Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) – Uses, Benefits, and Side Effects
Tumblr media
Apple Cider Vinegar is a supplement that has been used for centuries for a myriad of health and beauty benefits. It’s the perfect detoxifier and ingredient to support your health and wellness goals. Apple cider vinegar is a popular remedy for everything from weight loss, to treat a headache, to keeping your teeth clean. With a blend of vitamins and minerals, apple cider vinegar has been used for thousands of years. If you're looking for a natural way to lose weight, supplement your health and lifestyle, apple cider vinegar is for you!
What are the benefits of apple cider vinegar?
Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is a natural antibacterial and antifungal that is also rich in antioxidants. ACV helps in managing weight and blood sugar issues, preventing cancer, and lowering the risk of stroke, heart disease, and arthritis.
Apple cider vinegar is a versatile and highly beneficial ingredient that can be used in a variety of ways. It is a natural health remedy that can be used as a facial toner, a natural cleaner, a salad dressing, and a hair conditioner.
Apple cider vinegar benefits and side effects
It can be used as a cleaner and a disinfectant, as well as in a variety of cooking recipes. Apple cider vinegar has many benefits, but it doesn’t just stop there. It also has health benefits that extend to many other parts of the body. In this article, we will be looking at some amazing apple cider vinegar benefits!
What are the uses of ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar)
Apple cider vinegar uses in our lifestyle:
Apple cider vinegar is one of the most popular natural remedies for weight loss and helps improve cardiovascular health & support good cholesterol.
Apple cider vinegar benefits in weight loss
Do you ever feel like getting yourself a packet of Murukku from your go-to snack brand and just hogging onto it? You promise yourself that it's just going to be about 5 murukkus to ‘freshen up and then the next thing you know is that you are holding an empty packet of Murukkus.
Regrets collect like old friends, you relive your darkest over-eating moments! Random cravings, over-eating, a poor diet, and bare minimum or rather no exercise at all are factors that could lead to explained and explained weight gain. But what can one even do?
Blame it on tasty packaged foods that make you crave them.
They are responsible for your weight gain after all, aren’t they? In case you yet haven’t realized, we’re being sarcastic, okay?
How ACV can help control Cravings
If you practice self-control, you can conquer random cravings. Yet, many people have a hard time fighting off cravings! You might have found yourself, like so many others, searching for a way to overcome your food addiction. Apple cider vinegar is the perfect answer you are looking for. One of the main reasons people tend to crave sugar and everything sweet is due to a lack of minerals in their bodies. These minerals help to balance high blood sugar levels, which can lead to cravings.
Apple cider vinegar benefits in reducing your appetite
The good news is, that apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid that reduces your appetite and subsequently reduces your calorie intake! A daily intake of apple cider vinegar can help you improve your metabolism and achieve your fitness goals. So next time you find yourself regretting after overeating and giving in to random cravings, consider including apple cider vinegar in your daily lifestyle!
Apple Cider Vinegar benefits in improving cardiovascular health
Apple cider vinegar is an extremely popular item among health enthusiasts! It is used in many recipes and can be used as a natural remedy by those tackling weight gain and who want to improve their cardiovascular health. ACV comes in a variety of types like organic, raw, unfiltered, unfiltered dark, and unfiltered light. It is taken orally and is even used topically in some cases. Apple cider vinegar can improve blood sugar levels and reduce cholesterol, and it is also a great way to get your arteries flowing again after a sugar high.
Apple cider vinegar benefits in supporting good cholesterol
Apple cider vinegar has a history of use in cardiovascular health, and the current research supports this. Researchers found that apple cider vinegar (ACV) could have a positive effect on blood sugar levels, cholesterol, and fasting blood glucose! ACV can help minimize the effect of bad cholesterol thereby lowering the potential for heart risks. It inhibits the build-up of LDL or Low-Density Lipoprotein (bad cholesterol)  while supporting HDL or High-Density Lipoprotein (good cholesterol)
Impact of Cholesterol & Triglycerides on Cardiovascular health
Triglyceride levels are the flag bearers of cardiovascular health alongside cholesterol. Higher levels indicate higher risk factors for cardiovascular diseases and other health conditions. These are derived from excess calories which are stored as fat from specific foods like butter, oils, etc. They accumulate in our bloodstream impacting cardiovascular function. Poor lifestyle habits like drinking, smoking, lack of exercise, and an unhealthy diet can lead to an increase in blood triglyceride levels. Such conditions are often prevalent amongst people who have diabetes, and thyroid disorders and are obese or overweight. This aspect can also be attributed to heredity.
Change in lifestyle can improve health
Positive lifestyle changes like a good diet, regular exercise, low sugar, fatty, and carb diet can help decrease the levels of cholesterol and triglyceride in our body. To add to these lifestyle hacks, an inclusion of apple cider vinegar (ACV) in our day-to-day routine can also add more value to the reduction of these levels. As per a small-scale study published in April 2018, results on the daily consumption of ACV by test subjects look promising. These showed that the group which consumed ACV as a part of its daily diet indicated a decrease in LDL or bad cholesterol and triglyceride levels and an increase in HDL or good cholesterol levels! The 12-week study also reported that this group had better control when it came to appetite.
ACV benefits for skin
Apple cider vinegar contains the “mother” which is a mixture of good bacteria, proteins, and beneficial enzymes which are formed as a part of the fermentation process. Often the “mother” component is filtered out during processing. It’s best to consume Apple cider vinegar supplements that retain the “mother” content.
How ACV helps cleanse the skin ACV has anti-inflammatory properties along with being anti-microbial. It is enriched with nutrients like vitamin C, vitamin B, acetic acid, and malic acid that positively impacts skin and hair!  Naturally, your skin’s pH is slightly acidic which helps in inhibiting microbial growth and keeps infections at bay. Due to hormonal imbalances, if your skin’s pH increases, it will stimulate the growth of bacteria and cause acne.ACV’s antibacterial properties help sanitize your skin. It gets absorbed into the skin readily and cleanses the skin pores clogged with impurities like oil, dust, and germs. Yes, ACV is your natural skin toner! Topical applications of ACV also span its properties as an astringent! Long exposure to the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays can damage your skin. These pierce into your skin and can generate free radicals. Sunburns can form blisters. ACV acts as an astringent and cools down your skin. Its anti-inflammatory features soothe the pain, swelling, and irritation that occurs due to sunburns.
Apple cider vinegar benefits blood sugar management
Apple cider vinegar is an age-old remedy used to treat several health conditions. It’s also a popular supplement among those who wish to improve their health. Apple cider vinegar is made by processing apple juice and vinegar and contains probiotics that promote healthy digestion. It’s also used as a weight loss aid, promotes heart health, reduces cholesterol and blood sugar levels, fights bacteria, lessens the risk of cancer, and empowers the immune system. However, it’s not advisable to take apple cider vinegar in excessive amounts as it might have adverse effects on our body’s functioning.
Apple cider benefits help in lowering blood pressure
Apple cider vinegar is commonly used for blood sugar management. Taking apple cider vinegar helps regulate blood sugar levels by lowering insulin levels- the hormone responsible for breaking down glycogen into glucose for normal cells to use as fuel. It also lowers blood pressure and reduces excess cholesterol in the body. When mixed with honey or monk fruit sweetener, apple cider vinegar becomes a healthy food choice for diabetics who wish to maintain stable blood sugar levels. Apple cider vinegar is an age-old remedy used for various health conditions; however, its effectiveness depends on how it’s used and administered by individuals seeking benefits from taking supplements rich in acetic acid such as probiotics. Taking too much apple cider vinegar can lead to stomach upset, so be sure to follow the doctor’s recommendations when using this supplement for your own wellness goals.
Use of apple cider vinegar in relieving pain
Apple cider vinegar is a common home remedy for relieving pain. Researchers found that regular daily consumption of apple cider vinegar reduces inflammation and pain in people with rheumatoid arthritis. Many people also use apple cider vinegar as a natural remedy for relieving tension headaches and sinusitis sinus headaches. The bacteria present in apple cider vinegar may also help with sinus infections as it produces beneficial probiotics.
Apple cider vinegar may also help to prevent new injuries
soft tissue healing
promoting epithelialization
increasing colloidal osmotic pressure
Use apple cider vinegar as a natural remedy for reducing pain or preventing injuries when applied according to the recommendations above. Avoid taking more than the recommended amount since this could harm your health.
Apple cider vinegar can reduce calorie intake
Apple cider vinegar is rich in acetic acid, which contributes to its slimming properties. Drinking apple cider vinegar regularly helps you lose weight. In addition, apple cider vinegar boosts metabolism and reduces body fat percentage. In other words, apple cider vinegar makes you lose weight by boosting your calorie expenditure and reducing your calorie intake.
Apple cider vinegar reduces body inflammation
Besides boosting weight loss, apple cider vinegar can also reduce body inflammation and cholesterol levels. It also promotes regular bowel movements and reduces stomach pain due to its antimicrobial properties. Apple cider vinegar also has anti-tumor properties; it can help treat tumors by inducing cell death in cancer cells. In addition, apple cider vinegar lowers blood pressure by promoting blood flow to the brain via the arteries.
Apple cider vinegar side effects
Apple cider vinegar is a popular natural remedy for a large number of health problems. It is also used to reduce body fat percentage, fight bacteria and promote weight loss. However, apple cider vinegar can have adverse effects on the body if used excessively or incorrectly. Here are some of the benefits and side effects of apple cider vinegar.
Side effects of apple cider vinegar
Some people have reported adverse effects when using apple cider vinegar for its supposed health benefits— such as dizziness and vomiting— but not for weight loss purposes. Other than that, there are no major side effects associated with drinking apple cider vinegar regularly for its purported health benefits.
Apple cider vinegar can cause dehydration
Excessive intake of apple cider vinegar can lead to dehydration and other complications due to its diuretic properties. Hence, it’s best to consult a doctor first before embarking on a regular protocol of drinking apple cider vinegar for its purported benefits. Apple cider vinegar is an age-old remedy used around the world for various health conditions such as ear infections and coughs.
No major side effects of apple cider vinegar
Despite rumors to the contrary, there are no major side effects associated with using apple cider vinegar for legitimate health purposes such as antioxidant supplements or treating metabolic disorders such as diabetes or obesity. Drinking regular doses of apple cider vinegar help suppress appetite which contributes to weight loss since it contains natural sugars that stimulate hunger pangs in the stomach.
Introducing Plix’s Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar may not be the prettiest drink, but it is one of the most powerful health supplements on the planet! There are 2 main types of apple cider vinegar available in the market which are:
Refined pasteurized & filtered ACV that removes the 'mother' from the vinegar
Unrefined, unpasteurized & filtered apple cider vinegar that retains the 'mother' from the vinegar.
Apple cider vinegar with the ‘mother’ is considered superior as it contains beneficial probiotics that are healthy for your gut.
At Plix, we have made it our mission to help you incorporate super healthy supplements most deliciously! Our version of ACV has all the goodness of apple cider vinegar discussed above AND retains the ‘mother’ of apple cider vinegar! Let us have a look at the ingredients of Plix ACV product!

1. Pomegranate extract
Apart from apple cider vinegar, Plix’s ACV is powered with pomegranate extract, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12 giving you a wholesome good health experience. Let us look at what each of these 3 ingredients has to offer Pomegranate extract is highly antioxidant-rich and protects the health of your skin. It is often used as a beauty ingredient in serums! The pomegranate extracts in Plix’s Apple Cider vinegar come from Maharashtra's western regions and are high in minerals and antioxidants. Our ACV's trademark crimson appearance and exquisite taste are due to its rich color and unique flavor. This superfood or fruit is well recognized for its several health benefits: it nourishes skin, lowers heart risks, improves digestion and other gut-related issues, reduces blood pressure, and provides a lot of energy!

Vitamin B6 plays an integral role in stimulating the production of neurotransmitters. These orchestrate the regulation of mood and other functions associated with the brain. It is an essential vitamin that not only maintains brain health but also cardiac health! Vitamin B6 not only keeps you energized throughout the day but also aids in combating skin vows and agonizing PMS. It improves your brain's general health by elevating your mood and relieving stress or depression without the use of drugs. It lowers the risk of memory loss while also treating anemia by increasing hemoglobin production.
3. Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 helps in the metabolism of food and body detoxification. Vitamin 12 supports the elimination of toxins from the body's bloodstream and the health of nerve cells, resulting in improved brain function. It prevents bone and muscle deterioration and promotes good vision, as well as healthier skin, nails, and hair. Vitamin 12 is also important for maintaining a healthy heart and alleviating signs of mood swings.

Ferment your own wine vinegars
It's easy to brew your own wine vinegars. Here's how!
It’s as easy as waiting… As I look for cheaper and more convenient ways to make herbal remedies, I am slowly shifting to vinegar extracts as opposed to tinctures. Oxymels are great too but the honey content prevents some good folks from partaking of them when they are sick. Glycerites too can be tricky for some folks, as access to good quality vegetable glycerine can be tricky too if you’re…

Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother Benefits.
Apple cider vinegar may help control blood sugar and lower cholesterol levels. It also might boost weight loss and support a healthy immune system.
Look for organic unfiltered ACV that has "mother" (a murky substance at the bottom of the bottle). It's full of proteins, enzymes and good bacteria.
Weight Management
Apple cider vinegar is the latest health trend and many people claim it can help with weight loss. However, it is important to remember that vinegar should not be viewed as a miracle cure and should only be used in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise to achieve sustainable results.
To make apple cider vinegar, apples are crushed and fermented using yeast. This process produces acetic acid, which is the main component of vinegar. During this fermentation process, a layer of bacteria is formed on top of the vinegar called the'mother'. The mother is made up of strains of bacteria and contains probiotics that are beneficial to your gut health. In order to get the most benefits from ACV, it is best to choose unfiltered organic apple cider vinegar with the mother intact.
In a small study, participants who took ACV saw reduced total cholesterol, LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglyceride levels compared to those who did not take vinegar. Moreover, ACV was also found to reduce blood pressure in rats. However, more human studies are needed to determine whether ACV can lower blood pressure in humans as well.
The low-calorie, low-carbohydrate drink can also improve digestion and alleviate acid reflux symptoms. But drinking undiluted apple cider vinegar can irritate the esophagus, so it is best to dilute it with water and avoid overdoing it.
It is also worth mentioning that regularly drinking apple cider vinegar can damage teeth enamel, so it is important to always use it with a glass of water and preferably dilute it further to help protect your teeth. Additionally, it is best not to brush your teeth straight after drinking ACV as it can lead to tooth erosion.
Gut Health
Gut health is having a bit of a buzz at the moment and consuming probiotic-rich fermented foods like apple cider vinegar is an easy way to support your digestive system. The Mother in apple cider vinegar contains healthy gut-friendly bacteria that help keep your stomach working properly while the acetic acid fights against harmful bacteria.
To make vinegar, manufacturers first expose crushed apples to yeast, which digests the sugars and turns them into alcohol. Next, they add bacteria to the mixture, which turns the alcohol into acetic acid — the primary ingredient that gives vinegar its sour flavor and tangy smell. The cloudy, spongy or stringy sediment in raw apple cider vinegar is known as the “mother” and it’s thought to contain the majority of the vinegar’s health benefits. Manufacturers typically filter out the mother to produce the clear apple cider vinegar you see in stores, but some choose to leave it in for the extra nutrients it offers.
When you purchase apple cider vinegar, look for organic, raw and unfiltered varieties with the mother intact to maximize the benefits. It’s also best to drink it diluted, as too much apple cider vinegar can damage tooth enamel and irritate the throat, says Dr. Banini.
In addition to supporting digestive health, drinking ACV can boost your immune system and aid weight loss. It can also reduce tummy aches and improve skin conditions, such as dry and flaky feet or achy hands. It’s even been used as a natural remedy to treat Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) by helping regulate periods and balancing hormones.
Immune System
Apple cider vinegar has a lot to offer the immune system. The acetic acid it contains is anti-microbial, meaning it can help kill bacteria and other germs that may be making you sick. It also helps reduce inflammation, which is another way it works to keep you healthy.
In addition, ACV has a rich vitamin profile, full of B-vitamins and plant-based antioxidants. It’s also a good source of potassium, which can help lower high blood pressure.
ACV is a folk remedy that’s been around for centuries. Hippocrates, the “Father of Medicine,” used it for coughs and to clean wounds. Apple Cider Vinegar With Mother has been shown to support the body’s natural ability to regulate blood sugar, promote weight loss, improve heart health and boost immunity.
When choosing ACV, make sure it’s unfiltered and organic, and that it has the "mother," which is made up of strands of good-for-you bacteria and yeast. This mixture, which gives the vinegar its murky appearance, is believed to be responsible for most of ACV’s health benefits.
While more research is needed, ACV has been shown to have many beneficial properties. In fact, it is considered a natural cure for just about anything! However, it’s important to check with your doctor before using apple cider vinegar. Many medications, including antibiotics, interact with ACV. Also, large doses of ACV can decrease potassium levels. This is dangerous for people with low potassium levels (hypokalemia). To be safe, talk to your doctor before taking ACV or any other supplements or medications. The best way to consume ACV is as a daily drink. A couple of teaspoons of the vinegar should be mixed with 8 ounces of water to dilute it.
Diabetes
Apple cider vinegar is a natural treatment for diabetes, a preventable chronic disease that affects how the body handles sugar (glucose) in the blood. ACV can help reduce symptoms and improve health outcomes in people with type 2 diabetes.
It may also help lower cholesterol levels, although more research is needed on this. High cholesterol can cause artery damage, resulting in heart problems.
Vinegar is made when yeast and bacteria are added to apples, which ferments the sugar into alcohol. The combination of these bacteria and yeast is known as the “mother.” ACV that contains the mother is rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. It also has antibacterial properties that may be helpful for treating infections caused by E coli and other bacteria.
One small study showed that drinking ACV reduced post-meal blood glucose in diabetic participants. This is probably due to the vinegar lowering glycemic load and boosting insulin sensitivity. Insulin is the hormone that transports sugar from the blood to the tissues to be used as fuel. Insulin resistance causes high blood sugar and diabetes.
In addition to lowering blood sugar, ACV is also believed to boost weight loss. It may work by tricking the stomach into thinking it is full, which helps suppress appetite. It may also increase satiety and decrease energy expenditure. For this reason, it is often recommended to take a teaspoon of ACV diluted in water before meals.

DREAM GIRL INTRO 2/5 How To Get Started: high maintenance routine (PT 2)
Tumblr media
hello ladies,
Hey there! Thanks for sticking around for intro 2, part 2 of my high-maintenance routine. If you missed the previous post, it's on my page for you to catch up on. I've got more routines to share, so let's dive in and make it worthwhile! And remember, you don't have to do everything take some and leave some ☺️(I am not a medical professional, so please consult a doctor for proper advice, I'll place a ''*'' for the ones to look out for)
******************************weekly********************************
wash bedding: pillows, pillowcases, sheets, and blankets; stuffed animals too (If possible, I recommend washing them with lavender-scented detergent for a calming effect.)
everything shower: Shaving, scrubbing, masks— the works. You know how it is, ladies. (btw baby oil is the best shaving oil and it's cheap too! another alternative is coconut oil)
clean makeup/hair tools: It's important to establish a regular cleaning routine to keep your skin clear and prevent hair loss.
clean water bottle(s): Girls, it's great that you're staying hydrated, but don't forget to clean your water bottles. Many people overlook this and end up drinking mold, which can make you sick over time. (TIP: bleach makes mold stronger so sanitizing your water bottles with white vinegar is better and safe and no it won't taste like vinegar)
refresh space: it's nice to do a deep clean on your space/s so really be intentional (I like to write a to-do list the night before of what I need to get done in detail so I don't forget in the morning)
*24-hour gut reset*: Giving your body a 24-hour break from food can have numerous benefits, such as regulating blood sugar, metabolizing stored fat, and reducing the risk of heart disease.
************************monthly*************************************
*chemical peel*: I began using a chemical peel last month and have aGlready started to see results. I do not get professional treatments; instead, I use The Ordinary peeling solution. (follow the instructions to a T if you use it)
Mani/Pedi: Getting your nails done is an important part of a high-maintenance routine; it enhances your femininity. ( You don't have to use color if you don't want to; you can keep them clean and filed. )
brows: pluck uneven hairs to make sure everything is neat and polished.
*clay mask*: I use a clay mask with Aztec healing clay and apple cider vinegar(w/ the mother) to detox and clarify my hair.
I hope my routines have inspired you, bringing you one step closer to your dream girl.
-XOXOXO

The Vinegar Limpia
Vinegar is a fantastic ingredient for warding against illness and evil spirits. For a long time, its antiseptic properties were used to fight off diseases. There are many types of vinegar, however I've always used apple cider vinegar as it is the one that I was taught to use.
Salt and pepper are the other 'active' ingredients for this limpia. Salt being used for its purifying and protective properties is a very old practice. In fact, it is even used in the making of holy water. It's water-absorbing properties carry over to its spiritual uses where it is used to soak up negative and unwanted energies. Pepper, on the other hand is solely for protection. It fights off the evil eye and prevents harm from coming your way. When it is paired with salt, it first cleanses you and then seals that in with dual protection.
The Ritual:
You will need: • A bowl that fits at least one of your feet • A white towel • Enough hot water to fill half of the container • 1 Cup apple cider vinegar • 1/2 Cup white salt • 1/4 Cup ground black pepper
Firstly, place the white towel so that there are two sections of towel, one on either side of the bowl. Use a full length towel so you can double the thickness of it to prevent the mixture from splashing onto the floor. Then, add the water to the container. Pray one Our Father. Then, add the vinegar and salt. Pray five Hail Marys as you stir the mixture. Next, add the black pepper. Mix it as you pray the final five Hail Marys. Once you are finished, place your feet into the mixture and pray one Glory Be. Then, wash your feet in the liquid. Allow them to soak in the solution for at least 15 minutes. Once you are finished, dry your feet off with the white towel, and pour the liquid out away from your residence. You may also flush it down the toilet, but if you do that try to avoid looking at it as it flushes. As it leaves, imagine all the negative energy that was in you leaving with it. You are now left with a cleansed and protected body, enjoy it, and stay safe out there folks!
OUR FATHER: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
HAIL MARY: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
GLORY BE: Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Digestive aid: ACV contains acetic acid, which helps break down proteins and carbohydrates, reducing symptoms of indigestion and bloating. Why: Acetic acid's pH level helps to balance the body's natural digestive processes.
Weight loss: ACV contains pectin, a soluble fiber that helps reduce appetite and increase feelings of fullness. Why: Pectin slows down the absorption of glucose and insulin, leading to weight loss.
Lower blood sugar levels: ACV contains acetic acid, which has been shown to improve insulin sensitivity and reduce glucose production in the liver. Why: Acetic acid's ability to improve insulin sensitivity helps regulate blood sugar levels.
Heart health: ACV contains polyphenols, such as quercetin and epicatechin, which have antioxidant properties that help reduce inflammation and oxidative stress. Why: Polyphenols' antioxidant properties protect against cardiovascular disease by reducing inflammation and oxidative stress.
Antimicrobial properties: ACV contains acetic acid, which has antibacterial and antifungal properties that help combat infections. Why: Acetic acid's antimicrobial properties make it effective against a wide range of microorganisms.
Anti-inflammatory: ACV contains polyphenols, such as quercetin and epicatechin, which have anti-inflammatory properties that help alleviate symptoms of conditions like arthritis and gout. Why: Polyphenols' anti-inflammatory properties reduce inflammation and alleviate symptoms.
Improved dental health: ACV contains acetic acid, which helps reduce tooth decay and gum disease by killing bacteria and acid-producing microbes in the mouth. Why: Acetic acid's antibacterial properties eliminate harmful bacteria that contribute to tooth decay.
Lower cholesterol levels: ACV contains acetic acid, which has been shown to inhibit the production of cholesterol in the liver. Why: Acetic acid's ability to inhibit cholesterol production reduces LDL cholesterol levels.
Improved gut health: ACV contains prebiotic fibers like pectin, which help promote the growth of beneficial gut bacteria. Why: Prebiotic fibers feed beneficial bacteria, supporting a healthy gut microbiome.
Antioxidant-rich: ACV contains antioxidants like quercetin and epicatechin, which help protect against oxidative stress and cell damage caused by free radicals. Why: Antioxidants neutralize free radicals, reducing oxidative stress and cell damage.
be cautious about quality/quantity vinegar consumption.
Use organic, unfiltered, unprocessed apple cider vinegar, which is cloudy, meaning it contains the “mother.”
Two teaspoons to two tablespoons is the general dosage recommendation. If you want to drink it, dilute it with water or your favorite juice or tea.
Oral: For diabetes, dilute 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar in 8 ounces of water daily. For weight loss, drink diluted dose with high carbohydrate meals.

Fairy’s Wellness Drink 🍋 🫚
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s a pity that the term “detox” has been so overused and used to market drinks and diets that are supposed to be a “magic pill” for all health and weight loss things related.
I know your body has the organs necessary to detox itself and so on. I still like this drink! I just don’t like to call it “detox” not to give the idea that it does anything particularly miraculous 🧙‍♀️
It just sets the tone of the day for me and I can tweak it in different ways (adding fresh mint or green apple slices or even cinnamon) and I simply like it!
Even though it’s an acquired taste, and the straw is pretty much mandatory because of the level of acidity to help protect your teeth enamel.
Roughly it consists of:
A tall glass (mason jar, etc) of water
1 cap of raw apple cider vinegar (I literally use the cap of the bottle to measure it out!)
1-2 limes (or half a lemon), some sliced and some juiced
A bit of fresh grated ginger (or ginger powder)
Some of the actual benefits, apart from naturally helping with hydration (because water!) and some vitamin C, the component in the ACV may help regulating blood sugar levels, plus if you use actual raw ACV with “the mother” the probiotics are good for gut health.
Let me know if you’d try it and how you’d modify it according to your taste and needs 🥤

Buy Organic Apple Cider Vinegar.
If you are looking for ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle, you should consider buying Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. This vinegar helps in controlling blood sugar levels, improves insulin sensitivity and supports weight loss while keeping you feeling better each day.
It also helps in lowering cholesterol, improving heart health and reducing high blood pressure. This is because it decreases the harmful triglyceride fats and increases good cholesterol in your body.
Apple Cider Vinegar - A Natural Home Remedy
Apple cider vinegar is a natural home remedy that can be used in various ways. It has several benefits and can help in managing a healthy lifestyle easily.
A daily dose of it helps suppress appetite, support weight loss while keeping you feeling better each day. It also promotes digestion & detoxifies your body.
Benefits
Apple Cider Vinegar is a versatile and natural home remedy that can be used in several ways. It is widely recommended to improve digestion and ward off various health ailments.
It is also known to aid in weight loss. The acid in the vinegar slows down the rate of stomach emptying and makes one feel full quickly, which in turn helps in curbing the appetite. It is an excellent solution for those looking to lose weight in the most natural way possible.
Another benefit of apple cider vinegar is that it helps maintain blood sugar levels in people with diabetes or insulin resistance. This is because it can help carry the nutrients to the blood cells, which in turn reduces the risk of developing diabetes.
This nutrient-rich substance is also beneficial for those who wish to control their cholesterol and triglyceride levels, reducing the risk of heart disease. In addition, it has anti-microbial properties that help fight infections, such as those caused by E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria.
Adding this natural nutrient to your diet is easy and convenient as it can be easily found at any health store. Whether you want to use it as a dressing, or in your cooking, it is highly recommended that you take a small amount of this natural liquid daily.
However, it is important to note that apple cider vinegar can cause side effects if taken in large amounts. For this reason, it is best to start with a smaller dose and gradually work up to the recommended dosage.
There are a variety of brands that sell apple cider vinegar. Some brands are cheaper, but it is recommended that you try to find a brand that offers a natural, unfiltered product. It is also preferable to look for a product that does not contain any artificial flavour or colour.
If you are looking for a high-quality apple cider vinegar that is guaranteed to provide you with all the benefits it is known to, then look no further than Neuherbs. This product is filtered using raw fermented apple juice and does not have any preservatives or artificial colours or flavors.
Uses
Apple cider vinegar has been used for centuries as a natural home remedy to treat skin and hair problems. It's known to soothe sunburns, bee stings, insect bites, athlete's foot, dandruff and acne; soften dry skin, strengthen nails and restore luster and shine to dull hair.
It's also a natural disinfectant, making it ideal for cleaning cuts, scrapes and burns. It can be diluted with water and applied to affected areas of the body. It can also be mixed with chamomile, lemon or honey tea to make a soothing drink.
There are two types of apple cider vinegar: the clear, pasteurized variety that you see in the grocery store and the unfiltered type with a cloudy sediment called "the mother." Both contain acetic acid, which gives them their sour flavor.
Some people believe that consuming raw apple cider vinegar can help reduce blood sugar levels and improve weight loss. However, it is important to note that the raw, unfiltered variety contains acids that can irritate your stomach and esophagus. It's best to dilute it with water before drinking it.
Another way to use it is to add it to a salad dressing. It enhances the taste of your dish and offers numerous health benefits. It can also be added to a glass of water in the morning to boost energy and support digestion.
It is also known to help alleviate symptoms of the common cold and flu. A daily dose of it can help prevent infection and encourage healthy bacteria growth in the body. It can also be used as a natural food preservative and antibacterial spray.
Lastly, it can be used as an all-purpose cleaner to get rid of stains and bacteria on your surfaces. It can be diluted with water and used as an all-purpose spray for cleaning hard-to-reach places in your home or office.
Unlike the filtered, pasteurized kind, the unfiltered variety still has small traces of a substance that is called "the mother." This is made up of settled bacteria and yeast. The bacteria break down the alcohol to acetic acid, which is what gives vinegar its sour flavor and odor.
Ingredients
Organic Apple Cider Vinegar is made from fermenting organic apples to produce a healthy, natural acetic acid-based liquid. It is a versatile, high-nutrient ingredient used in various foods, drinks and cosmetics.
It is rich in vitamins and minerals that support the body’s health, energy levels and immune system. It has an anti-inflammatory effect and helps ease gastrointestinal problems like bloating, heartburn and diarrhea. It can be consumed as a beverage, mixed with water to make a salad dressing or added to a marinade.
The vinegar’s acetic acid can reduce cholesterol levels in the blood. It can also help lower blood sugar levels and improve the body’s ability to digest food properly. It is also a natural disinfectant that can help fight germs and viruses. It is an excellent chelator that can remove harmful metals from the body.
There are a few key points to keep in mind when using apple cider vinegar: 1. Use it diluted with water and do not overdo it. If you consume it undiluted, you might experience a burning sensation or other side effects.
2. Avoid consuming raw vinegar, as it is too acidic and could cause stomach pains and nausea. Instead, try filtered apple cider vinegar (ACV) or organic apple cider vinegar with the “mother,” which is a mass of bacteria that forms during fermentation.
3. Choose a good quality product. Ensure that the bottle is not cloudy or that it does not contain any artificial colors, preservatives or flavors.
4. Buy from a reputable company that is certified to be free of chemicals and pesticides.
A reputable brand is important because it will be sure that the vinegar has been made with all-natural ingredients and no chemicals are used in the process. It is also important that the vinegar does not have any additives or other ingredients added to it, such as sugar or caramel coloring.
5. Take the recommended dosage - Consume two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar daily with water or as a salad dressing. It will boost your energy levels and promote weight loss.
Storage
Aside from being a staple in every kitchen, apple cider vinegar has several health benefits. Its antimicrobial properties and antioxidant actions help fight off infections, reduce cholesterol levels, and control blood sugar spikes. It also has a sedative effect that helps promote feelings of fullness, which can lead to a natural reduction in calorie intake.
Organic apple cider vinegar can be filtered or unfiltered, depending on its manufacturing process. Filtered varieties are made from apple juice and water that has been through a filtering process to remove the vinegar “mother” (the culture of yeast and bacteria) and any sediment. The resulting product is a clear, amber-colored vinegar that is pasteurized and refined.
Many people wonder whether a bottle of apple cider vinegar will go bad and whether it should be refrigerated after opening. The answer is yes, but it is best to keep it in a cool, dark place to preserve its quality.
According to a 2017 study, the fermentation process in apple cider vinegar creates an environment that protects it against harmful bacteria. This means that it can be used far past its expiration date, assuming you store it properly.
However, if you want to use the vinegar for pickling or preserving projects, it is best to use fresh cider vinegar. This will not only preserve the flavor but also the vinegar’s potency and nutritive value.
If you do decide to refrigerate your apple cider vinegar, it is important to choose a quality bottle with a tight seal. This will prevent the oxygen from getting to the vinegar and damaging its quality.
It is also best to avoid storing your apple cider vinegar in plastic bottles. These can leak and affect the taste of your vinegar, which is why glass bottles are a better choice.
If you are looking for an affordable, high-quality apple cider vinegar, you may want to try Neuherbs Organic Apple Cider Vinegar filtered using raw fermented apple juice. This natural product is crafted from the finest best of organically grown Himalayan apples that have been clearly fermented and contains no preservatives or colors. It is loaded with reaping rewards vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and enzymes. 👄🌹💎🛀HYGIENE TIPS! 🛀💎🌹👄
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hello everyone!
When I was a teenager I struggled a lot with body odor, didn't take care of my personal hygiene much because my mother never taught me these type of things, she always told me it was because of the hormones and never helped me by buying products or teaching me how to take care.
There's nothing to be ashamed of, it's never too late to take care of yourself and everyone has to learn. Some people don't have sisters, present mothers or anyone that teaches them.
Apple Cider Vinegar: if you struggle with body odor, apply some acv with a cotton on the parts you sweat most before you shower. Also you can use acv for your 🐱 BUT DON'T APPLY IT DIRECTLY, pour 1/2 glass of acv into your bath.
Towels: use a different tower for your hands, body and 🐱. After using them, let them air dry and wash them twice a week. I prefer to clean my downpart with water and a towel (only use soap after s*x and when I'm on my period). Make sure to dry it well to avoid infections and fungus.
Oil pulling, tongue scraper and floss: literally changed my life ⭐⭐⭐⭐. Rinse your mouth with coconut oil for 10-15 minutes, it's one of the first things I do when I wake up but you can also do it at night. Tongue scraper everytime I wash my teeth, be gentle! Little pressure is enough. Remember to floss everyday.
Double cleanse: double cleanse your face and body.
Wash your back after conditioning: the rests of conditioner may cause back acne.
Dry exfoliating: exfoliate your skin with a shower glove before you shower.
Try to use unscented soaps or shower gels: products with perfumes tend unbalance your ph. So be careful with the products you choose, I personally recommend the Pure Castille soap as shower gel or the Dove bar soap.
Scents I do not recommend for deodorants: coconut, lemon and rose. I think that the sweat mixed with those scents make the smell worse.
Always carry baby wipes.
Antiperspirant deodorant. I recommend the Vichy antiperspirant deodorant, fun fact: the men's collection is actually better. But wash it off before you go to sleep, so your pores don't spend too much time clogged.
Any other advice is welcomed!
BE SAFE EVERYONE!!!
