in the final stretch of The Starless Sea and i am just so glad to be able to see myself in a fantasy protagonist. it's so refreshing to have so many casually and boldly queer characters in my favourite genre
and truly nobody does prose quite like erin morgenstern, little paper stars scattered throughout the novel for you to piece together
