Lorenz considered himself to be a member of house leadership if not... well, Claude had earned his place in his heart. He caught sight of something and realized it was in fact a someone. He strode over to the person whose garish clothing and slouch drew Lorenz like Seteth to Sylvain.

“Can you explain... yourself?” Lorenz folded his arms. “You clearly aren’t in a uniform. Are you target practice?”

You may have noticed that a Quagsire has invaded the premises.

Where did it come from? Who knows. 

All Carmen knows is that it suddenly appeared out of the water and it scared the living daylights out of her. And what’s worse, she couldn’t find Hilbert! 

Wait...was it the Quagsire who was in an unfamiliar terrain, or Carmen...?

Oh yes--the Head Captain's office. A... safe place to be... or was it? Alas, April 1st had arrived, thus Juushirou was up to his tomfoolery well before dawn. Early enough to blow up hundreds (literally, there are hundreds) of balloons to the point that they were cluttering and stacked in droves to the very ceiling. Of course--he had been mindful enough to allow some negotiation rooms. Just enough for Shunsui to get to his desk and work. But... only just enough. And the day was still new.

good thing he’s not going to the office today.

"Onii-chan~ I love you~~~ I made you breakfast~! Fufufu, you thought. April fool~" Although... He had in fact made breakfast - some awful egg tomato muffins... And Perhaps he didn't hate him all that much. But... That wasn't the point of the first of April, was it?

What an accursed day! To torment him with such a tease, with the glee of a mischievous imp! The 1st of April!

A bewildered, wide-eyed stare greeted Ritsu back as the elder Sakuma processed what he’d just heard, and what he’s seeing right in front of him. Despite the joke, Ritsu had indeed made him breakfast, and it smelled so delicious...! There’s no mistaking the delicate scent of tomatoes in the muffins.

Even if it’s an April Fool’s joke...Even if Ritsu may not have fully meant it, a small smile found its way out unto Rei’s lips...

And then...

With the quickness of a cobra...

...He sprung.

“Oh, Ritsu! Pretty sweet my angel Ritsu! I’ll be April’s Fool for you!”

There's a present on Alexandra's desk. Neatly wrapped with a pretty bow, except it explodes with glitter when opened! A note on the inside reads "To go with your sparkling eyes ;3 - Maria".

Walking early in her classroom, the chestnut haired girl saw a present on her desk. Wondering who could want to give her this, she saw the note. Taking it to read, she saw a familiar name, Alexandra was really curious since she doesn't remember telling which school she was going neither her class... Checking that no one was around, she opened the box to only to be surprised and covered in glitter. Now she'll get her revenge one day but she still find this funny.

"Alright, alright, you got me. It really made a day brighter."

Something like a giggle escaped Lorenz’s mouth and he quickly tried to stifle it. What was he, a child? This had to be kept a secret. Watching the worm be so sweet and responsive to being lightly cuddled was delightful. He should’ve gotten a pet long ago.

“Alright, new friend. I have a small box I can make work.” Lorenz went back to his bedroom and shut the door. He didn’t think he needed a cage, but he still wanted something the fuzzy worm could shelter in. He had a shallow box he stored handkerchiefs in inside his dresser and pulled it out, opening it and setting the worm down on the soft pile of cloth.

Lorenz pulled out a leather journal from his desk from inside a hidden compartment. He pulled up a chair and looked at Sylvain, trying to discern if he was comfortable. “Maybe I could read you to sleep? Ah, if you understand me I suppose this would be embarrassing but you can’t tell anyone. I, er, haven’t had the courage to read this aloud yet anyway. Let me just see if it flows, okay?

“Ink could pour from my quill like a river, My dear, and still not truly capture you, Years and moons at your side still I shiver, Our love with every glance born anew. A stroke of sunshine caresses your hair, And my fingers are compelled to follow...” Lorenz hesitated, glancing at the box. He made eye contact with Sylvain. “Is it bad?” he asked nervously.

The small trill made Lorenz’s chest feel warm. Perhaps he was the one who could benefit from having a pet. Cute, small, easy to take care of, likes being handled- he was getting protective. “Not hungry?” Lorenz asked, looking down at the fuzzy worm shaking its head. “Alright, I’ll still make a little home for you.”

He stopped dead in his tracks.

Lorenz looked back down with a frown. “You can understand me?!” He raised Sylvain to eye level peering at him. A magical creature, then. Huh. Lorenz gently tried to pet under Sylvain’s chin. “I could read to you, if you wanted. I don’t know where you came from, but I’ll keep you safe.”

He should probably try and stop Lorenz building a little home for him, he already has a room after all. On the other tail, his room is much too big, it takes much too long to cross, not to mention climbing the desk and squeezing under the door. A worm size home could be very nice indeed.

Lorenz freezes, and he blinks up at him. Of course I understand you, he squeaks, amused. It’s kinda funny though that the understanding isn’t mutual. Frustrating, yes, hard to ask for help. But, well, he could get used to Lorenz being kind to him. He’s surprisingly sweet.

Oh, ooooh chin scritches! Yes please. He lifts his head, eyes closing and basks in the attention. He wonders what kind of books Lorenz likes, and decides the String can wait, after everything, he could do with a little safety.

" midoriya called out in the best distressed voice he could. of course one could hear the soft chuckling laced in his voice. should todoroki come and investigate, he would find a leek placed in the cabinet under the sink.

❝ A leak? ❞ The urgency in Midoriya’s tone had him hurry over, Shouto immediately approaching the sink to see what was wrong. He wasn’t a plumber, he knew NOTHING about sinks, but if Midoriya wanted him to handle it then HE’D TRY HIS BEST.

Curiously enough there didn’t seem to be any water on the ground but maybe it was a very small leak? He wouldn’t know until he looked so he’d swing open the cabinet door to inspect the pipes until mismatched eyes would be caught on the sight of- not a leak but- A LEEK. 

Strange.

I’m not sure I understand your DISTRESS over a vegetable. ❞ Leek in hand, Shouto stood to turn toward his friend, confused gaze flitting between the leek and Midoriya until his eyes would go wide, PANIC settling in as Shouto immediately froze the leek in his hand to encase it in ice.

❝ Wait, were you concerned because you have some kind of DEADLY ALLERGY? Midoriya, why didn’t you say so? I was so CARELESSLY holding it right in front of you without a thought. I’M VERY SORRY! ❞ He’d never spoken so fast in his life, head ducking in a shameful bow in front of Midoriya. He never bowed for ANYONE but in this instance, when he felt he might have put his friend’s life in danger, IT WAS WELL WARRANTED. ❝ Please forgive my ignorance. ❞
