Finallyyyyyy finished Moonlight Chicken and omfg it was so good. I'm so late to the party, so everyone's already said what makes this shoe such a great piece of art. I just wanna say I agree with you all and once again - p'aof, I owe you my life

#this was really created by love and care #the avting was amazing #it was so queer in a way that really made it hit in a way other shows don't #the characters were so complex and sll ahd different relationship dynamics that I really appreciated #i absolutely ADORE heart and liming and would want a spinoff about their life in america pls and thank you #also need a spinoff with alan and gaipa #the only criticism i have of this show is how they tried to make us believe earth looked like a 40 year old #35 is the oldest i would accept not almost 40 don't do earth like that #why couldn't they have given him a grey hair or a wrinkle?#love you earth tho #this show made me laugh a lot as well as cry and i appreciate it so much #they managed to discuss so many subjects without it feeling like a lecture you know?#and the cinematography mAN #yeah i just loved it y'all #moonlight chicken

why should you go watch monkey man? well dev patel gets beat up continually for a solid hour before being brought back from the brink of death by a group of trans and non binary people who then help him kill and maim a bunch of politicians and cops. also there's one scene where he stabs a guy in the neck with a knife and then uses his teeth to slit his throat

S1 and s2 (but especially s1) feel so intimate and grounded and personal. I am watching these character’s lives.

But s3 and s4 (ESPECIALLY s3) feels fake and removed. I’m watching a tv show.

Finally watched Blue Eye Samurai and damn, this show really is everything everyone's been saying. But also man, it's really making me think how much I wish non-animated shows focused on visuals. With everything being nearly-fully CGI, why do movies and shows have to look so... boring? If a friend group with a 90s camcorder can do it, why can't Disney (check out GGLS btw)? Idk, just frustrates me. Anyway, here's this show being eye candy.
