Puting Mafuyu in a different school in the unit swap au is very funny to me cause for Mizuki it means that not only do they not befriend Rui but Mafuyu does before they ever even have a conversation with him. Which tbf is still only after their initial unit story but still

#rat rambles #sekai posting #unit swap au #the good news is the mafuyu does introduce the two after deciding mizuki needs more friends #the two met after mafuyu had to go back to school as themself now #they were still trying to maintain a bit of an image but they kept having panic attacks over it so they started heading to the roof #whenever they felt a panic attack coming and rui still hangs out up there so hes there to say hi #mafuyu mainly started to talk to him more because he was the only one who didnt make a big thing out of their change or acted worried #the two arent super close or anything but they hang out at school and chat a lot #so when mafuyu was like how can I maks mizuki meet more ppl when I have like 3 real friends. wait hold on minute #so they get mizuki into coming to a haunted house with them and ena by using ena being a scaredy cat as bait and then also grab rui #and theyre forced to pair up and switch in the middle and thats mafuyus grand plab to force mizuki and rui to hang out #it has mixed results but it goes well enough #mafuyus presense around rui at school though does kinda scare off nene from trying to spend more time around him at school tho :(
