Planning a Future With You

This didn't do very well on the poll I posted a while back but this is my blog and I do what I want. Also introducing Niji for the first time on this blog

Content/Warnings: Crocodile, Niji and Law headcanons, GN!Reader, talk of marriage and children (both positive and negative), both canon-compliant and "de-programmed" Niji mentioned

Crocodile has always been a future plans kind of guy

He likes to plan ahead, and know what his next steps are, at all times

When you begin to date, he doesn't factor you in initially, assuming your relationship won't last more than six months

And then it does

He begins to factor you into his plans slowly, over time, until eventually you're irreversibly woven into everything

He tells you none of this of course

But in his mind, his future would be wrong without you

He wants to marry you, eventually, with a grand ceremony, all of the bells and whistles included

Nothing but the best for you

Neither of you have actually asked the other about these sorts of things, but it will happen when you're both ready

Already, Crocodile knows what sort of ring he wants to propose with, and how he wants to propose

Crocodile hasn't thought of children

He had a rough childhood, and he's not the most pleasant man and he knows it

It's hard to raise a child, and whether he's cut out for that is pretty up in the air

He'd consider it, if that was something you wanted

Maybe you could adopt an older child, he thinks that would be more his speed if anything

Niji thinks marriage is a given between you

He's a prince, getting married is a non-negotiable, and he likes you more than most. You're not as irritating as a lot of people he'd considered pursuing in the past

And someone has to continue the Germa bloodline, who better than him?

If you were to date a de-programmed Niji though, things would be different

Kids, for him, would be an absolute no

Even with how much his personality has changed, he still finds kids super grating and he couldn't raise a "snot nosed brat"

If you disagreed on this, it'd be a pretty big issue, it isn't a topic up for discussion

Double income no kids lifestyle for Niji

He's not super sold on weddings either, but that's something he's more willing to discuss

Niji wouldn't want something incredibly extravagant, rather he'd prefer a more intimate ceremony

He doesn't actually want to be a perfect Prince of Germa and having a large elaborate wedding would remind him of that

A smaller ceremony, with his siblings, your family if you want them there, and all your friends is more suited to him

Though he'd absolutely brag about being married to you after the fact if you did get married

Because you're the best thing that's ever happened to him

For Law, pretty much everything is up for discussion

He's far more hesitant about kids than marriage

He's still not convinced the two of you are in it for the long haul - how could you want to be with him for that long?

If you were to get married, he'd absolutely leave all the planning and decisions to you. Tell him when you need him to have an opinion, and when to be there

He'd still get a little teary at the sight of you in your getup, no matter how neutral he is on the entire thing

For him, kids is hard

He had good parents as a young boy, and the thought of providing that is nice, warms his little cold heart

But he's also intimately familiar with how cruel the world can be, and he isn't sure he likes the thought of bringing a child into it

But some children are already in that world, and alone

All that to say, he's unsure, and very unfecided

For him, it would heavily depend on what you wanted, and there would be a lot of lengthy discussions to be had on the topic

Adding a angst hc for your ASL x S au here!!

Okay so, I have a headcanon that Sanji has a fucking lot of scars. And okay, the ones on his hands it's obvious he would have since he is a chef. But he has scars in all his body, arms, legs, chest, hips, back (where he has a big burn from when niji electrocuted him).

And then on his eye. The eye he always hides. It's a scar but he also don't see anything with this eye.

He nevers shows this to anyone, until the "accident" happens and Dragon brings Sabo back to his brothers and boyfriend. Sabo now having a burn.

Then, Sanji starts to take care of the wound like someone who had been throught something like that. ASL are confused and ask him, to which Sanji replys showing the blind eye.

(I believe this would turn out with Sanji telling about his childhood to his boyfriends)

Wait, wait. Oh my god. So instead of showing his right eye for Pre TS he just always shows his left? Just hides it? Makes it even worse if it's the ASL where Sanji was found on the beach in the mask(it's not, unless?) Jeeessuuss. Okay. Also yeah he has so many fucking scars, look at his family, I even wrote Mihawk to be pissed about it. Also they're like teenagers in this.

Sanji hides his right eye, asks the brothers not to look at it if he's sleeping or whatever. He doesn't like broadcasting it but they can all see the wisps of scar tissue around the eye. They don't know how bad it is, waiting for Sanji to show them. But they see the other scars, his body is littered with them, more so than them and they live in a jungle and he lives in a floating restaurant. Zeff has always been rather protective of Sanji for some reason and the scars a probably part of why. Then Sabo dies.

They're mourning and mourning when Dragon brings Sabo to the Baratie all fucked up with burns and damage and Zeff is calling Garp to bring the other two so they can help with Sabo. When they show up Dragon and Zeff are watching the other blond teen care expertly for the injured one's eye. It's a few days later when they're in the tree house, Zeff having kicked Sanji off with all the medical supplies he requested, that Sabo asked how he knows how to take care of this. Sanji lifts the fringe without vocalizing an answer because his eye is answer enough. His iris is torn and the pupil is greyed out, the eyelid is slow moving when he blinks and he doesn't have eyelashes because it's mostly scar tissue. The immediate curses from around him make Sanji shrug as Ace grabs his shoulders and demands to know who did this to him. Sanji says it doesn't matter but they're disagreeing with that. Luffy is shaking with anger and demands to know who, they'll find out eventually. Sanji sighs and says his sperm donor did it to him and explains some of the other bigger scars, the electric burn from Niji on his back, the weird scars on his legs from Yonji's chains.

Eventually after a while they're all curled up with the blonds between them, both of them sleeping because Sabo needs all the rest he can get with his memories still coming back. Ace and Luffy have vowed revenge on the Sanji's birth family when they meet them. They will one day, that's for certain.

when i say he’s naturally a loud person i mean it. of course, he still has your best interests at heart during his more chaotic moments. given his somewhat intimidating exterior, it was a little surprising to learn that he was a hero after all. if anything, he’s the anti-hero the group needs to ensure some unruly people are put in their place with his deep and intimidating voice. yet behind closed doors, he’s such a sweetheart! always sharing his food with you and gladly sitting down with you just to chat on the longer work days. being a hero isn’t just beating up bad guys after all! there’s also a decent amount of celebrity work that goes into it, so please allow him to take time out of his schedule to love and pay attention to you, because nothing could make him happier.

AKAGI WEN ->

unlike ittetsu, he doesn’t wait until he’s behind closed doors to be a total sweetheart to his beloved partner. he’s always cooking meals for you, and he’ll be absolutely over the moon if you offer to help. if you’re okay with your relationship with this cheery hero, he will talk about you constantly in interviews and such! wen just wants the whole world to know he loves you to the moon and back! ultimately, he wouldn’t trade his relationship with you for the whole world. he’ll come home to you late at night sometimes with a plushie and a dessert for you as a sort of apology for possibly worrying you, seeing as he was out so late. absolute and total soft little sweetheart boyfriend who just wants to make you happy so please reassure him sometimes and do something for him in return!

USAMI RITO ->

this foodie hero’s love language is absolutely sharing his snacks with you. seeing as he often treats food as if it’s the only thing in the world that matters, it’s a real honor that he’s willing to share with you! he’s a bit of the chaotic dad of the group, so if you date him, you’d likely end up taking on a caretaker role to the other heroes too. he’s very cheesy with his shows of affection, it’s his way of saying he doesn’t care what others think and that even if he’s technically a public figure, you’re the only one he wants in the whole world. his ideal date would likely be bringing your favorite snacks home with him and watching movies while he cuddles with you! like the others, he’s a total softie even if his job as a hero doesn’t necessarily favor that due to questionable moral situations he may be put in. he’s not as upfront about his relationship with you, but he mentions it offhandedly every once in a while to remind people that he loves you oh so much.

HIBACHI MANA ->

your relationship with him most definitely started as friends and slowly evolved into something more, mostly without either of you noticing. most definitely a friends to lovers situation, because he had been your best friend since childhood. this hero has always been a very sweet and kind person, but especially towards you. his love for you most definitely would stand the rest of time as he continued his hero work. despite stress and injury, you were always there for him no matter what. it really made mana have a new appreciation for your relationship when you would drop everything to comfort him. he knows his job isn’t the most favorable for romantic relationships, but the fact that you stay with him despite that just makes his heart flutter when he thinks about it.

HOSHIRUBE SHOU ->

seeing as he’s much more of a quiet type, it was surprising he even allowed his feelings for you to be heard in the first place. especially considering how shy and quiet he is, having someone he loves as much as you is a blessing. he knows he's not the best with expressing affection verbally, but he makes up for it by always holding your hand or hugging or kissing you. in a way, it's easier to express than saying he loves you. of course, that doesn't mean shou doesn't love you with all his heart. the first time he audibly says the words "i love you", his face is covered in blush. he hides it behind his purple and blue hair, voice shaking slightly out of nervousness. he still blushes when you take the initiative and kiss him first, even if you’ve kissed hundreds of times. showing affection in public makes him very flustered, but he still holds your hand in front of other people just to show everyone that he loves you!

MURAKUMO KAGETSU ->

simply put, you’re everything to this ninja hero. he’s much more private about his relationship so many people wouldn’t even know he had a significant other aside from his closest friends. he reassures you constantly that he isn’t ashamed or anything of the like, just that it might cause danger for you due to the relatively risky nature of his work as a hero. ultimately, it’s just to keep you safe. as soon as he’s certain of your safety, he’ll be parading you about and talking about you every single chance he gets just to show the world how much he adores you. there’s a picture of you and him together in his phone case as a sort of motivator when his hero work has him down, cuz if nothing else, he has you to come home to every day. he has you to hug and kiss and pour all his love into at the end of every day. coming through the door to your shared home and seeing you is his absolute favorite thing in the world. especially if kagetsu is home especially late and sees you sleeping on the couch waiting for him, his heart just melts on the spot.

KOYANAGI ROU ->

most definitely a more condescending type who teases you over the smallest things sometimes. he can’t help it, it’s just his love language! rou isn’t really the best with being super affectionate, so please understand that him teasing you is how he shows he loves you. of course, he occasionally shows more traditional signs of love and affection such as buying you gifts or cuddling with you, but he just isn’t that affectionate of a person. please don’t let it get you down or make it think he doesn’t love you, because he really warms up to the idea of being affectionate after dating you for a while. behind closed doors at least, he’ll be wrapped around you all day and night commenting on how cute you are and how he just loves you so so much! he would never let his friends or fellow heroes see him in such a state though, they would never let him hear the end of it and he’s the one who teases other people, not the other way around! once in a blue moon, his friends will see him kiss your cheek or forehead though, and just as expected, he will never hear the end of it.

INAMI RAI ->

the mechanic prefers just having you by his side as he works on his newest invention or tinkers with his fellow hero’s gear to hopefully improve it. just sitting and chatting with you while he tinkers with things is his favorite pastime because he gets to mess with mechanical things and talk to his beloved!! he has a bunch of pictures of you at his work station as well as in his phone case just like kagetsu! his fellow heroes end up getting pretty annoyed with the way rai won’t shut up about you, but he thinks of you so highly that he could barely even convey how much he loves you in words. doesn’t mean he doesn’t try tho, cuz he does…he talks for hours just about how much he loves you. at first, he was scared to ask you out and rou had to put him up to it. both of them were absolutely taken aback when you actually agreed to go out with rai, and ESPECIALLY when you started seeing him regularly and made your relationship official.

Luca is the type to be completely oblivious to any flirting directed towards him so he most of the time won't notice.

If he does notice he will respond with a 'pog' and he won't show any sort of reaction.

Unless you sit him down face to face and hit him up with the flirting he will be stunned for a second processing what you just said his face will turn bright red.

He'll be pretty flustered especially since it's his s/o his only respond is a soft 'pog' as he buries his head into Mc's neck.

After a while of being with mc he'll get used to the flirty comments and affection mc gives him but it never fails to bring a shy smile to his face and to make his cheeks a soft red as he chuckles in embarrassment.

He gets so used to it, he might flirt with mc back without realizing hitting them with a 'you too!', which works in most situations.

Mc would to need to find new tricks to make him flustered, like teasing him on stream, pinching his cheeks surprisingly gets him a little shy.

Luca is the type to pout and wait for you to flirt with him when you stop suddenly, or when you'd argue about something, he would just sit there and wait for you to fawn over him with a pout on his lips.

When he does get attention, his face lights up and he wraps his arms around Mc's waist, enjoying their attention with a big grin on his face.

Might test out some pick-up lines he found online and would say them to mc and wait for their response, mc responds most of the time with a laugh or a chuckle than mc tells him a better pick-up line and will kiss his entire face, his cheeks would turn red a huge smile on his face as he chuckles at the small kisses allover his face.

Just compliment and love this man, he loves everything you do anyways.

Shu is rather shy when it comes to flirting not knowing how to react, his face turning red slowly as he looks down and covers his face with his hands.

Would appreciate a warning but it doesn't change anything really so he stops expecting one in the first place.

He's just so shy about it at the begining of the relationship, than slowly gets used to it and warms up to the idea.

Might drop a few pick-up lines here and there but would get super embarrassed after, would definitely ask for cringe pick-up lines from mc to use randomly on twitter or just say them in his streams.

When shu comes up to mc saying he's the 'master rizzler', mc is very confused but supports shu anyways.

They'll help him with pick-up lines, how to deliver them, silly things like that until shu comes up to them one day and just says "I've reached my goal as the master rizzler thank you for your sacrifice".

Mc is still confused but smiles and gives shu a kiss on the cheek anyways than goes back to what they were doing.

Even after a while in the relationship shu is still pretty shy about it, he'll just laugh with the most red cheeks you've ever seen.

They grow even darker in color as mc just coos at him and brings him into their arms for a gentle hug.

He'll just mumble against their shoulder incoherently, mc doesn't have the heart to tell him they don't understand what he's saying, so they'll kiss his head gently over and over again until he calms down.

Ike is the best flirt avoider in this entire world, so when he gets another vox flirting with him left and right he just avoids it like normal.

Except his feelings for mc start to grow so their comments start to affect him just slightly, he still moves on from them not even acknowledging them but you'll see how his cheeks turn slightly pink showing he actually got affected by the comment.

When he and mc get together his reactions grow slightly, except of ignoring their flirting he'll smile gently at mc his cheeks slightly red as he looks at them, then back at whatever he was doing.

At one point something mc said made him so shy he just buried his head into Mc's shoulder with a whine.

Mc don't embarrass him please, he's just so shy about it.

As time goes on he gets used to them and his reactions goes back to normal completely ignoring the flirting except this time he'll have a small smile on his face.

Finds it very endearing and might get the confidence to flirt back with mc if he's drunk.

When he's drunk he finds the comments super cute and would go out of his way to say so to mc everytime.

He will then process to compliment mc and flirt with them for about half an hour.

Teach him pick-up lines and he will be even better than you at flirting it's the best thing ever.

Mysta will play it off awkwardly at first face glowing bright red as he laughs awkwardly "you don't mean that" he would say with an awkward laugh.

His face will turn a deeper shade of red when you tell him you mean it with a straight face.

Will mumble a soft thank you rubbing the back of his head and just sitting there than will mumble a weak "you're awesome too".

As he slowly gets to know mc and gets together with them he'll start to get more comfortable with the flirting and will smile shyly at it now, might even pitch in with a few pick-up lines himself.

After he and mc get together he'll grow more comfortable with it, and will start to flirt with mc on a daily basis learning their tricks and using it against them.

Mysta pulls an uno reverse and starts making mc embarrassed by his flirting, then they both will just giggle like highschool girls and just bask in each other's company.

Mc will definitely try to flirt more with mysta and to make him embarrassed knowing that physical touch is more likely to make him shy.

Just hug him out of no where or kiss his cheeks and face, he'll be putty in your hands.

As time goes on flirting will be the norm in their relationship, they could be just chilling on the couch cuddling and they'll start flirting with each other like they just met in the club.

Mysta finds it very endearing as their bond grows stronger as flirting starts to turn into their very own love language.

When vox first meets mc the first thing they both do is flirt with each other.

It's basically like a second language to them at this point from the amount of time they spend speaking it to each other.

Even before they get together they would flirt with each other all the time, which might annoy some people since it looks kinda cringe when you look at it from afar.

When vox and mc get together their flirting grows stronger, and they don't even take it seriously most of the time giggling after flirting with each other.

Both mc and vox find it a cute personality trait in each other and will tell each other how much they love it.

As they both get closer the flirting wouldn't stop, just growing more chill and turning into more compliments then flirting really.

They just love everything about each other and a day doesn't pass unless both of them tell each other how much they love and care about each other.

Mc and vox are a very affectionate and lovey dovey couple and they never deny it and just tell people about it all the time.

If they argue about something they will both sit on different sides of the room glancing at each other every once in a while with a pout on their face.

It will end up with both of them apologizing, and then cuddling and complementing each other to absolutely no end for the next day or two.

They love each other very much and they'll never grow tired of it or try to hide it.

GERMA 66 AND CYBORG 009

(this rant is so messy i started talking about humanity and sanji 😭)

okay so one person on tumblr (sangerie) briefly talked about germa 66 and the inspiration from cyborg 009, an older work that oda probabaly read growing up. today i dive into the depths of insanity and read all of cyborg 009’s ORIGINAL RUN (i do not recommend this) in order to find some possible inspiration that oda used for germa 66.

However i’ll probably only read 10 chapters at a time and then analyze some things.

Okay, so Cyborg 009 starts out with the organization black ghost kidnapping 9 people from all over and turning them into cyborgs. I’d like to mention the main villain/leader of this organization has a skull motif-

(and a cool cape)

and this COULD possibly be inspiration for the base design of the raid suits-

i may be reaching but the skull motif present in the belt of the suits and the cape might possibly tie back to the Black ghost organization’s leader???

moving on though, we get to the part of the story where people start getting abducted by the black ghost organization to become cyborgs. the first is 001, but i’d like to bring up 002. 002 goes on to have super speed, but id also like to bring up the hairstyle.

I MIGHT BE REACHING BUT-

The hairstyle MIGHT have inspired niji’s. also his personality is sort of similar to niji’s from what i’ve seen of the 2001 anime. ( which was the first 4 episodes 💀)

After several other kidnappings, we meet who is going to be cyborg 003, who’s kidnapped right in front of her brother who travels to try and find her. i’d also like to bring up the hairstyle for this one as well.

this one’s a BIT more obvious, but this hairstyle might have inspired reiju’s- we’ll probably never know if these were intended design choices, but let’s move on again.

In this next chapter, We get introduced to the powers of the first 8 cyborgs-

001 has an electronic brain

002 can fly to speeds up to mach 5

003 has heightened sensory acuity

004 has his whole body turned into a weapon

005 had armor grafted onto his skin which enhanced his strength

006 can shoot flames from his mouth and burrow through rock

007 can transform into anything

008 does well underwater and has makeshift gills.

now 005 is probably the one with the most in common to the standard germa powers judging from the durability (but that’s a common cyborg trope so idk)

But 004 is interesting as well.

if you look at the photo above, it resembles Yonji’s power (but without the “connectors”)

y’know that thing he can do with disconnecting his arms with the things ( i’m sorry i CANNOT explain this well) Although 004 does not have the things that connect yonji’s limbs still, they are very similar.

Next chapter- Cyborg 009 finally gets made and he is tested-

one thing about his outfit as well as all the other cyborg’s outfits ( which was brought up in sangerie’s post) is that is looks like sora’s outfit.

(the warrior of the sea not sora vinsmoke)

which i find interesting, is it possible that sora was made by germa??? idk. BUT IT COULD HAVE INSPIRED SORA VINSMOKE BEING PART OF GERMA AND ALL THE IRONY IN THAT-

(rant here but i hate 009 like he gets the coolest powers and i get it because he’s the most recent one, but at the same time he’s half japanese so its probably favoritism…)

After 009’s test, he meets the other 8 cyborgs, who immediately detain the scientists who experimented on them and in the beginning of next chapter, they start attacking the scientists 003 (the only girl cyborg) then says that they should not partake in the violence they were made for once the other cyborgs start attacking.

this may just be how all female characters are written but idk man this is giving me reiju vibes 🤷 they then take a scientist as hostage and take 009 with them. i know y’all are probably tired of me talking about hairstyles by now but 009’s kinda looks like yonji’s from the side- (if you’re delusional)

(now that I’m really lookin at it… it kinda looks like stealth b;ack hair but less complicated)

It turns out the scientist that was a hostage is actually allied with the cyborgs and his name is dr gilmore. He realized the work he was doing was inhumane and came up with a whole rebellion plan for the cyborgs.

Gilmore then helps the cyborgs hide out in a cave with him. the cyborgs make dinner and 009 learns their powers. during dinner, 009 talks to gilmore where gilmore states that- “..YOU ARE THE PINNACLE OF CYBER-HUMAN ACHIEVEMENT. MANIFEST IN YOU IS THE SUM OF OUR SUCCESS, VOID OF IMPERFECTIONS, A MASTERPIECE OF WAR TECHNOLOGY.” 009 then responds that he can’t do what [cyborgs] do, prompting this-

yes, gilmore is a good guy in this story but he STILL holds the core belief of the scientists that experimented on them. This whole talk is common in the cyborg scene yes, but it reminds me a lot of sanji who unlike his siblings, voices his awareness more often and doesn’t joke about such things as humanity, such as the scene where the siblings are laughing over their potential deaths (minus reiju but reiju also doesn’t fit into sanji’s place so she’s hard to place on the spectrum)

Humanity is talked about a lot in this chapter, specifically how much humanity can be taken away from you until you are truly a cyborg? or what lengths would people go to prove that they are the strongest nation?

The cyborgs soon get attacked by the black ghost organization trying to get them back. They send non human cyborgs out to defeat them and capture them, but of course our main group of the 9 cyborgs win.

Chapter 8 and 9 don’t have much, so it’s not too important BUT it’s mentioned that the leader of Black ghost MIGHT be a cyborg since he had accelerated (which is just moving really fast so it seems that time has stopped around you and only 009 has been revealed to be able to do this so far). Also in this chapter the cyborgs escape to japan.

In chapter 10, black ghost finds their cyborgs in japan and they’re doing good at fighting back But then Black ghost unleashes their new “weapon” on them-

Cyborg 0010. That’s a stupid name though so we’re just gonna stick with Cyborg 010. 010 has been sent to kill them all, however unlike the other 9 he does not view the other cyborgs as family, as he is stronger than them, and eve THEIR attacks don’t work on him. 010 also has acceleration like 009 because he’s better than them whatever whatever. turns out 010 is actually two cyborgs- plus and minus (y’know how electricity works with a negative and positive charge) they’re then defeated by 009 when he runs them into eachother, as positive and negative charges neutralize power and cyborgs need power.

What’s interesting is the after battle scene.

He is instantly more interested especially after the prince nearly forces the MC into a relationship with him after kidnapping her.

He is completely rooting for this prince character so much that he practically shouts in happiness whenever the guy enters into a scene although if Yonji had paid attention then he would realize that the prince is the villain of the story who kidnapped the MC.

But of course, he can’t just spend the entire day reading so eventually he has to get up and take care of things but once he’s done. He is rushing back to his room to continue reading and don’t think that Ichiji and Niji haven’t noticed because they do.

Yonji has no reason to want to keep this for himself at the moment so he shows his brothers what he’s been looking at and practically info dumps to them about the contents of the book. He’s of course describing it in his own distorted way so ”The prince is the guy that the MC is going to marry, he’s the best choice! Because she loves him!”

After a while of info dumping, they start to get a bit curious so they decide to steal Yonji’s copy from him and take a look until the servant that they sent out to get copies for them returns.

It’s safe enough to say that in that amount of time, they’ve wound up completely hooked on the story albeit only to watch as the marine and pirate love interest are absolutely wrecked by the prince so he can have what’s rightfully his.

To say that they’re invested too is an understatement as Niji is commonly speeding through his princely duties to get back to reading the story while Ichiji is just bringing the book everywhere with him to take quick looks at it throughout the day whether it be during meal times, during princely duties, or even while training.

Also I hope that you didn’t write any sort of steamy scene between the prince and the MC because lord knows that Niji is going to shamelessly start rubbing to the thought of it like one hand is turning the pages to continue while the other is stroking his cock.

Ichiji and Yonji would never stoop to that level though... They’ll go to their rooms and masturbate to the idea of the MC being ruthlessly fucked by the prince even if you didn’t write the MC being fucked and it was simply a close call...

Also I’d say that chances are that all three of them during their fun will probably start to imagine themselves in the places of the princes in the stories. It is absolutely safe enough to say that all three of them are absolutely pissed about this…

They can't believe that the MC not only completely abandoned the Prince for those two low life’s but she even had the nerve to act like the Prince never even existed in this first place in the ending!

It was unacceptable, horrible, downright disgusting! And most importantly completely unforgivable as well…

Ichiji thinks about finding the author and forcing you to change the story so the Prince who was clearly the best option would win and his brothers agreed with these terms as they nodded along deciding that this was clearly the best course of action

They looked at your books and found not only your full name on the cover but your mailing address as well on the back of the book, it didn’t tell them exactly where you were but it was good enough as it did tell them what island you were on

All that was left to do was go and find you

Their arrival on the island was met with quite a lot of shock as “Holy shit, it’s Germa 66!” and everyone quickly getting out of their way

They might be here for one thing but I feel that they are impatient so if you’re island has some kind of problem like it has a corrupt ruler, maybe there are pirates, bandits, or whatever then they might deal with that real quick so they can demand you as payment for their help

And if there isn’t then they can always have some soldiers raid the island to look for you and bring you to them or they could just look for you themselves and drag you back to Germa before you even knew what hit you

No matter what they decide to do though, it all remains the same and you’re dragged to Germa and made to stand before the three of them like you’re some criminal who fucked up big time

Your heart is pounding in your chest and you just plead for them to not hurt you and to please let you go home as you don’t know what you did and they say that they’ll allow you to go home if you write a new story for them, one where the Prince wins the MC

Very understandably, you’re incredibly confused but there’s not much that you can do so you agree to it then proceed to be locked inside of a room with little else other than a bed, bathroom, a closet, and a desk with writing supplies

You’re there for weeks with routine visits from the prince’s usually separate with occasionally two of them showing up at once and very rarely all three of them showing up at once

May-July 2023 roundup: Favorite one-shot comps edition

Flight by Minori Kimura is my first one-shot collection by her and immediately I was in love. Smart, sensitive, and very unlike anything I’ve read from her peers or anyone working today. Really looking forward to reading more so I have more to say about her style and talents

Rainy Doori no Niji by Keiko Fukuyama is not a one-shot collection but an anthology of connected stories centered around a painting that keeps changing hands. I only had a vague familiarity of Fukuyama by way of a cover of hers having caught my eye at some point but I hadn't memorized her name so this acquisition was very much something out of the manga itself. Polished and charming character art that reflects her background in anime not to mention fun and creative storytelling reminiscent of the early generations of children’s anime. Once I finished I was pretty embarrassed that I didn’t knowing anything about her at all prior to this.

Suki Desu, Kono Shoujo Manga is a 5 volume anthology that’s very special because it wasn’t curated by a group of editors but Shoujo manga artists who submitted a one-shot either someone else made or from their own career that they’re particularly proud of. And truly there were nooooo misses, it covers a 50 year time span and gave me the chance to read the works of artists I already love, were curious about, or never even heard of before. The covers are also all illustrations Chiki Ooya made specifically for the anthology series. Since a bit more than 10 years I really hope someone does a project like this again I’d love to know what the manga artist currently in the scene would pick as their favorite shoujo manga one-shot. Check its anilist page to see the full table of contents!

“GARO” “COM” is another curated anthology focusing on the very iconic and formative magazines named in the title (if you read Mitsuru Adachi and Rumiko Takahashi’s relay manga from Came The Mirror you may remember them discussing how formative both magazines were for them). Volume 1 covers the established talents who made up the initial all-stars line up in each magazine, Shirato Sampei’s Kamui Den, Tezuka’s Phoenix, Shotaro Ishinomori’s Fantasy World Jun, and Shinji Nagashima’s Fuuten are previewed along with one-shots from other stars. Whereas volume 2 features some of the breakout talents from each magazine. It was a great way to get a taste of what reading these magazines were like, although if you keep up with the alt manga that gets licensed into English you might have read most of the Garo works already (and for Garo it was a rather tame selection). Absolutely another type of anthology series I wish someone would bring back, bc I want moooooore. Check its anilist page for the full lineup!

Fulgur talked a little bit about Yugo’s “graduation” a bit on stream today so I want to quickly clarify some stuff that was talked as a brief over view.

Firstly, everyone probably has known for a while, the only thing they weren’t aware of was the graduation date. This make sense as I really did believe that everyone in EN was shocked in some way. Based on past tweets it’s most likely they knew around December 1st (around the time Niji JP Axia Krone graduated suddenly like Yugo), but we had no context at the time, so we assumed it referred back to Axia’s graduation (not that his graduation is any less than Yugo either). This was apparently debunked when Nina said the tweets sent didn’t refer to Axia but truthfully I don’t watch Nina so I can’t say anything.

Secondly, because no one knew of the date, most of Noctyx going on break was an accident. In fact most of it really was all bad conquincidence, several livers who did find out later changed their own streams dates as well.

Lastly, all livers cope with Yugo’s leave differently. Don’t bring it up in their chat, don’t question them about it, they are part of a company and in the end they have a contract to follow and can only disclose so much. Some livers may take a few days off, others may stream for some comfort. Point is as sucky as the situation is don’t interrupt someone stream to ask about Yugo.

Yugo may not be my oshi but he was to many other people. He’s also a part of Noctyx which was the branch that got me really invested in Nijisanji, despite being a fan before. YOU are allowed to cope (safely) and take as much time as you need to recover from this. This is a first for many, and it’s all cool if you need to think things through. Drink water, sleep a lot, binge old streams, do what you need for you.

This goes for any graduation. You are allowed to feel shit about what happens (I did too when Mayuzumi graduated), so don’t bother holding it in if you just need to cry or anything. Take care of yourself out there, let’s continue supporting and respecting Noctyx and Niji En as a whole.

“How is it?” Sanji asked expectantly, his expression hopeful.

A tiny gray rat nibbled on some quiche it’d been given. 

Upon seeing the creature’s enthusiasm as it took bite after bite, the young boy lit up. “I’m so glad you like it!” 

Seemingly understanding Sanji’s words, the rat stuffed its mouth with the remaining bits of egg before reaching out its tiny hands to ask for more. The blonde boy happily complied, handing the rodent another bit of quiche. 

“Prince Sanji.” A guard’s voice startled the boy, who turned slowly to meet disapproving eyes. “You should know better than to feed the rodents. It is already too much that you cook. It is not royalty’s place to serve others, especially a creature so far beneath you.”

Sanji frowned, handing the rat another morsel. “He’s hungry.”

The guard shook his head. “You’ll only anger King Judge by continuing both practices.”

At the mention of his father, Sanji felt fear grip his chest. Surely this guard wouldn’t tell his father. If so, that’d only bring on another beating from the man.

The boy stood as tall as his small frame would allow, his fists clenched as he tried to form a stern expression. “It isn’t a guard’s place to tell a royal what to do.”

At this, laughter erupted, its source just out of Sanji’s sight. The voices were unmistakable - his brothers were here. 

As the three boys rounded the corner, Sanji took a step back into his bedroom. Turning in time to see the rat escape out a window, Sanji wished he could do the same.

“It’s a servant’s job to do as commanded.” Niji was the first to speak, his blue hair swaying as he marched happily towards his brother. “And if that command is to order a pathetic weakling like you around, then he will.”

Sanji’s lower lip quivered as he took another step backwards. “Why won’t you just leave me alone?!”

It was Ichiji’s turn to speak, his arms crossed as he leaned against the doorframe. “Because, you being so weak and cooking for rats makes the rest of us look bad.”

Yonji chimed in, his broad smile sadistic. “Plus, kicking the crap out of you is a great warmup for our real training!” The boy slammed his fist into an open palm, the resulting noise punctuating his statement.

The guard had taken his leave, allowing the quadruplets to hash things out on their own. Sounds of fists striking flesh were mingled with Sanji’s cries of pain.

The question wasn’t directed at anyone in particular. Herself, maybe. Her parents, more likely. But those answers would never come. She knew that, and still her soul longed for an explanation. 

Why was she subjected to a life of misery? Her mother was the one who’d had an affair, resulting in her conception. Why was she the one to be punished? She hadn’t asked to be born - not to a cheating woman and not into a cruel household.

Sanji’s eyes widened as he took in the reality of Vera’s words. He opened his mouth to speak - to say something, anything - but before the words could begin forming, Vera had been ripped from his hands.

She’d begun running before registering that her feet had even moved. It was as though her body were on autopilot - moving without her input.

“Vera!” Sanji shouted after her, but her form had already become a tiny dot on the horizon.

Shit, Shit, Shit!

A memory was all it took, and now the truth was out. Sanji knew who she was. Knew what she was. He’d never look at her the same. Not with those kind eyes and gentle smile. 

Tears continued to fall, wetting the ground as she ran. Still, her feet moved without direction. It was as though someone else had taken control of her body.

Where was she going? The Sunny was in the opposite direction. The festival was on the outskirts of town and only forest lay ahead of her. There wouldn’t be any doors for her to escape through. 

What was she even trying to escape from? Now that her secret was out, surely the Strawhats would simply leave her on this island. She’d be stranded again, forced to resume working as a maid. Vera knew she could get by, but -

A shriek erupted into the night as she tripped over a tree root, tumbling forward and landing on her hands and knees. Dirt undoubtedly coated her as she rited herself and continued running, her tulle skirt now torn.

Images of the Strawhat Pirates flashed through her mind. Their laughter, their kindness, and their worry. Their friendship - she’d never experienced bonds so strong before. Vera had truly believed she’d finally found a place where she belonged. Where she was not only welcomed but wanted. Where she could be at ease, practicing her magic and expressing herself unhindered.

But that ease was what caused her current situation. She’d let her guard down, forgotten to keep specific information secret, and it had cost her the only home she’d wanted to keep.

She only had herself to blame.

Coming to a stop, Vera bent over and tried desperately to catch her breath. With both hands on her knees, she panted heavily into the night. 

Even with the moonlight, the forest around her was barely visible. Any illumination the town would have provided was long gone, far behind her and unable to penetrate the dense grouping of trees and underbrush she now found herself in.

Surely, no one would come through here. Not at night, and not when there was a festival in town. She could rest - away from any prying eyes and away from the Strawhats. Though she doubted they would come looking for her.

“You lost her?!” Nami shouted in disbelief.

Upon realizing he couldn’t catch up to Vera, Sanji had bolted to the Sunny. Nami was the first crewmate he’d run into and immediately told her everything that had transpired, his voice and movements frantic. He now stood before the ginger navigator, panic taking hold of his erratic heart as he awaited her response.

She wasted no time, grasping the magic key which hung around her neck. Thrusting it into the nearest door, she flung the wood open. Before the pair stood Vera’s pocket dimension - the space appearing like a regular bedroom, sans the assorted collections of organized items which shared no connection - but the witch in question was nowhere to be found.

Cursing under her breath, Nami produced a transponder snail from her pocket and called the rest of the crew. Within moments, all nine Strawhats and Law were searching for their missing comrade.

“You’re sure that’s what she said?” Zoro’s eye narrowed as he scanned the area, a torch illuminating his path.

“For the last time, yes!” Sanji gritted his teeth, pushing down the urge to argue with his green-haired companion. “Her exact words were ‘Why was I born a Celestial Dragon?’. And then she ran off!” The blonde threw his hands into the air, the familiar feeling of defeat sinking his shoulders.

The crew had split up into groups of two for their search. Sanji had the misfortune of being paired with Zoro, the two assigned to the forest where Vera had last been seen running to. 

“Hey, waiter.” Zoro grunts, regaining Sanji’s irate attention. “Look at this.”

On the forest floor before the pair sat a witch’s hat - the one Vera had been wearing earlier that evening. The fabric was now crumpled and dirtied, the wooden comb Sanji had won for her still nestled into its thick brim. 

The chef took the hat into his hands and brushed off what dirt he could. Examining the forest floor, handprints and an upturned root showed which direction their companion had gone. 

“Looks like we’re getting close.”

“Vera.” A soft voice spoke her name, inciting feelings of comfort and joy. A smile graced the girl’s lips at the sound.

She wasn’t sure who was talking, but she felt safe with the mystery speaker. Their tone was deep and smooth, reminiscent of polished mahogany. 

“Sanji.” Her own voice came as more of a sigh than actual words, but she knew her sentiment was received. Her prince had come for her and now she was safe again. 

“Vera.” The voice called again, louder than before but not forceful. The witch in question looked around, searching for the voice’s owner.

“Sanji?” She called into nothingness, not another soul in sight. “Where are you?”

When she didn’t receive an answer, Vera began to search more frantically. But still her efforts saw no results. Where was Sanji? She could hear him but she couldn’t see him. She couldn’t see anything. How long had the world been devoid of color?

“Vera!”

Dark eyes shot open at the abrupt shout, the rising sun glaring over the horizon. A hand was brought up to shield her eyes as her mind began its gradual return to reality.

She felt stiff all over, her neck and side sore from sleeping on the forest floor. Her brain was still foggy with sleep, causing her brows to furrow. “What time is it?” Her voice was hoarse.

“Does it matter?” The voice was deep and gruff, laced with annoyance. Distinctively not Sanji.

Vera opened her eyes once more, being met with a pair of piercing golden orbs. A head of shaggy black hair had eclipsed the sun. The witch frowned.

“Law.” His name dripped from her tongue like poison, clearly unhappy with her visitor.

The man chuckled, reaching a hand out to help her stand. “Don’t sound too disappointed. You’ll hurt my feelings.”

When she’d been brought to her feet, Vera took a moment to stretch. The morning air was cold and her festival outfit did little to protect her from the breeze that sent a shiver through her core. 

Law raised an eyebrow, eyeing the girl’s attire as she yawned loudly. The thin bodysuit and tulle skirt were hardly covering her, let alone providing any warmth. “Here.” He allowed his thick jacket to slouch off his shoulders and offered the article to her.

She took a moment to process his gesture before taking the black jacket from his tattooed hands. “Thanks, . . .” Her voice wavered with uncertainty, making no attempt to disguise her lack of trust in this man.

As she wrapped the article around herself, its long fabric shielding most of her legs from the wind, Law turned towards the open ocean. “We should get you inside. Bet you’re hungry.”

Vera scoffed. “You expect me to go back to the Sunny? I’m sure Sanji told you everything.”

Law only placed his hands into the pockets of his speckled jeans and began walking before he spoke again. “We aren’t going to the Sunny.”

With hesitant footsteps, she began to follow. The pair walked along a rocky cliff, waves lapping at its exposed facets as gulls cried overhead. Peering down, what Vera saw caused her movements to falter - if for only a moment.

Moored to a craggy outcropping of rock sat a yellow submarine, its bright visage bobbing amidst the seafoam.

I think Judge is jealous of his children, in a way.

It's never mentioned or displayed that Judge has modfied himself like he did with the brothers and Reiju. He can fly because of his Raid Suit. He has that lightning staff because it's his wepon. He himself is not a genetically modified super human.

Now there's two main schools of thought for this:

1) His vanity & hubris

Now, if you had the chance to modify yourself to be seemingly indestructible and have a signature ability, wouldn't you? Well, Vinsmoke Judge disagreed.

Maybe because of his greater-than-thou ideaolody, Judge is vain enough to consider himself as a perfect being and is not in need of any genetic change in any way. However, his children are part-Sora, the woman who betrayed him. Sora had not done anything as of Reiju's birth, yet Reiju was still modified because Judge still saw Sora as somewhat lesser than himself. The only way his children could be the perfect Vinsmoke is if they became the infallible Commanders of his army.

2) His caution & potential undoing

Judge is always wearing his Raid Suit. The only difference is that he gets a cape when he "equips" it. This could be linked to a personal fear factor that anybody and everybody could be out to get him. Vegapunk was arrested for the experiments with the Lineage Factor, so who's to say Judge hasn't been on the list for a while.

In a sense, if everybody has the potential to betray him-so do his children. Vegapunk left, Sora betrayed him and a normal Sanji turned away from his family. No matter how many obedience-reinforcing modifications they go through, Judge can see for himself what a dangerous, sadistic and psychopathic force he has created. Judge is a fool, but he isn't completely stupid.

But he also could be cautious because of how extensive the modifications are. It's implied that the brothers in particular went through many over the years to make them "perfect" and it's not beyond the realm of possibility that the modifications may never actually end. The brothers were modified within the womb, with Reiju being modifed after her birth, so perhaps Judge was simply too old or even incompatible with his own brand of technology.

-This all ties in with the actions of one son in particular: Ichiji

Ichiji is the most likely to have completely absorbed Judge's ideals and goal, being the firstborn son and first pre-birth success of Judge's science. Ichiji could probably take out all his siblings on command if it ever reached that point, and Judge would still have a prized son to leech off of and hand over his crown.

However, there is no mention of Judge ordering Ichiji and Reiju to retrieve Niji and Yonji during the latest manga cover series: Germa 66's...Aah, An Emotionless Excursion/Germa 66's Cold-Blooded Voyage, likely because he didn't. Going back would mean admitting a defeat of some sort, something Judge will never do. He would never send his most beloved son back into firing range and risk losing him because Judge doesn't take risks.

Niji and Yonji are left behind because, despite everything, they are expendable. The heir to Judge's dream of an empire is not. If anything, the brothers have probably had it drilled into them that they aren't as important and they should stay behind if they fall behind.

But Ichiji isn't totally like Judge, and I refuse to believe that scientifically Sora's attempts to nullify the emotionless modifications only affected Sanji: just Sanji the most. The brother's have a minor myriad of times they could have turned against each other or simply ignored each other but they didn't.

And yes, Ichiji told the others to leave Reiju for dead, having absorbed Judge's message. But now he and she are working together to bring two and four back. Because Judge and his children are different.

Judge doesn't accept failure, believing he is perfect, although still jealous of his children for what they can accomplish through him. He's the biggest failiure of them all.

Harry Styles Got Shameless for Harryween, to the Surprise of Literally Nobody

The two-night Fancy Dress Party at Madison Square Garden, announced two years ago, was a Halloween treat worth the wait.

Ever since Harry Styles announced his Harryween shows in New York, almost two years ago, anticipation ran high. But Harryween was worth the wait. It was the hottest Halloween party in town, as fans took him up on his challenge to dress up for the occasion in Madison Square Garden. And to the surprise of absolutely nobody, Harry overdid it. On Saturday night, he came out as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, posing with his picnic basket, dress, hair bow, and ruby slippers. For Sunday, he covered Britney Spears’ “Toxic” in a Pierrot clown suit, and he relished every ruffle of it. “I must say, I feel fabulous,” he told the crowd on Night One. “Do you feel fabulous? Good! Now we’re going to sing a sad song.” The whole Harry philosophy in one line.

The weekend was billed as a Fancy Dress Party, but it was a lot more than that. Over two nights, Harryween was a delirious glam-pop orgy, and the crowning cherry-on-top moment for his amazing Love on Tour. Originally booked for 2020, Harryween got pushed back a year when the pandemic hit. It was a long overdue victory lap for his blockbuster Fine Line, which dropped in the final days of 2019. Before the lockdown, he got to do only one proper U.S. arena show, at the L.A. Forum, where Stevie Nicks joined him to duet on “Landslide.”

But because Harry has an insatiable appetite for wreaking ungodly chaos in our lives, he topped his own standards this past weekend. Every moment of Harryween had the essence of a Harry live show, which is creating a communal sense of joy that turns total strangers into a congregation of ecstatic revelers. As he told the crowd, “Please feel free to be whoever it is you’ve always wanted to be in this room tonight.” The boyish mischief on his face as he started the rare fan-fave “Medicine,” knowing full well he was about to intoxicate everyone with “Toxic” — just pure evil. Britney was right — a guy like him should wear a warning, although maybe a clown costume counts as one.

When Harry spoke to Rolling Stone about his debut solo tour, he summed up his live aesthetic. “To me, the greatest thing about the tour was that the room became the show,” he said. “It’s not just me. I’m just a boy, standing in front of a room, asking them to bear with him.” But the room really became the show for Harryween. So many angels, fairies, superheroes, queens, cowgirls, Britneys, Juliets, Eltons, Cher Horowitzes, “Good 4 U” Olivias, sunflowers, the Bring It On cheerleaders doing cartwheels on the floor. And the twin queens of this year’s Halloween: Megan Fox from Jennifer’s Body and Velma from Scooby Doo. Glitter everywhere. Sequins and wigs. Feather boas. One of the best audience signs: two fans dressed as zombies, with the placard “Eat People With Kindness.”

Nothing could have kept this guy out of a dress for Night One. As Judy Garland’s Dorothy, he kept prancing and skipping and curtsying. (Has anyone loved anything as much as Harry loves to curtsy?) At one point, he clicked the heels of his ruby slippers while guitarist Mitch Rowland played the psychedelic “She” solo in his Cowardly Lion costume. The whole band was decked out in Oz drag: drum goddess Sarah Jones as the Wicked Witch of the West, bassist Elin Sandburg as Glinda, keyboardist Ny Oh as the Scarecrow, keyboardist Niji Adeleye as the Tin Man, and percussion master Pauli Lovejoy as the Wiz. (In a band full of larger-than-life personalities, it took a special kind of cruelty to cast the shy guitar dude as the Lion, but Rowland worked that mane like a true king of the forest.)

Harry committed to the role, right down to the tiniest details. Even when he skipped off and onstage for the encore break, he refused to surrender his picnic basket. After introducing the band, he held up the basket and yelled, “Now also, make some noise for Toto!” For the encore, he glided right from the ballad “Sign of the Times” into “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” tipping his cap to the long queer histories encoded in the song. (Right down to how David Bowie interpolated it into “Starman.”) He captured the sad yearning in the tune, without playing it for laughs. Here’s to his Dorothy Era — let’s hope he keeps on following the yellow brick road.

For Night Two, he laced up in a Gucci clown suit full of ruffles and frills. It evoked Bowie in his classic “Ashes to Ashes” video, with a similar emotional impact. As Bowie said in the Seventies, “I’m using myself as a canvas and trying to paint the truth of our time on it. The white face, the baggy pants — they’re Pierrot, the eternal clown putting over the great sadness of 1976.” Between clowns and The Wizard of Oz, Harryween covered two-thirds of my childhood nightmares. (To complete the hat trick, he could have added the Abominable Snow Monster from Rudolph.)

This might have been a fancy-dress bash, but that didn’t make it fundamentally different from his other shows — at any Love on Tour stop, it’s tough to find any corner of the room that isn’t strewn with feathers. During one of the early-October NYC shows, he singled out a group of dads to roast their fashion decisions. “You want to know how I know you’re dads? Because you’re wearing a golf shirt to a concert. All three of you, tucked in!” There was a touching moment Sunday night when he announced, “We have a very special guest in the audience — he was here last time we were in New York. Golf Daddy is back! He’s STILL tucked in!”

Musically, this tour goes for high-energy dance pop, skipping some of the biggest ballads in his songbook to keep the vibe festive, especially the 15-minute jam of “Canyon Moon,” “Treat People With Kindness,” and the early One Direction oldie “What Makes You Beautiful.” For “Treat People With Kindness,” the fans on the floor had a country boot-scootin’ line dance — they worked out the choreography long-distance around the country. And on this queerest of annual holidays, “Lights Up” took on a new resonance. Fans passed around different-colored slips of paper and Harry asked them to shine their phones’ flashlights through them, creating a rainbow around the room — a statement of Harryween Pride.

On Sunday, he stunned the crowd by busting out “Medicine,” a Stonesy pansexual anthem that got cut from his debut solo album, yet became a highlight of his first tour. He milked the surprise, pausing midpose as Jones struck up the drum intro and pandemonium swept through the room. Everyone sang the hook: “The boys and the girls are in/I mess around with them/And I’m OK with it!” (It’s officially “them,” but it’s fair to say most fans sing “him.”) And he went right from that to “A guy like you should wearing a warning.” There were rumors all night he might dip into the Spears songbook, since his stylist, Harry Lambert, changed his Twitter header to a Britney photo a few hours before the show. Yet “Toxic” was a surprise, just a few weeks after he waved a “Free Britney” banner onstage. Three years ago, in Madison Square Garden for summer 2018, a fan asked Harry his favorite Britney song. When he replied “Toxic,” the fans started chanting, “Sing it, sing it!” “You want me to sing it?” Harry asked. “Well, let me see … [Dramatic throat clearing] No.” But tonight he finally delivered his “Toxic,” and he went all the way into the song, taking his sip from the devil’s cup and slipping into a poison paradise.

The show ended, as always, with the glam-rock powerhouse “Kiwi,” which never fails to make the entire building wobble like a belly dancer. Fans on the floor gathered in a ring to create an awe-inspiring mosh pit. (At the Oct. 4 show, one of those moshing fans was Halsey.) It’s an amazing sight to witness from anywhere in the room, and it’s gloriously terrifying to get swept up in it, with the floor bouncing madly. The mania unleashed by “Kiwi” summed up everything Harryween was about: stepping into the light and finding out who you are. It was a Halloween weekend never to be forgotten.

BRAINWORMED

(Sorry everyone)(also you can tell I wrote this on my phone for two hours at 3am?)

Sanji who grew up in the All Blue. Judge and Sora being loving and caring parents for their five kids. They fish and cook and are happy. When Reiju turns eight she is gifted a forever post to the All Blue and the same with 1234ji. The kids are all normal and play and swim and dive. Sora tells the kids stories of pirates who made it to Laughtale, the closest island to them, but they didn't make it to the All Blue. No one has made it except Judge and Sora, escaped royals presumed dead.

It's hard to get to their home after all. You have to make it through the Grand Line and find the caves in the calm belts that lead to a massive crater in the Redline that the All Blue resides. Sora has met those pirates that made it to Laughtale though, kind and larger than life and just. 01234 love listening to Sora's stories and Judge smiles from the kitchen as he listens.

Sanji is the best diver in his family, bringing up so much shellfish or kelp or seed pods or anything. They're happy. And then a seaking fucks with them in the calm belt when they're out for some reason and Sanji is separated and lost his forever post. He has no idea about his family and he's in the East Blue and sobbing as he gets onto the orbit and begs for a job.

Canon happens and everything is normal up until Alabasta where Ace has Niji with him and they're sobbing and hugging and like "I thought you were dead!" "I thought YOU were dead!"

"Do you have your post?"

"No, do you?"

"No."

"FUCK!"

Everyone is watching these two and Ace eventually asks Sanji if his dream is to also find the All Blue and Sanji nods. Turns out Niji was found by the White Beard fleet and has been trying to find his family while Sanji has been at the most popular restaurant in the world trying to find out about his family. And then they explain they're brothers and they got separated from their family on the calm belt. Sanji asks if Niji has seen anyone else and he shakes his head but they exchange Mushi numbers so they can keep in touch.

And they do keep each other updated up until Sanji is sent to Kamabakka by Kuma and Niji is with Luffy at Marineford and they save Ace. Luffy explains a few days later he doesn't know where any of his crew is because of Kuma. And then Jozu explains someone is here and it's Yonji, in a marine uniform. And Niji is tackling him because brother? But Marine?

"yeah, sorry, I defected and didn't have other clothes, glad youre alive, where is Sanji, Reiju, and Ichiji?" Yonji asks as he wrestles Niji to the point of sitting on him and Ace and Luffy are confused there's another one.

"No forever post?" Niji asks instead.

"No shit, dumbass, where are the others? Mom? Dad?" Yonji demands fisting his hands into Niji's shirt and them rolling around and fighting more.

When the Strawhats get back together Ace, Niji, and Yonji are the newest recruits. Rayleigh is telling Ace he's glad he's alive and then looks at 234ji and is like "are, are you kids happened to be related to a couple named Judge and Sora?"

"Yeah, those are our parents. The dead prince and princess of Germa!" Yonji grins.

"And they live on Laughtale?" Rayleigh asks hesitantly.

"No, the All Blue." The three brothers answer instantly and Rayleigh feels like having a heart attack.

"You can only get into through the calm belts, it's really hard and tedious but there was something we had to get but a sea king kind of ruined it and now we're trying to get home." Niji explains.

"Yeah! There's two more of us, Ichiji is the oldest of us boys and Reiju is our older sister." Sanji tacks on. Zoro is having a heart attack. There are four other shitcooks? He's fucked. He's so fucked and Nami thinks they're all gonna perv on her but they don't, even Sanji has chilled the fuck out and says hes just started lying to Zeff after training where he was which, what the fuck does that mean?

Once again it's all pretty normal, turns out Reiju is with Sabo in the Revolutionary Army and she gets the crews numbers so that they can keep he updated at the cabin and Law is asking what's going because they sent Sanji and Yonji ahead after Sanji's fight with Doflamingo and Sabo is like "okay well Ace and Luffy are my brothers, how the fuck do you know these people?"

"I don't, Niji is my little brother and they sent Sanji and Yonji ahead according to Law." Reiju tells the Chief of Staff.

"So what's the All Blue like? You have more memories since you're the oldest, right?" Zoro asks and Reiju smiles a serene smile Sabo and Koala have never seen on her face.

"Well, there's fish from all four blues and more. Spices and plants never seen nor tasted. It's the bluest blue you'll ever see..." She tells them all about it and Niji is smiling too, chirping in with stories. Niji makes sure she doesn't have a post either. Sabo also spends a lot of time hugging Ace and Luffy and Ace gives him a piece of his vivre card.

They get to Zou and Yonji and Sanji have been kidnapped by Gramma and Grampa Vinsmoke who test on them. Yonji is like "I think that was worse than being a marine" and Sanji is just like "I think it was worse than being at Baratie"

And Luffy is like "oh by the way your sister is gonna call soon" and is promptly tackled by the boys. Brook complains he didn't get to meet her as does Nami. When they get to Wano, still everything is the same just with extra people helping here or there. Niji tells them about Reiju talking about the All Blue and Luffy complains he wasn't awake for it. So they describe it and tell stories and Nami says the way they describe the water reminds her of their eyes.

"They're our mom's" Yonji smiles at her.

"So why do you three have different hair?" Chopper asks.

"Technically we don't, we dye it. Sanji's hair just never took the dye because he was in the water the most." Niji grins and ruffles Sanji's hair.

"So you guys really are from the All Blue?" Law double checks because first he's heard about Germa but now the All Blue exists.

"Yeah! It's shitty cuz there's a lot of spices there that are found only there and I can't ever quite replicate them." Sanji nods.

"So where do you think Ichiji is?" Yonji asks.

"Well, maybe he's with Mom and dad?" Sanji shrugs.

"Man that'd be cool." Niji sighs.

"Im stuck in you guys dying your hair." Ace admits.

"Well, we kind of had to, outside of Sanji having opposite curled brows we're identical." Niji says.

"We're quadruplets." Yonji says and Zoro almost asphyxiates on his drink.

"Bless your mother." Law breathes. "What technologies did they use?"

"Dude we lived in a floating house with a floating green house and like two desks with some microscopes. This was all natural." Niji says.

"What the fuck, what the fuck, the fuck is wrong with your family, good fuck." Law murmurs as the brothers laugh and Chopper says he wants to do a check up on their mom when they meet. They meet Ichiji towards the end of Wano since he's kind of Kaido's personal assistant and Yamato and Ace are very happy to see each other and they see Ichiji's chance for escape and he's holding his three brothers and everything.

And then they head off to continue on their way to make Luffy the Pirate King. Franky manages to replicate the Marine Tech that allows them to cross the calm belt and they send Ichiji and Yonji off to make sure Sora and Judge are alive and if so be able to house them. Sanji wishes he could go with and so does Niji but they have duties to fulfill and on the way to Laughtale Sanji and Niji tell them all about it again.

After Luffy is crowned and Shanks and Rayleigh and everyone is there and then Luffy demands they go to the All Blue next which Shanks finds ridiculous and Buggy is calling Luffy dumb but Sanji and Niji are pointing and Nami is looking at her bracelet and is like "okay, lead the way men" and they do any then their like "oh yeah, we need to worry about the sea kings this is their breeding grounds btw" and Shanks and Rayleigh go to work bullying sea kings as Sanji and Niji manage to guide the Sunny and call directions to the other boats cuz the caves are pure rapids that spit out into calmer waters. It's like a solid week sail from Laughtale to the All Blue. Everyone is looking around and Sanji and Niji immediately jump in the water and in the distance there's a floating house. With the boat Franky built. Sanji sky walks over and Niji curses him as he gets back on the boat.

Ace flies Niji and Luffy gum gum rockets after them despite Zoro yelling. When they lay anchor close to the house and boat over and see parents crying and holding their son's and then they start thanking Luffy and the crews and while Shanks and his crew are trying to like not take credit and Buggy is like "why the fuck are you praising us? What the fuck?" And Judge is catching up with Rayleigh.

Reiju shows up not too long after with Sabo and Koala and they throw a massive party where everyone is fishing or diving or gathering spices and stuff and Sanji takes Luffy into the water to float and Luffy is zapped from the water but Sanji won't let him drown.

Sanji's dream was just always getting home, to his family, to the place where they were safe.

Let’s be honest Harry could say the N-word with a hard ER and fans would still find a way to protect him and defend him. Harry did not take Covid seriously. We saw that during the height of the pandemic going to a wedding when we were still in the midst of a worldwide pandemic and he didn’t give a fuck. He was selling mass telling people to stay home and was still going out living his life. Harry only spoke up about black lives matter in the summer of 2020 because he was pressure to. Not because he wanted to. Not to mention he has never spoken up about it ever again. There has not been so many things that have happened and he hasn’t said shit about it. Not to mention other issues that have happened social issues in the world and Harry hasn’t said shit about any of them. If you did it speak up about black lives matter you were seen as someone who didn’t think black lives matter and Harry didn’t want to seem racist which is why he spoke about it. It was very disingenuous in my opinion as a black person. Harry only hired Pauli, NIji and his new pianist because of the fact that he was hated on because of the fact that he only works with white people. So Combat those rumours he fired two of his friends and hired black people. It was performative. I’ll bring it back to most of the One Direction boys when Zayn was abused and had racist, Islamaphobic, and xenophobic comments thrown at him in one direction Harry and the rest of the boys didn’t do anything to defend him. Nothing was done to protect that boy but Zayn was the first person to defend any of the boys in anything that happened. I have seen some really racist things that have been said about his bandmates of colour and he has said absolutely nothing about it. Harry is a performative activist who only speaks up when it makes him look good in my opinion and fans will always find a way to defend him. Again it’s that weird para social relationship they have and they think that they know this man in and out. Here you could be a fucking closet racist and we could never know. This man hangs out with a majority white people Doesn’t defend the people of colour around him. It’s very odd. Fans will do what they want to protect him and to protect the narrative around him and protect the image of him that they have in their head and not really care about the people who it affects. His girlfriend is abused by his Fanbase on a daily basis They attack her luxe, her appearance, her skills as an actress, her skills as a Director, they attack her family, they have said awful things about her and her children sent death threats to them and he has said absolutely nothing. He refuses to claim this girl publicly. He will kiss her in public but will go and do an interview where he won’t even claim her and say that he’s never been in a public relationship. Even when he has the opportunity to defend her he won’t. He doesn’t like confrontation so he would rather much avoid it. Anytime he’s in a scandal he’ll never say anything about it. He and his team had to put out a statement saying that he did it spit on Chris pine but when his girlfriend and her children are receiving death threatsHe’s quiet about it. He’s a coward is what it comes down to. He knows that if he were to ever talk about Olivia regardless if you believe that the relationship is real or not he knows that he will lose a good chunk of his Fanbase because they don’t like her so he would rather much keep them around and let them bright and attack her and her children then to call them out and risk losing a good chunk of his Fanbase. Why do you think Harry has never spoken out about Larry properly? That’s a big portion of his Fanbase that he’s a wanna alienate and he would rather let them live with their delusions then actually tell them the truth and say it’s not real. 

you know, back when everyone was talking about Palestine and Sheikh Jarrah, and i mesn everyone, i remember posting on here that i wish harry spoke about it, too but i had harries coming to my ask and telling me to k*ll myself, to get r*ped, etc. and that harry doesn’t owe anyone that and that he shouldn’t talk politics. (that’s what pushed me into changing my blog from a harry one to a multifandom one). so, no matter what happens, harry will stay as he is.

he’ll talk about the stuff that will shut people up for a while, that will look good for his brand. does he actually believe in any of that? does he give a rat’s ass? we don’t know.

honestly talking about this aspect of harry at this point is getting tiring because it’s just how he will always be. maybe it’s fame getting into his head, maybe he’s not who we’ve always thought he was, i don’t know. yes, it sucks, but at some point, we all need to know how much of him do we want to enjoy.

i love reading fanfic harry. i love his music, i love his outfits, i love the nostalgia he gives me. but putting him on a pedestal and believing that he’s anything but just another celebrity? don’t think so. x

Don’t Say Goodbye. || One-Shots ||

I am just in a mood to create broken hearts right now it would appear, this is just a few one-shots on a couple of the boys and my take on how they would act with there s/o dying in their arms due to various reasons based on the character i am writing for. - Mod Diluc

Diluc

The sound of yells grew distant as the vision began to blur from your eyes. The only sensation you could still feel was the tight grasp of your hand in the larger one wrapped round it squeezing it. Diluc was holding you as you laid there on the muddy dirt, resting your bloody and broken body on his legs. Cradling you like a new born while shaking back and forth, trembling in traumatic disbelief over what was taking place before him.

His eyes were swelling with tears threatening to break out and spill down his cheeks, he kept kissing your weak hand gently, each kiss being dragged out longer than the one before, shaky shushes passing his lips in a frail attempt to soothe your weakening body. You'd been adventuring alone again for several weeks away from Mondstat and The Dawn Winery.

You didn't think much of it as you often left for long adventuring trips, bringing back goofy and silly souvenirs for your beloved Diluc, you just didn't realise this time around you'd be ambushed by the Fatui on your long trek back to his winery. Having been unbeknownst to you fatally wounded, you managed to break free and escape, bleeding heavily from your right side, shakily sprinting to the only place you knew could be a safe haven, Dilucs winery.

You'd fallen to the ground in a crumpled heap not barely a few seconds after Diluc spotting you running down the dusty and dirty road. He sprinted to you eyes wide yelling as loud as his vocal chords would physically let him. "Y/N! No!" He skidded and slumped down into the dirt himself, tugging you carefully but quickly into his lap muttering 'No' over and over in rapid breaths. And now you were where you were at, the life slowly but surely leaving you while all you could feel was Dilucs gentle kissing lips and warming embrace.

Does he know how much you love him? Did ever know how much he meant to you? Oh no... the souvenir you'd found for him... you dropped it back when you was ambushed... he would've loved it so much... however likewise with him to you, did you know how much you meant to him? How truly happy he was that he'd finally found someone he could trust and give his life to. Had he ever even said he loves you back? All these questions that were going to be left unanswered to the both of you.

Still trembling he watched as your light dimmed in your eyes, leaning his head down he softly placed a kiss against your unresponsive lips, parting ever so slightly to rest his forehead against yours and whimpering in a broken tone. "I love you, Y/N" When he lifted his head back up he felt the air being squeezed out of his lungs to see your eyes were now closed and there was no longer movement in your body.

He looked up at the night sky, the stars twinkling so beautifully over such a devastating and tragic moment. Closing his eyes he silently prayed the gods take good care of you up there till he can finally be there with you. Lifting up slowly with your now lifeless body bridal style in his arms he began to walk back to his winery, his expression stern and showing no pain. But it was all a facade for inside he was crying and screaming to the heavens and hell for having let this happen to you.

"They will pay Y/N, I promise you. I'll see you again soon; someday."

Childe

The rain was pouring heavily, hitting angrily against the cold hard concrete, the drops splashing up and back down as they landed with such impact. You were wet and cold, but your body had been going numb for minutes now as the blood was leaving your body so quickly. You shakily looked round to see the last attacker being cut down to the floor by your one and only love, Ajax.

The unknown man's body hadn't even hit the floor by the time Ajax had thrown his weapons down and rushed to your side. "Oi oi, come on now, look alive. More will be coming soon." He let out a nervous laugh not wanting to believe what he was seeing in front of him right now. You'd only gone out for a little drink and joke about in the beautiful rainy day, you both enjoyed running around in the rain so much after all. He tapped your cheek gently trying to keep you conscious as he could see your focus leaving you as fast as your blood was.

He pressed his hand against the open wound in your chest; a pitiful attempt to try slow the bleeding. You cursed yourself for not being more alert of your surroundings when that man crept up behind you and ambushed you by surprise. He shook his head vigorously side to side. His mask hiding most of the unbearable pain behind it. He should've known better than to think it was safe to come back to Liyue so soon after having caused such chaos.

Why the fuck did they have to go for you both though, you were innocent from all this it was him they wanted so why, why?! Why you?! He made a soft 'Tsk' sound from his mouth as he choked back the tears while looking at you. You had little vision left, little time too, but with what little strength you had remaining you lifted your hand up gently and pulled his mask off. Wanting to see his face one last time before you're gone from this world.

Exposing his damp cheeks and red eyes to you, you were able to form the smallest smile at him. "Don't... d-don't leave me Y/N, please..." his voice was barely a whisper now as he remained stiff by your side. "I won't..." You coughed back gently, you didn't even try to sound believable with that; you both knew it was a lie and you were on your way out with only seconds to spare.

You were his everything, he knew you was too good for him from the very beginning, yet you was determined to always be by his side. He knew he was a bad guy, a villain, but with you by his side he was able to feel like someone's hero. You meant fucking everything to him so why did someone so pure have to be taken so soon. You coughed gently once more before choosing your last words carefully, knowing they were to be your last.

"Childe- Ajax, you're not a bad guy. I have and will always love you..." Your voice faded into a whisper and then... nothing. Your eyes closed and your hand that had been against his cheek was now limp, the only reason it was still in its prior place was because Childe himself had been applying slight pressure to keep it there. You were gone now, at rest and probably somewhere much better and further away from this hell.

He looked at your resting face just wishing you'd open your eyes again and say it was all just a big terrible joke. But that wasn't the case, however his broken and torn expression immediately dissolved when he heard the rapid steps growing louder. "There he is! Apprehend him now!" One of the guards shouted to the several others. He quietly apologised to your resting form, letting your hand leave his face and finally rest with the rest of your body, he was also sorry as he wasn't gonna be able to give you the burial you deserved, he wasn't gonna be able to use that ring he'd bought you to propose with, and unknowing to him, you wasn't gonna be able to tell him the good news that he would've been a dad.

He lifted up slowly, hair now soaked and water droplets falling from all over his body. The blood leaving your body had began to swirl and dance with the water pooling against the concrete as the heavy rain showed no signs of slowing down. His mask back in his hand before it found its way back on his face, turning and stepping over to his slung down blades and kicking them up into the air grabbing them. Parting his knees swiftly and getting into his battle ready stance. The mask made him look like the bad guy every one claimed him to be, but underneath was the most broken and tormented boy that they'll never know.

"I'll always love you too Y/N, I am sorry but you're wrong, I've always been a bad guy, I just... I tried to be a better one for you."

Xiao

The sky was ablaze, organe and yellow flickering all over, ember floating up and down softly. It was so hot; unbearably so as you were laying on the wooden floor of the top balcony at the Wangshu Inn, blood spilling out of you and soaking the wood all around you. The fire was growing dangerously closer, but did it matter now? You would be dead in a couple more minutes away.

Had everyone escaped the Inn at least? Was everyone safe? You hoped they were. But it was then you felt an instant gust of cold wind wail past you like a roaring monster and die down the flames that had been encircling you and drawing ever so closer. Your vision was nearly gone and it was hard to make out anything except the smoke and fire, but those blue oni mask eyes were unmistakable, Xiao was above you right now.

His hand was hovering over your cheek, still scared that even now he may cause you more pain than comfort in your fleeting moments. "Y/N wake up. Don't be defeated so easily, this is truly pathetic, even for your standards." Harsh words as always, you knew he was sad and just lashing out, his words were cracking and his voice was wavering in its tone. Was that a sniffle? It was hard to make out among the crackling fire destroying the walls and wood around you and his mask muttering and muffling his already quiet words.

Why did they go for you? They wanted him to become nothing anymore, to just slip away and leave the entire history of Liyue to them. Leave the nation built under Rex Lapis to the incapable feeble hands of mortals. He couldn't ever allow that, he refused to back down so easily. But this? Surprise attacking the Inn and burning it down while taking the only mortal who held something to him away? How sick and lowly of them.

You went to speak but all you could muster was a cough as blood spat out your mouth across your bottom lip, your time was fading fast. He swallowed down and removed his mask, a shake in his hand as he did so, resting his proper gaze on your form one last time, allowing you to see him in his first ever vulnerable state, tears slowly falling from his face, letting his hand slide across your cheek gently, swiping the blood off your soft delicate lip. Why did it hurt him so bad? Why was this reaching so deep within him?

All those times he'd sighed and disappeared to get away from you, all those eye-rolls to your silly jokes and huffs to your tedious and pointless tasks. Why did he feel an ache in his throat when he thought about how he won't ever get to experience those annoying moments again? What was this? It couldn't be. Had he truly fallen in love with a mortal? Impossible, but what else could explain this gut wrenching feeling he had swirling inside him.

Everything was crumbling apart around him but his focus remained on you as you looked at him with those eyes, those same eyes that often stared at him with hope and admiration, now they stared with soft kindness and fleeting wishes. If this was love then he wasn't ready to have it taken from him so soon, but what could he do except watch as you left this world. He gritted his teeth together and his hand clenched tightly round his blood stained spear. This was truly unforgivable. If only he had killed those monsters sooner, got to you quicker... maybe then he could've saved you.

"I..." he began to stutter gentle words out while stroking his thumb delicately across your cheek, why hadn't he just swallowed his pride and touched you sooner? Why hadn't he just admitted this to himself quicker and embraced you. You had always been there for him despite his many harsh rejections, you were nothing but kind and truthful, loyal and honest to him and now? He resented himself for not having taken the chance to love that he had had in his grip for so long. Your vision was gone now and your ears were following quickly behind. "I... Y/N..."

Just spit it out already, before the time runs out for you- "Y/N I love you..." he looked at your face searching for a response but you were gone now. The gods had given you all the time they could spare and unfortunately it wasn't long enough to Xiao. It wasn't fair. He couldn't even let you know how he truly felt before you were ripped from him. Tears rolled down his face faster now, but the sorrow and pain he felt quickly welded into anger and inner rage boiling at the highest temperature.

He frowned deeply, lifting up from your body, hiding his broken expression behind his oni mask once again, shakily breathing in with a deep sigh, the shake in his hands slowly dissolving as his mind set itself onto a new mission, he turned and walked to the banister of the balcony and swiftly lifted up onto the top, looking over the landscape around him as the only place he'd truly ever known as home was burning to ash around him. He turned round taking one last longing look at your lifeless form and then leapt high into the air soaring through the skies, straight for Liyue.

You never wanted this, he knew that, you'd never want him to cause a war over your death, but you wasn't here to talk reason into him anymore. He was never gonna see your annoyingly beautiful face again, and this was all Liyues fault. They had to pay, and if that meant causing a war between humans and Adepti... then so be it.

"Forgive me Y/N, but without you here now, I see no reason to keep caring for these monsters. I'll hope you'll understand when I see you again one day."
