Melbourne is a hub of sporting activities where people from all over the country come over to train at the best of gymnasiums and training centers, as they offer world class facilities along with most renowned and experienced trainers in all kinds of sports.
Boxing is one of the most popular sports for people in Australia looking to enhance their strength and durability together with all round physical fitness. This is a sport that demands highest levels of mental and physical strength to survive. Since it is a contact sport that involves physical damage, people that believe that they can handle such damage or physical trauma, are most inclined to try it out.
Facilities
Most gymnasiums that you will come across have very limited facilities. Some gymnasiums that do have some facilities, lack the structure and style that is required to turn it into a world class gymnasium. Good and world class gymnasiums have some of the best and state of the art machines that are proven and are used only by sportsmen of stature.
So, if you are looking to enjoy the facilities of a world class gym that has some of the best and state of the art machines that will give your body the right amount of pressure required to turn you body into muscles that are strong enough for competition, you should conveniently join boxing classes in Melbourne.
Tribute Boxing andFitness gymnasium has facilities that most gymnasiums can only dream to accumulate. They have enough space and systems to accommodate several classes of different levels, without creating any interruptions in any of the classes.
They have different facilities for different set of students. Beginners are trained on different facilities, while advanced students are trained differently. People looking to hone their boxing skills or professionals looking to use professional training methods can enjoy completely different facilities from others.
Expert trainers
One of the most important features of all good gymnasiums and training centers are professional, qualified and experienced trainers. Some boxing gyms use services of qualified trainers, but they lack the experience and expertise to train people looking for serious boxing classes in Richmond, Australia.
Experience and innovation are the backbone of all training centers. All those boxing gyms, that do not have good and experienced trainers, slowly go down in oblivion. Boxing gym in Docklands and Melbourne owned by Tribute are some of the best training centers for fitness and boxing enthusiasts.
Many courses on offer

[health-andfitness]-Your SOS guide to getting out every kind of holiday stain
Share Tweet Google Plus Share

The holidays are rife with delicious foods and beverages; unfortunately, many of those happen to cause stains should you accidentally get them anywhere besides your stomach. Gravy, chocolate, red wine, coffee, and cranberry sauce are some of the worst offenders you will encounter. But since accidents are bound to happen, we went to the experts to get their best DIY stain removal tips.
“Fresh stains are much easier to remove than those over 24 hours old.”
First off, there are three basic things to know about getting out any kind of stain, says Kelly Love, co-founder of Branch Basics (a line of non-toxic, plant-based cleaning products): Act fast, pretreat, and agitate. “Fresh stains are much easier to remove than those over 24 hours old,” she explains. If you can’t deal with your stain right away, it might require an overnight soak. Lastly, you need to agitate the stain (no, we’re not referring to the way your siblings make you feel when they gang up on you even though you’re all adults).
“Agitation is the process of rubbing the stained fiber to loosen the soil, grime or dirt from the material, and bring into more direct contact with the cleaning solution so that the stain is lifted and removed,” Love says. How vigorously you can agitate the fabric depends on how durable it is—something silk will require a much gentler touch than jeans. (Pro tip: Love says toothbrushes work great for the agitation portion of stain removal.)
Now that you’re armed with the basics, here are DIY stain removal tips to deal with the most common holiday stains.
Red wine
Okay, so you accidentally slosh red wine down your dress whilst dodging a conversation about what your “internet job” actually is (a totally non-specific instance). All hope is not lost. First, blot up the excess liquid. “Soak the stain in cool water until no more color is coming out,” suggests Derek Christian, co-owner of the cleaning company Castle Keepers. “Pretreat with prewash stain remover, liquid laundry detergent, or a paste of powder detergent and water, and wash.”
If that doesn’t work, he recommends washing your clothing again. This time use a non-toxic bleach alternative. And whatever you do, do not let the fabric dry between pretreating and washing, warns Christine Dimmick, author of Detox Your Home and CEO/founder of natural cleaning line The Good Home Co. “Keep cleaning and machine washing until the stain is gone. Once dry it will be much more difficult to remove the stain,” she says. (This goes for all stains, not just red wine-related ones.)
Gravy
Gravy is delicious, but it’s also made from oily meat juices that can permanently stain your clothing. Should you happen to be overzealous with your ladeling and get some on your outfit, don’t panic. First up, you want to blot up the excess oil/gravy with a paper towel, Love says. Then cover the stain with a thick coat of baking soda, and let it sit until the oil is absorbed. Scrub the baking soda into the stain with a toothbrush, pour fragrance-free dish soap over it and agitate the stain, then wash in the washing machine, Love says.
Cranberry sauce
The best part of Thanksgiving dinner is the homemade cranberry sauce (don’t @ me, this is a hill I will die on), but sometimes the things you love can do you so wrong. Like if you’re consuming said cranberry sauce with such gusto that you happen to get it on your grandmother’s tablecloth and then also on your sleeve. To remove this sort of stain, Jack White, vice president of technical services at Rainbow International, says to blot the stain with a white cotton towel, and then flush it with warm water. Mix together a tablespoon of dish soap with a cup of warm water, and use that to keep blotting the stain until it goes away.
Coffee
You wake up slightly hungover from the one-too-many glasses of wine you consumed at Thanksgiving dinner, make your way to the kitchen for much-needed coffee, and promptly spill on yourself. Been there. “My go-to for removings stains is white vinegar,” Dimmick says. “If you spill coffee or tea on anything, immediately neutralize it with white vinegar. Then rinse and spot scrub with soap and wash immediately.”
Love also recommends spraying the stain with Branch Basics All-Purpose (it contains a combo of stain-grabbing surfactants) and rubbing the fabric to agitate the stain.
Waiting in line is another inevitable part of the holiday season—here’s how to do it without turning into a shell of a human. Then learn how to calm holiday stress in less than a minute.

[health-andfitness]-How hard to scrub your face while cleansing, according to a dermatologist
Share Tweet Google Plus Share
Save tumblr
A solid skin-care regimen starts with the most basic but necessary step of them all: washing your face. This involves choosing the right kind of cleanser for your complexion’s needs, running water, and a working knowledge of how hard to scrub your face. The latter is where all of the confusion comes in.
There are two camps when it comes to facial cleansing: the hard scrubbers and the gentle washers. Scrubbers are all about applying pressure so that the face is nice and red after its wash (er: workout), while the more gentle washers use a soft touch when massaging in the cleanser. Whichever one you are, chances are you don’t give much thought to the matter—you just do what feels right.
Welp, after perusing the Skincare Addiction subReddit, I found one Redditor proclaim that they’ve changed their skin solely by gently cleansing their face rather than harshly exfoliating it. “Once I really started taking my sweet time, applying very, very light pressure, I noticed immense improvements in my skin tone especially, as well as smoothness, reduced redness, reduced bumpiness, etc.,” they write.
A soft touch, eh? It can seem a bit weird and like you’re supposed to do the opposite, AKA rub hard to make the product penetrate the skin and really get in there to work. But I checked with a derm to be sure. “Be gentle always unless you’re attempting to exfoliate,” says Robert Anolik, MD, a New York City board-certified dermatologist. “If you’re using an exfoliating cleanser, pressure is helpful if it’s a physical exfoliator—the greater the pressure, the more exfoliation. But this needs to be titrated to what your skin can tolerate. It can also be helpful to assist in the penetration of a chemical exfoliator into the skin.”
So, essentially, let your cleanser and how your skin reacts to it, of course, guide your practices. Using a normal, everyday cleanser calls for gentle hands, but if you’e exfoliating, mimic that sloughing-off action with more pressure to help the product really go to work or back off to get a more gentle skin sloughing. Bingo.
For your face washing game, here’s the low-down on micellar water. And this is why to wash your face with sparkling water.

[health-andfitness]-The Japanese de-cluttering method that will still keep your home cozy
Share Tweet Google Plus Share
Save tumblr
These days, the internet seems to be overflowing with organization and decluttering advice. But if you’re not into near-sterile minimalism, much of it can be difficult to relate to and near impossible to implement IRL.
But experts say wabi sabi, a Japanese view that opens its arms to imperfection and uses an object’s age or deteriorated state to reimagine its purpose, can actually help you embrace your home as it is, while also seeing a greater plan for the space at large.
“Wabi sabi is all about the beauty of perfectly imperfect.” —Julie Pointer Adams
“Wabi sabi is all about the beauty of perfectly imperfect. I think that’s the concept to keep in mind because it’s simple but not austere; it’s comfortable,” says Julie Pointer Adams, an entertaining and decorating expert and author of Wabi Sabi Welcome. “A wabi sabi home is a place you want to be; it’s not super sterile or super organized to the point of not feeling homey anymore.”
So if you’re particularly fond of the cozier things in life—wabi sabi may just be the guide to getting your home in order while still retaining a lived-in feel.
Keep reading for Julie Pointer Adams’ advice on using wabi sabi to clear the clutter and curate the home of your dreams.

Allow beauty and utility to converge
As you begin to learn your aesthetic, don’t simply retain it for items that you’d label as “home decor,” but rather, allow your design taste to extend to functional items such as storage and cleaning tools as well. By making them equally as beautiful as your other objects, they’ll bring you joy rather forcing you to think about doing a chore.
“This is a way to think about the things that you purchase,” says Pointer. “Ultimately it means that you’ll really need less stuff when you have utilitarian things that also serve the purpose of being beautiful in your home and become decor.”
Pointer gives a couple of examples of products that can be useful and easy on the eyes, including a tasteful basket to hold magazines or elegant kitchen tools that you won’t mind seeing out on the counter if you’re short on storage space.
Photo: Stocksy/Kara Riley
Embrace the wabi sabi take on reuse
Rather than feeding into the cycle of buy-use-repeat, Pointer recommends keeping an eye out for home decor and furniture that will stay with you for a long period of time. “I try to buy things that I know are going to last,” she tells me. But as things become perfectly imperfect, a cracked bowl or a wobbly stool for instance, ideate around ways to fix them so that they have a new beauty and remain useful in your home.
Photo: Stocksy/Visual Spectrum
Invest in things you really love
Is there anything more gratifying than guaranteed two-day (or better-yet same-day) shipping? According to Pointer, waiting out a purchase—especially one that you really want—is totally worth it.
“I think when you decide that you’re going to save up and invest in something you really love and know is going to last a long time, you end up needing fewer things, ultimately,” she says. “It’s a different mindset than a lot of us have, and it’s still a challenge.”
Whether your splurge is a set of luxe silk pajamas or even a new couch, the build up can result in more intention being put into your surroundings.
Still trying to cultivate your home’s aesthetic? Look to Australia for some serious inspiration. If you’re not sure where to begin, start by curating your nightstand.

Racking your brain for gift ideas that are the perfect combination of thoughtful, useful, and unique is pretty much the most stressful part of the holiday season. But if you’re retreating to the bath to recover from epic internet gift-scrolling, you may have already found your answer.
Pictured: Beautycounter founder Gregg Renfrew
As in, self care. To curate the ultimate guide, we asked Gregg Renfrew, founder of clean-beauty brand Beautycounter, to share the products she’s actually gifting to her loved ones this year—and her recommendations are legit.
Just like she founded Beautycounter on the premise that women deserve products that make them look and feel good (and aren’t harmful to their health), she applies the same philosophy when she’s shopping for the women in her life.
“Giving a gift they are going to love that’s also good for them is so much more compelling than a bottle of wine or cocktail napkins,” she says. “It shows that you care.” Consider that an automatic holiday win.

[health-andfitness]-The introvert’s guide to social engagement
Share Tweet Google Plus Share
Save tumblr
Given the choice of interacting with people or watching the new episodes of Agatha Christie’s Poirot on PBS, well, let’s just say I think David Suchet is better company. If you are an introvert like me, you relish your time alone. But we should also understand the dilemma we face when it comes to long-term health. Research continues to show that regular interactions can lower your risk for heart disease, depression, and early death.
But what if being social is not who you are?
An introvert is someone who enjoys solitude and focuses more on internal thoughts and feelings. Unlike extroverts, who gain energy from social interaction, introverts often expend energy in social situations. After being with a large group, people who are introverted often feel a need to recharge by spending time alone.
While people who by nature are more introverted are not necessarily at a higher risk for problems related to isolation, they should make efforts to stay engaged with others on some level, according to Dr. Steven Schlozman, an assistant professor of psychiatry at Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital. “You don’t always have to be more social if you don’t miss it, but humans are social beasts by nature. We really do well when we connect with others, even for brief periods.”
Find social opportunities that work with your personality
Don’t feel you have to change your nature in order to socialize more. In fact, it’s almost impossible to do. Many studies have shown that a person’s core traits tend to remain constant throughout life. “If you were an introvert when you were younger, odds are you will be later in life,” says Dr. Schlozman. He suggests that instead of fighting your personality, work with it, and focus on the type and level of interactions you can do and enjoy. “Was it one-on-one time to discuss last night’s game, or was it being part of a group where the attention wasn’t focused on you? Once you can identify those types of engagement, you can create strategies to achieve them. Being stressed defeats the purpose of socializing, so you should make sure you are comfortable with the level of engagement and have the chance to back off or do something else if it doesn’t feel right,” says Dr. Schlozman. Here are some suggestions:
Know your boundaries. You may be more comfortable with social settings that have a defined beginning, middle, and end. Introverts are often not comfortable with uncertainty about when something will end, and these boundaries help them engage in conversation.
Control the setting. If going out is not easy, have people come to you. For instance, invite someone to your home for dinner, or have a small group over to watch the game. This puts you in control of the environment as well as the amount of socializing.
Focus on activities. Signing up for class at a local college or community center can help you place your energy and attention on the activity rather than conversing with others. “Sometimes just being around people is enough,” says Dr. Schlozman.
Join a club. Find an organization based on your personal interests or hobbies, like a golf league, civic club, or volunteer group. “It is often easier to interact with people who share your passions,” says Dr. Schlozman.
Socialize from afar. Social media is another way for introverts to stay connected. For example, Facebook has groups devoted to specific activities or interests that people can join and participate in at whatever level they wish. You can watch from afar and choose when to interact, and come and go as you please, without the worry of commitment. For the record, I’m told Facebook has several fan pages devoted to Poirot.

Some of the most popular foods in the American diet will age the body and create conditions for sickness and disease to develop. A lifetime of eating foods like pizza, sodas, burgers, fried foods and sweets leave the body weak, malnourished and disease-ready. At Hallelujah Diet, we’ve created a unique program to help you re-calibrate your eating habits so your body performs as it should.
What is the Hallelujah Diet 60-Day Challenge?
The Hallelujah Diet 60-Day Challenge is a free online program that’s designed to replace unhealthy eating habits with foods that help you feel better, look better and function at your very best. The 60-Day Challenge features a meal plan based on God’s Word as stated in Genesis 1:29: “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.“ In essence, the body is designed to live on a primarily raw plant-based diet since plants contain “living nutrients” that feed the body’s “living cells.” Keep reading to find out all you need to know to take on the 60-Day Challenge.
What Does the 60-Day Challenge Entail?

Answers to common questions provided by our health experts
In-depth information about diet and disease
Benefits of the 60-Day Challenge
In today’s fast-paced world, poor diet, sickness and disease have become a vicious cycle that tears down the body and mind with each passing year. The quality of food the average American eats lacks the substance and nutrients needed to sustain a healthy body with today’s hectic lifestyles. In effect, it’s a cycle of diminishing returns that leads to mental/emotional breakdown and developing diseases, such as diabetes, cancer and heart disease.
The 60-Day Challenge puts a stop to all that by helping you incorporate healthy eating into your everyday lifestyle. The Hallelujah Diet is a primarily raw, plant-based diet that’s designed to jumpstart the body’s natural healing processes and promote optimal health and well-being. Fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, along with discrete supplementation, contain everything the human body needs to function at its best. Benefits of the Hallelujah Diet include:
Rich source of nutrients
Low in calories
Promotes healthy digestion
Naturally boosts your mood and mental functioning
Strengthens the immune system
We’ve received testimonies from around the world about how the Hallelujah Diet has helped people from all walks of life. People who’ve adopted this healthy-eating lifestyle tell of how they’ve recovered from over 170 different physical problems after they started this diet plan.
The Hallelujah Diet: How It Works
Every single cell in the body relies on enzymes to function normally. Enzymes are the protein molecules that keep chemical activities within the cells running smoothly. As the body ages, it loses the ability to efficiently produce enzymes. As this happens, cells, tissues, organs as well as major bodily systems start to weaken and break down. These conditions open the door for health problems and disease to develop.
The Hallelujah Diet is designed to restore the body’s enzyme-producing capacity and support healthy cell activity. Enzyme activity determines how “alive” any one food is and “living” human cells require “living” food for optimal functioning. In essence, this food lifestyle goes to the root of the problem by strengthening the body at a cellular level. The foods that make up the Hallelujah Diet plan contain high levels of enzyme materials. The menu can be broken down into two basic food groups: 85 percent raw food and 15 percent cooked food. The plan also stresses the importance of staying properly hydrated.
Part 1: 85 Percent Raw Food
The raw food portion of the Hallelujah Diet consists only of garden-grown foods that are rich in “living” nutrients. A regular diet of fruits, vegetables and legumes greatly reduces the risk of developing many of the chronic diseases we see today. Raw foods also help curb the types of hunger pangs that develop when eating a diet made up of unhealthy foods. Some of the raw food types you’ll be eating include:
All raw vegetables
All fresh fruits
Beans, including peas, sprouted garbanzos and sprouted lentils
Grains, such as raw muesli, soaked oats and dehydrated granola
Beverages, including BarleyMax, extracted vegetable juices and re-mineralized distilled water
Oils and fats, such as flaxseed oil, extra virgin olive oil and tahini
Sweets, including raw fruit pies, fruit smoothies and date-nut squares
Part 2: 15 Percent Cooked Food
This portion of the Hallelujah Diet consists of cooked vegetables, whole grains, whole grain pastas, cooked beans and lentils and similar plant foods. Cooked vegetarian foods serve a dual purpose in this meal plan, helping you meet the body’s daily calorie and protein needs while also increasing energy levels, trimming excess weight and curbing appetite cravings. The 15 percent cooked food portion includes the following foods:
Cooked vegetables like collards, kale, broccoli, Swiss Chard, cabbage, etc
Homemade soups minus any unhealthy dairy, fat and table salt components
Baked potatoes, both white and sweet potatoes / yams
Organic whole grains, including muffins, pasta and whole-grain cereals
Beans, including kidney, lima, black and pinto beans
Oils, especially vegan mayonnaise
Dairy, including almond milk, non-dairy cheese and rice milk
Hydration: The Water Component
The 60-Day Challenge combines the benefits of a plant-based diet with liquids to keep the body well hydrated. The recommended daily allowance is equal to half an ounce of liquid per pound of body weight. Many of the foods included in the Hallelujah Diet, such as vegetable juices and raw foods, already have a high water content. Water is especially important, as this vital element helps the body’s systems work together in unison. The raw vegetable component coupled with daily portions of distilled water will easily keep you well hydrated.
The BarleyMax Difference
BarleyMax, one of the raw food beverage components, is a key ingredient in the Hallelujah Diet. BarleyMax consists of a combination of barley and alfalfa juices that are grown in nutritionally rich soil, harvested, juiced and reduced to a living powder using a special proprietary process. Nowadays, most foods grow in soil that’s been stripped of its natural minerals due to repeatedly farming in the same soil. These missing minerals are important because they promote higher enzyme activity in the food.
For these reasons, the barley and alfalfa materials contained in BarleyMax are grown organically in areas known for their mineral-rich soil and clean air. The irrigation or watering process also uses water that’s pumped from deep inside the earth, which also carries a high mineral content. This growing process works to preserve the plant’s life force, giving BarleyMax the widest spectrum of nutrients from a single food source.
BarleyMax contains a host of vital nutrients, including essential amino acids, vitamins, antioxidants and chlorophyll, just to name a few. For each day of the 60-Day Challenge, mix just one to three teaspoons of BarleyMax with water or your favorite juice and you can expect to reap the following benefits:
Helps you lose weight
Helps balance blood sugar levels
Detoxifies the body
Boosts the immune system
Improves blood circulation
Increases energy levels
Improves digestion and elimination
God’s Natural Laws: The Foundation of the Hallelujah Diet
Healing from sickness and disease is one of the most commonly heard prayers in our churches today. It’s not that God doesn’t hear us because He’s already provided the answer to good health in His Word. God has also told us what happens when we don’t have the information we need to prosper, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…..” (Hosea 4:6, KJV).
God’s Word gives us a roadmap for living in every single area of our lives, including what foods we should eat. God’s natural law concerning our dietary habits take into account the human body’s needs as far as nutrition goes. With the proper nutrients, the body can eliminate the toxins that weaken it and ward off sickness and disease.
Along with Genesis 1:29, God’s Word addresses our dietary needs throughout the Holy Bible. One such example can be found in the Book of Daniel, chapter one, verses 11 to 16:
11 Then said Daniel to the steward whom the chief of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, 12 Prove your servants, I beseech you, for ten days and let us be given a vegetable diet and water to drink. 13 Then let our appearance and the appearance of the youths who eat of the king’s [rich] dainties be observed and compared by you, and deal with us your servants according to what you see. 14 So [the man] consented to them in this matter and proved them ten days. 15 And at the end of ten days it was seen that they were looking better and had taken on more flesh than all the youths who ate of the king’s rich dainties. 16 So the steward took away their [rich] dainties and the wine they were to drink and gave them vegetables (Amplified version).
The truth of the matter is we already have the information we need to live healthy lives full of vitality and energy. The research and work that went into developing the Hallelujah Diet are drawn from God’s natural laws to help people regain the health and vitality that’s naturally theirs to have. The 60-Day Challenge offers you the opportunity to see for yourself.
Supporting the Body’s Natural Ability to Heal Itself
Every cell in the body is constantly at work, monitoring and adjusting its chemical processes to maintain its original healthy state. This means whenever stress, trauma or injury occur, the affected cells are “pre-programmed” to do whatever it takes to return the area to wholeness. Cells not only can heal themselves but also produce new cells to replace those that have aged or been damaged. Each cell’s ability to do this resides within its DNA code.
As long as the body can supply its cells with the building materials they need to function, it’s more than able to ward off sickness and disease. It’s only when we deprive our bodies of essential vitamins and nutrients that sickness and disease can gain a foothold. The 60-Day Challenge equips you with the tools you need to eat right, which will revitalize the body’s cells and tissues. Once the body’s nutritional needs are met on a cellular level, you can expect to see noticeable improvements in your overall health. This is what happens when the body gets what it needs to thrive.
The Detoxification Experience: What to Expect
As you progress through the 60-Day Challenge, the natural cleansing effects of the Hallelujah Diet will start pushing toxins out of your body. Toxins enter our bodies through the food we eat, the air we breathe, the medicines we take and even some of the products we use every day! Once inside the body, toxins enter the bloodstream and build up inside the cells and tissues.
As toxins start to leave the body, you may experience mild detox symptoms, such as coughing up mucous, flu-like symptoms, headaches and mood swings as your body adjusts to healthy food.
