but  then  again  ,  there  was  the  tweet  that  weighed  heaviest  in  her  mind  .  kieran  walked  out  in  the  middle  of  an  interview  ,  and  he  hadn’t  told  her  .  something  rattled  him  to  the  point  of  his  version  of  an  outburst  ,  and  he  hadn’t  told  her  .  that  seemed  like  something  he  would  have  told  her  .  .  .  it  seemed  important  enough  ,  she  thought  to  herself  ,  right  ?  RIGHT  ?

her  throat  felt  tight  ,  and  she  kept  running  the  tweets  she’d  read  over  in  her  mind  .  there  was  a  deep  furrow  in  her  brow  as  she  looked  down  at  her  hands  ,  still  vehemently  mixing  up  the  toy  .  something  felt  off  kilter  .  .  .  but  she  couldn’t  pin  down  which  hurt  more  :  the  slew  of  tweets  from  people  pretending  to  know  what  went  on  in  her  relationship  .  .  .  or  the  thought  of  kieran  doing  something  as  rash  as  storming  out  of  an  interview  ––  and  then  not  telling  her  .

Orlando. oof. not much to choose from i know, but like two Aussies? after the great Aussie nwsl exodus? i know Foord has a relationship with the coach, but she’s loving Arsenal and Lia Walti and i don’t think she’s planning on returning soon. Alanna Kennedy could also very well stay overseas especially if she doesn’t want to move, staying overseas looking more attractive in my opinion. wouldve looked at Pickett or Konya Plummer but it seems LV is pulling a Hail Mary and crossing their fingers about them coming back to the league (and other *side eye*). not to mention UK is closer to AUS and with them having the WC in 2023 i wouldn’t be surprised if that’s another reason they stayed in europe.

ok here we go. i will preface this by saying i have been a Thorns fan from the start, so this is devastating. my heart really does hurt, and seeing fans be so disgusted with the Thorns front office? deserved. i don’t think anyone really expected it to happen with the talent Portland left available. i mean considering LV’s entire team is rookies you’d think they would throw some experienced players in there, you know ones who will actually come play for you? Tobin not being a Thorn anymore just doesn’t seem real or right, and maybe that’s dramatic, but more than literally anyone else on that team, she IS Portland. this is a player who dedicated her entire career to helping build this club, and the way everything went down this year, dirty. having stated on multiple occasions (literally a month ago too) that Portland and the Thorns are her home, she had every intention of going back and playing there. now she won’t even get a proper sendoff? and Paulson is going to make statements that she’s irreplaceable? then get her back you dumb fucking idiot. i KNOW there is a long game here but Portland couldve waited for this exact thing to happen next year with LA, which it probably would’ve, and given a proper sendoff to the player who has been the heart of your team from its start. we’ll never know, but some back door deal could’ve and should’ve been made to leave her, especially with who else was available, but LV/Portland just uprooted a settled 30 year old life and i’m not ok with that. if they don’t at BARE minimum retire #17, oof, prepare for a riot.

i hope Tobin stays in Manchester until at least december 2021 and doesn’t report after the Olympics. i would even be down with a permanent move to the wsl as a fuck you to the nwsl. this draft reminded me of how disgusting it is that the NWSL does not give players autonomy of their own careers, jerking them around without any care for their feelings or lives. you cannot claim to be the best league in the world and then treat players this way. nobody can tell me Tobin is thrilled about this at the end of the day, even if she’ll get to play with Press, she just lost the home and team she spent years building and probably thought she’d end her career with that’s got to be devastating. furthermore, LV currently using the two of them as clickbait knowing the chances of them ever reporting there are about as likely as Donald Trump getting elected for a second bc ‘voter fraud’? fucking gross. I love cursing, don’t ever apologize for that! I’m sorry you’re hurting, too. It’s awful to see it go down like this. The problem is, there really wasn’t another way. Crystal got her wish so essentially they had to give up Tobin. I think they were banking on putting enough talent out there to distract Louisville into taking other players but alas, it didn’t work.

I’ve said earlier but I’ll say again, this hurts, but at the end of the day, at least Tobin and Christen get to go through this experience together and it’s not one left having to deal with it while the other has a safety net. They are each others safety nets now and that’s a cool thing. 

When it comes down to it, I think them staying in Manchester until Dec 2021 is exactly what they’ll do. That’ll give them time to come back to the states for the holidays and settle into LA (if they get that move), get a house there, and start ramping up media for the inaugural season. Fans want it. I really do think it’ll happen. I mean, look at the Rebellion 99 watch parties that they already have for CP and she’s not even an LA player yet. They simple LOVE their hometown girl. 

T&C and the first overall pic in 2022 for Louisville exemption like @xowoso said seems pretty spot on to me. 

For now, lets all just take a breath and thank our lucky stars that they are playing in Manchester right now and not actually having to make a 2020 decision about agreeing to go to Louisville. Let’s see where this WSL season ends up and if they can get into UCL before we stress too much. They’re happy and thriving together and I think we should hold onto that for now.

1. Tim or Bobby? 

Never played Bobby’s route, so I’m judging them as friends, and Tim was a better friend (we need a squad like the rap crew in season 2)

2. Choose two Islanders (from any season) to be quarantined with, and why? 

Well… Gotta say Gary and Jake. It would certainly be fun to be quarantined with them. And maybe Jake could teach Gary to cook??

3. How/when did you discover the game? 

I discovered it only like a month or two ago

4. If you could rewrite a scene, what scene would you rewrite? 

Oh, to pick only one… Ok, on Gary’s route: The scene where Chelsea arrives and tells everyone about Lottie and Gary kissing?? Yeah, fuck that. I would have loved for Chelsea to be like: “Everyone talked about how Lottie and Gary had this awkward kiss the night Hannah left, but the next morning MC and Gary made out at the gym!! Everybody knew they just weren’t over yet!”. And Lottie RAGING, and Marisol being like “we were coupled up, Gary!” and a proper discussion and MC-centered     drama. Not for her to be fixing everybody’s relationships, but for her to     be the protagonist and show Lottie she should shut up. Also having Gary open up to MC about that kiss and explaining to her what actually happened instead of only caring about meeting Chelsea would have been pretty nice, huh?

5. Favourite challenge? 

I had a lot of fun with the slime challenge. Give MC more chances to rub against Gary and piss off people.

6. If you could put/ship two Islanders together, who would you put together and why?

In Chelsea’s other Villa?? I think Carl and Marisol would’ve been hot together and would have a lot of stuff to talk about and probably conquered the world together. Also… Blake and Felix. Because, why not.

7. Describe your ideal S3 LI. 

OH GOSH. I would love a guy who says since the beginning he’s only there to have fun but falls HARD for MC and actually shows how much he cares and fights to get her. Give me some slow burn thing with lots of sexy times before he actually realizes how much he loves her. Tall, dark, handsome, you’re all good.

8. New or old Hannah? 

Ugh. New Hannah is just TOO annoying if you’re playing Gary’s route. She was never coupled up with him, he didn’t like her AT ALL, and still she comes back all salty about Lottie and MC?? And she doesn’t even want to be with Gary, she just wants to make the girls feel jealous by pretending to be someone she really isn’t. So… I prefer Old Hannah, I guess, at least she was genuine.

9. Who was dumped too soon? 

P R I Y A. I wished she could’ve stayed until the end. Also, Lurik, he could have been really interesting to see around and tempt MC if she was happily coupled up. Although that kiss scene before he leaves is pretty hot lol 

10. Jakub or Felix? 

Ugh. UGH. I guess… Felix??

11. Henrik or Lucas? 

Well, I found Lucas really sexy and interesting, but then I started his route and dropped it after Casa Amor. He was too cold for me, given how shy and awkward he was when he first arrived, I thought he would be different. I’ve never tried Henrik’s route and might do that soon since he seems really sweet, so maybe I’ll say Henrik.

12. Jo or Hope? 

I don’t really care about them tbh. Hope is usually a good friend to my MC, and I get that’s only because I have no interest at all in Noah. I think she’s shady af though, and that she really wants Noah to get to the final together. On the other hand, I hate liars. I hate even more liars who keep lying after you’ve caught them lying. Yeah, that didn’t really make me like Jo – and the fact that she dances on your LI's lap just because?? So, I’m gonna go with Hope here, I guess.

13. Lottie or Priya? 

PRIYA!! My love, my queen. She made some mistakes but always tried to fix them and held her head high, while Lottie is always blaming other people and being a hypocrite. But I always go for Gary so I guess it’s natural I don’t like Lottie lmao

14. What originally drew you to your LI? 

Oh man. The first time I played I was picking and I couldn’t decide between Gary or Rocco… And I went for Rocco. And regretted it SO SOON. Then I thought I might go for Gary, but Rocco chose MC. After that recoupling, Gary approaches MC and tells her he wanted to pick her and that if things don’t work with Rocco… and gently squeezes her arm. And I just KNEW I had to get him, I loved how gentle he is around MC, but also funny, confident, and he really cares about the rest of the Villa. So, he’s hot, but his personality and how he treated MC was what drew me to him.

15. Favorite LI of all time (both seasons)? 

Gary, duh. I really really really love Jake, but the way the season is written makes it impossible to get him until nearly the end, therefore you can’t spend much time with him. I’m sure I would have loved him even more if I could’ve seen more of him and how he treats MC. Gary, on the other hand, is around since the beginning and you get to spend a lot of time with him and have many chats, some serious, some silly, some playful. He’s such a lad, sometimes made me wonder about how he really felt towards MC, but then… CASA AMOR. When MC and Gary have that chat when she comes back, man, that was so sweet. Gary is truly crazy for MC and he shows it, he cares, but he’s still funny. Plus, he’s a complex character and it makes him feel more real than some of the others.

16. Favourite scene/day? 

There’s many I love tbh. The cake decorating scene really cracks me up (as you probably knew if you’ve seen my username). I also love the one I mentioned above, in which Gary speaks in private with MC after Casa Amor and tells her he missed her. Also, the kiss they share before she leaves to CA.

17. Who had the best character development? 

You will never guess… Gary! At the beginning he’s trying to be strategic and keep his cards close to his chest, but he’s honestly not good at that, and is willing to be coupled up with basically any of the girls if that keeps him in the game. But that fades gradually as he cares more and more about MC. I love the fact that he’s complex and also messes things up sometimes. I’ve met men like him, who sometimes say things they don’t mean only to keep their façade of tough, confident guys. But in private they’re soft and vulnerable. Obviously, the scene where he tells MC about his past is really important to understand his character and how threatened he feels when new boys arrive to the Villa. Things I never paid attention in my first play were suddenly very important when I     played again. How insecure he feels around Lurik, that moment when he says “I’m gonna go lift something heavy” after Lottie throws shade at him. Ugh I love him.

18. One thing that irked you about the game?

The fact that MC always had to deal with everyone’s shit and she was never the center of the drama. Even at Roccosol, Lottie manages to somehow be the one offended. And still MC has to deal with that mean tweet, and with someone calling her people pleaser and whatnot. The     whole Gary/Lottie kiss bothers me a lot too, especially if you’re in Gary’s route, I just can’t believe their kiss was important on the outside but     the ones he has with MC are overlooked. That gym kiss should’ve been brought up at some point, and Chelsea was the perfect person to do that.  

19. Season 1 reunion or Season 2 wedding? 

Well, the wedding was better, although I didn’t really love it. 

20. Describe domestic life or a head-canon about/with your LI. 

Well, of course Gary took MC to meet his family and they go every Sunday to have brunch together. Nan loves her and always tells her stories about Gary when he was younger and how she’s glad he found her. She also likes to embarrass both of them by bringing some... moments they lived in the Villa in the conversations, making everyone     laugh and MC and Gary blush hard. Gary just going “Nan!!” And she: “Well if you didn’t want me to talk about it you shouldn’t have done it on the telly!”

The message lay out in front of him.

It’s been a long time since Jay and Tim had a real chance to breathe. 

The codes from “ToTheArk” did nothing to calm their nerves. Find cryptic codes that spent hours to decode only to reveal more mocking messages that did nothing but send them in circles. Alex was still on their tail, hellbent on killing the both of them. God knows where Jessica was, lost or dead or worse. And all Jay could do is sit there in his hotel room, hiding.

Like a god damn coward.

Tim had left some time ago to get food, probably from so cheap fast food joint but he insisted that they needed a break.

“You need to eat, Jay” Tim said, putting on his coat. “The codes will be there when we’re done. Staring at these all day cannot be good for you”

Sure, the codes will still be here. But Jessica might not. Alex might show up at their door and kill them both. ToTheArk might fuck with them. The Thing might come back and take one of them. 

He didn’t need a break. He didn’t need sleep. He didn’t need food. He needed this to be over.

Jay looked it over. Again. And again. And again.

He ran it over and over in his sleep deprived mind. Twenty one hours of staring at random codes and websites and tweets from the viewers leading to....this.

One word. A mocking, cruel joke.

A truth he already knew

His leg bounced, his breath shaky. He couldn’t hear the world around him anymore, couldn’t focus at anything other than what was in front of him. He just stared at the paper. Stared at the one fucking word.

He jumped, suddenly being pulled out of his thoughts by a very concerned looking Tim. 

“Jesus Tim, don’t just-”

“What the hell was that?!”

“I was trying to get your attention but you weren’t responding and just staring off into space!”

Christ, how long was he out like this?

“I....I'm fine”

“Bullshit! Whatever the hell that was it wasn’t fine!”

“I was just distracted, ok?”

“Yeah, not buying that either”

Tim pretty much rips the paper from Jay’s hand before he could respond, looking it over.

“What the hell-”

“One of codes, figured it out when you were out. Great right? I spent hours trying to figure it out and it’s just fucking insult. Could’ve just said it out loud.”

“I....don’t think it’s supposed to be towards you-”

“How could it NOT be? I mean come on! You of all people should know that I'm biggest coward out here!”

He ran his hand through his hair, his leg bouncing even more.

“I mean for the love of god, I keep fucking lying, I can’t stand up to Alex, I led that thing straight Jessica, I just keep running-”

“Jay, Jay!”

Tim grabs his shoulders, leaning down, looking him dead in the eye.

“You’re not a coward, alright?”

“You’re full of shit, I mean even the god damn hooded creep in the woods say it-”

“I don’t care what they said, it doesn’t mean shit!”

“Wh-”

“Are you really going to listen to some cryptic stalker over someone that has been living with you for month? Unless you’ve been making midnight trips into the woods, I think I know you better. I don’t care what the codes say. I don’t care what Alex says. I don’t care what you say. I know you.”

Jay nodded, shaking. He closed his eyes, heading pound, rubbing his face. The exhaustion from past few days seemed to all just hit him at once.

Tim sighed, giving him a small smile.

“Take a break, come eat, sleep please. No more codes?”

Jay chuckled a little, giving him a smile.

“No more codes”

Did you see what your precious Grant did? Are you gonna defend him cause you only call out Candice for wearing leather and eating meat and that must be worse than almost setting a plane on fire to get high?

Oh for the love of god, you are the same pathetic person who messages me every time anyone in the cast does something stupid and tries to pretend I don’t care, but I hate Candice. I blocked your messages a long time ago, but I can still see them in activity even if they’re not in my inbox. You’ve sent a lot, you really need a hobby.

First off, I never “called out” Candice for wearing leather. I was sent a message, it was another person saying they were sad Candice wore leather after she’d tweeted about liking vegan food. I responded saying how even trying vegan food now and then saves lives, it’s awesome Candice is even willing to try vegan foods and tweet a restaurant asking for more vegan options, so instead of sending her hate, people should praise her for the steps she is taking and use that as encouragement instead of shame. And, that’s the only time I’ve ever said anything related to Candice and veganism.

If someone had sent me a message about Grant or any other cast member, I would’ve said something very similar, but I wouldn’t have been able to say they’ve gone as far as Candice has with vegan food. So, if you think that was a hate post, you’d be mortified when I wrote how Grant was uneducated about factory farming and should be more open to learning about veganism. The person who messages me specifically talked about Candice, so I responded about Candice.

You’ve been butthurt over this for 7 months, desperately trying to twist it into a hate post when it’s not. You just want to be outraged for the sake of outrage. Meanwhile, there’s people who actually hate Candice who you should point your anger at. You aren’t helping her by sending rude and childish messages to one of her fans every few weeks.

Second, as shocking as it may sound, I do have things to do besides track what the cast does 24/7. I was at clinical all day, so I hadn’t seen the news about what Grant did till a few minutes ago. Just because I don’t post something saying how I think someone did something shitty within 10 minutes of it happening, doesn’t mean I’m ok with it.

If you’d cared at all about my actual feelings related to Grant vaping on a plane, you wouldn’t have sent such a condescending message. You don’t what to hear me condemn him, you just to stand up and scream about how you think I’m a hypocrite.

I was going to post a little rant about how stupid, selfish, reckless, and gross Grant is for doing that. He could’ve caused mass hysteria if other passengers thought it was a fire or a bomb creating that smoke. Someone could’ve gotten killed. I’m not a cop or a lawyer, I don’t know what exactly the punishment is for doing something so asinine, but I think there should be some legal percussions for Grant. He should have to pay a heavy fine or do community service. Hell, maybe he should even be banned from air travel for a bit.

You’re pettiness isn’t guilt tripping me. You haven’t bruised my ego. I know what kind of person I am. I’m confident in my support for Candice and my own morals. These kinds of messages you send show everyone what kind of person you are.
