Best option? By coming clean. Yes, I actually think that telling the truth would be the best choice. If we take into account that Louis may have access to the best pr minds/lawyers, it would be so easy to construct a whole narrative where people could sympathize with Louis and genuinely feel empathy for him - something lthq has been trying to achieve by painting him out to be an underdog but it never really worked with the gp.

At the same time, I don't even think that they would have to worry about gp that much. They don't really know him, Lottie is more present in the british media than him, and he always had to mainly rely on his fandom anyway. That's why I think that he would come out of it pretty unscathed and could gain a lot if they decided to take the risk because:

1. Most of his fanbase doesn't believe he is a father anyway.

2. The people who believe he is, are also scared of him and would do anything he says so they'd probably just pity him for a bit and then go harder for him.

3. As this promo campaign showed, Louis' power lays solely in the fans so it's not like he would take a huge hit to his numbers AND I actually think that it would make them go up, as I'm sure many people would come back to the fandom.

4. The pat test way out wouldn't work people until he says the truth anyway, he would still be expected to be in that kid's life.

He has a huge background of him being a genuinely good person that they could fall onto. Obviously, coming clean about that would probably mean larry outing as well but you know my opinion about that - I think that they could milk it even more than they do now with all those fake relationships anyway and people love iconic love stories that theirs definitely is. But again, all of it would include hl taking this risk and actually wanting to change something about their situations. If not - they are gonna spend years at their big age making a circus out of their lives for what? A few more millions? Ever since Harry said that thing about wasted time it rings in my head all the time, because yeah, they are wasting time when in my most honest opinion there is no need for that. I fear they may look back at this period of their lives and regret it and I don't want that for them but again - this is not my choice to make and they'd have to take the first step. Or we end up in a situation where they fly a kid out for a few pics and put themselves through probably a mentally draining ordeal for nothing.
