work and your thoughts. At the very least, in your marriage with Itto, he wouldn’t do much for Inazuma other than some minor inconveniences. He would do his own things, and you would do yours. He wouldn’t have any problems with money, shelter, and clothing, and you wouldn’t have any problems with annoying suitors. Now, you have a reason to turn them down.

You also gave your husband his freedom to love whoever he wants.

In the lengthy contract that cited rules and regulations and written agreements between the Arataki Gang Leader and the Esteemed Sun of Inazuma, there, you have written: “The Esteemed Sun of Inazuma, □⁠□⁠□□, agrees for the Arataki Gang Leader, Arataki Itto, to have a romantic or sexual relationship outside of the contractual marriage between the two parties.”

“Hm, are you sure you want this part to be in the contract? Won’t it cause some kind of scandal? It might not jeopardize you, esteemed sun. But the Arataki gang will face grave repercussions." Kuki Shinobu voiced out.

How lucky was Arataki Itto to have a jack of all trades like her? You got a little envious, but the feeling hid behind the curtain. "Dear Kuki, is someone with the likes of Itto even interested in romance?" you whispered.

She actually pondered on your joke, but you pressed on with a grin. "Either way, please notify me if he plans to have a lover. I will make a scandal wherein I have another lover as well as make the narrative sympathize with Itto. Now, they won't be so rude if they think with their little heads. To kill the attention on me, I will announce something beneficial to Inazuma’s-"

"Wait," Itto tapped in, long fingers playing a rhythm to the dark wood. "You're going to sacrifice your reputation? For me to have my own lover?" He raised his brow.

"Of course? My "love life" won't affect my service.”

“Aren’t you technically my lover according to this contract?”

“Well, do you love me?”

“Uh…”

“Think of this as a marriage for convenience, Itto,” you gently smiled, mostly because he was cute, but slightly you placed him at a corner. “We don’t have to love each other.”

"Heh! Well, think again, sunshine!" He crossed his arms and widely opened his mouth. "I'm not gonna be some kind of cheating jerk and fail this marriage! I ain't gonna fall in love with anyone or ain't gonna make out with anyone else but my future spouse! I am gonna be an awesome and committed husband as granny oni taught!"

Honestly, you stifle a laugh. "Is that so? It isn’t really cheating since we don’t have feelings for each other, and this relationship is obviously one of empty commitment. You will get bore-"

Before you could add anything, you could feel Itto's hand grab yours as he brought it to his lips. "Then, I'll use my good ol' Arataki "The Handsome Oni" Itto charm to make you fall for me" he winked.

You pondered. Does he read those cheesy light novels?

the harbinger of dedication (???): boop them once and oh, it's on. boops you back and will not stop booping you back — it's an all-out war! or at least, to them. they take this whole matter as an opportunity and certainly don't mind tiring their fingers out just tapping the button on repeat. does it for the fun and to get a reaction out of you. also, probably eats (sends) super boops for breakfast, lunch and dinner. it's their bread and butter.

the menace (as simple as that): they have no need to be booped because they're the one booping you first and a lot at that too. oh, you got 99+ notifs? yeah, that's an act of love and it's from them. they hoped you liked the gift because they had fun giving it. grab a handkerchief because you're gonna have to scrub that smirk off their face, literally.

confusion (awkward ver.): ...what. what is this? what does 'boop' even mean? why does it sound so oddly menacing when uttered out loud? and why are you smiling at like that? it's a trend, you explain and they — reluctantly and nervously — send a boop back. they have no idea what they're doing but at least, seeing that proud look on your face amounts to something. maybe, they did well? they then proceed to send you another one just for good measure. how cute.

xiao, gorou.

confusion (boomer ver.): their first thought was that they're getting hacked by a... feline virus? how interesting (please explain). with some explanation from you, they'll eventually understand the concept! a passive booper at best, but has a proclivity to treat boops as a “i'm thinking about you” button. so just know one boop equals to one time you crossed their mind.

zhongli, neuvillette, dainsleif (still confused at the end of it), diluc (secretly because he has pride).

the 'humble' reciprocator (dark horse?): all is in perfect tandem. you give one boop, they give one back. you give two boops, they give two back. you squint your eyes at them from across the room suspiciously, they chuckle into their hand in response. is that an act of mischief or demureness? you wonder what will happen if you boop them one hundred times? well, let's find out. (they will give back the exact amount, no matter what.)

kaedehara kazuha, baizhu, kamisato ayato (a true hybrid between being humble and a menace, he is. starts off nice until he spams boops when you least expect it... with a smile, of course!).

the bystander with the popcorn: thanks for the boop, you get one back. yes, only one, sorry. they'd rather not participate in the chaos and prefer to keep their inbox clean. no offense meant, you're free to have your fun so go ahead. they're just here to observe because in their humblest opinion, it serves them well enough as participating does. oh, don't look at them like that. you did get one back, didn't you? rejoice in the fact that you're one of the few — if not, the only one — they gave a boop to. treat it as an approval badge. it means you're special (to them).

the victim™: is getting booped left and right without rest. suffocating and drowning in them even. lady luck is not on their side; they swore they booped everyone back to infinity and beyond — surely, it's all repaid and they can take a break now, right? wrong. they rest for 5 minutes and come back to 99+ notifs every single time. Morning

You grumble as you are woken up by the sun blinding you, prompting you to put your arm over your eyes. You take your time to wake up, and then attempt to get out of bed– but find that you can't move.

The reason? Your lover, Itto, is fast-asleep on top of you. Like; right across you, diagonally. One of his arms is even hanging off the edge of the bed. His cheek is squished against your stomach.

You sigh, shaking your head with a small smile. "Hey" you say, barely above a whisper, as you gently shake Itto. He stirs and gives you an incoherent 'five more minutes', burying his face into your stomach. You glance over at the clock and check the time, 5:30. It's still pretty early, so letting him sleep a little longer wouldn't hurt, you thought.

You tangle your fingers in his hair, to have something to occupy yourself with– his hair is surprisingly soft, despite it looking like he could poke someone's eye out with it.

A few minutes later, Itto stirs awake and mumbles out a 'morning', lifting his head to look at you. "Good morning" you say, giving him a warm smile, which he returns.

You are woken up by a soft breeze. Annoyed, you grumble, wanting to have stayed asleep for longer. You look over to your side, where your lover, Kazuha, is still sleeping peacefully, with his cheek is squished against your shoulder. One of his hands is between the pillow and his head, and the other is hooked around your arm.

You smile and lift your hand to brush some of his hair away from his face. This causes Kazuha to stir awake, which was not your intention. He gives you a smile and murmurs out a 'good morning'. "Good morning" you say, moving your hand over to his and intertwining your fingers, then lifting it up and placing a kiss on the back of his palm.

You and your lover stay in bed for a while before you decide to get up to make breakfast.

✦Scaramouche✦

You are woken up to having your cheek poked repeatedly, you grumble and furrow your brows. But the poking doesn't stop. "Hey, how long are you going to sleep?" you hear your lover, Scaramouche, ask. "Just give me five more minutes" you mumble, sleep still weighing heavy over you.

"You said that five minutes ago, too" he huffs. If you could see his face right now, you're sure he'd be pouting. "At least get off of me if you're going to lay in bed for so much longer" he pokes your cheek again.

"Huh?" you force your eyes open, noticing that what your cheek is squished against isn't the pillow, but rather, Scaramouche's chest. You feel your cheeks heat up slightly as you push yourself up, blurting out a "I'm sorry."

You get laughter in response. "I'm joking," he says, pulling you towards him and placing a quick kiss on your lips, then wrapping his arms around you. "Just don't sleep for too much longer" Scaramouche says as you bury your face in his shoulder.

You are woken up to something tickling your nose, you furrow your brows and try to ignore it. But it doesn't help. You force your eyes open, sunlight finally finding its chance to hit you in the eyes. You squint and block some of it with your hand.

Now for what's tickling your nose; you find a mess of ginger hair that you instantly recognised to belong to your lover, Tartaglia. His face is squished against your collarbone and his arms are wrapped around your back.

You smile as you tangle your finger in his hair, enjoying its softness. You spend some time just playing with his hair. Eventually, Tartaglia stirs awake and lifts his head to look at you.

He gives you a tired smile. "Good morning" he says, leaning closer to place a kiss on your lips. "Good morning" you say, returning the smile that he had given you.

Mondstadt

Albedo Thinks he has it all figured out. He's read all the books, in theory, it isn't hard at all. The baby will latch as long as he holds them correctly and gives them time...but he's got a stubborn baby that doesn't want to breastfeed at all. It takes him a few very stressful days to figure it out, and he's exhausted.

Bennett His milk never came in properly, so it was bottle-feeding all the way. A part of him feels guilty he wasn't able to feed them "properly" but he knows in the end, food is food, no matter the source.

Diluc Doesn't have much trouble at all. The baby latches quickly, with very little fuss. The only real issue is how often they want to eat. Diluc has a chunky little kiddo who's always ravenous. They want to feed nearly every twenty minutes, and poor Diluc is tired.

Kaeya The first few attempts were a struggle, but gets the hang of it pretty fast. His biggest issue is how sore his breasts are. He considers swapping to bottle feeding, but when he looks down and sees his precious little one suckling away, he can't bring himself to stop.

Mika Holds them close and takes his time. They latch quickly, chubby little hands grasping his fingers. Mika is certain he's never seen a sight more prefect and takes a mental note to never let this image fade.

Razor No issues, he gets them to feed quickly, and has no shame feeding them anywhere (not that he should have any) but people in Mondstadt aren't used to seeing someone take their shirt of fully and nurse their child.

Venti Fussy, fussy baby. They cry and whine and he knows they're hungry, but they just don't want to latch...jokes maybe he should try some wine in a bottle.

Liyue

Baizhu Doesn't struggle with feeding, but does have issues keeping his milk supply up. His body just can't seem to produce it fast enough, and much to his despair, he is forced to swap to bottle feeding. However, Baizhu will always treasure those few breastfeeding sessions.

Chongyun Another fussy baby, and he's totally lost as to what to do. He knows they have to eat, why won't they?? Worried sick his little one is going to starve before a midwife offers him some advice, and quickly gets his infant suckling.

Gaming It's a blissful moment after a long labor. The other child-bearing people in his family come to his aid, offering advice and helping him through the first feeding. Luckily, his baby latches easily, and he's able to rock them gently, enjoying their first real moment of bonding.

Xiao Running off pure instinct and adrenaline. He's never held a baby before, let alone have any clue how to feed them. However, his baby is keen on eating and suckles the moment he brings them to his breast.

Xingqiu Bratty baby, he calls them affectionately, as they wail away. They always seem to want more, and he worries he won't be able to keep up with the demand.

Zhongli Even with his wisdom, sometimes, he still finds himself baffled. Countless times he's witnessed mothers feeding their offspring, but his...just doesn't want to suckle. Eventually, he's forced to seek out help from a local midwife, and is relieved when his baby finally feeds properly.

Inazuma Arataki Itto Oni babies are big and hungry, not even fifteen minutes in this world and they are screaming, demanding to feed. Luck for them, Itto has an overabundance of milk, and is thrilled to watch them eat so hungrily.

Ayato A pit forms in his stomach the first time he tries to feed his baby. They fuss, refusing to latch, and all he can think of is how badly he wishes his mother was there to teach him.

Gorou Two nipples and 4 pups make for a struggle. The poor thing is constantly rotating the pups around to make sure each one gets equal milk, it's far more stressful than it is calming. Heaven forbid he mixes them up and feeds one twice while one goes hungry-

Kazuha Zero issues. A very calm, happy baby that latches each time with no struggle. Kazuha will happily sit with them as long as they need, humming or telling them tales of the past and lost friends.

Heizou Thrilled to be able to breastfeed, and is so happy to be able to share such a special moment with his little one.

Thoma Chooses to bottle feed for the sole purpose of needing to sleep. His work requires him to be awake early, and being able to share the feedings with others helps him greatly. Sumeru

AlHaitham Much like him, his baby is stubborn. It's an instant power struggle because AlHaitham isn't going to give up, but his baby just doesn't want to latch. Even with the guidance of a nurse, he still finds himself struggling the first few months.

Cyno Is so relieved when his aching breasts are finally offered some relief. Of course, the nurses are not amused with his "Milk bar" jokes.

Kaveh After a very difficult birth, Kaveh is grateful to have time for just him and his baby. They suckle without any issue, and he weeps with joy at the sight of them. The only thing that could make the moment better would be having his mother there...

Sethos Fussy baby who cries loud enough to wake the desert. It takes Sethos days to get it under control and he feels guilty he wasn't able to feed them properly right away.

Tighnari Same as Gorou, juggling a litter of pups isn't easy. Thankfully, his all look very different, so it's just a matter of keeping up with the demand. At all hours he's got a baby latched to his breast, and all his shirts are stained with milk.

Fontain

Freminet Struggles to keep his tears under control. Watching the little life he fought so hard to protect partaking in their first meal is surreal. He never wants the moment to end, and makes sure to take lots of pictures.

Lyney Struggles at first, but quickly gets it under control. Twins, one at each breast, there isn't a part of him that would trade this moment for the world.

Neuvillette It pours in Fontain for a week. Nothing he does works, and eventually the midwife has to suggest he try bottle feeding instead. For the health of his child, he does, but Neu mourns not being able to share that special connection.

Wrio Opts for bottle feeding so Sigewinne can help with feedings while he's busy with work. Doesn't regret it all, and is thankful for the extra help while trying to keep the prison under control.

Fatui

Dottore Doesn't even consider it an option. Bottle feeding is the only way he'll feed them.

Capitano Only breastfeed a few times before swapping to bottle feeding. It just isn't feasible for him to constantly be running back and forth, because duty comes first.

Pantalone Exhausted, but snaps at anyone who suggests bottle feeding. Busy schedule or not, he won't allow anyone else to feed his precious little one. These are moments for them, and no one else.

Pierro Is far too busy running the Fatui, and hands off his baby to a small group of nanny's he's hired. Perhaps, in another life he would have given them more time, but it simply isn't an option for him.

Tartaglia Doesn't have any issue, and wouldn't consider anything else. He watched his mother feed his siblings, and he's proud to be able to do the same for his own child. It's a special feeling, one he's never known before or since.

Wanderer Finds out quickly his body isn't capable of producing milk, and frantically requests a bottle. Nahida is nearby, and aids him, taking note of how...heartbroken he seemed to be.

Author’s note: Sushimi here! Here’s a few headcanon (can we even say this is a headcanon? Idk) that I have made for Itto’s birthday. This man deserve the world for being funny (and voiced by the same va as Ryuji from Persona 5). Would you believe me if I tell you that this was supposed to be a one shot? Pairing: Arataki Itto x Fem!reader (I have mentioned girl, like once)

Warning: It contains NSFW. So please if you are a minor, do not interact. Semi-Public, stare, fluff and suggestive at the end. Also, no beta we die like the way Inazuma lost their archon 500 years ago.

Arataki Itto who is celebrating his birthday with his gang in Inazuma city. A certain traveler helped Shinobu and the gang to distract Itto by playing a beetle battle. His gang is preparing a secret birthday party in the honour of the founder and current leader of the Arataki Gang.

You, being Itto’s partner, was the one who went to seek help from the Gang. Of course, you have plan everything. Not only the great numero uno Itto would get a birthday surprise but will also have a dinner date in Uryuu Restaurant.

Arataki Itto who get invitied by you to eat at Uryuu Restaurant right after the party... He was just wondering where you managed to get the money for this dinner. After all, Uryuu Restaurant is a rather expensive restaurant ad he wouldn’t want you to go broke.

You have reserved a rather secluded room for you to dine in. You wouldn’t want to be disturbed by his noisy companions nor by the waitress. The food is succulent, and you could tell that Itto was enjoying just as much as you do. You guys reminisce about the time you two almost got kicked out of Uryuu restaurant and if it wasn’t for Shinobu, you wouldn’t have the chance to eat here today.  

You end up having too much of a drink and despite being in public, you end up feeling a certain heat between your legs. You don’t know where it came from, maybe from his horns, the way his red eyes were shining, his cheeks slightly flushing…. God, why does his abs look so inviting?

Arataki Itto obviously wasn’t aware of the regards you were sending him through the dinner obviously. "He should be here..." You muttered, your clawed fingers rapidly tapping against the surface of the smooth wooden table. "Soon?... Maybe? Hopefully?"

You leaned outwards from your seat to scan the streets once more, frantically looking around for the familiar white haired male you knew as your older brother. However, the bustling streets of Port Ormos had no signs of the red Oni anywhere.

An annoyed sigh erupted from your lips, slumping onto your wooden chair in defeat. "I hope he didn't get caught in the storm... or the boat sunk..."

"Haven't you heard of the word 'Jinx' before?" The grey haired man sitting across from you asked, setting his book down and crossing his arms. "If you keep naming each and every negative outcome that had a reasonable chance to actually occur—"

"Yeah, yeah... It might happen..." You sulked, moping in your seat like a kicked puppy. And that was exactly his image of you, a sad, cute and lost puppy wimpering in it's seat across from him.

Alhaitham planted two fingers on the hard covered book, sliding it over to you. "Your brother will arrive eventually. If it helps to calm that endlessly chaotic mind of yours down, occupying it by reading something to your preferences will help greatly."

You took the book, flipping it to see the title. "Eh? Since when were you into Inazuman related stuff?" You asked, seeing the familiar picture of a purple and green baring it's sharp fangs at eachother, the title above written as; 'The Serpent and Drakes of Tokoyokoku'.

"Don't you remember? Back when you first arrived in Sumeru's Akademiya?" He asked, prompting you to recall that fateful encounter with the male.

The tall bright ceiling towered over you with lights that could blind anyone if they stared at it too long, rows of bookshelves displaying a variety of reading material, students either standing next to said bookshelves or sitting by themselves, engrossed in their studies.

The interior design was no laughing matter. It was so simple, yet, modern compared to your usual Inazuman designs that you were used to. So much plant life... and books.

You blinked in confusion, you didn't think the House of Daena would be this big. You felt like a small insignificant spec of dust in this room, and quite lost too.

"Eh... how in the world am I going to find that—"

"Standing around here and whining about getting lost instead of asking around for help isn't the best idea." A stoic voice spoke behind you, causing you to jump before turning around. "Oh. You're an Oni."

You touched your horns, but the markings on your face were pretty obvious too. "Uhh, yeah, i'm an Oni! My name's [Full Name]!" You chirped, offering him a handshake.

He stares at it for a second, with a blank expression, before eventually giving you a single firm handshake. "Alhaitham. You're from [Darshan], aren't you?"

"Eh? How'd you know?" You asked in shock, only for it to dissipate into embarrassment when he pointed at the book held closely to your chest, which had the Darshan's logo imprinted on the cover.

"Isn't the Vision Hunt Decree still ongoing? How did you get past Inazuma's borders?" He asked, crossing his muscular arms. He was way more muscular than your kin. "And you dropped this on the way in the House of Daena."

He hands you 'The Serpent and Drakes of Tokoyokoku', you thanked him before explaining your decision to leave Inazuma was long before the decree was implemented. You dearly missed your brother, but he respected your decision nonetheless. It was your dream to enter the Akademiya, after all, why would he want to crush it?

And as you continued to explain it, you weren't aware of his focused gaze on you.

You were cute when you ramble endlessly.

You giggled fondly to yourself, your legs swaying back and forth childishly underneath the table. "Yeah! Yeah! I didn't think you'd... ah..." You felt your cheeks flare up, hiding the bottom of your flushed face with the book.

"Didn't take a romantic interest in you because of our personalities clashing? Let's be bonest, no one would. But..." He reaches over and holds your hand, smiling affectionately at you. And he rarely smiles. "Your little ramblings weren't the only thing attracting me to you."

You melted when he brought your hand up to kiss your knuckle, something he knew would make you swoon without fail.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Port Ormos, stood a white haired male and his pet bull. "Uhhhh, hey, did we take a wrong turn near that rock we saw? I feel like we should've taken a left instead of a right... I don't see little [Nickname] anywhere, and we are in Port Ormos, right?" Itto asked, the little bull responding with an equally confused 'Moo'.

"Eh, we'll find our way there. There's a sibling out there waiting for us! Let's roll, Ushi!" Itto marched towards a random direction, his head held high despite receiving many confused looks.

Alhaitham stared at the white haired man walk by without realizing he had accidentally ignored his little sibling, who also didn't realize he was here. 'Certainly related.' He thought as you continued to descrive your brother's appearance, all the while neither of you realized the other was nearby.

He didn't bother using his words, only leaning across the table and held your chin. Flustered, you stumble over your words and froze in your seat. "A-Alhaitham?..." You whispered softly, your heart pounding against your ches—

"Oh! Itto!!" You cried as soon as he turned your head to face the said male nearby. Hearing your voice, the Oni turned around to see you enthusiastically waving at him. "Little [Nickname]!! Hah! See, Ushi? I told you Oni can sense eachother nearby!" He exclaimed proudly before running towards you,

With the grey haired scribe behind you, you ran towards your brother and jumped into his arms. "How's my lil' [Nickname] doing? It feels like an entire decade went by since I last saw you! You've grown so tall!"

"Speak for yourself!... Oh, hi Ushi!" You greeted, giving the little bull a chin scratch. "Man, I have so much I wanna talk about! But how's the gang? Any new rare beetles you caught? Is miss Shinobu still taking good care of you?" You asked, bombarding him with one question after another.

All the while, Alhaitham was silently reading the book and standing behind you, wondering how you could tolerate that boisterous laugh of his since birth.

"Relaaaaax, my lil' compadre. I know you wanna know all about my super cool adventures and how the Arataki "Shogun Slayer" Itto took on the Almighty Raiden Shogun all by himself!" Itto boasted, basking in your praises.

Alhaitham stared at you in disbelief for actually believing in this obvious lie. Then again, there's a reason why you're both related.

"If I recall, it was the traveller who defeated the electro archon. They're also the reason why the Vision Hunt Decree was sucessfully abolished and lifted Inazuma's border." Alhaitham suddenly spoke, closing the book and crossing his arms.

The white haired male's eyes widened at his built figure, his arms were far more muscular than his, the suit he wore hugged his body tightly and showed off his abs. Who in the world is this guy and what kind of training regiment did he go through!?

"Ohh, right! Taki', this is Alhaitham! My boyfriend—"

"BOYFRIEND!?" He yelled, his voice echoing loudly in the air.

Alhaitham only blinked, unfazed by the Oni's sudden outburst and the many eyes staring curiously at the scene. All the while you shrank under their gaze, smiling sheepishly at the grey haired male who gave you the usual blank expression.

"Hold up, hold up, hold up. Since when did you start dating!?... And why him!?" He asked, his eyes hurt and betrayed. You winced internally, you haven't seen those puppy doll eyes since you left Inazuma.

"T-Taki', don't get upset. We... just got together pretty recently, right, haitham'?" You asked, your eyes gazing into his for help. Alhaitham, though knowing that was an obvious lie, only sighed and lazily nodded in agreement.

He doesn't care if your relationship with him was publicly announced, so as long as he doesn't end up getting more work just because he's taken. But, it seems like this would be a tiring reunion for him.

"As for why we... starting datin—"

"Is it because of his muscles!?"

"...What?"

Alhaitham barely flinched when the white haired male suddenly grabbed his wrist, lifting his arm up and gesturing to his biceps. "Look at him! He's absolutely beefy! As a preeeetty buffed dude myself, it ain't a surprise when there's a fan club dedicated to the One and Oni! Everyone loves a dude with muscles!... How did you get so buff anyways? You better not lay a hand on my lil' [Nickname]!"

"[Name]'s dating me for a reason. They wouldn't have continued our relationship if it they held no romantic feelings towards me. Besides, it doesn't benefit me whatsoever if I harm them. There's a reason why I chose them as my [S/O]... because I truly do love them.." Alhaitham stated, his eyes— though normally cold and unfeeling, was full of affection and love as he stared at you.

Itto stumbles over his words, waving his clawed hands around frantically. "Benefit this, benefit that, yeah, yeah, whatever. What if they run into some... I dunno, some dangerous dudes!? You—"

"Well then, what can I do to reassure you that I won't?" Alhaitham interrupted. "I don't exactly need to seek for your approval of our relationship, nor would I let them be harmed in any way. But if it helps to ease your mind, let me know how I can 'prove' myself to you."

Just to make you happy, he'll satisfy this... guy.

The white haired man blinked, processing his proposal. His eyes stared at his muscular figure for a minute, tapping his chin with squinted eyes as he thought of an idea. "Heh, well, you said you would protect em', right? Wanna make a bet on that?"

Itto cracks his knuckles, his arms bulking up slightly while showing a toothy grin. Despite having smaller biceps compared to Alhaitham, the male thought of him as a small fry. "I challenge you to an Onikabuto Battle Royale!"

He presents the brightly coloured bug in his fingers, small legs swimming in the air aimlessly. Alhaitham blinked, raising an eyebrow at the obvious fact that he doesn't have an Onikabuto.

"Ohh, hi there lil' guy! What's his name?" You asked, playing with it's legs. A giggle left your lips as it's nuzzles your finger, seemingly showing you affection.

"Say hello to my new compadre; The Sibling-Oni-Bonder-Boyfriend-Breaker!" Itto announced, presumably making up the name on the spot, you only continued to play with the bug while your boyfriend smirked a little.

"Aww, he's adorable!... Except Haitham' doesn't have one... We're in Sumeru, not Inazuma." You sheepishly stated.

"Bah!— Pssh, yeahahaha! I know. I know. And since he doesn't have one, he forfeits! And i'm the forever unbeatable champ of Onikabutos!" The Oni exclaimed, puffing out his chest proudly and smirking to himself.

"How about this—" Alhaitham walks back to the table, removing one of his sleeves before rolling his shoulder. Your face flushed, his muscles flexing at every movement almost effortlessly. "—Lets just get this over with. Fairly and quickly."

Propping his elbow on the table, Alhaitham nods at his opened hand, gesturing at the seat for your brother. "Oh! An arm wrestle, huh? Hah, rookie mistake! I'm also known as 'The Undefeated Arm Wrestling Champion'! Get ready to lose!"

To be fair, Alhaitham disliked physical challenges, opting for more intellectual-related games. But to not upset you and your brother, he decided it would be more fitting for something small and physical.

Without missing a beat, he takes his seat across Alhaitham, locking hands and fingers with the male. You jogged over excitedly, taking a seat in the middle as to not upset either one of them. You loved them equally and dearly, it kind of hurts to see your brother acting so dramatic about your love life.

But you understand, after all, you've only got eachother.

You hold their locked hands, deciding to be an unbiased referee. Itto smirks confidently, gripping the table for stability with his other hand as Alhaitham did the same. "Ready?~ Three, two, one... go!"

Letting their hands go, it (unsurprisingly) came as a shock when Itto's hand was slammed onto the table with a soft but audible thud. "Gaaah!" The Oni yelped, nearly thrown off his chair.

Alhaitham released the male's hand, his muscles twitching a little under your gaze. It never fails to make you flush, and that blush never fails to make him amused.

"Wah?? Heyheyhey waitwaitwaitwait... you were by like— one second early! That's not fair at all! C'mon, let's go again. And this time; I won't be going easy!" He rubs his wrist and goes back to the same position earlier, waiting for your boyfriend to accept his rematch.

Alhaitham looked at you with bored eyes, he didn't want this pointless shenanigan to drag on endlessly. You grinned sheepishly, mouthing 'One more round?' to him.

He stared at you, brows furrowed and wanting to decline... but, it seems your puppy dog eyes never fail as he begrudgingly locked hands with the Oni once more.

And he sure regrets agreeing to this rematch.

"Best out of 57!" The white haired Oni exclaimed once more, gripping his sore wrist and rotating his near tired hand, the faint sound of his bones cracking made you cringe.

Alhaitham, on the other hand, leaned back and rolled his eyes. "How long do you want this to drag on for?" He asked, voice a little dry.

You gave him a cup of water, guilt eating you up for asking your boyfriend to accept every rematch. You looked at your still determined brother, who's still begging for one more round. "Itto..." You moved your chair closer to his, wraoping your arms around his slightly muscular ones. "Haitham's tired... C'mon, just let this go? For me?"

"Seriously, why'd you pick this dude to take care of you?... Am I not good enough?" He asked, voice growing softer at the end as he stared at you with glossy eyes.

You sighed, enveloping him in a hug. "Now, when did I ever say that? You're my one and Oni big brother, you have a special place in my heart because we've been through a lot."

You heard a quiet sniffle, his shoulder shaking a little. "There, there... You can let it out." You reassured softly, patting his back. It bring you memories of when he'd do the same, the days where you'd trip over a rock clumsily and bawled our eyes out as he cuddled you while reassuring he'd 'Take revenge on the rock'.

"I... I'm not gonna cry. I'm a man!" He croaked out, you pulled away and already seeing tears streaming down his face. "I just miss you, lil [Nickname]... I don't wanna lose you to this weirdo!"

Alhaitham coughed into fist, before taking another sip of water whilst you pout at him. "You won't, big bro... And he won't do anything bad, I guarantee it!... Besides, if I ever get a vacation, i'll always visit you in Inazuma!... If Alhaitham joins me?...."

You slowly turned to Alhaitham, showing him the best puppy eyes you could muster. Which— you didn't need to out much effort in anyways. "A vacation is a vacation. Less work for me, more time to be with you. As long as I can rest in a quiet, solitary place with you. You may be a handful, but at least you know how to handle yourself well and I don't have to bother cleaning up any mistakes you might've left for me."

Itto visibly narrowed his eyes, but noticing how happy you looked when he agreed and how he doesn't hesitate in doing whatever you want— You both truly love eachother.

Even if Alhaitham sounds stern, cold and unpleasant, you don't seem bothered by it at all.

"...Fine, i'll let him be your man. But you better take good care of them if i'm not around! This Oni's got a lotta work goin' on with the gang back in Inazuma, so I can't always visit you in Sumeru." Itto said, puffing up his chest proudly.

"No problem! Since the decree's been removed, we can write letters more frequently! But we'll worry about that later... I wanna show you some mushrooms we can play with!" You exclaimed, tugging your brothers arms, your eyes filled with childlike excitement.

"No way! You talkin' about those bouncy mushrooms! Wnat are we waiting for? Let's roll!" Itto yelled, punching the air with a fist while you looked at Alhaitham.

"...Sitting this one out, my energy is needed for some paperwork back at home." Alhaitham explained, dreading the loads of unnecessary projects asking for approval. Most of which might've come from his blonde roommate.

You shrugged, running over to his side and pecking his cheek before dragging your brother away to a spot where there were plenty of bouncy mushrooms. "If you're too tired, you can share the workload with me!" You exclaimed, before running off with Itto.

As Alhaitham stared at the two of you running off to who knows where, the corner of his lips slowly tugged upwards. "Have fun, love. Reliable as you are, there's no need to worry about the paperwork, i'll handle them all today. Just prioritise on your happiness and his."

Perhaps that contagious smile of yours was another thing he was attracted to.

After the idea floated around my mind for a while now, I decided to give a try to writing headcanons/short fics, specifically for Genshin Impact (with now a bit of Honkai Star Rail), with a particular focus on comfort/fluff.

I got inspired to do this after seeing how often I would turn to comfort or fluff content on tumblr, as a way to cope with the void of loneliness (sometimes overthinking too). As such, why not add my own contribution... as long as it can, hopefully, provide some relief to one person out there.

Warnings: none that I’m aware of. Possibly some strong language but that’s it. Pet names (Albedo: My dove). I apologize if the characters seem OOC, I tried to keep them in character as much as possible.

I had this idea at like 3:00 am last night so, here it is. Please note, these headers are not mine, they belong to their proper owners.

Arataki Itto

Alright listen, it’s going to be a fight

Itto is also a blanket hog and you can not tell me otherwise

This man will snatch the blankets back from you, rather he’s asleep or not

If asleep, he’ll mutter “mine….mmmine!” And will yank them away

Each night is a battle field for the both of you

On the rare occasion that he doesn’t mind, he’ll just stare at how adorable you are

The rest of the time? He’s viewing it as competition and he’s going to win

You two are better off having your own separate blankets

Honesty? You’re better off having two separate beds. He’s also a bed hog. It’s either get a bed for yourself, sleep on the pinky sized amount of bed you got, or use him as a bed instead.

But I already know you’re going for the last option so i don’t know why I bothered listing the rest

Venti

At first, he’ll find it cute and funny that you hog all of the blankets

Seeing you swaddled up and sleeping peacefully brings a smile to his face

Give it a couple of months. This man is really patient when it comes to you, but he also gets cold at night.

He’ll come to the conclusion that if you’re going to take all the blankets, then you’re going to be his blanket instead

Venti absolutely will wedge his way underneath you or underneath the blankets.

Will whine about it. All night. Until you finally just throw the blankets at him to get him to shut up.

Listen he’s had a long day drinking at the tavern okay, he needs his beauty rest but you’re taking that away from him by stealing the blankets!

He will eventually write a passive aggressive song about it

“This next song I wrote myself! It’s about a thief in the night that goes around stealing everyone’s blankets.”

He has no shame. All he wants are those damn blankets and by the archons he will get them.

Although the next morning he does feel a little bad

Especially if you have a mark on your head from where you hit your head on the floor

A sleepy Scaramouche is a dangerous Scaramouche. Even you can’t escape his wrath.

Although it’s pretty tamed compared to the wrath directed towards his subordinates.

After a while you got used to it since it became a nightly routine

You hog a blanket, he yells at you, you hog them again, he pushes you, and you get back on the bed to lay on top of him

He stopped trying to get you off of him he also loves being close to you like that but ssshhh don’t tell anyone

Also secretly enjoys the little nightly routine. Not sure if it’s because of love or sadism.

Albedo

You see, this man is really smart. He started to keep spare blankets under the bed for himself.

At first, he just kind of stared at you when he woke up in the middle of the night with all the blankets piled on top of you

The cold doesn’t effect him that much since he’s spent so much time in the plummeting temperatures of Dragonspine.

So really he’s not annoyed or cold, he’s rather curious as to why….you feel the need to do that-

Will 100% ask you about it till he gets an answer that satisfies him

“My dove, why do you hog the blankets?”

“I just do it in my sleep I guess, I’m not sure.”

“Interesting. Perhaps I should do a case study on this.”

“No. Don’t. It’s not that serious.”

Childe

Regarding the banner….that was the only one I could find of him

He laughs to himself about it

Then he flops on top of you djfnf

Sneznaya is freezing! Which is why he understands your bodies need to hog the blankets even in your sleep

But he also lives in Sneznaya so you better hand over those blankets.

He will gently try to wedge them out from under you. He doesn’t want to wake you up, you just look so peaceful.

If he manages to get the blankets, he’ll drape them over the both of you, cuddle in closer, and make sure he’s tucked in there real tight

If not? Well then he’s laying on top of you for warmth.

He adapts to wrapping the blankets around his body at night to keep you from yanking them away from him.

DOESN’T GO TO YOUR OFFICE — diluc

when you first told DILUC that you'll start working at home from now on, he was relieved. ever since the announcement of a certain virus that's been infecting everyone like wildfire, the man could only worry about your safety – especially since your workplace has so much people – so now that you're officially working at home, he can now rest peacefully.

as someone who respects privacy and silence, diluc makes sure to not be noisy outside, including not vacuuming in front of your office and wouldn't put the volume on the tv to the max (im sorry but hes honestly the type to make his tv loud just to have a bg noise), which you appreciate a lot. though you wonder if he forgot the fact that your office is sound-proof.

he also doesn't want to go to your office, mainly because he doesn't want to be seen by your nosy colleagues and because he simply doesn't want to disturb your meetings with his presence. it's like the tables have been turned around the both of you since back then, you're the one who didn't want to interrupt with his work.

sometimes when he feels like it, diluc would send you a text message and ask if you'd like him to bring a drink or snack to your office. if you said yes, expect yourself to hear a few knocks one second after you sent your message. turns out, he was actually supposed to come in to your office unannounced with your drink and snacks but decided to text you first because of his conscience bothering him. it'll take months before he'll actually start visiting your office without having to text you that's a lie, he'll never do it.

LOVES YOUR BOSS MOMENTS — childe, kaeya

the moment you informed CHILDE that you’ll be working at home, he was honestly curious to see how you work. are you the type to scold many of your coworkers in a scary manner? are you the fun and chill type that made your coworkers love you? ah, so many questions !!

eventually his curiosity was lifted when he overheard you while he was cleaning outside your office, causing him to stop cleaning for a moment to hear what you're saying to your colleagues, listening to you destroying your coworker for something they’re trying to bring you down from.

it only increased his love for you because wow, who knew you would be such a boss at your job? don’t get him wrong, he very much knows how great you are — it just astounds him since you’re so closed off about your work ! childe could only smile from just imagining how scared his old subordinates would be if you were a part of his organization.

expect him to try and convince you to start telling many of your work stories — doesn’t matter if they’re all embarrassing in your eyes — as long as you tell him the ones where you prove yourself that you’re a boss (as you should !!)

KAEYA would be happy that you no longer have to go out to your crowded workplace and risk your health anymore when you told him. he feels even more unease when it comes to your safety since there’s been a virus that’s been causing so much trouble for everyone, so now that you’ll stay home until it’s considered safe to go out, kaeya can live happily.

unlike childe, kaeya only gets to see your angry side when your coworkers didn’t do their job and would think wow, you're so cute when you're angry as if he hasn't seen you being mad at him at all. he doesn’t even have to go near your office to hear your angry voice because he can simply hear it from where he is (given that unlike diluc’s, your office isn't sound-proof).

during those times when you're mad, kaeya will make sure to help you calm down after the meeting. he'll either stop by your office to give you a snack and drink or cuddle with you until your next meeting starts. if you're into sweet-talk, then kaeya's the right person for you, expect him to start telling you sweet-nothings in your ear and do everything he can to make you smile or make your cheeks feel warmer than a stove.

as much as kaeya adores your boss moments, he doesn't like how you're too busy with your work because of your piled up works to do. whenever you sometimes overwork yourself from the amount of work you've been given, your lover will make sure to make you take breaks every now and then by dragging you out from your office and spend time with him even if it takes a few minutes. you may be cute but not when you're stressed and overworked >:00 !!

VISITS YOUR OFFICE TO GIVE YOU FOOD — thoma, zhongli

when THOMA finds out that you'll start doing your work at home, he beams. mainly because you don't have to get out from your home and risk your health and definitely not because he misses you a lot.

he would often find himself at the kitchen daily even more than before, trying out snack recipes that he thinks you’d like as taroumaru watches from afar, eating his dog treat happily as always. if he deems the said snack worthy, then thoma will immediately take it away to your office and give it to you with taroumaru following.

however, unlike the rest of the househusbands besides diluc and scaramouche, thoma wouldn't be seen by your colleagues since he makes sure that he's not seen in your screen – whether it'd be going behind your laptop and place the food beside your things, or stay a few steps away from you and just give you a thumbs up before rushing off outside to not disturb you anymore.

whenever you're done with your meetings, you always have your favorite choice of drink waiting outside with your lover and dog watching a movie or resting while waiting for you to finish. expect him to try and help you clean up your desk so that you can have a tidy spot for once.

sweet-sweet ZHONGLI, who smiles so wide when he realizes that he won’t have to feel lonely anymore because of the fact that you’ll be staying home without going out to work. expect him to take you to your workplace to get your things and will help you start rearranging your office to make it more comfortable and suitable for your online meetings.

sweet-sweet zhongli, who makes sure to be quiet whenever he’s outside of your office and always prepares snacks for you. it’s scary how he always knows when you’re craving for something to eat, something that he excuse it as a coincidence and chuckles about it. he likes to think that it’s an instinct of his to know when you’re starving and/or know what you want.

sweet-sweet zhongli, who always makes sure to knock on your door before entering with foods that’ll surely make your mouth water at the aroma alone. at this point, it’s normal for your colleagues to see his lower body coming to view in your screen and putting down the tray that has your meal. they actually find it endearing and a bit jealous.

sweet zhongli, who listens to what you did for work as he massages your shoulders happily after your tiring meetings, adding a few comments here and there so that you’ll know that he’s listening to your rants. he's that good of a househusband <<3

SOMETIMES IN THE BACKGROUND — itto, xiao

ITTO felt excited when you said you'll start working at home, thinking that you meant that you’re willing to help him with the farm – only to find out that you meant you're actually still working in your career but at home, much to his sadness. nevertheless though, he was still happy because hey, at least you're now staying with him 24/7 :DD !!

like diluc, itto wouldn't dare to enter your office during your meetings in fear of disturbing you as well. despite that though, your colleagues know him already because of your choice of.. background.

you see, your office has a window that shows the beautiful view of the farm and field, something that you thought would look great as your background since the window is behind you and is visibly seen to your colleagues. what you don't think about is the fact that your husband could be seen by your many colleagues – leading many occasions where they can see itto talking with his farm- animals and/or getting chased by chickens and hens.

it only took you a long time before you realized that itto can be seen thanks to one of your friends who pointed it out, causing you to feel your cheeks warming when you realized your mistake. how could you face your lover knowing that almost all of your colleagues have seen the things he did outside?!

XIAO felt like the gods have smiled upon him when he found out about the new changes in your work. he’s been anxiously waiting for the announcement of what will happen to your and your company, so now that it's official that you'll be staying at home, he won't have to worry about anything regarding you catching the virus.

now, unlike most househusbands, your office is an open-door room that leads to the kitchen and dining area, causing xiao to be often seen by your colleagues doing random things. whether it'd be cleaning up some items in the background, walking by but accidentally tripped, cooking a meal, or even eat almond tofu nearby, not knowing that he can be seen. you didn't bother telling him since you assumed he knew.

sometimes, you'd feel like a boomer. especially during the first month of remote working since you had never used zoom or any online meeting apps, so you often come up to xiao when it comes to encountering technical difficulties. thankfully, xiao's been with zhongli for a long time to know how to fix your problems and/or answer your questions. he's basically a technician to you now.

NOISY AS FU— — scaramouche

“so? i’m still your alarm either way.” is SCARAMOUCHE’s response when you first told him that you’ll start working at home. in reality, he was lowkey relieved since he didn't want you to risk yourself to go to work.

just like diluc, scaramouche respects boundaries and silence, so he makes sure to not interrupt any of your meetings. he'll only enter if he wants to let you know that he'll be going out to buy some groceries or if he brings you a drink after you texted him.

now, despite not being able to enter your office, he's often... loud outside without realizing it.

it's not that he's intentionally loud to disturb you – no, no – he just gets a bit clumsy whenever he cleans. whenever scaramouche cleans, he sometimes gets too deep in his thoughts that he doesn't pay attention to his surroundings besides the one he's cleaning in, leaving him accidentally stumping his toe on one of the table legs and speak in colorful language, much to your embarrassment and shock when you’re in your office hearing it. thankfully it only happens when you're not talking (so far, at least).

besides that, on occasions when you're taking a "short" break while waiting for your next meeting, scaramouche will make sure to keep an eye on the time to let you know when you need to go back in case you ended up procrastinating. if you ever say “just a few minutes”, you can say goodbye to your sweet bed because your husband will literally drag you away towards your office. it's honestly scary how strong he is 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♀️

but what she’s not known for is being a selfless lover

beidou leaves that part of herself behind closed doors, reserved only for you to see

she’ll literally drag you back in, don’t underestimate her strength

and once she has you in her grasp? then what, you ask?

when ningguang’s assitants begin to pester her to begin the day, she’ll grumpily get up

but before she leaves the bed, she might or might not engage in a slow makeout session with you... depends on if she wants to annoy her assistants or not

she gets ready quickly though, so there’s no need to rush any early morning romance between you two

eventually, she will need to depart her chambers

but not before placing a kiss on your head and wishing you a good day, of course

“hmph, good morning, my love. you’re so warm this morning...hm? you’re my ‘personal heater’ now? oh, well i don’t see a problem with that... as long as you can still play with my hair? yes, just like that, dearest. now, how was your sleep?”

as the former general mahamatra, cyno can be a scary guy

however, when cyno is simply just your boyfriend?

he's almost the complete opposite of what his former title makes him out to be

in bed, especially in the mornings, cyno is quite cuddly

he prefers having you lay on his chest while he sleeps

but... cyno does sleep better when he can feel your weight on him

and cyno isn’t opposed to switching places, especially after a hard day at the akademiya

he's quite comfortable sleeping on your chest, sighing in delight as he drifts off to sleep 

plus, whenever he wakes, the first thing he gets to see is your lovely face

and it takes everything in him to not coo so softly at you

because half of your face is smushed as you lay peacefully on his chest, your breathing so deep it nearly tickles cyno when you exhale

once he’s woken up more, he begin to stroke your back slowly

but sometimes it’s hard to think when cyno has you right in front of him

he lets his mind unwind as he cotemplates, planning out your day together

and maybe even a cute date to take you on, if the day calls for it

so when he feels like you’ve had enough sleep, he’ll begin his signature “cyno wakeup call”

and once he sees your pretty eyes, cyno will gently lean over and give you a sweet good morning kiss

he’ll start out by gently calling out your name

then he’ll chuckle as you groan and begin to wake up

it’s slow, but it gives cyno a chance to pull you even closer to him

after a while, cyno will gently pull away and give you a love-filled gaze that would be suffocating if it weren’t him

and to finish off this lovely little routine?

cyno will say the worst pick-up line you’ve ever heard, causing you to groan as he cackles and throws his head back

“hey baby. wanna know what’s on the menu for today? well, i was thinking a little bit of me ‘n’ you... get it? hey, hey! don’t give me that look— that one took me a while to come up with! surely it’s enough to earn me a sweet kis— hmm, thank you.”

itto can be terrifying

a lot of people still have many misconceptions about onis, so it isn’t strange for itto to accidently scare people away

oh, if only they knew the itto you knew!

it’s like he’ll stop living if he can’t at least touch you, y’know?

because the itto you know is so clingy in bed

however, sometimes when you two woke up, itto had managed to push you away in the middle of the night

he’s accidentally pushed you off the bed a few times too ...

but for the majority of nights together, while you sleep beside him it’s like a giant bear hug

and itto remembers to ease up on his grip!! most of the time!!

he wouldn’t want his favorite person pillow to be squished, right?

because then he wouldn’t have the best view to wake up too (you!)

seriously though, itto really loves waking up and seeing you

he just thinks you’re so precious when you first wake up, and an overwhelming desire to cuddle you takes over him

and if itto wakes up to see that you two separated in your sleep?

he’s quick to remedy that, wrapping you in his big strong arms as he places his head into the crook of your neck

when you do finally wake up, except to have your whole face kissed over and over again 

itto really enjoys relaxing with you before the day starts

most mornings he even plans a nice date for you two too!

just make sure not to shoot down all of his... interesting date ideas, as itto really is trying!!

Itto x male reader fluff

Itto chuckled as he watched the tiny bunny kit eat the carrots he had set aside for a stew he was making that night though it seems like someone else had plans for them.

He didn't know how the tiny bunny got into his kit and into his things but he couldn't bring himself to be mad as he stared down the other before crouching "and who are you?" The demon asked the toddler who only blinked back and resumed eating his veggies "where are your parents?" Again no answer as Itto pokes the bunnies chubby cheek causing the tiny bunny to look at him curiously and fully recognizing that someone else was there.

The tiny kit examined the demon and stopped at his horns, Itto curious as the pup sat up and grabbed his own little bunny ears and that's when Itto realized that the little guy thought that Itto the descendant of the Red Oni was Infact a bunny like him.

"Oh no little guy, I'm not a bunny--" his words cut as the bunny clung to him "ah crap..." The white haired man sighed as the tiny bunny rubbed his little face against him, obviously imprinting on him "well...welcome to the Arataki gang little guy"

The kit never spoke so Itto just named him (name) and learned he loved veggies and fruits and didn't care for meat "well more for me!" He joked as the bunny at the cooked veggies happily clearly his first time eating cooked vegetables.

"You really like veggies huh? Well we will make sure you're fed buddy"

(Name) was beloved by the gang, Itto always getting his new son toys and such and someone in the gang made the bunny a stuffed doll of Itto himself and the demon would be a fucking liar if he said he didn't swoon over how attached the bunny became over it.

He also learned hybrids nested as noted as the kit kept sleeping under all his blankets that he collected and hoarded all his little belongings in it and some of his papas things as well.

He also learned bunnies need to chew the little guy kept trying to grab and chew anything he could and eventually Itto found a wooden toy for the hybrid who immediately began chewing on it.

"(Name)! I got you something buddy!" Itto said happily as he burst in, grinning at the little babe who was playing with his little Itto doll and toy monsters as Itto opened a bag of fresh veggies and fruits that the bunny had not tried yet and immediately all things were abandoned and the tot waddled over "this is all for you bud!"

Grabbing one he took a bite and smiled up at the demon "is that good?"

(Name) nodded and continued eating away, bouncing as he ate.

"Whoa speedster!" Itto laughed as his son ran/waddled/crawled through the tent as he had a case of the zoomies "you're gonna sleep good tonight!"

This usually happened mid day the boy suddenly needling to to run and burn energy.

When the crash came, Itto held his son close as he made dinner for the two, roasted veggies for (name) and a meaty stew for himself as the pup slept away and his legs twitched slightly as if he were running in his sleep.

"Sleep well bud, love ya"

"Luv you too papa..."

Itto was shocked as he heard his son talk and smiled like an idiot and held his son close and continued cooking for the two.

I actually forgot in the first part that I was supposed to add the ex but eh. this was actually due like a month or two ago but I went on a break so it was postponed until i had the inspiration to write.

is to airheaded to even realize, and didn't know to begin with. she was in her euthymia, not minding the pure and still silence that seemed to flow within her personal space. but then she could feel a buzz that tingled in her spine. it was the raiden shogun.

when she immediately left the euthymia, she was greeted by the sight of her own clone. sitting in a mat and enjoying tea? with you? is the shogun even able to digest the tea? wouldn't she be a better option to invite?

you look over to her in suprise at the sudden intrusion as did the shogun but they did it with more ease, as if they were already aware. ei doesn't let you speak another word as she walks over gracefully with a haste you don't normally see.

unintentionally gets jealous and wonders why she's been uninvited to the unofficial tea party. how could you >:(

she frowns like a cute kitten, looking over the shogun with narrowed eyes before discreetly scooting over a little closer to you.

well this is a rather tricky one. but I for one, can say that the outcome heavily depends on what the person was doing exactly and her mood. first of all, her mood. which is 86% guaranteed to be irritable, therefore leaving her to be brutally honest.

second, what the person was doing will influence her mood and actions. if they were merely pleading with you for a chance to talk. and was making you struggling to explain that you dont want to, her mood would of course be annoyed as she will step in and brutally destroy them with her honest, sharp words.

but, if they were downright harassing you. all she needs is to sharpen her words and aim it at the person with deadly precision. when they somehow had a chance to talk in between her, she would pick at their stammers. call them a 'creep who can't understand boundaries'.

"whatever you need with s/o, I suggest you drop it. unless you want to get confined by the knights?" she would threaten with a barely twitching face. a straight and mocking deadpan as she looks straight at them.

they quickly scurry off with a frightened yelp. probably spotting the pair of blades she casually twirled around with her fingers. she sends you a look. "don't let people like them get their way with you, but.. if you need to permanently dispose of them, call me."

from his face alone, despite no any outstanding shifts. anyone could think that he's particularly annoyed and glowering down the person. maybe it's his height?

well whatever. he in fact, could not care less. though he does find the thought of reducing this.. old freind to the point of a red faced, fuming lad very entertaining and so he pertains.

the way he slides into the conversation is painfully suspicious. but with his rather charmastic personality, any sort of thoughts would be erased to existence as he basically carries the flow of the conversation. like how he'd do when practicing the art of his vision.

"ah, don't be silly. there's enough s/o to go around. go on, I'll let you two catch up. I'll be back." he even encourages their behavior. you peer at him with confusion and a side eye of irritation because what the hell?? he's supposed to be on your side!! the person is unsuspecting, too deep in his web too realize that he's literally dragging it on to slap them with reality.

"unfortunately, s/o is mine. as a whole and as the greedy man I am, would hate to share them with anyone." ayato says a second later, without missing a beat and absolutely shattering warm mood the person displayed.

and then he's gone, casting you one last innocent smile before disappearing.

you couldn't focus on anything but him for the next moments. and it made the person terribly disappointed .. . better luck next time. 🤷‍♀️

⁀ ✦ kamisato ayaka

oh ayaka.. poor little nice ayaka, unlike her brother she's too kind, and pure to not let you talk with your uhm.. past lover. but ayaka being ayaka... she's most probably seen as intimidating (status wise) and hard to compare to from your ex.

all they could say is "I need to talk to s/o." and all she'd do is straighten her spine, pursue her lips and nod politely. not for a second, she'd think that the person would have any I'll intentions.

that is until you displayed a grimace. that's when a concerned look overtakes her face, she switches her vision to you and the unknown, stubborn stranger who seemed to have made it in their mind to talk with you.

"im.. afraid I cannot allow you to talk to them, I ask of you to leave. your presence is making them uncomfortable." she presses her lips together and maintains a cool facade.

with the people around, making a scene with kamisato ayaka, the shirasagi no himegimi out of all people is out of question. and left with no choice. they leave not without casting you a withering look, clearly meant to send a secret message, a threat.

she's honestly too pure hearted and kind to be jealous. brushing it off however in a realistic scenario, where you display uneasiness. she'd piece it all together and ask the person kindly to leave you be. they couldn't deny since she's surrounded by people that admire her. and for once, she's severely pleased with her position and power. like brother like sister right?

her wit will shine through, using her title to her advantage. hehehehhewhhwajka

albedo would rather use the rare feeling of jealousy to observe his strange behavior, though he's definitely not sure if it was worth it to subdue his curiosity to feel the loathe just from sights alone.

constantly testing his limits. ranging from seeing how would he feel if they showed a clear romantic attraction to his s/o, touching them freely, complimenting them.. and I tell you, he actually pulls through and continues to jot down.

don't look at him like that, he's built for knowledge for archons sake!!

the only way for him to step in is if the person actually had the AUDACITY to put their hands on you, scream on your face and leave marks on your wrists. a skeptical stare from albedo is all it takes for them to stiffen up and get defensive.

he kicks them out immediately after violently shutting down their defenses and humbling them I'm the process. that's albedo for you, maybe he'll even apologize for being a bystander only and admit that he was using the moment as an experiment of sorts..

whether or not you think his reasoning is okay is based on you. though it is admittedly concerning.. you'd expect nothing less, nothing more from albedo who will continue his thirst for new experiences.

how bold... usually ningguang would find it as something she could ignore and carry on with. but there's something she doesn't like in their actions and words. so she does what she knows best. inspect and pick out the weaknesses, the vulnerabilities, a blind spot.

their actions in particular, are spiky, tense and full of anticipation. clearly holding back some sort of urge, completely prone to a violent outburst, through physical means or... words. their tone is a pitch higher, pausing to take sharp intakes of breaths, and far too sweet for someone you had left off in a bad ending.

she narrows her eyes, she doesn't like it very much when someone's targeting something--someone that she holds on high regard.

she's visibly looking more angry, her tone sharper when talking to them but making a sudden softness as she switches to you. but alas.. she needs to maintain a more.. professional figure, and holds back for her sake alone.

"if you're not here to talk about business, but rather annoying my s/o and myself. you serve as nothing but a nuisance." she speaks so calmly that it greatly contrasts her words.

faced with the might and power of the tianquan, they've no choice but to leave. and you're left with a more than pleased ningguang whose mood you note is significantly better.
