🔎 - i found it a while ago on a playlist of eastern european darkwave, because i was trying to seem cool and mysterious for my freshman year of high school. i'm terrible at being mysterious mostly because i talk too much for anyone to wonder about me.

💡 - this song makes me think of my grandparents, but not in a sweet, nice way, it makes me worried for their futures because the song is about dying in a nursing home. it also makes me think of my friend max because he, like the singer, is a fairly gloomy person.

🤡 - this song is sort of like if rick astley were a depressed, nihilistic belarusian guy with a decrepit keyboard and ptsd from seeing his entire family die before his eyes. in other words, it's just blackpilled 80's workout music with some unsettlingly cheerful synths thrown in for good measure.

goth music sounds good in theory for me. reverbs, bass lines, macabre melancholic themes, minor keys. why don't I like most goth bands I've listened to then?!
