just a silly little kimchay drabble, inspired by jeff's recent haircut !! an imagining of how chay would react to kim's new look lol

set post-canon + canon convergent???? basically, not divergent but i forgot the word for it lol

Chay’s not angry.

He really isn't.

Even if his jaw is set tight as stone and his fists are clenched behind his back.

Kim is looking hot, as per-the-usual, dressed in a dark leather jacket and matching slacks. He's even got smokey eye makeup and a sick eyeliner for a complete bad-boy look. Clearly a concept for one of Wik’s upcoming singles, not that Chay minds.

What he does mind is how his boyfriend’s hair has been buzzed off. There's still a bit of length on the top, but the sides have been trimmed and shaved down neatly. And sure, it brings out his sharp jawline, previously hidden by the curls that rest by his ears, but still, Chay finds himself unreasonably agitated.

It's the suddenness of it that catches him off-guard. Kim hadn't mentioned anything about his hair even after their usual morning fuck. It's lucky that Chay had been unusually needy, not knowing it'd be the last few moments where he could tangle his fingers within the long trusses of Kim’s raven hair. Curl them when Kim presses him deeper into the mattress, Kim's tongue licking into the roof of his mouth, calloused hand teases under Chay’s waistband, wandering further, further ー

“Chay?”

He doesn't realise how long he’s been staring, but it must've been long enough for Kim to notice. Snapping himself out of his reverie, he swiftly turns on his heel, ready to dial up the huffiness and put the sorriest-looking pout on his lips.

He deserves that much for such an (un)pleasant surprise.
