I will likely never get to do anything with her
#the band ghost#nameless ghoul oc#i mostly wanted practice making a character sheet ish thingy#and by god i got that#had to work hard for her colors which is not usually a problem for me#and the silhouette flip like if your character doesnt have a tail then bam its done and no one will notice the small problems#but it doesnt work with a tail if you want perspective i had to redraw/move her tail around to make it look right so. learned that very much#i like the layout concept though thats nice#i have a whole backstory for her. she was part of a group summon and it all went fine except that one person was missing and they ended up#with a statue. she was too terrified to talk to anyone so she got left there and after it sounded empty she reverted and found some place to#hide in the gardens. so she lives there now. and ruins a lot of socks. and helps with the plants not that anyone knows that. and panics and#turns to stone if anyone walks by. so everyone does realize theres a moving shifting statue in the abbey but no one is sure what to do about#that. doesnt speak much if at all. doesnt steal a new shirt bc people notice if those go missing unlike socks. has anxiety bitch face also#yeah. and like. i dont know what a fandom is and i certainly dont know what a music is and thats why ill likely not do anything with her#which kinda sucks. but i still made her a character sheet cause she wont leave me alone. and for the practice#cause if i think about doing a sheet for story ocs i get all perfectionist and it doesnt happen#the luck thing is that she kinda thinks being summoned was a curse#im gonna shut up now

Okay but. What is tgcs long term goal. Because I'm really starting to think they don't have one,, everything they do seems to be building them up to a point where no one wants to play sky anymore?? Everything they do feels like massive self sabotage? It just feels too stupid on their part for it to be a coincidence and yet. It probably is. And sky is going to keep succeeding as a game because no matter what happens and no matter what they do, people only talk about it for a few days and then go back to playing like normal. It's like they know that no one will actually do anything to stop them,, they know no amount of people will stop playing "just because" of whatever the reason of the week is. They can just keep getting worse and worse and worse

Not hiding the fact that it's a game that exists purely to make money#but at least they make it enjoyable. Every event has clearly had thought put into it#every new character too#there's no part of genshin that feels like a truly worse experience without spending money#it doesn't have the panic factor sky does with limited time iaps#genshin motivates players to spend money by having new and exciting characters with shiny new skins#and well you got your character why not get their signature weapon too?#genshin is a gambling game like any other gacha but like. The want to gamble is coming from love for a character#or the idea that this specific character will help u be better at the game/do more damage#sky makes u spend money bc of. The fear of missing out#they make a cool new item and list it at some exorbitant price and then give it a time limit before it never comes back#and BAM suddenly everyone wants it#it's not even always for the item. It's because the item is limited time only#same for the season pass + such#idk. Sorry I need to stop making these posts but it's rlly so frustrating#I know everyone loves sky I KNOW. But where is ur breaking point? #I’m honestly not seriously thinking about staying up all night just to not have nightmares#waking up screaming in a panic crying is awful#and doing that while being too tired to get up to try and break that dream cycle thingy after having woken up by it twice sucks even more#if I’m gonna have these nightmares at least let that be the only sleep issue#then I can try and get some sleep around then#now it’s just lay there awake unable to fall asleep#fall asleep then bam nightmare fall back asleep bam another nightmare fall back asleep yet again#sleep for a couple of hours and woho it’s 5am let’s wake up a few times over the next few hours before you sleep through your alarm#and then repeat#it’s wonderful#I am slowly losing my mind#well to be fair after waking up screaming crying panicking last night I did get to sleep the rest of the night without waking up#a rew times during the morning hours#it did take me a while to fall back asleep after said nightmare but still#it’s the small victories I guess#now I’m gonna have to force myself to go to bed bc i really don’t want to have more nightmares
