Our project manager has this system that’s just basically employee of the month but every week. So we have this big program wide call every week where everyone gives their updates to the whole team and then at the end of it she announces Winner of the Week (WOW) and then like a month into the project she started doing Winner of Added Help (WOAH) as well. And I kinda interpret WOAH as being the runner up for the employee of the week thing but idk it’s never been introduced as such. Anyway this week I got the WOAH but my buddy Roopesh got the WOW so I was like omg congrats Roopesh you’re amazing i’m glad people recognize all the hard work you do. And I mean it very sincerely but as soon as I sent him that message I was like well he’s just gonna say the same shit about for getting second place so it’s like I was fishing for it but I genuinely from the bottom of my heart was like no i’m happy for my bro
