thinking abt splatoon 3 and it's kinda upsetting that they had this cool location of the splatlands and the reveal trailer made it a more apocalyptic setting with unique cultural backgrounds in splatsville idols and then just decide to spend the rest of S3 making more of an inkopolis presence

#i think theyre experimenting with the series a LOT with this game #because they cant make the next game cement a formula and get pokemon syndromed #so theyre testing the waters of how to make 4 feel really different in ways people will respond well to #and wrapping up inkopolis lore like squid sisters oth and salmon run/mr grizz #i LOVE the splatlands but i think they should make 4s location have 0 contact with any of the japan areas and take it somewhere else closeby #like an entire island over that requires a boat to travel and is too long for a bridge or subway
