Okay this has been in my drafts for over a YEAR.

It's not finished and I have no plans to finish it BUT if anyone wants to do something with it let me know! I gotta get this out my drafts before I go insane.

Spoilers for the ROTTMNT Movie. Lol do I have to put a spoiler warning?

Ft. Kraang and Leo: Two arrogant psychopaths.

"Don't worry, Donnie! This is not a hug! It's a rescue!"

That was the last thing Leo heard as he saw his brothers fall through the air. He only had one second to see they landed safely before his attention was back on Kraang Prime; standing just a couple feet in front of him.

"You know, we're not so different you and I."

It took Leo a second to realize that Kraang had addressed him. He figured they were going to immediately start fighting.

"Can't believe I'm saying this but...save the small talk. Let's get this over with." He said as he took a fighting stance with his swords ready.

"Trust me I plan to. But even someone as simple-minded as you could see the similarities."

Against his better judgement, Leo took the bait.

"Okay. Fine. You have 2 seconds to explain what you're talking about before I send you back to where you came from."

To Leo's surprise, Kraang's smirk that was present since they started talking only grew.

"That. Right there. The cockiness."

Leo's hands loosened on his swords just a little bit. "Cockiness...?"

Kraang looked briefly annoyed at the question. "Smug, full-of-yourself....". His smirk returned. "Acting like you're destined to win every fight you happen to end up in. Cockiness."

"I prefer confidence-"

"It's arrogance. But, as I said, we share this specific trait."

By now, Leo was hanging onto every word Kraang said. Thoughts of his brothers fell to the back of his mind ('they're safe I saw them land') and the grip on his swords was almost nonexistent. He wanted to see where Kraang was going with this.

"So we're arrogant. Your point?"

"My point is that we both. Hate. Losing. And right now it looks like you're on the losing side."

Leo said nothing. He didn't even move a muscle as Kraang started coming closer.

"Let's see if I have this correct: you're the type to ignore all sense of reason to get your way. Because you know, deep down, that you are superior to those who would think to go against you. While you have family, or should I say comrades at best, you don't hesitate to treat them like soldiers who should follow you no questions asked."

One of Leo's swords dropped to the ground. "That's not...I wouldn't..."

"What about your brother. The red one."

At the mention of Raph, Leo tightened his grip on his one remaining sword. "Leave him alone."

"When I was digging for information from his mind, I saw hundreds of arguments between the two of you. Always the same subject: you not following orders. You going off on your own. You, from my perspective, simply being a leader..."

"That was me being dumb. I was in the wrong. And taking you down is gonna prove that."

"And yet you still don't attack."

And Leo realized that, yes, Kraang was right. For the first time in Leo's life, someone had his full, undivided attention. Which is why, as Kraang began circling him, he never looked away.

"What did you feel when you managed to take the key back the first time? When I captured your brother?"

At first, Leo wanted to say "anger" or "fear". What else would he feel? His brother just got captured after taking a hit meant for him. "Guilt" was another option.

But if he said any of those, he'd be a liar.

What Leo actually felt, was something he shouldn't have. And he knew that when he felt it.

Because what he really felt, was

"Excitement."

I'm back! (With a new au no less!)

This au is a crossover between sonic the hedgehog and Rottmnt! (It's also a reincarnation au! (I have plans to turn it into a fanfic-))

Below 'Keep reading' is the au's premise!

Essentially, Leo died in the prison dimension. He ended up being reincarnated due to 'it not being his time to be with the ancestors yet' and ended up being reborn as Sonic!

15 years pass from the events of the movie, and Mikey finally figures out how to communicate with the Hamato ancestors! (The scroll vanished lmao. They couldn't find it due to the krang situation having caused everything to become a wreck. They eventually got it back tho (which is how he figured out how to communicate with them-))

Only, he comes to discover that Leo isn't with them and is currently ' needing and waiting for his brothers to find him' (Karai's words). So he and the other mad dogs come up with a plan to go find him (not realizing that he's in a completely different world at that time).

Shenanigans and such occur , all while leo/sonic is looking for something he doesn't remember (the drawback of being reincarnated is that he forgot everything about his past life and only is aware that he's missing something). Eventually, our blue boy ends up getting sent to New York and more shenanigans happen!

That's pretty much the premise without hopefully too much spoilers. This has been something that's been turning in my mind, and I had to make something for it! I'm excited to get this fanfic rolling X3

For now, I hope the art I made for this helps! (The twins' twin sense got reignited and they both were confused. Donnie, because he wasn't aware that Sonic was the reincarnation they were looking for, and Sonic because he's never in his current life had the twin sense active (even tho it felt vaguely familiar). The sense reigniting was very noticable to both of them (due to how it was severed for a bit).

ROTTMNT FIC RECS PART ONE

I’ve been wanting to give Fic Recs for a while and then realized I could just do that anytime I wanted, plus I think Fic Rec Lists should be more of a thing because I’m always excited when I find them so without further ado, some fics I really liked that I think more people should read!

This Year We Lost Our Dear Brother Leonardo (Series) By Catatonicatnap- Don’t let the title fool you, it’s Post-Movie Hurt/Comfort and FULL of scenes that had me wheezing! Two one shots so far and 8k words in total for the series! Everyone is written so well and it feels like it could be a scene from the show/movie! I think about this one constantly tbh, I read it pretty soon after watching the movie and it was EXACTLY what I was looking for!

Donatello x2 By SpectrumWriting- Donnie accidentally splits himself into Two Donnies while experimenting: One who is terrifyingly pragmatic, and the other who’s highly and openly empathetic. Shenanigans ensue. Ongoing, 5 chapters so far, and 12k words in total! Hasn’t been revisited in a while but don’t let that stop you, it’s a fantastic read and I love the dynamics!

What’s Left Of A Candle Without It’s Ends By Catatonicatnap- Yes, another one by the same author, it’s good stuff, okay? Post-Season 2 Finale, Mikey gets artistic burnout because all of his work in the old lair has been destroyed. Leo helps. Some really good Mikey angst that I honestly felt. Could not imagine losing all my work over the years so honestly seeing Mikey get his happy ending was twice as satisfying! Completed with two chapters and 3k words in total!

How To Spruce Up Your Lair In 10 Easy Steps! By BigDamnHer0- A Post-Movie Healing One Shot in which the family takes up house renovating as a coping mechanism and, as the title suggests, spruces up their lair! I love the style it’s written so much, it’s honestly fantastic. All of the turtles get a chance in the spotlight and it’s just a great fic overall. 7k words and completed!

Carapace By SkeletalConstellations- I just binged this whole fic throughout yesterday and today and it was a wild ride that I now want everyone to go on! Donnie gets badly hurt and transfers his consciousness into a robot body he designed for himself. It brings up some complications and revealed secrets in the process. Ongoing, 16 chapters as of now, and 40k words in total! I’m very excited to see where this fic goes!

For What It’s Worth, It Was Worth All The While By Taizi- Another fantastic Post-Movie Hurt/Comfort fic that I think about constantly! There’s so many things about this fic that I love, especially regarding what happened immediately after they got Leo back, and honestly I think everyone should read it if they haven’t already. It’s so sweet! 2k words and two chapters in total!

Decompress By Tenka- More Post-Movie Hurt/Comfort because I really can’t get enough of it. This one follows Leo during the first day after preventing the apocalypse and it’s so GOOD! The dynamic are wonderful, a few scenes cracked me up, and I’ve reread it a few times since I first found it and it’s fantastic every time! It’s a one shot with 13k words in total!

Andddd that’s all I’m gonna do for now! Definitely gonna make more, both for ROTTMNT and other fandoms! Thought about making a Spoiler-Free Fic list for those still watching through ROTTMNT so probably gonna make that at some point? I’ll figure it all out later!

ALALAKDKDLALAKSKDLSLALA okay. :D

I might have to redact a couple things because SPOILERS!!! HERE WE GO!!!!

So I was trying to figure out what my evil army should be. I felt it should fit the with fantasy theme, since the main villain is Vangelis. And the season he debuted in was high fantasy based. So I considered a bunch of different options. Including trolls, clockwork robots, and I think even wendigos. None of these quite fit. Finally I settled on Gargoyles. And here I have a scrapped piece of concept art of one of them I drew.

I say scrapped because some happened that COMPLETELY rewrote this thing for the better. After reading the short story Amber Spiral, (Which I'll give to link to in case you're curious.)

I decided Vangelis would be using an Ancient Amber Tree and Amber Elemental power to steal the Element of {REDACTED} from {REDACTED} And as time went on, I realized that the Gargoyles mythical-ness and the Ambers prehistory vibes did not mesh well. So I got back to the drawing board. I don't remember how, but it suddenly hit me. What you mostly likely to find in Amber?

BUGS.

Creepy scary bugs. 😈🦗🪲🦟 Enter THE INSECTOIDS! A bug based race that live deep under ground, in the roots of the Amber Tree. Now I don't have any concept art yet. But I do have some descriptions from my notes on them. And one named character named King Torrlax. Here! Take a peek! (There might be spelling mistakes. I apologize.😅)

Anyhoo, as you can see, they would be formidable fighters, being faster and more agile in the air then the Shintarians. A could cool facts about them is that they would look a bit like the big tribes from Chima. Albeit taller, scarier and more grotesque.

And also there was a line of the toys a long time ago from Lego called Insectoids. So it's a neat call back to a part of Lego's history.

So now with a new army and a dark vibe, the villains had taken on a more Dark Fantasy vibes, which perfectly contrasted the Deep Lands mystical and wonderous look. And I am LIVING for it baby! :DDD

There's so much nuances, references, and a parallels I can't even explain with some more concept art. I can't wait for that. One fun reference is the Amber chunks set in the tree's roots and branches kinda allude to insect eggs. So that's kinda creepy and fun. And can't wait to show that off.

I also designed a concept Ninja armor for one of the Ninja. Who? That is {REDACTED} lol.

OH YEAH! As for my Ninjago x Rottmnt AU, I figured out what Yokai Nya and Kai will be! Tigons! (Male Tiger x Female Lion) Ray is a Bengal Tiger and Maya is an Asiatic Lion. Also, I made Nya a White Tigon, since I thought it would contrast her blue color scheme nicely. And Kai of course is just regular Tiger colors, since they're so fiery. I'm still working out some other stuff,, but that was one of the most exciting things I came up with.😁
