Anyone else get strangely attached to your electronics or is it just me?

#i don't know why i'm hesitating to switch to my new tablet #i got the old one for free as part of a promo #and i don't use it enough to justify the data i'm spending on it #and the new one is bigger #this should seriously be a no-brainer #just make the switch Arkon geez #but the old one is smaller #comfier #familiar #seriously i really like the form factor of the old one #this shouldn't be that hard #i bought the new one on a whim #i should be able to switch on a whim #but...#i feel like i'll miss the old one...#seriously i really feel like a jerk

(EDIT: I WAS WRONG)#Dragon LWJ probably would be some kind of river dragon. Lesser god of a small stream.#One that grows bigger with time but always has the reputation of being benevolent and calm to those who seek its clear waters.#Do not pollute these waters or your ass is going to be bit. 1000 tiny puncture marks.#I imagine that's probably how wwx first meets him (accidently pours booze into lwj's river) (gets bit - gets bit - gets bit-)#WWX eventually befriends him through stubbornly showing up every week to give him offerings.#Takes him into town in a little pot of water to show him how the people live. Maybe go to a festival.#When the day is done and he's back in his river and alone - LWJ finally feels a new emotion...it is longing and loneliness.

for my feline friends: this purr generator is my favorite thing on the internet, you can adjust the timbre as you wish and it's so warm and calming

for my canid friends: these generators for wolf pack howling and sled dogs running are by the same sound engineer on a different website, also adjustable, the sound quality is great and they never exactly repeat

overall i really recommend the site mynoise.net!! it's got so so many different noise generators and you only have to donate like $5 once to access them all there's no subscription or anything. some of my favorites are northern woodland, sailing ship, japanese garden, mr. rhodes, distant thunder, and dreaming nautilus <3
