akamaru hating you in the beginning then slowly growing to be as obsessed with you like kiba is🥺

PLS I JUST KNOW THAT DAMN DOG IS SIDE-EYEING U WHEN U BECOME KIBA'S GF- like, you can't tell me he wouldn't try to squeeze right between you on the couch, or would try to steal all of your man's attention whenever you'd go on walks, would kinda whine and try to push you off the bed if you'd stay the night ndjdjsjdhahsg

and you understand the reason as to why, sort of. out of the blue, there's not just the two of them anymore, but there's also you. you, with your girly smell, and higher voice, and smaller body that can't run as fast as them; unable to keep up, and thus forcing kiba to slow down as well. turning him all mushy and soft, making him constantly zone out and think about things he's never particularly cared before.

like, why is he sniffing flowers and whistling as he cooks breakfast all of a sudden? did he ever turn this red in the face, this often? it surely isn't healthy.

it's no wonder akamaru can't get used to you when you're nothing like his best friend. especially because said best friend is now changing completely. he's spending way more time getting ready in the mornings, talks in his sleep, and sometimes even doesn't let him inside his room when you're in there as well; emerging out of there only a long while after, smelling weird and acting even weirder.

and as the months go by, it's like a warzone has taken place between you and the canine. you're both fighting for kiba's attention until you're left to your own devices one day because he's busy helping shino with something, and somehow - as you're both in the kitchen and you're sharing your dinner with him - you both realize that you can get along. that you can just share your favourite person, because there's plenty to share anyway. he loves you both equally and you don't want to ruin the experience for him, so you become buddies and form memories that are enjoyable for all three of you.

akamaru forgets all about kiba the moment you get pregnant anyway shsixjjsjshs TURNS INTO FULL GUARD DOG MODE, TOO!! walks with you at night if your man isn't able to make it and constantly sticks by your side, protecting you <3
