note; i don't really know anything about competitions for someone's attention? buuut i tried! gn! reader, romantic.

The Colors had grown to trust and understand each other a lot more after their adventure, so they didn't argue or fight often. That didn't mean they didn't enjoy annoying the others.

For example, Red would often run to you while you were checking on something with Blue. The more temperamental blond had asked you to accompany him, although he didn't outright say that he wanted to spend more time with you.

The excited blond grabbed your arm, not too hard but it still was a firm grip. "Come with me, I found something you'll like a lot!" That certainly got your attention, as he was right most of the time and whatever he wanted to show you was amazing.

Blue huffed behind you, playfully glaring at the other hero as Red grinned at him. In the end, you went with Red, but only after making sure that Blue wasn't mad about it. The blue-clothed blond knew that you wouldn't be able to spend more time alone at that moment anyway.

That wasn't the only occasion.

There would be times when you'd be reading beside Vio, talking from time to time to comment on the books, and one of the others would appear to either join or try to get you to go with them somewhere else.

The four of them wanted to get your attention, and they competed for it, but there were certain boundaries. Like, for example, not trying to force you to go with them if you didn't want to, or not interrupting it was a serious moment. Plus, they would agree on certain days or hours when one of them could be alone with you.

Speaking of more situations like these, you could remember how Vio had made a trap to stop Green from getting to you. The typical trap with a rope that would wrap around the other's leg and let him hanging upside-down.

Green got his revenge by hiding one of Vio's favorite books and then distracting you so you wouldn't go help him find it, then Blue decided to get revenge for Vio by pranking the other blond, and Red wanted to join because, why not?

Not hearing one of the others yelling for the blond who would be spending time with you at the moment after he had pranked them would be a surprise.

There were times when the four of them would spend time with you, maybe arguing a bit because they wanted your attention, but nothing much.

They were pretty chill about it, there was no point in actually fighting for your attention. Plus, it could be pretty fun to compete like this.
