Of course, one would expect Velma of all people to immediately shut down the idea of hocus-pocus and that ilk. Though, she leans back, frowning somewhat. Taking a moment to get oil-stained gloves off and a wipe to ensure her hands were cleaned proper before she touched anything else after working on the gadget she was fiddling with.

“Jinkies, it’s an interesting concept, isn’t it? Things beyond our understanding that we just haven’t really tapped into. Of course, I’d much rather reach those sort of things with my technology but-- Well, I’m sure a lot of innovations were considered magic back in the day, too.” 

A pause, as she took a moment to look over her tools and consider.

“Well, if you mean the actual type of fantasy magic, though, I’d love to see it for real, don’t get me wrong! I don’t believe in it, of course, but it’s not as if I don’t want to be proven wrong! Being proven wrong is one of the best things that can really happen in my line of work, if you ask me! It’d be a nice change of pace from always being proven right, really.”
