BETTER CALL SAUL!

#this was mostly a test run on procreate dream!#its pretty good but it has a LOT of room for improvement #which i know the developers have been working on since the app is still technically in beta!#but hey i did this in like 3 weeks while working a full time job and also working on other art so #its pretty damn powerful software #good shit if you use procreate already!!#literally the biggest flaws rn are a lack of selection tool an undo/redo button and #and the app itself has a tendency to crash or slow down if theres “too much” going on #like i had to delete all but one of the preloaded animations just so the app would run smoother while i worked #so its still very clearly in its early phase but its good and im excited to see what the developers will do with it #ok review over #better call saul #saul goodman #bcs #jimmy mcgill #breaking bad #animation #brba #video #procreate dreams

letterboxd app apparently has added video ads bc i tried to view my activity and got hit with a 15 second unskippable ad... and deleted the entire app within 10 seconds of encountering this...

#no we are not playing this game lol.#i have even been considering getting a subscription to the site for a while now that i have a job and at least some extra income #but um. I'm not going to do it now bc i can't let them think this was a good move to make people buy adfree.#avpost #like i tolerated the banner ads but i draw the line at being unable to open any page in the app without sitting through a 15 second video.#i was like *tries to click someones review of a movie but gets stopped by a video ad for plex* huh that's weird i must have misclicked smth #*restarts app and clicks activity tab and gets stopped by the same ad* ah. well we arent doing this shit *uninstalls immediately*#i mean before the app for years i used lbxd exclusively in my firefox browser so its only a mild inconvenience to go back to that 🤷#im more worried about this as a bad sign from management of a website that i like. like is it about to get so much worse?#i love it im so happy to be on the internet in this. the corporate slop era. the inescapable advertising era.#i love that you can't watch youtube without 2 minute ad breaks anymore i love that every site has embedded video ads that stop your music.#i love that no matter what it is they're going to break it with ads and then sell you back an ad free version after they ruined it

Library had no hiring manager (not surprised, didn't expect them too) but when I said I would like to talk to someone about an application I sent in I was met with "yeah ummm no there's no one to talk too..... The application is online" so I don't know if I should try again another day or just wait like the person who answered the phone said too

#and of course the whole “praise jah” thing is ironic in my case dndndjdjdnd #I never wake up this early unless I’ve got something to do #I got an app that gives you points for walking that can be converted to Amazon gift cards; so I might take a walk #Amazon gift cards are 2000 points and you can earn maximum 100 points a day from walking; so I’ll get $5.00 every 20 days #if I walk 10000 steps a day #👍#This will get me active #Don’t worry I checked the reviews; I’m not falling for anything bad lol #And when I go back to work this fall I have a very active job so that’ll be no problem for me #I have my eye on a wobble stool for when I move into my own apartment #The rest of the furniture I’ll get from like… garage sales #But yeah. This business was founded and run by Donald Duck, who’s been itching to get back out in the sea ever since he got here (it’s weird not being in a houseboat ok) Welcome aboard the Miss Daisy!

Here’s just a quick Index of the pages:

About the Ship: This is where you’ll find information about the vessel but also about what services we offer!

Crew Positions: Provides information on what positions we are looking to fill, and descriptions of those positions.

Application Form: I mean, it’s the form to fill out when applying. To apply just submit a post to the submission box and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

FAQ: If you have any questions feel free to send them our way. We will likely put them up here (anon ofc) just in case others have a similar one.

Anyways! As far as the ship is concerned, I’m happy to have it be a setting for people to have threads in (either by themselves or with Donald) and anyone is welcome to apply for a position!

It’s meant to be pretty lowkey and I’ve not stated prices anywhere cause... well, I kind of couldn’t be bothered? If it comes up a lot I will add prices, but fn I just want a math free ship lol The hours are from 5am - 10pm

You can request mini threads with others or with Donald through the submission box, or send in a review for fun and we’ll post it ^^ also if you do thread on the ship, I’d appreciate it if you could put the Ducks Ahoy tag on it.

That’s basically all I’ve got! I’ve been working on this side project for a while, nd it’ll be nice to get Donald back on the open sea. Thanks everyone!

This one was part of my February nostalgia kick: I read a ton of books I had loved as a kid while I was snowed in on my college tour trip to New York. Huge fan of Roald Dahl, and Fantastic Mr. Fox still holds a very special spot in my heart since it's one of my dad's favorites he shared with me when I was younger.

It's so ridiculous that I have to run around like a rat in a rat maze to simply change my availability to prevent myself from working anymore from evening to morning shift back to back. It's especially draining the ever-loving youth from me. No wonder people are saying Gen Z is aging like spilled milk. We're being forced to work these long ass shifts to simply put food on the table and prevent ourselves from being one paycheck away from homelessness. Which I find to be so fucking frustrating and disgusting this is the state of my society. Especially when you complain about it, everyone is quick to classify you as an ungrateful young person who doesn't know true hardship like our elders from the past generations. In addition, your workplace will hate you for wanting better for yourself and basically will target you and belittle you constantly so you eventually just quit and go back to square one.
