thought too long about veilguards wasted potential with some of its companion storylines and had to go take a walk ๐
#the 'hardened' mechanic being almost only gameplay related is cowardice#neve should be able to torture information out of someone to save minrathous post dragon.#lucanis should have become like. cold and calculating and spite should have gotten way more play post dragon#but NOTHING !!! oh no i have to fight the venatori more often when i go to minrathous now :/ no actual consequences#it looks horrific sure but rook is never made to confront that#alistair takes you to task for killing connor#anders confronts you over killing mages and fenris confronts you over helping slaverd#*s#icr dai#but GOD the wasted potential in veilguard. so sucks.#it makes me more mad than if it had just been *bad*#its on the cusp of being insanely good but bioware wont trust its players and they will not make genuinely complex companions
